Embrace Hotel

We loved the garden and had nice food in the evening in hotel restaurant. Pool was also handy. Hotel is in a local and less busy area. Staff at breakfast was friendly albeit with limited English. Management should provide enough juice for guests as now there was 1dl of it even at the start of day. I would suggest hotel management to make sure breakfast is ready by 7am as guests have appointments to go to sights. We stayed in similar priced hotels elsewhere in Egypt and water was always offered without us asking. This hotel only gave it on first day. Toiletries were a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo. Water didnt go down well in shower. Whoever has a duty to answer hotels.com messages shoud do it promptly and politely. Hotel building is beautiful.

This hotel is a total oasis within the very basic surrounding area. It matches the online photos, definitely has lots of visual wow factor. We were grateful for the simple daily breakfast supplied, wouldn't know where to find anything otherwise. The pool is the star of this hotel, we loved venturing out morning and evening to explore Luxor and returning in-between to enjoy the pool for a few hours during the heat of the day. Only negatives, would of really appreciated if they had the air conditioning running in our room prior to our arrival. The room was beyond hot, the walls and floors radiated heat, so difficult to sleep. Woke in the middle of night to air con off, turns out Luxor has powercuts often. It took about 12 hours for the room to become a comfortable temperature! Also note wifi was very limited.
