the room was clean but the balcony door was not working properly. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was good but the restaurant food was excellent. The pool was cold but the hot tub was fine. We were able to walk across the street to the beach which was very nice. There was a live band playing each night. we had a very pleasant and relaxing time. The location and the price was good.

Overall property is average. Beds are very firm and do not have bedspreads - just sheet and light blanket. Rooms also do not have refrigerator or microwave. Recommend booking a room on the first floor, property has no elevators. Our room was on the 3rd floor and my mom doesn’t get around well, so traveling up and down 3 flights of stairs was not suitable. Breakfast, restaurant and bar on site were incredible.

Highly recommended. Access to the beach is a short walk across the street. JUST be forewarned that the bar band is loud if your room is nearby. Rooms not facing the pool area will be much quieter.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt welcomed and attended to. Every single member of staff from front desk personnel, to security, to housekeeper, and down to the breakfast lady were very professional and courteous. The beds were comfy. The view was impeccable. Breakfast was made fresh and very delicious. The resort has 24/7 gated security. There is a boardwalk with easy access to the beach. The pool has rocks you can sit on for great photo ops and the jacuzzi was soothing. There was a security guard which was off duty at the time that we bumped into on the boulevard. He took it upon himself to stop and ensure myself and my two daughters were safe and didn't need anything. That was above and beyond his duties and I wish I would have gotten his name. I didn't ge the opportunity to thank him before we left the hotel, but I am so grateful for him. Thank you so much for an incredible vacation experience!! Laos Mar we will definitely be going back soon. Primeramente Dios.

This property may not be the Hilton, but its super close to the beach, has a great restaurant and bar. Is close to old town and Wrecked at the Reef. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The swimming pool is beautiful and the hot tub is just right, if you feel chilly. The price is right. This is my go to choice in Puerto Penasco!

This hotel has a perfect location, just a few steps from the beach. Delicious complimentary breakfast, however wont be staying here again due to being placed on 3rd floor with no elevator. I had my parents with me and wasnt very fun walking up and down the stairs. The room floor was super dirty. I asked if they would vacuum the room but turned out they didnt have a vacuum they only use brooms on their carpets. Had a dirty towel and dirty pillow. I dont like to complain but its only fair that you know what your paying for before you get there.

The bed topper and the walls were dirty. The bathroom was so dark you had to leave the door open to see. The restaurant was not open. The staff was great, and the property was clean.

First off, the hotel has no elevators so you can load you belongings to the second floor. The hotel is very poorly maintained for what they are charging. The room was not like in the pictures and the room was dirty. They do not dust the fans and the bed blankets are cheap looking bath towel instead of actual blankets. The keys constant are not working for the rooms so you have to go once a day to the lobby to have it reprogrammed.

Definitely not what i expected i stayed two nights the room was not clean after the first night which means no clean towels or extra soap and even toilet paper which was really disappointed on that part. Breakfast was average. The stuff was ok not rude but not nice either. Had problems with the key since arrival. Had to go back on forth to the lobby to get the key fix allll my stayed. However angel from front desk was the most nice person in that place even over the phone before i arrived to mexico had several questions and was always a great help. Not bad but kind of disappointed overall.

I paid extra for ocean view. Our room was rather dirty, the sheets were clean. Huge dust balls on ceiling fan, but apparently it's cool to just paint over the mold in the ceiling? Staff excellent, the restaurant was absolutely terrific and had some amazing dishes. Not what I expected for near $200 night all in price, especially in the off season.

This hotel is rated as a 4⭐️ hotel, I would say it’s closer to 3. It was horrible but definitely wasn’t a 4 star. They say they have free WiFi but whenever I asked the staff for help on it because it never showed up on my phone or laptop they didn’t help. Also had to ask twice for help in my bathroom because the toilet was making constant noise and I would get locked out of it. The water in the shower was good but the pressure would randomly change to a lot of pressure to less while showering. The pool looked dirty. The beds are clean but very hard. I liked costa elegante much better. The good things were that it is pretty close to Playa Bonita (playa Bonita resort is much closer though) and it does have free breakfast which had a good selection and changed daily. This is good if you don’t drive there because there’s no walkable restaurants near by without taking a taxi. There was a young man who was helpful, the other staff was not.

I paid for the “newer bigger room” and the AC did not work. I called front desk and they already knew, they said they couldn’t fix it. I was asked if I could be placed in their smaller room with Ac, but at the same price. The room was old and carpet was dirty. Not staying there again

Hotel was maybe a 2 star hotel...definitely not a 4...they dont tell you that there is a bar attached to the hotel with love music every nite from 9pm to 2am to 3am...it was so loud, you can clearly hear the lyrics in your room. We were in room 236. Also, the "ocean view" is 3 blocks away...not worth the upgrade

Very nice stay, a couple of small issues but the staff addressed and fixed them immediately. Continental breakfast was good but the staff made it great. They met you with a smile and friendly attitude as did all the other staff. The highlight was the on premises restaurant, Tapeo-a tapas n wine, was excellent. In 9 days we ate there almost every not the were open.

Great place! We booked very last minute and the prices were good! Staff was very nice! I only have 2 complaints.... the 1st is that the walls are paper thin and i could hear everything in the hallway and rooms next to us. Second is that the complimentary breakfast was not it. The served eggs and beans.... the eggs wete supposed to be sausage eggs but i guess they ran out and just served plain eggs. .. housekeeping was amazing, they cleaned out room daily.

This is a little unassuming gem that I’ve stayed at twice, just wish it had a mini fridge. Clean and super close to beach using the walk path. I like the breakfast that’s included, worth an easy $12-15 somewhere else! Staff is friendly and the live music at Tapeo next door is nice! Grounds are clean. Great for a couple nights stay. If you don’t want to pay condo prices, check this place out. The beds are comfy too, more on firm side but work for me and I’ve got all kinds of aches!
