Very friendly staff. Housekeeping and breakfast staff first rate. Breakfast area small but well organized. We had one crowded morning and had to wait. Staff worked harder to get us in quickly. Desk arranged taxi service to CDG. Multiple cozy restaurants very good to very fine dining within 2 blocks. Metro station within a block.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a taxi service available to get you to the different locations that you want to visit. You just need to let them know a day ahead of time when you will need the service and where you are going.

The air conditioning was amazing and the staff was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at Hôtel Marais de Launay and unfortunately found that it didn’t live up to the high ratings we had seen on Expedia and Google. At $385 CAD per night, we expected a much better experience—especially given other hotel options in the same price range. While the location is close to a metro station, the immediate surroundings were disappointing. The hotel is nestled among several bike repair garages, giving the area an industrial, cluttered feel. Right next to the hotel, there’s also a tattoo shop that regularly attracted a group of people who loitered on the sidewalk, forcing us to walk around them just to get by. The rooms were much smaller than pictured online, and the overall space felt more like an old apartment converted into an inn than a proper hotel. The shower was extremely tight—I’m 6'1" and could barely move inside it. One of the most frustrating issues was the air conditioning. It wasn’t working during our stay, and despite raising the issue with the staff multiple times, it was never resolved. We were lucky the weather wasn’t too warm, but still had to sleep with the windows open—leading to a lot of street noise and very disturbed sleep. On the positive side, the concierge staff was friendly and welcoming. But unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort, cleanliness, and value. In hindsight, we regret choosing this hotel based on inflated online reviews and would not stay here again.

We stayed there at Christmas -time for 4 nights with our 2 children. The room wasn't huge but was laid out nicely so that it did not feel cramped (and it's Paris so the size was probably good). The breakfast was included and was really great. It was in the basement and had a castle like feel, but was also clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and there were no issues at all. Close to the metro and the Bastille - most sites were either walkable or a short train ride away. I would highly recommend staying there!

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber für einen Städtetrip reichte es. Das Hotel war sauber und gepflegt. Man sah, dass Wert darauf gelegt worden war, alles hübsch zu machen und dem Gast es nett zu gestalten (Aufenthaltsbereich in der Lobby, Innenhof mit Stühlen und Tischen, Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank mit 2 Wasserflaschen, Tee und Instant-Kaffee). Unser Bad hatte eine Badewanne mit Dusche. Das ist für ältere Leute nicht so einfach. Das Hotel eignet sich nicht für Menschen mit Gehproblemen, da es viele Treppen gibt. Das Frühstück war gut. Kleines, nettes Buffet. Das Personal war super nett und immer hilfsbereit. In einigen Gehminuten war man an der Haltestelle Bastille, wo die Metro Linie 5 direkt zum Gare de l‘Est und Gare du Nord fährt. Super angebunden! Und mit der Linie 1 kommt man direkt zum Louvre. Also super! Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15 Minuten in den belebten Straßen des Marais. Oder in 5 Minuten in der Restaurantmeile an der Bastille. Auch die Restaurants oberhalb der Straße bieten viele Restaurants. Taxi

Staff was great, early check in was available, luggage storage. Like the way the room storage shelves allow you to keep your items off the floor abd have more walkong space.

The room was clean and comfortable and the main floor has two lounge areas with a washroom. An elevator will assist in getting your luggage to your floor however the stairs are easily accessible. Close to Bastille area and Metro stations. Highly recommend staying here.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel, die Zimmer zum Hinterhof sind sehr ruhig, Badezimmer mit Fenster , die Betten sind sehr gut. Die Lage ist auch perfekt.

Great value considering excellent location . Very convenient for Chemin Vert metro to get direct to Concorde for Musée d' Orsay and Louvre direct. Lovely breakfast. Room a little drab with basic hanging space and just shelves. No pictures or decorations. Air Con not working well. Otherwise very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and loved our experience. Attentive and friendly staff. Very well located hotel surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, cafés and stores. Metro station 1 min away. Clean and comfortable room. We'll be back again.

I rented two rooms for a one-night stay and had an overall nice experience. The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff was great, making the stay quite pleasant. However, the bathrooms could use better cleaning. Despite this, I would still recommend the hotel for its convenience and friendly service.

It is overall a good hotel in a safe, quiet and convenient location. The staff was always helpful and pleasant to deal with. The air conditioning worked great. The rooms are small, which is fine. The only complaint is the housekeeping, the walls and vents are very dusty and there was sewer gas smell coming from the toilet at nighttime, possibly because there were more guests using the toilets in the building.

Paris accommodation is always going to be small and expensive, so it's important to find a place that is well-located and makes you feel at home. Hotel Marais de Launay certainly ticks the box, being located on the eastern edge of Le Marais (so easy walking distance to Notre Dame, the Senie, Pompideau and the beautiful streets of Le Marais. There's cafes, restaurants and a Carrefours supermarket nearby and a selection of metro stops. The front desk staff were always friendly. The room was clean and quiet. I was very happy to have made this my home for my week in Paris

Front staff was great. Room was never restocked with coffee or shampoo. I asked the first time but just didn’t bother after that

The area of the hotel was nice but the room was so small. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. With no ventilation we kept our window open all night and there were many police sirens. Earplugs are a must. The breakfast was great but in a very tiny room. The elevator was claustrophobic so we took the stairs mostly- up 6 floors. Staff was excellent. Perhaps all hotels in Paris have small rooms. This was our first stay in Paris.

The hotel room was nice but small. It was adequate for me and my husband. What we didn’t like was the shower was very small. I’m 5’6 117 lbs and had trouble turning around. But the location was very good. Restaurants are a short walk and so is a grocery store and pharmacy. There is a fantastic Thai restaurant just down the street. It is noisy at night especially if you leave the window open. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Such a lovely hotel. All the staff were so helpful, always happy to give advice on restaurants and transport options. Our room was really nice, bathroom a bit small but absolutely fine. Would very happily stay again.

I've stayed here previously, but on this occasion my room was located right bedside the lift doors...and in the middle of various other bedrooms - the noise level and thin build of the walls gave it a very "hostel" like feel. It was very noisy, with doors slamming and the sound of the lift doors. One member of staff on the front desk seemed very impatient/stressy - not the ideal welcome to a hotel. Breakfast is nice, but not as good as it used to be. Location is good, near to the Marais, close to metro stops...and near to La Vache Acrobat - which is a bar restaurant which shouldn't be missed!

Good: Proximity to the metro stations and it is in the city. Poor: The rooms are very small for the price, the shower area could barely fit me.

I had a pleasant stay here. The service was very friendly, and the woman at the front desk was wonderful. The location is great and the room was clean. This hotel is best for the early risers I think, as my only complaint was that it was very loud in the morning. I could hear all the activity clearly in the hallway.

I absolutely love this hotel — this was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be better with the metro so close, making all of Paris easily accessible. The hotel was extremely accommodating, and I’m already looking forward to returning next year. The only thing missing this time was Patricia, who was away on vacation. If you’re fortunate enough to stay here, don’t miss stopping by Il Seguito for a glass of wine!

Very good value for Paris. We had a superior room which was still fairly basic but no complaints. Fridge, kettle. Staff very friendly. Walkable to Bastille and Marais. Easy to get to from CDG airport (RER B to Gare de Nord, then metro to Richard Le Noir then approx 8 minutes walk) Chemin Vert metro station within 5 minutes walk. Some lovely restaurants in the vicinity (we had great oysters at le Centenaire, great meat at Santa Carne) and a little bit further (10 minutes walk) the Marche des Enfants Rouge which has a great atmosphere and has lots of small restaurants in the market (we had Lebanese which was really really good). Would definitely stay there again

The hotel was very central. It had everything you needed in a room, and the space enough for luggage as well. It was very near the Metro and quite a few good eating places nearby both for boulangeries and meals

Mateo at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. He helped us get around Paris on the train, which is not as easy as one expects. The hotel is located near two train stations and literal steps up to a major boulevard in Le Marais.

Perfect home base for 4- night Paris visit. Easy access to the metro, walkable to food, Air conditioning, elevator, wonderful included breakfast. Perfect for us! Long walk - but even walked to Notre Dame!

Great place, relaxed, super clean, nice friendly smiling staff, easy walk (5 minutes) to the Marais and easy walk (8 minutes) to Bastille, quiet neighborhood.

Had a lovely stay here. Travelled with my 7 yr old and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent location (2min walk to Metro), within a 5 min walk to Place de la Bastille. Staff very friendly, always smiling and so helpful. Would definitely recommend and return here.

Questo hotel è una buona soluzione per trascorrere qualche giorno a Parigi in un quartiere tranquillo e molto vicino al cuore della città. La nostra camera era un po' piccola ma molto pulita e fornita di tutto il necessario; cambio degli asciugamani giornaliero (anche se il letto non era rassettato a dovere). Colazione buona e varia ma il locale è un po' strettino, con tanti ospiti si fa fatica a passare e a servirsi. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente consigliabile per la media degli hotel a tre stelle.
