Mixed feelings on this hotel. It’s a maze to find your apartment. Often coming out & walking through underground car park. Not easy to navigate at all. The 3 bed/3 bath we had was lovely and spacious, clean & had plenty of towels & beach towels. $60 a day to reserve sun chairs if you want to guarantee a chair with an umbrella, otherwise it’s so hot you’ll be scorched. Couldn’t take advantage of the $100 late check out as they said they were fully booked. But surely they could at least offer a limited amount. I had emailed well before we got there to request as late uk flight back. Used the shuttle bus to universal, not the hotels own but it was awfully noisey rickety. One family got off at the next hotel and said they’d get an uber instead. Don’t think we’d return sadly.

Did not like that the Grove was book and they put us in the back at a addition to the resort called the Terrace, there was only one restaurant but advertised more. Didn't like that everything was all the way on the other side, had to pay $65 per cleaning service, $15 per fresh towels, also food was pricey and not worth the cost.

There are two different buildings, and one is not walkable, especially in the heat. Parking was an EXTRA expense which I was not aware of. The resort only has two slides. My 15-year-old got bored fast. My 9-year-old was content. Some of the staff spoke 0 English, and it was hard to communicate unless you went to the desk. The one-bedroom kitchen area was very small, and washing dishes became an issue with wetting the floor. We actually used the stove area. Overall all we had a great time, but the daily parking was a killer because waiting half an hour for a shuttle to get to the next building was annoying if there was more than just your family. It's a golf cart. We had to get out of the pool each time it rained, and we had the benefit of driving back to our room. However, the building had its own pool, which was much less crowded and definitely a PLUS. Great time, just a bit overpriced.

The resort charges for everything. You pay for the hotel and then a resort fee plus you have to pay extra for daily maid service. The parking is $30 a day with no valet service offered. Parking spaces are for compact cars only and not close the rooms. Water park water was murky and over crowded. By the time all the fees are added up you could’ve stayed in a 5 star with better location and amenities.

First I want to say the property itself is very nice. The rooms are nice. The hallways smelled mildewy though and they are extensive and easy to get lost in. Here’s my qualms- #1 the stay was already pretty expensive- well whatever the booking fee is- you also pay $40-$45 a day resort fee and $25/day for parking. They provide you beach towels in the room for you to reuse and you have to wash them in the washer if you want. They don’t clean the rooms at all during your stay unless you pay extra. If you ask for towels that’s extra. The staff is not really very nice or accommodating. Especially the staff in the arcade. Completely unexpected. Here’s what the property offers Swan boats and canoes for $20 for 30 minutes or a bigger boat tour for $40 for 30 Fishing rods to fish. The water park is fun but not super big. It’s 2 big slides, a very small lazy river, a splash zone with 3 smaller little slides, a pool and the surfing instructor area. The surfing is extra- $35 per person for a $30 minute shared lesson. They have restaurants and of course these are overpriced. Outside of the water park area they have 4 pools right next to each other these close at 10. Water park closes between 7-8. None of the staff was super friendly from the get go. I will say that we had an amazing experience with Alex at the pier he WAS super nice and friendly AND Eric the surf instructor. My kids did the 30 minute surf lesson and he was incredible. They had an amazing time with that.

Good: - 2 bedroom suite was huge, had great amenities like washer/dryer and was very clean - water park is small and best for younger kids but not crowded Bad: - multiple dirty diapers discarded around the property (one was in the same spot for 3 days) - weed smoking all over the place with my kids asking why the place smells so bad everywhere - the property is so huge it took 14 min one way to get to the pool from our room and then it was so crowded with no seats that we left and never went back - the lines for the elevators were so long we walked up and down 5 flights each time - there was vomit in the parking garage that wasn’t cleaned up the entire time

The property is in good location. Dinings, pharmacy and shoppings are within short distances if driving. Not walking distance. But there are eating options like Starbucks, restaurant, quick bites, mini mart are on site which is convenient for morning or afternoon quick pick me up bites. Water park is very crowded but was fun. There is one arcade for kids to enjoy indoor fun. Paddle boats on side as well. The resort itself is convenient and fun. The only negative to the resort is the room’s cleanliness. The sheets that were in my kids’ room two double bed were dirty. It had red bloody stain on them, don’t know if it’s new or old but thanks goodness I always bring my own sheets when traveling with kids. If it was old stain, resirt should throw it away or do better job getting rid of the stains instead of just slap it back onto the bed. The shelves in bathrooms were quite dusty in some area. Floors in bathrooms doesn’t look like it was mopped because it was dirty. Bathroom shower stall caulking were black in some area. The place need better cleaning. Everywhere else were fine. Very spacious condo, had full kitchen and laundry which is awesome. Every bedroom has tv so that’s a plus, free cable to watch as well. Great space for a family of 5 . The two bedroom condo was spacious with one sofa bed in living room. Wish they gave extra sheets and blanket for sofa bed. Staffs were nice. Would have gave 5 stars if the place was cleaner.

My family and I had reservations at the Grove resort in Orlando Florida. We were celebrating my daughter’s 6th birthday. This would be here grandparents first time meeting my daughter and first time on an airplane. We planned to have a fun trip but sadly mislead. On Friday evening, our first night’s stay, my mother in law was bitten by bed bugs. The bites caused her body to stiff up, body swollen and bitten from her neck down to back side of her behind. She was forced be rushed to an emergency room visit where she had to have two shots. This is her first time on a vacation and she had to spend the experience in an emergency room because of the misleading resort. The grove advertises that they have enhanced cleaning of the guest rooms. That is a lie. The beds had bed bug nests infested in the wooden framed headboards. The hotel changed our rooms after midnight causing an inconvenience. We have two toddlers who were sleep and interrupted with this problem. Less than 6 hours later in the new room there were more bed bugs spotted on the back of my sisters shirt. And I woke up with a bite mark on the back of my shoulder. We were disgusted and asked the hotel to accommodate us elsewhere as we were uncomfortable to sleep another night with this infestation. My daughter’s birthday was ruined. We spent $1200 on tickets to epic universe and couldn’t attend because we were too busy trying to find accommodations elsewhere. The refund wouldn’t hit the account so we stayed. VACAY RUINED!!

I immediately noticed that the bed comforter was soiled upon first entry into the room with some sort of bodily fluid. Resembled old blood. The tv in the second room didn't work. I stayed for 3 nights and had no housekeeping my entire stay. Waste baskets full. No one to change it. Would not return if I was paid to.

Stay away from this hotel! I rented 3 bedroom suite for 5 nights. Needed to change rooms due to cockroaches in the kitchen! The 2nd room had same issue in the kitchen. Management needs to do a better job of cleaning and exterminating. In addition, they only comp me for one night stay. Very disappointing!!

We were not happy with this property. The room was gross. All the drains were clogged. The floor was sticky. The blinds were filthy. One of the bathrooms has some serious water damage. The main tv was stuck on one Channel and you couldn’t change it. They basically nickel and dime you for everything. It shouldn’t even be called a resort. We hoped that the pool area would be better and it wasn’t. We get down there to find out the slides and lazy river area is closed off for cleaning. Who closes that during a holiday week or early to middle of the day. It was not for any accident. They literally had to clean it. The water looked disgusting. But whoever designed that area is not the brightest. They have mulch and dirt around the water so of course it’s gonna go. Even after they cleaned it, it still looked dirty. The color of the water was not blue either. The main pool was ok. The pavers were broken. The place needs a serious deep clean from top to bottom. The only fun we had was on the flo rider. Check out is at 10am. It was 9:40 and we were packing our stuff and putting it in the car. When I opened the door to load the car I saw a cleaning lady was waiting to come in. We still have 20 min. What the heck. Needless to say we will never go back.

Walk was very far to the water park. Seems as though the pool bars were closed during the week which was inconvenient. Scissors should be added to the utensils in the rooms. More pots, pans, dishes etc. tv in master suite never worked.

Really great stay overall, very family friendly and has everything needed to have fun without leaving the resort often. Be prepared to pay more for on-site items in the convenience store onsite. Our stay was wonderful at the Grove. It is a beautiful property that really caters to families and couples alike. The amenities are fantastic for families. My teenage daughters really enjoyed the pool/water park. The superior suites are amazingly spacious, clean, modern and large. The screened in balconies are an added bonus. We had sublime service from the front desk. Especially from Miguel. We had an issue with uber drivers and timing. He was the most gracious host and could not have been kinder to my husband and I. Every person we met at the resort was friendly and kind. It’s very nice when someone actually says hello and how are you today. We truly enjoyed our short stay. So much so we will be back again soon.

The hotel is outdated with carpet all over. Our hotel room smelled musty like mold. The showers were leaking and we had to listen to the drip all night. Layout of hotel was also confusing. On the positive end the pools and waterpark were great. The lazy river was enjoyable too. The hotel grounds are beautiful but we won’t be returning.

The pools and water park were nice, though smaller than the pictures made it seem. However, when we checked in at 6:30 pm we were told our room wasn't ready and we had to wait 2 hours for it to become available. If you are on the side of the water park, they play the music very loud until almost 10 pm, not to mention the storm alarm that goes off at the first hint of lightning. The rooms are also not very sound proof and the chairs scraping across the floor reverberate through the ceiling. Overall an ok stay but not what I expected.

We stayed in the Terraces (the newest building) for 3 nights after a busy Disney trip. Our 1-bedroom unit was clean, modern, and spacious, with a great pool exclusive to the Terraces—quiet, well-maintained, and plenty of shaded loungers. The biggest downside is that the Terraces are separate from the main resort and far from the water park. While there is a shuttle, it’s very inconsistent—no clear schedule, unclear stops, and conflicting info from staff. We often had to chase it down or ask the front desk to radio it. Customer service was also disappointing. Maybe it felt worse coming from a Disney property, but the difference was stark. Staff ranged from friendly to visibly annoyed, and things felt disorganized. The water park itself is a good size with plenty to do. My kids (9 & 12) were entertained and could roam freely since it’s small enough to feel safe. There are two full-sized water slides with short lines, even on a Saturday. My son did a group surf simulator lesson that was affordable and well-run by great instructors. Downsides: very little shade, an upcharge for shaded “premium” lounge chairs, no seating by 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, and not enough tubes in the lazy river. Nice property overall—but expect shuttle issues, limited shade, and uneven service.

I never dealt with a better staff at a resort. I was there for five nights and six days and it was the best resort I’ve ever been to in the United States. The staff was so accommodating. The waterpark was great to the point where my son didn’t wanna leave to go to Universal or Disney he wanted to stay there instead .The manager was also top-notch. If you’re looking for a good resort for you and your family go to the Grove I actually have no complaints at all. The only thing I could say it’s cashless so bring your card or charge it to the room.

The room had 3 bedrooms/baths - we were not given enough towels and were told to "wash them". Absolutely unacceptable that we were not toilet paper or garbage bags. The check in process was horrendous! Not enough people at the check in. The area by the restaurant was absolutely filthy! The prices were ridiculous and we were nickel and dimed to death. I had much better experiences at other resorts in the past. There were NO clear signs on how to get to certain areas. The wrist bands were horrible...if they got caught on something - they tightened up on my wrist, my childs wrist and my husbands wrist - and we had to cut them off. Went down stairs, waited on yet another LONG line to get new wrist bands and were told we had to pay for them! And we were never told what the check out process was - we waited on the phone for 40 minutes. This place needs alot of help. We've been to several resorts and never once had an issue.

I didn’t like that the line for check in was very long. They need more staff on busy days at check in time. I waited almost an hour to be checked in. No complaints about nothing else. I enjoyed my stayed and my kids loved the water park. We will be back soon!

Upon check in the system had crashed and we waited in line for an hour and a half before being able to check in. The manager stated they would be doing something for the people who had to wait but I have not seen any price reduction or anything come through. We got to our room and there was not any pillow/blankets/sheets for the pull out bed, we called down stairs and it took them over 2 hours to bring them. The staff was friendly for the most part. The water park was nice and the kids enjoyed it. I would recommend that all staff be trained on the water slide as some lifeguards would allow my 5 year old to go on the slides but others wouldn’t because she was not 48in tall, while others let her and never even measured her. The arcade/mini golf was nice. The room was very spacious and clean. We liked that it was away from super busy areas but also close enough to Disney. Overall we did enjoy the stay.

First off this was my 5th time coming to the grove. We had a great experience the other four times, but this time was something different. Pros we love the water park and pool area they even had an activity room for the kids to hang out in! The rooms are very spacious and organized. Cons they made us clean the towels from the pool area and the towels from your room. I was not notified that I had to wash towels for 10 days. They don’t provide housekeeping. They also barley pick up the garbage from the room they make you put it in the hallway which makes all the hallways stink. Staying as a guest at the hotel for 10 days I would’ve expected them to be a little more accommodating no one wants to go on vacation and start cleaning towels and begging them to pick up the garbage. We come as families with lots to do we want to relax and have a good time. When it came time to do a late check out the lady over the phone said if you don’t leave by 10am we will bring security. We asked nicely for a later time to check out. And this is what she said this is not what I expected from a high rating hotel. We hung up and I called back saying that’s not the way you talk to guests let alone people we are not animals. They then said sorry and extended it to 11 overall I probably will not be returning to the grove resort Orlando. Hope this review helps you when you are booking your vacation

The lady at the receptionist desk was VERY RUDE! I couldn’t hear her because of the music that was playing in the lobby and the noise from other people who were in the lobby which was fine however the young lady was appearing to get agitated because I couldn’t hear what she was saying. She was so nasty to me that she literally couldn’t take the time out to explain to me where I was supposed ti be going. She circles it on the map and told me the instructions will show me.

Our stay at The Grove Resort was a little disappointing due to inconsistent service and lack of hospitality. We arrived around 1:30 p.m. and were told by Eleanore at the front desk that our room wouldn’t be ready until after 4:00 p.m. or there after and she would call when it was available. No call ever came. When we returned at 2:45 p.m., the room was suddenly ready, despite the resort appearing mostly empty. No one asked about our housekeeping preferences for our four-night stay, and we had to flag down a housekeeper in the hallway just to get clean towels. At check-in, my mother was asked to surrender her ID to use a luggage cart—something even the Head of Security seemed unaware of—and later, we saw an unattended cart sitting by the elevator. To make matters worse, the TV in our room displayed another guest’s name for our entire stay, raising serious privacy concerns. This trip was a surprise celebration for my mother, who recently beat cancer. I had spoken highly of The Grove, but the lack of communication, inconsistency, and unwelcoming tone from staff—especially Eleanore—tainted what should have been a joyful experience. The unit itself was nice, but the service fell far short of expectations for a resort of this caliber. I hope management uses this feedback to improve training and guest care.

This was our 3rd year here at The Grove, just a wonderful time, great place for families. I must compliment the front desk staff, especially Lizzie, we traveled as a family and had requested to at least be in same building, she did everything, with success, that she could to make that happen, all of us were on the 7th floor. Your bellman, Steve, just great and professional on all levels. Thanks so much for a wonderful time and we hope return as a family next year!

Mixed feelings on this hotel. It’s a maze to find your apartment. Often coming out & walking through underground car park. Not easy to navigate at all. The 3 bed/3 bath we had was lovely and spacious, clean & had plenty of towels & beach towels. $60 a day to reserve sun chairs if you want to guarantee a chair with an umbrella, otherwise it’s so hot you’ll be scorched. Couldn’t take advantage of the $100 late check out as they said they were fully booked. But surely they could at least offer a limited amount. I had emailed well before we got there to request as late uk flight back. Used the shuttle bus to universal, not the hotels own but it was awfully noisey rickety. One family got off at the next hotel and said they’d get an uber instead. Don’t think we’d return sadly.

I highly recommend this property for families who are seeking a quiet and spacious place for vacation. 15 minutes from.Magic kingdom and 20 minutes from.Disney springs. The water park was amazing. They have also 4 other pools for the resident of the property. You can spend the day just chilling on the pool or the water park. Parking is extra around 25$ a day. But still a better deal than disney resorts. The rooms were big and spacious and each room came with a full bathroom and a full kitchen. My husband forgot his wedding ring in the room after we left we contacted them and they shipped it back to us! I would be back next year.

I liked that you could park on the level of your floor which was helpful. The staff I interacted with was nice. The room was clean. I was not a fan of the app and some of the links did not work which was frustrating. The text feature did not work either. There really is only 1 restaurant for meals. Which is fine because there is a full kitchen which was nice to cook meals. Supermarkets are 10 mins away.
I liked that you could park on the level of your floor which was helpful. The staff I interacted with was nice. The room was clean. The picture online are deceiving. I thought we were getting and nice modern styled room but when I arrived to our room it was kinda old. The hallways had areas where the walls were molded and baseboards were literally fallen. I will say that the rooms were very clean and very spacious especially considering we were a family of six. Some of the staff were kinda rude and showed no concern of a few issues I had but the few that did care went above and beyond which made up for the others. Overall we did get what we paid for. Not terrible but not mid either.

Room was spacious and clean, that was all we liked. There were no dish towels, hand soap and barely enough toilet paper. The corridor we were in was in an area with no mapping, broken doors and damaged walls. The pools are at one end of the property that funnels you through the lobby that is in constant chaos, no directions to help show you where you are or where to go. The pools are dirty with landscape debris due to narrow walk ways in between them. There arent enough chairs in the pool area, unclear sinage to outdoor bathrooms and unclear directions when ordering food from app (no time,confirmation number or pickup area). Alot of tiles around the lazy river are lose and uneven. The arcade has nice updated games, but credits are twice as much as standard arcades so you get half the play time, mini golf isnt included you have to pay extra.

This resort isn’t as it’s advertised. The rooms are TINY ! There is mold through out the resort. The pool is so heavily in chemicals that my entire family had a rash getting out of the pool. It small like bleach water. The flooring is laminated flooring that isn’t secured well. The beds are so uncomfortable and they say there is a shuttle but the shuttle doesn’t really work. You have to walk a long walk to the pools and restaurants if the shuttle doesn’t come to pick you up. The food isn’t the greatest and very pricy. For a family of 4 we spent about 140 every time we ate at the restaurants for 4 meals and drinks. Please check the google reviews before booking.

I liked that you could park on the level of your floor which was helpful. The staff I interacted with was nice. The room was clean. We loved our stay at The Grove!! We booked a Superior Family Condo with 2 Bedrooms- it was like staying in a luxury apartment. The hotel was sold out & we never heard our neighbors. Comfy beds, comfy couch, laundry unit in the room & both bedrooms had attached bathrooms & TVs in each room. The waterpark wax great- I recommend booking a cabana way in advance as they were sold out day of. They have a cafe on the main floor with groceries to purchase & a Starbucks. They also have pizza & pasta options made to order. We loved the pizza. We also went to the restaurant Valencia for dinner & enjoyed the food/drinks. Plenty of food/drink options while at the pool too & they are able to charge everything to your room using the bracelet you’re given at check in. The check in line was long every time we passed it- so be prepared for that but the staff were all friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds to walk day or night as well & our room had a balcony to enjoy the view.

I loved the feeling of being in nature and the trees and beautiful grass, ponds, lakes on the property. It was such a relaxing experience. The food options were just okay.. I can't really say I loved the food, but it was edible. I just felt like I was on a property, but not necessarily getting a 5 * resort food experience especially for the pricing. The rooms were large and I loved that they had the enclosed patios. The outside of the property looked like it was the part of the property that was taken care of the most, however, the actual hallways and elevators just felt like it needed work to be done a little more consistently during the days/weeks. I also wish there was just a little more smiling faces and warmth from the employees throughout the property. I think it could have just been a little more welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and I would definitely stay here at again depending on the time of the year. The pool and water park closed early everyday we were there due to storms and we were limited to what we could do as a family due to this. I really did not see the benefit to the VIP access. It is very complicated to navigate throughout the property often we got lost and my aunt is older and would just opt out of going because we would get lost trying to get to restaurants. The food choice is terrible all of the restaurants have the same food. We noticed everyone was ordering food to the resort.

Our stay was great. The condo we had was nice, clean and spacious. The Alfresco market was unbelievably expensive so we tried to limit what we had to purchase from there. The area around the pools could be cleaned better. There was trash and wood chips in the pools.

This resort has been a nightmare. The place is huge, and the elevator by my room only worked about half the time. I’ve had to walk what feels like a quarter mile every time I need to get to a working elevator. The water park elevator is also broken, meaning another half‑mile hike just to get there.The water park was fun, but everything else has been awful. We tried the restaurant — the salmon and Alfredo were so bad they weren’t even edible. For what I paid, I can’t believe how miserable this stay has been. The staff did try to contact me but it was the day we were at the parks. The only fixing this would be to refund part of my stay. Maybe I'll hear from the resort again.
