Dreams Flora Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Gut ausgestattetes Hotel-Ressort mit Zimmern, in denen alles funktionierte. Zahlreiche Pools, Bars, Wasserpark und Gym vorhanden. Eigener Strandabschnitt sehr schön. Personal insgesamt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kulinarisch einige Abstriche. Alles sehr amerikanisch, d.h. Fleisch und Fisch zumeist totgebraten, Gemüse dafür eher roh. Und beim Service kann man im absoluten Hochpreissegment vielleicht auch noch etwas mehr erwarten.

Show at night time was much better than other resorts I stayed at. Staff were all nice and food was good.

This hotel is so well done. Unlike many of the hotels in Punta Cana, they have thought about their surroundings, making sure to fill the property with trees and plants. The pools look natural, no straight edges and green tiles to give a natural look. Lots of restaurant choices and waterpark ideal for children. Unfortunately (as with a lot of Caribbean beaches these days) the seaweed is a problem - there was a lot and it means you don’t get that azul blue sea colour. So check what it’s like at your time of year. They do a good job but it’s a thankless task. In short, the hotel is fantastic (one of the best we’ve stayed), but if the beach is a priority I’d suggest checking the south of the island (Bayahibe or La Romana).

Rooms are a little bit too small for a 4 person room, with both beds being full size only.. but we made it work. Pools are great. Water slides are great! Beach is terrible due to sargassum. Food is good. The resort did a good job with making different themed buffet around the pool so there’s something different everyday. Staffs are great! We didn’t book the preferred club but we still have staff coming up to us to take our drink orders by the pool and beach. They are constantly cleaning up around the pool also. Just keep in mind long pants are required for men for the French restaurant! And hibachi is the only restaurant that requires reservations and you won’t miss anything if you skip it. And morning yoga class is amazing!

The pools were awesome

This was an amazing property, and we had a great stay. The resort is the perfect size with everything being within a short 5 minute walk. The pools were very nice and large, and the beach was beautiful and well maintained. The staff here go above and beyond and ensured that we had a great stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anybody looking for a nice vacation.

I have been to Punta Cana about 16 times and this is one of the best resorts. The food is excellent. Not one bad meal. Staff are very friendly. Great water park for children. Rooms were well maintained and just the right size. We loved the beach and lots of loungers at any time of day. Can’t say one bad thing about this place. We will go back. A very positive experience for the whole family. Thanks Dreams Flora for making our vacation a step above all the rest.

This is a gorgeous all inclusive. I really loved this property. This is a family friendly resort. The food is good, and there are selections the kids will eat. 4 swim up bars and lots for the kids to do, including a small water park, arcade and kids area. This gives time for the parents to go out to a beautiful dinner at one of the many restaurants on the resort.

Service is excellent. The resort is beautiful the only inconvenience I saw was that it was very hard to find seats around pool area most of the time it was all full and no where to sit/ place your stuff

Resort is nice and very clean. Eco friendly. Stuff is very nice. Resort is more on relaxing side. We were not impressed with food (mostly the same evey day and mediocre) and not much of entertainment like in other resorts that we stood before. Nothing to do after 11 pm. Overall is nice place if you want to relax and have some rest.

Poor housekeeping

The worst trip we ever had was to Dominican republic because we chose to stay in this hotel. I did not have time to submit this review. But would like to share the experience. It was a seaweed season and stepping out of the car it smelled like spoiled eggs so much. The ocean was just black color. it was a discounted purchase and hotels close by did not have same condition as we found out later by traveling. i wish we would just move in the beginning after arrival. Staff kept telling us that it was everywhere which clearly wasn't the case. They should have notified tourist when making reservation that property is in such bad condition with the seaweed, there should be a disclaimer. We traveled almost 24 hours with a small child and me being pregnant. I would never do this trip otherwise. i feel that it was very unfair. Food was all oily , not even a fresh salad, everything fried I barely ate for 10 days. Kids zone had nothing but 2 broken slides overheated in a sun surrounded by flies. There are way better hotels for the same money. hard rock costed exactly the same and it's not even comparable. Also swimming pools were nasty dirty. Since ocean wasn't available for the swim, all the guest were at the pools, which by the way close after 7 pm or so. First night we went to swim and found out water was full of chemicals for the night. It was way early in the evening. There isn't much entertainment plus the pool was closing early. Swim suites were black after the pool every time.

It was an okay resort. Most of the staff was very kind however, we met a few that was rude and snarky. The toilets near the restaurants were dirty. It was not cleaned very often. The shower in our room

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property grounds were well kept and beautiful floral. The room was extremely clean and housekeeping came multiple time a day; Once to clean the room and once before bed to turn down the bedding.

Overall is good, clean and very friendly staff, but the AC should have the option to go below 21C, shower area should have curtain or a blind class door so you can close it and have privacy you need specialy when you go there with family and have kids. And the sea water is dark brown from seaweed and not clear blue like you see from resort pictures.

This was our second time staying at Dreams Flora, and we came back because we loved it so much the first time. I would definitely consider returning again in the future. I really appreciate that the resort is on the smaller side—it’s very clean, the food is great, the landscaping is beautiful, and the staff is absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful stay overall. The only downside was our experience with room service. The app wouldn’t let us place an order, and when we called the front desk, we were transferred to the room service line, but no one picked up. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room stopped working properly on our last night, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep. Since it was so late and our departure was the next morning, we didn’t report it. It seemed like there might have been a broader A/C issue, as the air conditioning at the disco wasn’t working either when we visited—it was extremely hot. Fortunately, several of us mentioned it to security, and they had it resolved quickly. When booking with Expedia keep in mind you do get Preferred access. We didn’t get it until we asked about it.

Food was decent but found the hotel lacking cleaningness. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room two days in a row. Other than that everyone very friendly

Had a blast. Resort was clean

Loved: staff is incredible, pool (warm), many restaurants and bars. Didn’t like: rooms not soundproofed, you can hear conversations from the other rooms (or other noises), and from the hall. May be difficult to sleep. Also, our room was not ready until 4 pm, and they didn’t seem too worried about it (we arrived at 2 pm, check in is 3 pm).

the property was great i enjoyed everyday being there, what i did not like is the 8 mosquitoes in my room the 4 days i was there.

The hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. Food was also good, with several options in their main restaurant ( buffet style) and their special restaurant. Great entertainment at night and several pools to enjoy. Hotel was having problems with their electrical power, in two of our five nights we had not AC ( they couldn’t move us because hotel was at capacity). Room was in the small side, they gave us a corner room that had no separation between the room and the shower, this was a huge inconvenience for privacy reasons.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit viel Natur, ruhigeren und lauteren Pools, schönem Rutschpark. Schöner, sauberer Strand (bis zum Wasser, dort leider bei uns viele Algen). Aufmerksames Personal und gute Qualität des Essens, sowohl im Buffet- als auch den a la carte Restaurants. Alles in sehr gutem und gepflegtem Zustand (Eröffnung war erst Anfang 2023). Für uns eine super Idee: Jedem (preferred) Gast wird ein persönlicher Ansprechpartner ("Butler") zugewiesen, der sich vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out um alle Anfragen etc. kümmert. Dieser gibt einem seine Whatsapp-Nummer und ist jederzeit bei Fragen und Problemen erreichbar und kümmert sich um die Lösung. In unserem Fall bspw. um den Zimmerwechsel nach einem Tag (da Zimmer zu nah am Theater - mit Kindern wegen Lärm nicht zu empfehlen). Unser "Butler" war Atanasio, der sich um alle Anfragen super gekümmert hat und uns regelmäßig über den Weg lief und sich bei uns erkundigt hat, ob wir etwas benötigen. Daher nochmal vielen Dank an Atanasio sowie an den sehr freundlichen Edward (Gepäck) und Julio (an der Omelette-Station).

Food was ok. Room was excellent. Overall 5 star property. The only thing annoying was a bad odor coming from ocean seaweeds.

Overall very enjoyable stay. Food was good but not spectacular. Check-in process was a bit disorganized but rooms and resort were very nice. Biggest issue was lots of mosquitoes in the room in spite of staff spraying room twice during stay.Shout out to Jensy, Alberto and Anabel at the preferred adult pool for great service and drinks. Also Oscar was as our butler, alway greeted us with a smile and personally touched base with us at least once a day to see if we needed anything. Beach was beautiful and the water was nice. With some kinks worked out, resort will be amazing.

This property is amazing and the preferred club swim up to rooms were perfect. Our butler Emilio was excellent and went above and beyond for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday by surprising him with a cake and bottle of bubbles in our room. I would totally recommend him. All the staff are excellent.

This was my first all inclusive trip and it was Amazing! The staff are all amazing and consistent with their customer service. They made it feel like home away from home. The food was delicious and fresh so many options. I would 100% recommend this hotel for families, partners and friends. Will definitely be back thank you so much Dreams Flora!

We intentionally don’t tell resorts we are travel bloggers!! If money is spent on preferred accommodations there should be equity in treatment. For the first time we stayed at a resort where day after day we were either denied prompt service or not served at all. It was to the point whereas white families began to comment. Let’s not forget continuously being asked our room number after watching as other preferred members did not deal with this constant inquiry. We would never stay here again.

Lovely resort! Perfect place to get away. The staff was so attentive to our every need. Super clean. Great choices for breakfast, lunch, and diner. The bartenders at the pool were so friendly and made for a great time. I can’t wait to go back!!

Dreams Flora far exceeded our expectations. We don't usually do all-inclusive resorts, but this one really worked out well. The food was very good, from the breakfast buffet to the other dining options, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was the friendliest resort staff that we have ever encountered. Very helpful and willing to go above and beyond for anything that we needed. We would absolutely stay here again, and actually are planning on it in the future.

We just completed a 7 day vacation at the property. Overall it is a great property with good food and great service. Johan, our concierge, was excellent and made us feel at home. We also took the snorkeling trip with Sea Pro. Alfredo, JJ, and John provided an excellent and fun trip.

Fray the check in receptionist was on point, my wife and myself arrived early at the Resort and the room that we paid for was a deluxe room and it was not ready I mentioned to Fray that it was my wife birthday he upgraded us to preferred Status and gave us a swim up room at no additional cost and that category room comes with a butler that provides service for every aspect of your needs at the resort. Our butler was Will he did a great job for us he set up a special dinner for my wife birthday at one of the specialty restaurants and they provided a delicious birthday cake and sing happy birthday to my wife.Will helped us with every aspect of our stay at the resort every time I called on him he responded and what ever the request was he made it happen . We ate at the buffet most of the time the food was good however more Variety of seafood would be nice thanks for a great vacation

Nathanael Montilla, our Butler, was very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. He is the best. The service was outstanding.

Front desk check in staff are less than pleasant, they don’t acknowledge you when you walk up to the desk, pretend not to see you… other staff were great, kind and friendly and helpful, dirty beach but great pool. Check in was a bit hectic but I guess it was a busy weekend, overall good stay.

I was not allowed to leave the property until I paid the hotel more money beyond what Expedia quoted me for this trip. That is an unfair business practice and neither Expedia nor the hotel will take responsibility for not agreeing to the price. Awful customer service.

The beach and pools were fabulous. Super close to the airport, and definitely worth the price. The food for an all inclusive was very good. The staff was superb. Rauly, Jose, Cecelia, Elena, Fray, Profer, Atanasio, Will, Wander, Jonathan, Stephy, Gustavo, Julio and Celio were just some of the people who made this stay one of our favorite family trips yet. Weather was great (late Feb. 2025) and we were very pleased with the property and all the options available to us. Would definitely recommend!

Property was presentable. Beach was nice. Weather in November was unpredictable, lots of sun but frequent rain particularly in the evening. Resort was clean, staff were generally friendly. Be prepared for lots of selling under Hyatt around the world. They want to give you a presentation over breakfast and beyond within 24 hours of your arrival which eats into your vacation time. Room was very nice (very well laid out with lots of shelves and storage space including the bathroom). Bathroom was very bright and spacious. Our room had a leak under the glass shower wall so we had to place a towel to stop the water from entering the rest of the bathroom. Restaurants were nice. Portions were very small in the Bordeaux and Seaside Grill. Food was ok. A little too salty for our tastes. We spent most of our time at the World Buffet. Lots to choose from and quite delicious. The Japanese restaurant was a little disappointing as we were set up at the cooking table and had to eat what they created which was very salty. We would have rather eaten in the dining area where there were more choices. Be very careful when you arrive to understand the resort credits they give you. In particular the spa. You must use it on a certain day and it must be presented at time of your spa even if your welcoming attendant made the reservation for you. There was a lot of miscommunication with us during this period and unfortunately during check out we lost the credit because of this.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa, and I just have to share! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming; they genuinely went out of their way to ensure my family's stay was as enjoyable as possible. Our room was not only beautifully decorated but also maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, which was greatly appreciated. My son had a blast at the water park and the pool – it was so heartwarming to see him having so much fun. I personally found great joy in the spa services, the delicious breakfast offerings, and the convenience of having coffee available around the clock. The location was just right, being only 35 minutes from the airport, which made our travel so much easier. I also appreciated how attentive the hotel staff were when I requested a crib for my 6-month-old. They brought it to our room promptly and without any fuss. My family and I truly cherished every moment of our stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can't wait to return for another lovely experience!

Beach water was brownish. Mostly due to sea weeds and windy conditions during our stay. No turquoise colour water..

We recently stayed at Dreams Flor and, unfortunately, had a very distressing experience regarding our son’s dairy allergy. Despite informing the staff at the beginning of every meal — and even having them write down his allergy on a slip of paper to give directly to the chef — the kitchen still failed to take the necessary precautions on three separate occasions in three different on-site restaurants. 1st incident: Our son was served mashed potatoes that contained dairy. 2nd incident: His salmon was topped with pesto butter. 3rd incident: Butter was mixed into his corn, and this time we caught it only after he had already eaten some and began reacting. This incident led to us having to give him Zyrtec to manage the symptoms. We caught the first two mistakes before he consumed them, but the third one resulted in a real reaction — something no parent should have to experience on vacation, especially after repeatedly communicating dietary restrictions. When we brought all of this to management, instead of acknowledging the pattern of negligence, they implied that we must have given him something else, which was both untrue and upsetting. To be fair, our butler was genuinely caring, attentive, and did everything within their control to support us. Unfortunately, the attention to detail from the kitchens and restaurant staff was as consistently lacking, making every mealtime a source of anxiety. If you or your children have food allergies, please be extremely cautious.

Pool and water park were awesome as we were traveling on family vacation with our daughters (9 & 4). The preferred swim up and butler service were worth the charge. Food was good not great, outside of the Asian restaurant which was awesome.

Decent size, clean rooms, although air conditioning insufficient. Poor quality food overall, except breakfast, maybe. Drinks were terrible - could not be sure that the brands were authentic; sodas were all artificial - no diet free alternatives. Hijacked by desperate staff at the onset to join preferred club and Hyatt membership ! Vouchers provided were intentionally misleading.

Poor on dining options (5 out of 10), drink choice was worst, poor quality that do no represent the standard of this highly qualified resort (3 out of 10).

Food was god awful…. Service was great! Hotel need a update
