Très bon séjour à l’hôtel So marais . Emplacement au top dans le marais , proche d’un métro . Rue au calme . Il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner mais une salle à disposition avec micro onde , bouilloire, thé , machine à café à disposition, top !!! L’hôtel est sans ascenseur mais pas un soucis pour nous . Même après de nombreux kilomètres à pied dans Paris , cela nous a pas déranger jusqu’à 5eme étage . Si je reviens à Paris , je reviens au So Marais .

Great location and very clean. No door on the toilet took a minute to get used to! Not for mobility challenged - narrow spiral staircase. Wifi was very reliable and hotel great fit for us.

Aunque es un hotel, no hay personal. Al llegar nos sorprendió que no hubiera ascensor, no lo habíamos leído, pero el problema es que las escaleras por las que se acceden( en mi caso a una segunda planta) son de caracol, muy estrechas que no pasábamos bien con la maleta, incluso peligroso y bastante descuidadas. La impresión al llegar ya no es buena. La ubicación es buena. Las habitaciones parecen mas modernas en las fotos. Tienen taquillas para poder guardar las maletas.

The hotel is located in Chinatown so there were a lot of options for food. It is an easy walk to the Republique metro - line 9 - which is great for getting around. There is a restaurant/bar immediately next door and right across the street so it does get a bit loud at night, but the windows were good for keeping sound out. However, with no a/c (as is common) windows open is needed. We went to the bar across the street - a charming local place, and Horiz which is a restaurant right down the road that was good. There is no one on property ever. So, if you are looking for someone to ask questions it's text. We assisted an elderly couple who were very confused about why there was no one there. We walked them through how to read the text about getting a room door code and another guest who also happened to be there helped them with luggage storage. One nit - the railing to get up to the rooms (narrow spiral staircase) was sticky! Perhaps the cleaners could give it a good wipe down.

Room was very clean and suitable for our stay. Important to note that the room is extremely small, hardly bigger than the bed. There is literally no way to have a full sized suitcase in the room. Thankfully we had very small bags. Yes, toilet is directly behind the left headboard. Kind of weird when you think about it. No door and extremely cramped. Probs not a place for a date kind of stay. LOL. Shower is actually very nice and behind the right headboard with a small sink. There is also a fan that came in handy to circulate the air. The bed itself was quite comfortable and gave a great night’s sleep. Also keep in mind that the stairs are narrow and steep. Another reason for small bags. We were on the 4th floor! All that said, the location was absolutely perfect and worked out well for where we wanted to go. I do recommend this hotel but just wanted to make sure you knew of potential pitfalls.

Hôtel bien rénové et propre au visuel. Aucun personnel, tout automatisé et celà a fonctionné. Juste pas compris le petit déjeuner comment cela fonctionnais, si c’était inclus et je n ai pas visité la salle prévue. Escalier sportif, car étroit et pas d ascenceur

The hotel team was very responsive over WhatsApp and keep us posted before and during the trip. Location is good, lots of dining options around an felt safe (but quiet) at night. The luggage storage option and reliable wifi are solid perks.

Hotel idéalement situé, propre et confortable. Accès par code et n’avons croisé personne, ce qui n’est pas gênant. Consigne à bagage au sous sol avec pièce « type vestiaire » mais attention payante ( 2€ par ouverture de porte) la pièce n’est pas restituée donc s’assurer que tout bien ok avant la fermeture. Ce serait bien d’être informé que la consigne est payante même si le prix est très faible. Accès libre au sous sol à thé café snack ce qui est un plus. Avions une chambre au rdc en face de l’entrée, très agréable mais entendions tout, les entrées et sorties, discussion devant la porte etc… je recommande l’hôtel et y retournerons avec plaisir. Ps: juste en face le Chartron , bistrot parisien sympathique où nous allon régulièrement lors de nos séjours parisiens.

Det var fukt och mögel i hela hotellrummet vi fick. Våra personliga ägodelar vi tagit med oss inför resan har fått fuktskador. Där har heller inte varigt någon personal på plats förutom städerskan iallafall dom gånger vi gått ner och försökt på hjälp med vårt rum. Det var så mycket fukt att det rann längs väggarna och speglar som immades. Man var konstant fuktig i rummet.

Läget var fantastiskt och det var ett trivsamt och prydligt litet hotell. Receptionen var obemannad men de svarade snabbt på sms. Tyvärr hade vi en stark lukt av fukt i ett av våra två sovrum (vi hade rum 202) vilket gjorde att vi inte ville hänga på rummet förutom det nödvändiga, det drog ner helhetsintrycket. Vi påtalade men fick till svar att hotellet var fullt och att annat rum därför inte kunde erbjudas.

Gute Lage, aber eher ein AirBnB als ein Hotel. Kein Empfang, kein Aufzug, kleine, zweckmäßige Zimmer, Mini Bad - leider mit viel Schimmel in den Fugen. Man kann dies schlichtweg nicht Hotel nennen. Außerdem riecht es modrig.

We had a lovely trip, the only things that made the stay difficult were a lack of bathroom door (toilet was right around the corner from the bed) and the walls/floors were extremely thin. Otherwise a great location!

Excelente ubicación pero 1) no hay staff para cualquier duda (todo es por mensaje de texto) y 2) no hay elevador y las escaleras están increíblemente reducidas de espacio. Si llevas dos maletas tendrás que subir a tu piso una por una. A considerar si te hospedas más arriba del 2 piso. Fuera de eso, es lo que uno espera de un hotel a este precio en le Marais, limpio, práctico pero muy, muy pequeño.

Överlag nöjda med rummet och det såg ut som på bilderna. Städningen kunde varit lite bättre då det va mycket smuts längst väggarna och i hörnen. La bra i Paris och det var en bra utgångspunkt när man skulle iväg på äventyr. Vi hade rummet precis bredvid receptionen och ingången vilket va skönt, dock så var det väldigt lyhört och man hörde varje gång någon gick in och ut från dörren eller när någon pratade i receptionen.

The room was great and looked just like the photo. The bathroom was big, modern and clean. We picked this particular room as it had a patio, despite being small we did appreciate opening the door in the morning. Only downside was it was very close to the front door so we heard everyone coming and going. But the room itself…really nice!

I stayed with my daughter aged 17. No doors to the toilet, an it was difficult to be in the room with two suitcases. It looked different on pictures than in reality. We decided to skip the last night for getting a bigger room somewhere else. Bu, it was clean and placed in a nice area. If I’ve been there by myself, I would have stayed Believe it did not match our expectations or requirements this time 🙏

Rooms are small but practical! Their team is not onsite but great customers service via email and text! I was a bit surprised that there were no elevators. If you have more than a carry on or back pack. Request a room in the 1st or 2nd floor. The team was able to assist me with this immediately and I will forever be grateful. I will be back soon. With less suitcases and more time!

This hotel does not have a receptionist after 3pm, which I hadn’t appreciated when I booked it as I would have booked somewhere else. The number supplied by hotels.com was incorrect and so eventually, after lots of googling, I managed to make contact with a remote reception who sent me a text message with access codes. Our confirmation has said we had suite 102, first floor, when in-fact we were given room 502 on the fifth floor. We had lots of luggage as we were on our way to our summer holiday in Italy, and the hotel did not have a lift, so making our way up to the fifth floor via a spiral staircase was no fun and ruined the stay for us.

We had lots of luggage as we were on our way to our summer holiday in Italy, and the hotel did not have a lift, so making our way up to the fifth floor via a spiral staircase was no fun and ruined the stay for us.

No one answered the phone to check-in. It was pretty stressful to wait and see if someone would actually let us into the hotel. They did not send the access codes 24 hours in advance as they indicated in the booking email. The cleaning woman, who helped us in, was lovely.

Stayed here on our first night in Paris, the staff was extremely helpful and quick with responses. Made accommodations to leave our bags while we explored the city. Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay ! Definitely recommend.

Great room, very comfortable and efficient. Check in was very confusing as it was all electronic, even though I arrived during suggested hours. Once I received a text with information, everything went smoothly.

Nice cosy little hotel with friendly helpful staff. In a great location to explore heart of Paris. Walking distance from Notre Dame, Louvre and variety of cafés, restaurants, and shopping centres. Only issue is no lifts and spiral staircase,so may be a challenge for those with excessive luggage or problems getting up such stairs. However, that wasn't much concern for us and enjoyed our experience there.

The location of Hotel So Marais is perfect, on a quiet hidden street but with restaurants below and a row of other amazing restaurants less than five minutes away. It was the perfect calm oasis after a day of site seeing. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. There is no staff to be found, except a cleaning person midday; you’re sent the code for the front door and your room in an email.

The hotel team was very responsive over WhatsApp and keep us posted before and during the trip. Location is good, lots of dining options around an felt safe (but quiet) at night. The luggage storage option and reliable wifi are solid perks.

El hotel en general cumple con lo necesario, es muy limpio y tiene muy buena ubicación para caminar hacia algunas de las atracciones más importantes, estaciones de metro cerca y buenos lugares para cenar. Si tienes mucho equipaje subir a tu habitación podria ser un reto, nosotros viajamos con maletas pequeñas y no fue gran problema. No esperes una atención personalizada porque el hotel está orientado a accesos sin lobby y sin contacto, cumple muy bien su funcion. Diario limpian y cambian las toallas. Es un lugar para pasar bien las noches, estuvimos en invierno y tienen buena calefacción

Sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel Marais. Von Check-In bis Check-Out mit Gepäck Aufbewahrung ist an alles gedacht. Alles lief reibungslos und ohne Probleme. Wir hatten ein großes sauberes Zimmer. Wasserdruck und Temperatur waren sehr gut und Heizung lief auch super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. :)

Très bon séjour à l’hôtel So marais . Emplacement au top dans le marais , proche d’un métro . Rue au calme . Il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner mais une salle à disposition avec micro onde , bouilloire, thé , machine à café à disposition, top !!! L’hôtel est sans ascenseur mais pas un soucis pour nous . Même après de nombreux kilomètres à pied dans Paris , cela nous a pas déranger jusqu’à 5eme étage . Si je reviens à Paris , je reviens au So Marais .

There was no coffee maker in the room and you had to go to the basement (5 floors down) to get a machine. Tiny rooms but livable and clean. Hardly ever saw personnel. Stairs to rooms were very tiny and our "neighbors" with big suitcases almost couldn't get them up the stairs. It was nice location and if only 1-2 people traveling will use again.

Hotel molto carino, check in facile e veloce. Servizio di deposito bagagli comodissimo. Disponibili a check in anticipato. Camera pulita e seppur contenuta negli spazi assolutamente funzionale. Location perfetta con ristoranti e attività nei dintorni, molto comoda con i mezzi di trasporto. Sicuramente la terremo in considerazione per un prossimo soggiorno a Parigi

The hotel is located in Chinatown so there were a lot of options for food. It is an easy walk to the Republique metro - line 9 - which is great for getting around. There is a restaurant/bar immediately next door and right across the street so it does get a bit loud at night, but the windows were good for keeping sound out. However, with no a/c (as is common) windows open is needed. We went to the bar across the street - a charming local place, and Horiz which is a restaurant right down the road that was good. There is no one on property ever. So, if you are looking for someone to ask questions it's text. We assisted an elderly couple who were very confused about why there was no one there. We walked them through how to read the text about getting a room door code and another guest who also happened to be there helped them with luggage storage. One nit - the railing to get up to the rooms (narrow spiral staircase) was sticky! Perhaps the cleaners could give it a good wipe down.

Hotel idéalement situé, propre et confortable. Accès par code et n’avons croisé personne, ce qui n’est pas gênant. Consigne à bagage au sous sol avec pièce « type vestiaire » mais attention payante ( 2€ par ouverture de porte) la pièce n’est pas restituée donc s’assurer que tout bien ok avant la fermeture. Ce serait bien d’être informé que la consigne est payante même si le prix est très faible. Accès libre au sous sol à thé café snack ce qui est un plus. Avions une chambre au rdc en face de l’entrée, très agréable mais entendions tout, les entrées et sorties, discussion devant la porte etc… je recommande l’hôtel et y retournerons avec plaisir. Ps: juste en face le Chartron , bistrot parisien sympathique où nous allon régulièrement lors de nos séjours parisiens.

Très bien placé ! En revanche jamais vu la personne à la réception ! Pas de bouilloire pour une tisane et lavabo chambre 1 vraiment trop petit et pas de prise pour rasoir dans la salle de bain !!!!

The location can’t be beat for the price! Highly recommend this cozy stay. Our room was 5 floors up on a circular staircase, which was ok for us but not for everyone. We were able to drop our bags & lock them up until check-in. Laundry was nice. No staff present (except cleaners). The street & room were very quiet! We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The rooms are small that we couldn’t open up our suitcases in the bedrooms and left them in the hallway of the “suite.” The stairs are incredibly difficult to navigate and it was a challenge getting our bags up and down. While the staff was very communicative, there were no staff members on site. The rooms had lots of peeling paint, broken locks, and in need of an upgrade. We left after the first night and went to another hotel.

If you do a little bit of research you will notice that that's the normal for Paris. Location was perfect, 15 min walk to the river and then you can walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, triumph arc and Eiffel tower. Bus stops and metro station super close.
