The property was nice, it does need some fixing around the pathway walk to the buildings, also the pool needs to be resurfaced many cracks inside the pool. Our first room was nice until we heard a loud cracking noise and it was a fused which left half of the room with no lights. They came to fixed it within 20 min. The cleaness of the room was good except for limited towels and ripped, no extra toilet paper either. I am sorry to say but half of the staff looked miserable at their job, some of them were not approachable. One of the pool guys very nice and attentive. The entertainment crew were awesome! The guys are the bar not very friendly or smiling. Second time coming to this resort within 6 years and I would definitely look at other resorts for different experience.

To start, if you can, try to book and pay here online in advance. If you pay at the resort, they’ll “convert” your dollars just to charge you in dollars again — which makes no sense. Because of that, our room ended up much more expensive. My two-night reservation was supposed to be $320, but I ended up paying around $623.80 at the front desk only for 2 people. To continue, we were a family of 6 adults and 2 little girls, and honestly, the resort left us with mixed feelings. The negatives: The facilities were very basic, nothing impressive. The staff at the beach bar often seemed in a bad mood. The power went out the very first night we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t cool properly. All four rooms we booked had a strong musty, moldy smell. The food was average at best, with little variety or quality. The Mexican restaurant was a big disappointment — the food was terrible. The sports bar near the reception needs urgent attention; the rotten smell there is alarming. The positives: The staff at the El Pilón buffet restaurant were very kind and attentive. The pools were pleasant and clean. The beach was well maintained. The DJ and nightly shows were fantastic — fun, lively, and well organized. Overall, it’s not a resort I would recommend 100%. The maintenance and service issues outweighed the good moments, though I do appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant staff and the great entertainment at night.

The gardens/landscaping were well kept and beautiful, however, there were several areas with broken/cracked tiles in the common walkways and by the pools. My family enjoyed the wildlife and walking through the mangroves on our way to and from the lobby area! The room was comfortable with 2 separate sleeping areas including bunk beds and a king bed and 2 bathrooms. Housekeeping did a great job making sure the room was clean, however we had consistent issues getting clean towels and face cloths. The buffet seating is all open air/outdoors and there are a lot of birds that fly around the tables, often leaving behind droppings on the seats and even tables/placemats. We were always very cautious to check and make sure the table and seats were clean of bird poop before sitting. The buffet food was average at best, and the 4 a la cart restaurants we managed to get reservations for were good not great. This is not the resort for you if you're looking for exceptional fine dining, but we always found something to eat, even our picky 12 year old. We did thoroughly enjoy the coffee shop and ice cream shop. The staff was always so welcoming, the pastry selections were delicious, and the coffee drinks were amazing! Overall, we had a relaxing week away and feel it was on point as to what we paid to stay there.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful—everywhere you turn feels like a perfect photo op. The grounds are very well kept, with staff constantly working to keep everything spotless and in top shape. We stayed in a family room, which was perfect with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A few outlets didn’t work, but we worked around it no problem. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. No matter where you were on the property, someone was nearby and ready to assist. The resort is large, but there’s a convenient trolley system that runs regularly if you don’t feel like walking. There’s also a great mix of activities for all ages. The kids loved the mini water park, and there’s a kids club for the littles and mini golf on-site as well. The beach is just steps away and absolutely beautiful. We also loved seeing the animals around the resort—iguanas, flamingos, and ducks roaming the grounds made it even more special, especially for the kids. The biggest downside was the food. On our first night, we didn’t realize you need to make reservations for the restaurants in advance and ended up at the sports bar—which, unfortunately, was a letdown. Thankfully, we were able to book the rest of our meals for the trip. The buffet was the most consistent, with lots of variety. The fresh fruit our favorite part. Overall, 7/10 The property is stunning, the service was excellent, and there was always something to do. If the food had been better, it would have been a near-perfect vacation.

Room was very clean and spacious but it only had one trash can and it was in the bathroom. There was no light in the hallway where our room was so it was hard to unlock the door with our bracelet. View was not great from the balcony. It was very quiet. It was a great place to chill and relax. Loved seeing all the birds, turtles, iguanas while going to our room. Train was such a useful thing that this resort has. To sum it up it was a nice vacation.

O resort oferece diferentes tipos de unidades habitacionais. Caso opte pela categoria mais simples, você ficará hospedado no lado direito do complexo, mais próximo da piscina principal. As três piscinas são excelentes, porém a principal costuma ficar bastante cheia devido ao bar molhado que atrai muitos hóspedes.As bebidas oferecidas no sistema all inclusive são de baixa qualidade, o que compromete consideravelmente a experiência gustativa. A alimentação é farta, mas é bastante difícil conseguir reservar os restaurantes exclusivos. No restaurante tipo buffet, a experiência também deixa a desejar: está sempre lotado, é necessário "guardar" uma mesa com antecedência e a variedade de pratos é limitada. Os alimentos se assemelham a comida industrial, sem sabor, sem cor e sem aroma. No café da manhã, há opções como omeletes e diversos doces, mas, no geral, todos são bastante sem graça. A praia em frente ao resort apresenta grande acúmulo de sargaço, e o local não realiza nenhum tipo de limpeza ou manutenção da faixa litorânea. Isso gera frustração, especialmente para quem viaja ao Caribe esperando encontrar aquele típico mar azul cristalino. O ponto alto da hospedagem é a cafeteria localizada próxima à recepção, que serve capuccinos, cafés expressos, frappuccinos e outras bebidas geladas — todas de boa qualidade. Sair de Uber do resort é bastante complicado, pois é necessário caminhar até a rua para conseguir embarcar, e somente a categoria Uber Black está disponível. E caríssima!

Everything is in new condition, nicely decorated. The nature walk to the lobby is full of wildlife( iguanas, ducks, peacocks, flamingo, turtles). Pools are good, some need some more shade and steps. Buffet is ok, restaurants have good food. Loved the ice cream and coffee shops. Beach has beautiful white sand, clean, no seaweed!

This hotel has a beautiful white sand beach. Unfortunately, we came there during seaweed season and despite a huge effort from staff to clean it up, we could not enjoy the sea. We compensated it with enjoying the swimming pools. There’s a nice area with slides for kids. Our room was nice and big. However, our first impression was really bad. We arrived around 4pm. The sheets of 2 of the 4 beds were not changed & no pillowcases on any pillows. One pillow smelled SO stinky. The floor was absolutely disgusting. The staff cleaned and changed everything that needed to be done. We traveled with 8 years old twins & they were looking forward to it. But the kids club on this resort is a big joke. The only entertainment there was TV. However, entertainment for adults was great. Our kids could participate in some of it. It was hard to find someone who spoke basic English, which is understandable because the majority of their customers were locals.If you leave your towel on a pool chair and go for lunch, you will see couple people sitting on it when you come back. We booked restaurants for 4 dinners but gave up after second visit. The buffet service was so slow & the quality of food was inconsistent. Huge lines for pasta and meat. Constant problems with plates. In the dining area, you would be lucky to get fully served table. If not, it will be hard to get a cap or glass.There’s only couple good trained staff. And one of them and the best is Paulino. I will not come back on that resort.

Beach was beautiful! But people were allowed to leave their towels all day to save chairs. Hotel was clean and staff was seen mopping and wiping all day. The staff make this hotel what it is. Everyone was so attentive! And except for directly at the bar the service was fast. The reason this hotel is a 7.5 out of 10 for us was the food. Three of the five included restaurants were closed. No explanation just closed. The other two were booked solid until late night the last night. The buffet was always available but the options were the same lunch and dinner every day. There would be one or two items new but the majority was the same. Also if you like seafood, this hotel only does fish and calamari and sometimes shrimp. Beach was beautiful! But people were allowed to leave their towels all day to save chairs. Hotel was clean and staff was seen mopping and wiping all day. The staff make this hotel what it is. Everyone was so attentive! And except for directly at the bar the service was fast. The reason this hotel is a 7.5 out of 10 for us was the food. Three of the five included restaurants were closed. No explanation just closed. The other two were booked solid until late night the last night. The buffet was always available but the options were the same lunch and dinner every day. There would be one or two items new but the majority was the same. Also if you like seafood, this hotel only does fish and calamari and sometimes shrimp. No crab, lobster, oysters etc. The staff and beach made this trip for us. We arrived to the room with one hand towel and a floor mat. That's the total towels in two bathrooms. We contacted the staff via phone, in person, etc. FIVE times. Talked to the front desk, the room cleaning staff, it didn't matter. It took 18 hours to get a bath sized towel to take a shower with. This is an all inclusinve that can't figure out how to do something as simple as proving towels. I will never come back to this resort, or this island. The resort wasn't going to recover from that.

We loved our stay at the Tropical Deluxe Princess. The resort is beautiful with lots of wildlife and greenery as well as a beautiful beach. The cleanliness was excellent and the food was also very very good. The Italian restaurant was our personal favourite. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a quite vacation and likes to stay on resort as there are lots to do on the grounds.

The gardens/landscaping were well kept and beautiful, however, there were several areas with broken/cracked tiles in the common walkways and by the pools. My family enjoyed the wildlife and walking through the mangroves on our way to and from the lobby area! The room was comfortable with 2 separate sleeping areas including bunk beds and a king bed and 2 bathrooms. Housekeeping did a great job making sure the room was clean, however we had consistent issues getting clean towels and face cloths. The buffet seating is all open air/outdoors and there are a lot of birds that fly around the tables, often leaving behind droppings on the seats and even tables/placemats. We were always very cautious to check and make sure the table and seats were clean of bird poop before sitting. The buffet food was average at best, and the 4 a la cart restaurants we managed to get reservations for were good not great. This is not the resort for you if you're looking for exceptional fine dining, but we always found something to eat, even our picky 12 year old. We did thoroughly enjoy the coffee shop and ice cream shop. The staff was always so welcoming, the pastry selections were delicious, and the coffee drinks were amazing! Overall, we had a relaxing week away and feel it was on point as to what we paid to stay there.

I loved the mangroves with the ducks, iguanas, and all sorts of other birds. They were the saving grace of this property that was falling apart. So many tiles were missing from the walkways. Definite trip hazard. Especially when it rained. Btw, this is NOT a smoke free property. People were smoking everywhere which was very challenging for the asthmatics in my party. It’s hard to enjoy nature when you can’t breathe. The food was hit or miss but the waitstaff was generally fantastic especially a gentleman named Frank. He made the meals more enjoyable. Very hardworking people. The coffee shop was great with the exception of one young girl, didn’t catch her name, who was too sassy and made fun of the guests. Clearly, she didn’t appreciate her job or realize that it’s thanks to guests that she has a job. All the other workers at the coffee shop were lovely especially the gentleman that was kind and made the best coffee. We were told that there were shows every night. But the first night we went, there wasn’t. We did get to see an acrobatic show the next night which was impressive. The only show time was 9pm which was a bit late for our party. I understand that a contributing factor why they did that was to make sure every guest had dinner which is appreciated but having two show times such as 7 & 9, like in cruise ships, would’ve been better. Overall, we made the best of it but we’re definitely not going back. If you can afford to pay a little more, go somewhere else.

To start, if you can, try to book and pay here online in advance. If you pay at the resort, they’ll “convert” your dollars just to charge you in dollars again — which makes no sense. Because of that, our room ended up much more expensive. My two-night reservation was supposed to be $320, but I ended up paying around $623.80 at the front desk only for 2 people. To continue, we were a family of 6 adults and 2 little girls, and honestly, the resort left us with mixed feelings. The negatives: The facilities were very basic, nothing impressive. The staff at the beach bar often seemed in a bad mood. The power went out the very first night we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t cool properly. All four rooms we booked had a strong musty, moldy smell. The food was average at best, with little variety or quality. The Mexican restaurant was a big disappointment — the food was terrible. The sports bar near the reception needs urgent attention; the rotten smell there is alarming. The positives: The staff at the El Pilón buffet restaurant were very kind and attentive. The pools were pleasant and clean. The beach was well maintained. The DJ and nightly shows were fantastic — fun, lively, and well organized. Overall, it’s not a resort I would recommend 100%. Room was very clean and spacious but it only had one trash can and it was in the bathroom. There was no light in the hallway where our room was so it was hard to unlock the door with our bracelet. View was not great from the balcony. It was very quiet. It was a great place to chill and relax. Loved seeing all the birds, turtles, iguanas while going to our room. The air conditioning in the room was extremely loud and was deafening. Hotel staff who clean the room had to know how loud. I stayed at this resort about 10 times in the last 4 years. Front desk dismissed my concern. Other issue resort does not allow my uber to pick me up at the entrance door. I must walk to the end of resort to get my uber. When brought up to front desk was told policy. But my uber was able to drop me at the front when I arrived. Why inconvenience your guest to walk to front on the heat with luggage when leaving?

Check in was a breeze! The desk staff were great. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained. Unfortunately the smell at times was really bad. And it was never in the same location. The path from the lobby to the guest rooms/main areas is beautiful! Birds, turtles, fish and iguanans along with all the gorgeous plants. Its a marshy area so it had an unpleasant odor as well. The family room was spacious.The showers were always hot. The linens were terrible! The beach is gorgeous and clean!The sand all the way out to the water was so soft! We have stayed at many all inclusives all over the Caribbean and Mexico and this was probably the most difficult place for communication. There are salesman trying to sell vacation packages. One in particular was very pushy and actually rude when we told him we werent interested. His name was Joan. The food was below average. The Brazilian restaurant was the worst restaurant experience we've ever had. Theres no explanation of what to expect. You sit and wait. We had to ask for food several times, even though the tables around us were served, and we were in the middle of the room! And the food was bad! The meat was dry and overcooked. We actually left mid meal!Poor cuts/quality of meat throughout the resort. There were plently of fresh fruits and veggies. Some of the dishes in the buffet were ok but nothing was great.

If you have any issues with your room good luck !!! We called 3-4 times, spoke to few managers. Finally I had to go and yelled at some manager , still wait a day to fix doors. I chose this property based on the reviews and the fact that the facility advertises four restaurants. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I stayed for one night only and arrived around 5:00 PM. I was informed that I could only eat at the buffet because restaurant reservations require 24 hours’ notice, even though the restaurants were visibly empty. The buffet food was very poor and far below expectations for a property at this price point. The room was booked for five people, but when we arrived it was not properly prepared. I requested the extra bed for the 5th guess, which was delivered, but no blankets or pillows were provided. I called housekeeping and was told they would bring them “in a few minutes.” After more than an hour, no one arrived. I called again and received the same response. Once again, no one came. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone entirely. As a result, we had no blankets or pillows for the kids bed and were forced to sleep four people in the same bed, which is unacceptable. Considering we paid $500 per night, this level of service, food quality, and lack of basic follow-through is completely unreasonable. This stay did not come close to matching the expectations set by the reviews or the price, and I am seeking appropriate compensation for this experience.

The resort is beautiful, but the service was terrible, staff appeared to be disgruntled and annoyed when asked for assistance. It happened so often that I can only assume something is going on behind the scenes with management. The housekeeper would remove the towels from the room and would take an enternity to replace, some of my relatives resorted to using the beach towels to shower. The hotel has several restaurants to dine in, but good luck getting a reservation, everything was booked upon arrival. The entertainment was okay, and their staff is very friendly, however, they've been tasked to secure positive reviews after their show. They'll even write it up for you as they did to several of my family members who only asked for the WiFi in order to write their own reviews. One guy who was always great was Enrique from the pool bar, made good drinks and kept hyping us up with his positive attitude. I enjoyed the buffet food, especially the Dominican food, the deserts were amazing, but be prepared for long lines for grilled meats or fish and good luck getting your drink order before you finish your meal. It definitely has potential, the grounds are a bird watchers dream, and so many other fauna. I can only guess the issues have more to do with poor management, that unfortunately the paying customer has to suffer the consequences.

Had a great time at the resort. Pros: Great entertainment. Entertainers at the pool and theater deserve a raise. They're great. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Buffet food and drinks were good. Concierge and front desk are very attentive. Transportation with luggage when you leave is fast and efficient. When arriving all your luggage is taken care of and handled. Cons: Repairs need to be done in certain areas of the resort including the pool floor. Scraped my toe twice. Gym equipment should be maintained. Italian restaurant food was not good. Room service delivered the wrong food. Waiter around 11:30pm in the sports bar is not good. He's not attentive at all. Also resort should have more English speaking staff to assist non-speaking English staff. Beef in buffet and FOGO gave me bad diarrhea. Other than that I had a great time. But there are some improvements which can make the resort even better.

Our trip was a nightmare. First, you can’t make a reservation for most of the on-site restaurants until 3 days prior. But you have to be there to do so. Those restaurants were underwhelming at best. There is a 24-hour sports bar. Just skip it. The food was awful. A chicken wing was actually a soggy chicken spine fried and dipped in a curry sauce. There is a buffet and it was a mixed bag. Avoid the burgers, stick with any Dominican dishes, fresh fruit. We were there at a time when there was a lot of seaweed washing up on the beach. When that seaweed bakes in the sun it is awful. Multiple times we asked for extra towels. At best, it took three hours to get them. At worst, eleven hours. If you do not speak fluent Spanish, you will have issues. Either the staff will not tell you things or they will refuse to help you. When the bellhop refuses to come because “I no speak English” and then hangs up, the service is clearly lacking. Our room was small but nice. Except for the smell of mold. It caused my wife to get sick every night of our stay. By the time the resort was willing to let us change rooms, we decided to leave — four days early. Nice things? Wild animals roaming the property. The pools are nice but crowded. The drinks at the pool bars are excellent.

The WiFi was horrible. The food was absolutely disgusting. The drinks were pretty good. The staff were nice. Went to the sports bar. Nobody took my order for almost 15 minutes. Never staying at this resort again. A complete waste of money.

It was overall good. In August 2025, I noticed it was decently full but not overcrowded. It should be noted that there is a record amount of seaweed in that area, so the beach was disappointing. The seaweed was so bad that no one was cleaning it off, besides a tractor barely making progress at the princess hotel down the beach. I’d recommend checking the condition of the beach before booking.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful—everywhere you turn feels like a perfect photo op. The grounds are very well kept, with staff constantly working to keep everything spotless and in top shape. We stayed in a family room, which was perfect with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A few outlets didn’t work, but we worked around it no problem. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. No matter where you were on the property, someone was nearby and ready to assist. The resort is large, but there’s a convenient trolley system that runs regularly if you don’t feel like walking. There’s also a great mix of activities for all ages. The kids loved the mini water park, and there’s a kids club for the littles and mini golf on-site as well. The beach is just steps away and absolutely beautiful. We also loved seeing the animals around the resort—iguanas, flamingos, and ducks roaming the grounds made it even more special, especially for the kids. The biggest downside was the food. On our first night, we didn’t realize you need to make reservations for the restaurants in advance and ended up at the sports bar—which, unfortunately, was a letdown. Thankfully, we were able to book the rest of our meals for the trip. The buffet was the most consistent, with lots of variety. The fresh fruit our favorite part. Overall, 7/10 The property is stunning, the service was excellent, and there was always something to do. If the food had been better, it would have been a near-perfect vacation.

Nice spacious location. Not far from the airport. Great staff overall from the front desk to the animation team. Enjoy the night show (Saturday night Micheal Jackson themed, amazing performers), beach party Sunday night. Buffet options are good considering, reserved 2 restaurants, Brazilian (fogo sytle) and Asian (hibachi), which were both a great experience. Process to reserve the restaurants was quick and easy. Had a problem with the plumbing the second night and was swiftly accommodated with another room. Pool side animation, drinks, cappuccino cafe, ice cream parlor, sports bar and everything was very good for the price.

Room was very clean and spacious but it only had one trash can and it was in the bathroom. There was no light in the hallway where our room was so it was hard to unlock the door with our bracelet. View was not great from the balcony. It was very quiet. It was a great place to chill and relax. Loved seeing all the birds, turtles, iguanas while going to our room. Train was such a useful thing that this resort has. To sum it up it was a nice vacation.

Everything is in new condition, nicely decorated. The nature walk to the lobby is full of wildlife( iguanas, ducks, peacocks, flamingo, turtles). Pools are good, some need some more shade and steps. Buffet is ok, restaurants have good food. Loved the ice cream and coffee shops. Beach has beautiful white sand, clean, no seaweed!

The dining areas are very limited in what they serve. It was the same food every day of the week and quality of the food was poor. The only specialty restaurant that was worth dining in was the Dominican one. Bar staff was rude. Bypassing anyone not speaking spanish. Drink options were few for an all inclusive resort. They definitely need service training.

The property is really nice and well kept. Rooms are comfortable. However HUGE disappointment with dining options. All restaurants require reservations besides fhe buffet. NOTHING was available to book on the app for another 2-3 days for ALL restaurants. That is terrible. I was unable to dine anywhere else but the buffet with my family for the 3 days we visited. The check in took a really long time also. Staff was talking amongst themselves. Drink were watered down. To travel around you need the golf carts and the wait time was ridiculous since the resort was crowded. I was expecting so much more from this resort.

Beach was beautiful! But people were allowed to leave their towels all day to save chairs. Hotel was clean and staff was seen mopping and wiping all day. The staff make this hotel what it is. Everyone was so attentive! And except for directly at the bar the service was fast. The reason this hotel is a 7.5 out of 10 for us was the food. Three of the five included restaurants were closed. No explanation just closed. The other two were booked solid until late night the last night. The buffet was always available but the options were the same lunch and dinner every day. There would be one or two items new but the majority was the same. Also if you like seafood, this hotel only does fish and calamari and sometimes shrimp. No crab, lobster, oysters etc. The staff and beach made this trip for us. Although tipping is optional everyone should tip the staff as much as they can because they work incredibly hard to make sure you’re having a good time!

To start, if you can, try to book and pay here online in advance. If you pay at the resort, they’ll “convert” your dollars just to charge you in dollars again — which makes no sense. Because of that, our room ended up much more expensive. My two-night reservation was supposed to be $320, but I ended up paying around $623.80 at the front desk only for 2 people. To continue, we were a family of 6 adults and 2 little girls, and honestly, the resort left us with mixed feelings. The negatives: The facilities were very basic, nothing impressive. The staff at the beach bar often seemed in a bad mood. The power went out the very first night we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t cool properly. All four rooms we booked had a strong musty, moldy smell. The food was average at best, with little variety or quality. The Mexican restaurant was a big disappointment — the food was terrible. The sports bar near the reception needs urgent attention; the rotten smell there is alarming. The positives: The staff at the El Pilón buffet restaurant were very kind and attentive. The pools were pleasant and clean. The beach was well maintained. The DJ and nightly shows were fantastic — fun, lively, and well organized. Overall, it’s not a resort I would recommend 100%. The maintenance and service issues outweighed the good moments, though I do appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant staff and the great entertainment at night.

I chose this property based on the reviews and the fact that the facility advertises four restaurants. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I stayed for one night only and arrived around 5:00 PM. I was informed that I could only eat at the buffet because restaurant reservations require 24 hours’ notice, even though the restaurants were visibly empty. The buffet food was very poor and far below expectations for a property at this price point. The room was booked for five people, but when we arrived it was not properly prepared. I requested the extra bed for the 5th guess, which was delivered, but no blankets or pillows were provided. I called housekeeping and was told they would bring them “in a few minutes.” After more than an hour, no one arrived. I called again and received the same response. Once again, no one came. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone entirely. As a result, we had no blankets or pillows for the kids bed and were forced to sleep four people in the same bed, which is unacceptable. Considering we paid $500 per night, this level of service, food quality, and lack of basic follow-through is completely unreasonable. This stay did not come close to matching the expectations set by the reviews or the price, and I am seeking appropriate compensation for this experience.

The gardens/landscaping were well kept and beautiful, however, there were several areas with broken/cracked tiles in the common walkways and by the pools. My family enjoyed the wildlife and walking through the mangroves on our way to and from the lobby area! The room was comfortable with 2 separate sleeping areas including bunk beds and a king bed and 2 bathrooms. Housekeeping did a great job making sure the room was clean, however we had consistent issues getting clean towels and face cloths. The buffet seating is all open air/outdoors and there are a lot of birds that fly around the tables, often leaving behind droppings on the seats and even tables/placemats. We were always very cautious to check and make sure the table and seats were clean of bird poop before sitting. The buffet food was average at best, and the 4 a la cart restaurants we managed to get reservations for were good not great. This is not the resort for you if you're looking for exceptional fine dining, but we always found something to eat, even our picky 12 year old. We did thoroughly enjoy the coffee shop and ice cream shop. The staff was always so welcoming, the pastry selections were delicious, and the coffee drinks were amazing! Overall, we had a relaxing week away and feel it was on point as to what we paid to stay there.

The resort is beautiful just like its name “Tropical deluxe” but the food quality has to be improved. Comparing to other resorts I had been stayed in Punta Cana, the food here is the worst. Other than that, my overall experience in this resort was great. And the best part was there is no upselling, or pressuring us to go for time sharing.

Had a great time at the resort. Pros: Great entertainment. Entertainers at the pool and theater deserve a raise. They're great. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Buffet food and drinks were good. Concierge and front desk are very attentive. Transportation with luggage when you leave is fast and efficient. When arriving all your luggage is taken care of and handled. Cons: Repairs need to be done in certain areas of the resort including the pool floor. Scraped my toe twice. Gym equipment should be maintained. Italian restaurant food was not good. Room service delivered the wrong food. Waiter around 11:30pm in the sports bar is not good. He's not attentive at all. Also resort should have more English speaking staff to assist non-speaking English staff. Beef in buffet and FOGO gave me bad diarrhea. Other than that I had a great time. But there are some improvements which can make the resort even better.

The WiFi was horrible. The food was absolutely disgusting. The drinks were pretty good. The staff were nice. Went to the sports bar. Nobody took my order for almost 15 minutes. Never staying at this resort again. A complete waste of money.
