The staff were amazing and very helpful! They arranged taxis for us and there was always water and some baked goods available. The breakfast was really nice and loved the atmosphere. The hotel was clean with a lot of amenities (just ask if you don't see it!) and the location was perfect for day trips using the subway or even walking. Would stay there again!

We were in a family room on the 6th floor. The room was nice and clean, and the towels were changed when we did not leave “do not disturb” sign. The bathroom was clean as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is always coffee, tea, water and sparkling water available at any time of day and night in the main lobby. The breakfast was okay to tie you over. The metro stations are close, 15 minutes walk to Sacre Coeur. Great location with lots of good food options around, as well as Monoprix 2 minutes up the street if you need something from the store. I recommend for the family.

Great hotel in a very good location. Staff were incredibly attentive and rooms were perfect. Air conditioned and water available in lobby. Beds were comfortable and shower and tub (separate) were great. Very close to both metro station and bus stop and walkable tons of restaurants and bakeries.

Nice hotel in a nice area but that's about it. We were placed into a small, uncomfortable with no working electrics upon arrival and assured that we would be moved the next morning, which we were. Considering the price of the hotel it's worth it for the area but it's a very basic hotel. It does has a charm about it but it's really nothing special and doesn't merit a 4* rating as there is little to no amenities in the hotel. There isn't even a fridge in the room. The staff in the other hand were very friendly and welcoming. I would return to the area but not the hotel.

Breakfast was lovely and lots of really nice restaurants within walking distance. Tube station only a couple of minutes walk away so really easy to get to CDG Airport without taxi. Similar to all Paris hotels, the room was small but clean and nicely decorated and coffee, water and snacks were available for free all day. The down side of being in a busy area with nice pubs and eateries was the noise at night with chattering and traffic noise heard into the early hours but it didn’t stop me sleeping.

The room was very loud, noise coming from the ventilation on the roof. We had to sleep with earplugs, otherwise it would have been unbearable. The room was renovated in "Parisien style" (floor was very slanting!), so it was a shame that they hadn't fixed the noise. Elevator was really small and slow.

Hotel switched me to sister hotel Posy. Guaranteed beds were not provided. Checkout first night and had to find other accommodations. Hotel refused refund for remaining nights. Top that off that the Hotel was horrible- elevator didn’t work, noisy, crappy bed, dirty. After three weeks of escalating with Expedia and hotel Expedia stepped in and gave refund. Hotel staff and management absolutely intolerable. DO NOT stay here.

Lovely little property. Perfect for a weekend get away. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Property is clean and well kept. Room was tiny but that is to be expected for Paris. Wish I had a fridge in the room. To keep beverages chilled. No water in room but they do offer water and coffee for free in the lobby. Location is very walkable to shopping areas. It is located right down the street 2-3 minute walk from the moulin rouge. Lots of dining options in the area. Overall really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again in the future

Very nice and clean hotel! Super close to Moulin Rouge and other things in montmartre. Everything is very clean and I loved the breakfast. Staff is helpful and friendly, I could even borrow an Iron and ironing board for my clothes. You can get coffe & water in a machine. Rooms are pretty small yes but if you are not very big I dont think you will mind, we had plenty of room and also we got a balcony and im so happy about that! Thank you! Can't wait to go back honestly.

Manager and receptionists were lovely, nice and attentive but the condition of the hotel was really poor we had black mould all over our bathroom, broken plug/light switch, the toilet would need to be consistently flushed or stuff would float up from the pipes and the double bed was two single beds barely pushed together so would separate throughout the night. We spoke to a receptionist and the manager who tried to solve our black mould problem but couldn’t as there was not a builder in and refunded us our city tax which was much appreciated and we loved everyone who works there but our room needed serious work. The lobby/entrance area was lovely and the local area was really nice too. Would stay again if the room was done up.

Checked out after night one - not only was the room much smaller and darker than advertised, but the walls were all covered in cobwebs and clumps of dust. We checked in around 10pm, so the night porter moved us to a different, slightly larger room, but this had the same issues - walls all covered in dust, including around the bed area. Surfaces covered in dust too. We couldn’t believe it - a lovely (and expensive) weekend was nearly ruined. Given it was 1am when we’d finished reporting this to the night porter again, we decided to try and get some sleep as far away from the walls as possible - four sleepless hours later we packed up and requested that our stay was cancelled. When we mentioned this to management in the morning, we were told it was ‘normal’ and it was dust that had collected off suitcases and ‘stuck to the wallpaper’. In disbelief, we asked them to cancel our remaining nights and booked a nearby hotel (the best decision we made all weekend). The hotel eventually refunded us for the two nights we didn’t stay, but charged us full price for the night we did stay, despite only using the room for four hours or so. Absolutely disgusting room standards (it was much worse than we could capture in phone pictures) and even worse service.

I liked the position and the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was also good. I think that they have to improve the cleaning in particular of the toilet. We found mould on the sealing cause of humidity. Also spaces are tight.

Probleme de douche: salle de bain infondée apres 1 seule douche : l'eau coule et tout le pourtour de la salle e bain est rempli d'eau. Chambre sombre et toute petite, il ne faut pas être clostrophobe. Et très btuyante malgres le double vitrage. Bonne literie .

The service was great! All staff was very friendly and helpful, but beware that the rooms themselves are very tight! There was hardly room to walk around the beds (2 twin). The location was pretty convenient with plenty of food/access to public transportation - a very pleasant walk to Montmartre.

The staff were amazing and very helpful! They arranged taxis for us and there was always water and some baked goods available. The breakfast was really nice and loved the atmosphere. The hotel was clean with a lot of amenities (just ask if you don't see it!) and the location was perfect for day trips using the subway or even walking. Would stay there again!

Great hotel in a very good location. Staff were incredibly attentive and rooms were perfect. Air conditioned and water available in lobby. Beds were comfortable and shower and tub (separate) were great. Very close to both metro station and bus stop and walkable tons of restaurants and bakeries.

La propiedad está muy bien ubicada y la habitación con balcón es hermosa. Solo tienen un poco descuidados los balcones, hay mucho excremento de aves y colillas de cigarros. El chico joven de la mañana fue super atento y agradable, buscó cómo solucionar situaciones y no fue un problema el entendernos con el ingles, la verdad se llevó todo el servicio. El problema fue con el señor de la tarde, de verdad fue muy desagradable y nefasto por una confusión de su parte al momento de preguntarle sobre el check-up, si no entiendes inglés, no pasa nada, hay traductores, pero no es agradable que un adulto intente regañar a otro, ya no estamos en tiempos antiguos y deben ser más maduros en lugar de alterarse y gritar. Después al hacer check-up tuvimos otra situación con la misma persona, nos querian cobrar los impuestos de nuevo, cuando se pagaron al momento de hacer check-in, insistió en que no y le dije que ya se habían pagado y que debíamos una noche más, al final, según se había equivocado de habitación, pero no puedes equivocarte cuando regresar la tarjeta donde está escrito el número de habitación, la verdad es un movimiento muy abusivo para quienes desconocen el idioma, les cuesta hablar en ingles o no les gusta pelear. Me gustaria volver si cambiarán y capacitaran mejor a su personal de la tarde.

Arrived 1:00 told to come back 3pm. Came back 2:15 to relax in lobby. Lobby was empty except us. 3pm there were now 3-4 other groups waiting to check in. 3:15 still no rooms given out but 2 employees talking away. 3:20 couple who speak French were given a room followed by a couple that literally just walked in. Then a family of 4 were given 2 rooms…..we were the first there and had a premium balcony room but again were ignored even after I approached the desk twice to ask when we would be given our room. At 3:30 I demanded to be assisted and was asked what my name was….seriously???? I said I expected to be given an extra 30 minutes at checkout now. Then we get to the room. Bed too long for room and have to climb over it to get on other side. Can’t get a suitcase around, you have to pull it over bed. Blow dryer kept shutting off and wouldn’t turn back on for @ 5 minutes each time. Never been treated so poorly and ignored like that before. I’m a flight attendant and for leisure I travel to Europe at least twice a year. Not recommending to co-workers or passengers.

It's a very quirky and interesting hotel - quite unique; enchanting original oriental furniture, photos and other fascinating decor. The staff were absolutely incredible, from the room maids to Junior on the reception desk. The assistant manager, Hadjar, is an invaluable asset to the happyculture brand - she oversees her team in an excellent and professional manner, while still being able to find time to interact socially with her guests. We were not the only visitors that felt this way and insist that she cannot be praised highly enough; nothing was too much trouble and such a wonderful time was spent here, we are highly likely to return.(Family of four, visiting in October 2024).

We stayed early june in this hotel. It is really perfectly located near Pigalle. With Metro and Bus close you‘ll be able to explore Paris. We took a bigger room, which was suitable for 4 nights. The area is popular and the street is full of traffic, a lot of noice in the night. Breakfast was fine - service is great!

The hotel was wonderful, delicious hot selections and ample cold choices located in a unique decor. Location was excellent & easily walkable throughout Monmarte and central areas by the river. Walking from the Arc d'Triomph to the hotel took about 45 min & we felt very safe. It was about 20 min to walk, plus lots of steps, to Sacre Coeur. Our room was nice but small & to be expected for an older hotel in Paris. The Rudyard Kipling theme & portraits/artwork gave a unique vibe. Some street noise on a Fri night but also to be expected just blocks away from the Moulin Rouge. Staff were friendly & very helpful.

Breakfast was lovely and lots of really nice restaurants within walking distance. Tube station only a couple of minutes walk away so really easy to get to CDG Airport without taxi. Similar to all Paris hotels, the room was small but clean and nicely decorated and coffee, water and snacks were available for free all day. The down side of being in a busy area with nice pubs and eateries was the noise at night with chattering and traffic noise heard into the early hours but it didn’t stop me sleeping.

Charming hotel, a little vintage but clean and comfortable! Perfect for ducking into after a day in Paris. The double room was intimate so definitely best for couples or close friends. The area has sooo much good food and wine around it, it’s perfectly located a few streets a ways from really touristy things (like moulin rouge and a few more from montmartre) so it felt like a much better mix of tourists and locals. Super close to a metro line too so easy to get to gare du nord and CDG airport! Loved it

Udemærket hotel med det som man forventer og har brug for. God placering og fin og hyggelig indretning. Vores hotelværelse var dog meget lydt og jeg kunne se at det var fordi der var en stor sprække for oven på døren, da døren ikke passede i dørhullet.. så vi blev ret forstyrret af lyde var gæster og personale. Morgenmaden var umiddelbar fin, dog var der ikke nok personale til de spidsbelastede perioder og man kunne derfor komme ned til en morgenbuffet der var helt tom og man skulle vente længe på at den blev fyldt op, da det kun var en person der fyldte den samtid med at hun også skulle tage af borde, dække op og krydse folk af.

The property's location was ideal and the staff I encountered were very helpful and kind. The location is perfect and if you don't mind walking, you are close to most main attractions. The rooms are tiny but that was expected based on previous reviews. My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom and it's general upkeep. The tiles in the shower was fitly and the soap dispensers over the sink was broken and dirty. Finally, on Expedia, it's highlighted that there is a restaurant as well as a Bar & Lounge on site but this is incorrect, please remove and update. Thank you.

Such a cute hotel! The rooms are quite small, but that's to be expected in Paris and a boutique hotel. The room I had works fine for a singular person or a couple, despite the size! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I loved how the hotel is decorated (very nice for pictures). Also a bonus that our stay came with the breakfast buffet. It had everything you could need; juice, coffee, different breads and spreads, cheese, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, eggs, etc. Close to the metro station if needed, but Paris is such a walkable city that we walked everywhere from the hotel!

The 9th Arrondissement is a perfect location. You really feel like you’re experiencing Parisian life as a local, while still having easy access to the city centre towards and across the Seine. ie. there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, and Blanche Metro Station is just up the road. It’s a great neighbourhood, with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with lovely touches inspired by Kipling’s travels, and it is exceptionally clean. We stayed in a Superior Room, which had top views. As it was summer, more people were out in the evenings, so you can expect some street sound — but for me, that’s part of the charm and the experience of city life! The staff are absolutely wonderful and conversational, and deliver a truly high level of hospitality. A 4-star gem. Book if available. Would definitely stay here again.

Room-was tight but okay, one window did not open and was filthy. Strange smell coming from the bathroom, quite off putting. Staff was lovely, free coffee tea and water in the lobby was much appreciated. Good location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
