Staff were lovely at reception & at the bar We had a road side room & when the window was shut you could not hear it at all - amazing windows. Room was clean - being able to connect our ipad to the TV was brilliant & the free cocktail on arrival was lovely!

nice place, lively bar area open 24 hrs, good shower in the room and decent breakfast. It's on a busy main road but I had a room on the 2nd floor at the front of the building and noise wasn't an issue. Walking distance to the city centre. Parking in the multi storey across the road from Saturday lunchtime to Sunday morning cost £17

Really loved this place and would stay again. Opposite the Cabot Circus carpark so that was handy. Funky decor and rooms - loved the hanging racks instead of cupboards. Nice shower. The free welcome drink at the bar was a nice touch. The only negatives weren’t actually the hotel’s fault. Our discount for the carpark never materialised as the ticket wouldn’t register and if you order a cab, you have to go through a web-box and neither of the cabs we ordered turned up. Download Uber!

My second visit to the Moxy and now my go-to hotel when I visit Bristol. Modern rooms withC comfortable bed and pillows and close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. The only negative I can think of is that it was a bit dusty in some places, but not yucky. Will definitely visit again!

I stayed at Moxy Bristol on Sunday night based on recommendations from this website. I have regretted it ever since. Some members of staff were polite enough, but when I tried to check out the next morning, I had to wait for 15 minutes at the reception. Eventually, a staff member arrived and explained that he had been to the toilet, even attempting to describe why. I stopped him and said I wasn’t interested, but I still had to wait. However, the worst part was the cleanliness. There was horrible mould in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable in any establishment! Moxy tries very hard to be “cool,” but being cool does not mean disrespecting customers or failing to clean properly. There are plenty of other hotels in this price range in Bristol. My advice? Stay away from Moxy Bristol—I certainly will.

Been here before and generally the visits are happy however this stay was just unclean. The towels just smelt oily, I don't know how to explain it. Even the room just felt stuffy, dusty you could say. Breakfast was amazing as usual bar service fantastic and staff really friendly. Just the cleanliness was off and being clean is the least you would expect.

We usually have a great experience at Moxy but this time there was a complete refurb happening outside the hotel with builders walking out side our window at 8am on Saturday morning. This was not mentioned on the hotels.com website. Also the bathroom smelt mouldy and was a really stale smell. Not very pleasant.

Great stay, great room in a comfortable and artistic hotel. The hotel is well-located, so everything city centre related is relatively easy to get to. Only gripe would be the room wasn't left so clean after cleaning (still hairs in the shower), and toilet rolls not replaced, leaving us running short towards the end of our stay. Overall though the hotel was great, especially the breakfasts!

The hotel is having a revamp. The whole front of the hotel is covered in scaffolding.this means even on the 3rd floor people are walking right outside your window. The Aircon didn't work my room started at 26°C but by 2am it was up to 30°C I opened the window to cool down but it is the noisiest road I have ever stayed on. All in all I only managed to sleep for 30mins. On top of this I had to pay for 2 rooms because I wasn't allowed to cancel one.

Modern hotel across the road from the Cabot circus shopping centre. Walking distance to stokes Croft, castle park and Ubers were cheap for other areas. No safe in the rooms, and the air conditioning is based on the outside temperature so the room was roasting on the first night, but we kept the window open and it was much more comfortablefor the rest of the stay (we stayed for a full week and overall, it was a great stay).

We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and the staff were helpful when we were looking for things like teabags and salt and pepper. We ate in the bar on our last night and the asparagus risotto was really tasty. The bathroom is pretty small and not quite enough room between the toilet and the shower to towel dry after showering. There was plenty of handwash and shower gel in the dispensers. There's not much room to hang up clothes. We were there for 2 nights, which is probably the ideal length for a stay, unless you pack really light or don't mind keeping clothes in your luggage. It was a slight drawback having workmen outside the room on the scaffolding, as it impacted on our privacy. We were informed at check-in that building work was happening, but there was no information about it when we made the booking.

My stay at the Moxy was fine aside from two factors. Firstly, there were major renovations goIng on during our stay and the entire property was covered in scaffolding. At certain points in the morning and during the day, there was noisy building work going on outside my room window. Secondly, the room air conditioner was pre-set to a temperature of 25/26 degrees with no way to adjust the temperature. All attempts to make it cooler were in vain, because the regulator just reset itself to 25 degrees. This meant my room was way too hot and opening the window made little or no difference and just exposed the room more to the noisy environment outside. Aside from these two factors, I found everything else about the hotel just fine.

The room was well designed, the layout gave a good amount of space to move around considering the size of the room. The beds were more comfy than many I've slept on, they felt more like beds than blocks of stone and there was a decent amount of pillows in the room for once too. Finally a room with plenty of coat hooks too! I liked the metal grate styling in the room, which enabled flexible use of hooks and hangers to keep clothes tidy. I also was fond of the conditioner provided in the shower too;all too often it is forgotten. Great room, great design, great thoughtfulness for amenities. The only downside I had was that the check in desk isn't obvious when you walk in the front door. It's to the left but there is another desk to the right for other things.

We had a very disappointing interaction with the manager, Angus. We were traveling with our baby and asked to store a sealed container of milk since the rooms don’t have mini-fridges. She refused, even after we explained our baby would need it during the night, and told us to go outside and buy milk in the middle of the night instead. Her attitude felt rude and completely unhelpful, especially toward a family traveling with an infant.

Very helpful staff and great breakfasts. The location is the only problem, on the main exit from the city centre, a three lane busy road that turns into the M32. Not even easy to drop off. Not much they can do about this... but the hotel is otherwise very good.

Liked that it was close to cabot and within walking distance to many things. Did not like the scaffolding, entrance of the hotel was facing busy street making it hard to park/drive, really loved the staff and service.

Great value overall. Handy location, fairly easily walkable to most areas of interest. Property very pleasant atmosphere. Room well-considered and spotlessly clean. My room was overlooking the busy road by the main entrance and it was quite noisy with traffic, even during the night next time I would request a room at the back.

It’s a pretty good hotel close to the city centre, hardly 5 minutes walk. The staff is extremely helpful. Hotel is overall clean and nice.

The hotel is located in front of a huge shopping mall and very convenient. They gave us welcome drink and the front desk was more like a bar which may be fun for some people to enjoy night activities in the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was fine.

It was hard to find because it was covered in scaffolding but once inside the room was nice and clean with good amenities. Staff were friendly. Overall, very good value for money for a one night stay in Bristol. I’d stay again and reccomend to others. It’s a 10 minute walk from Cabot Circus and a 20 Minute Walk to Bristol Temple Meads Station, 3 minute walk from a 24h garage if you need, water snacks etc.

Ideal location. Room has everything required but bed/pillows not that comfortable. Bar staff miserable. Breakfast was poor, toasters not working, empty shelves, dirty tables, no glasses, Breakfast was served 0630-1030. Went down at 0945 and barely anything left.

I had a wonderful stay at the Moxy. It's in a great location and only a 20 minute walk from the train station. The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We opted for breakfast which was great. They had a mixture of healthy options, cooked breakfast and pastries. They had vegan options - vegan sausages, pancakes and milk to name a few. They also had gluten free options and a separate toaster for GF bread. The hotel is cat and dog friendly too! I would happily stay here again!

Date of stay Saturday 25 th check in for one night .Hi unfortunately I’m having to make a small Complaint overall we were happy with our stay but the breakfast was a major let down we arrived down to breakfast and was disappointed to find no eggs no sausage no tomatoes and barely warm beans and one hash brown the only reason I paid £26 was to have two full English style breakfast which I was very much looking forward to ,I had to settle for a few slices of bacon and toast ,it was a similar experience for my girlfriend. She didn’t get what she was expecting for £13 .also the kettle in the room wasn’t working so I was unable to make myself a morning tea in the room . I’d appreciate you contact me in regards to this situation.

Stayed for a catch-up afternoon / evening with friends. The hotel had provided information regarding a deal with NCP parking across the road (Cabot Circus) and activated the card for discount (30% if I recall) on arrival the check-in was welcoming, quick and friendly. We were given a complimentary drink, it was apparently a cocktail but tasted of apple juice. Rooms were simple, clean and tidy. No-nonsense and modern. Overnight I was kept awake by traffic at the front, it is on a busy road, AC kept room at a good temperature. We all met for breakfast at 09:00, there was a lack of order or direction, staff seemed flustered. No mugs No bread Faulty juice machine No waffles at the 'waffle station' 2 bottles of tomato ketchup for the whole place?? Cooked food was nice, sausages were really tasty! I got the last croissant at 09:30, there was still an hour of breakfast for the team to cope with. It was a shame as I felt it let down the stay with the simple 'hotel breakfast' not going to plan. ... top tip for getting about - Tier bikes and scooters have a spot just outside, it's a great fun and environmentally friendly way to explore the city!

A great stay - comfy, stylish room, tidy and very clean (apart from a slightly discolored sink). Great breakfast, with a really good selection and efficient, friendly service throughout the stay. Liked touches like maple syrup dispenser - far less single us plastic than a normal hotel breakfast. Family room was great, as our daughter had her own space. Very much recommended.

Very good vibe to the hotel. The greeting on arrival (6pm) was friendly and efficient. The room was great. Shower shampoo and body wash seemed the same as the conditioner? I decided to have breakfast on my last day and regretted it as it coloured an otherwise wonderful stay. I had invited my son to join me as it was my last day and I wanted him to see the otherwise great setup. The suasages were cold tasteless and overcooked; no orange juice and no real juice at all, other options being long life cartons. Terrible value for money and you have to bus your own tray to a full tray cart. The morning staff also seemed far less evident and switched on.
