Great location for a hotel. Very convenient. Clean and spacious room. Small kitchenette was very useful.

More of a small apartment than a hotel in the traditional sense, we loved several things about this “Residence.” First… the location…. The Metro is very close and some attractions are within walking distance ( I consider 30 minutes walking to be fine). The room we had provided plenty of space and a large 2-sink bathroom. We did not use the kitchenette features, but they seem adequate. Front desk is staffed 24hrs. The desk people speak multiple languages, and were happy to answer any questions about the facility or area. The noise level from the street was negligible. I’d stay here again. The Nell was an excellent choice for us. We had a suite c/w separate bedroom, living space and kitchenette to give us a little more space for a 3 night stay. The hotel is around the corner from Rue Cadet which offers all sorts of lovely shops for bread, wine, and charcuterie for breakfast and snacks with many restaurant/cafe options nearby. The metro stations are within a few blocks as is Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier (Opera House). On small item - a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom's shower area would be helpful.

We booked this apartment for the convenience of having laundry facilities during our stay. However, when we arrived we found there is no laundry to use on site. The man in reception advised they have a laundry 'service' where they send your clothes to an external source for a fee. We walked to the next street where there was a laundromat and took care of it ourselves. Whilst the apartment itself was a reasonable size, it appears larger and fresher in the photos on their website. Our apartment's bedroom faced the main street corner and we had a street light shining into our bedroom all night. Blackout curtains would be beneficial in that room to keep some light out when guests are trying to sleep. Whilst the area has lots of eateries around, it means it is noisy at night. We understand Paris is a busy city which never appears to sleep but we found the area much noiser than we'd expected at night. We could also hear conversations from the room next door. Our apartment felt tired and worn. There were chips out of the formica on the cupboard door where the iron was kept, chips out of the bathroom door near the locking mechanism, a light cover missing on one of the lights in the bathroom and the toilet seat was crooked. There were stains on the hallway carpet leading to our apartment which added to the tired feel overall. We did have an issue with the toilet refilling and reported it to management. Unfortunately this was not able to be fixed before the end of our stay.

Our room was perfect: the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with dishes, stove worked perfectly, and bathroom was modern with perfect water temperature. There are so many nearby food options, but my personal favorites were the bakery and candy store right across the street. Plus, the little cafe right next door has great cocktails! Even better, we were able to access the whole city by metro, never more than 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. This is a gem of a location!

The room was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. There was 24/7 concierge. The shops and metro were very accessible. Roissybus from Charles de Gaulle airport was within walking distance. The passages off Rue de Faubourg Montmartre were intriguing.

This not a hotel! There are no facilities on site. You will be charged for coffee/ tea after the first day’s complimentary coffee pods and tea bags. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful.

L'appartement est très propre et bien équipé. Pour un hébergement 4 étoiles, le "plateau café" n'est pas compris (seulement 4 dosettes/thés) par séjour, c'est bien dommage. La vaisselle est faite tous les jours alors même si nous avons peu déjeuné dans l'appartement ce service est très appréciable

The sofa bed was very old and offered minimal comfort, while the main bed felt like a sheet of plywood with no cushioning, resulting in severe back and side pain and very poor rest (worthy of one star on its own). At check-in, we received an inexpensive bottle of Chardonnay as part of the so-called “VIP booking,” but this gesture did little to offset the overall shortcomings. The kitchenette included a small fridge, a stove that did not work, and a coffee maker with only two pods provided—additional ones had to be purchased. Despite booking for four guests, only three dingy towels were supplied. Many lights in the room did not work, adding to the sense of neglect. The walls were dirty, with hair stuck in multiple spots, which made it feel unclean. Noise was also a major issue: the pub/restaurant downstairs stayed open late into the night, and the adjoining room setup meant every sound from neighbors carried directly through. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and far below expectations.

Very clean hotel and perfect location walking distance to galleries lafayette and many eateries within walking distance. All staff were so helpful and friendly especially Matt who recommended us to few restaurants. Didnt get the name of the lady staff but she is also helpful and friendly. There was another guy on our check out date on Nov 27 also very helpful Forgot to mention check in was so easy. Very safe location too👍👍👍

The Deluxe apartment is a good size and very convenient location, plenty of great providores and restaurants at your doorstep and easy walk to Metro Stations and Galeries Lafayette. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and very clean and tidy apartments, it’s my second stay at Residence Nell and I will be back

Beautiful room with cute little balcony. We slept with the window open and woke up to the smell of fresh croissants from the cafe beneath us. Staff was very kind and informative. Very clean room. No complaints.

Didn’t have the standard of what I expected from a boutique hotel. Coffee, tea and water supplies not topped up daily. Curtains not blackout. Walls thin. Not enough self catering facilities. Old dirty sponge left to wash dishes. Trash bins too small to put much in. Only 1 half length mirror in whole apartment for 4 people. Not full length mirror at all in bedroom. Wet room bathroom did not work as had to past wet floor to use the loo. Bed was too soft. Bed sheets high quality though. Location convenient but did not sleep at all as it was too noisy with drunks and wash disposal trucks waking us all up at 6am.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO FIND A COCKROACH IN THE ROOM

The pictures and reviews were VERY misleading. The room smelled of mold and my wife had an allergic reaction. Place was dirty and felt very unsafe. We arrived from a long flight from the US and tried to take a quick nap. But we had no choice but to check out after only a few hours. We informed the manager and he refused any credit/refund of our 5 days that we paid for.

The sofa bed was very old and offered minimal comfort, while the main bed felt like a sheet of plywood with no cushioning, resulting in severe back and side pain and very poor rest (worthy of one star on its own). At check-in, we received an inexpensive bottle of Chardonnay as part of the so-called “VIP booking,” but this gesture did little to offset the overall shortcomings. The kitchenette included a small fridge, a stove that did not work, and a coffee maker with only two pods provided—additional ones had to be purchased. Despite booking for four guests, only three dingy towels were supplied. Many lights in the room did not work, adding to the sense of neglect. The walls were dirty, with hair stuck in multiple spots, which made it feel unclean. Noise was also a major issue: the pub/restaurant downstairs stayed open late into the night, and the adjoining room setup meant every sound from neighbors carried directly through. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and far below expectations.

Plenty of cafes, patisseries, markets immediately outside the apartment. Walkable to everything! Air conditioning worked great!

Spent 3 nights at Residence Nell. It is a truly great place, fabulous location, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, nice decor, superb concept and design... However, if you want a quiet and dark room to sleep, look elsewhere... the hotel is on top of several restaurants and bars and the noise goes on until the early hours of the day and start again at 7 am or earlier... the windows are paper-thin and clearly do not do much and it is as if you are sleeping on the sidewalk... no black-out curtains on the room either...

Apartment was nice, was really nice to have the separate living room / a kitchenette especially when travelling with a young child. The area was lovely and quaint with lots of really nice dining options around the hotel. It was a convenient location, we walked to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur one day and then to the Louvre the next day

There are pros, the price is good for what you get, you have a small kitchen and the spa e is great but the rooms are very noisy because you have bars around and you can hear all noises, they wake you up very early, you do not have black out shades, and when someone burns their food you can smell everything and alarm sound loud everywhere. La fayette Galeries are near but not that near like 15 min walking and a metro station is also there.. I would have prefer chosen another place..

Wonderful stay at this charming property. My family of 4 (two adults and two children) were extremely comfortable and very pleased with our experience. Location is excellent and the staff were all lovely and attentive. Would not hesitate to return.

We loved our stay at Residence Nell. The hotel is near great restaurants and the metro. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The entire staff is great and spoke English. We will stay there again and highly recommended this apartment style hotel to anyone.

Nice property. Bit tired. TVs have no connectivity which is annoying. Receptionist busy doing his own personal calls on reception loudly. Didn’t seek to resolve booking issue helpfully

Expedia charged us for our rooms and so did the hotel. Pretty horrible when you get get home and notice the hotel has charged you $3000 extra for your stay. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia did nothing. Poor customer service all around

With a 15-minute walk to Louvre and a 20-minute walk to Sacré Coeur, surrounded by outstanding restaurants and markets what's not to love?

We encountered absolutely no problems during our visit. The location was clean and we felt safe over there. What put it above and beyond was a staff. Everyone went out of their way to help us out.

Extremely impressed with the property and location. The apartment was a good size for a few days in Paris and had all of the amenities we needed, being able to access the balcony was also a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was also perfectly placed for us, with good restaurants and transport links close by.

The hotel is located in a noisy neighborhood, with people talking late into the night. It was difficult to sleep due to the noise. The breakfast offered limited variety. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient to many businesses and the room was cleaned daily.

I had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, with the evening market just around the corner and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room, or rather, the studio, was surprisingly spacious – definitely much larger than the typical Parisian rooms. Everything was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was served in the room, which was a nice touch, and while it was good, choices were a bit limited and I prefer just to have it served as a buffet. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location, warm welcome, lovely building, beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds. Only let down was the breakfast brought to the room in a shabby-chic crate - we’d suggest going to one of the many cafe bars on the doorstep instead. Overall - would definitely recommend!

El hotel esta muy limpio y a pesar que ya tiene sus años se ve que lo cuidan bien, la habitacion amplia, sabanas, almohadas limpias y de buena calidad, la cocineta es funcional, y debido a que el desayuno es demasiado austero y te lo llevan en una reja previa peticion dia a dia y es a base de pan, te, cafe y jugos y algunos complementos, pues hay varios minisupers a una cuadra y media para comprar huevos, jamon y fruta para lograr un desayuno mas completo.... definitivamente por el precio que tienen podrian ofrecer un mejor desayuno.....ahi si quedan a deber la verdad..... El personal amable, excelentemente situado, hay muchos restaurantes al rededor, Grand Boulevards esta a 3 cuadras y ahi esta el metro y multiples restaurantes y atracciones... si mejoran el desayuno si vuelvo la verdad...unico punto a mejorar

Résidence Nell is great! It has a superb location, apartment is comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily and it was good! In short, everything very, very good. Would recommend to anyone staying in Paris.
