The pool area is very unsafe

Clean, friendly and convenient. The hotel is a little outdated and the beds werent very comfortable but it was fair for the price. The inside pool is very loud (big echo) and the hot tub has been filled in with cement. Breakfast was mediocre but well stocked. I would stay here again.

Second time to stay here in a mth for doc visits for family member. Hotel is clean. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Indoor pool is supposed to be heated. First time was somewhat cold. I couldn't get in. Grandkids did. This time it was freezing, and not heated at all. I said something to front desk first visit that it wasn't heated. He just said, "I'm sorry to hear that." If you promise a heated pool, then spend the money to heat it for your guests. If that's one of the reasons they stay there, like us, they won't come back.

The elevator wasn’t working and the room ac was off and was very humid.

Best quality inn we have been to. If the pool water was warmer and more lighting in the pool area it would be even better.

Hotel was very clean including the room. Beds were very comfortable. Cute little kitchen like area with cabinets, kitchen sink, microwave, frig and freezer. Small coffee pot. I asked if pool was heated and they said yes. If it was it barely was so I didn't get in it nor my daughter. Grandsons loved it. But that was disappointing. I told the guy at front desk it wasnt heated, He just said, "sorry to hear that." How about, Sorry I'll fix that? Breakfast was nice.

Ughhhh!!! So gross. The elevator on the third floor did not work both nights and we had to take the stairs. We had a 2 queen beds in our room. One bed has been slept in and had multiple pieces of hair left behind. Breakfast was gross. At 7:00 a.m. there were no eggs and only sausage and pancake batter left. If you plan to attend a Baylor event, then stay clear and find something closer to the university because this place is disgusting! My kids are mortified, and so am! This would be a great place if you were looking for a Bargain Basement discount on a room or you are working in the area and need a quick go to.

Room was decent. Found a few issues with the sofa bed and you had to flush the toilet like 4 times before everything went down. Pool room was ok but the smell of chlorine overtook everything. The pool stayed extremely cold

I had a good experience during my stay. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. While the gym was in rough shape and the spa had unfortunately been filled in with cement, the breakfast helped make up for it—especially the eggs and sausage, which were surprisingly tasty. Despite a few letdowns, it was an overall pleasant visit.

Overall, the stay was worth the price. We needed an overnight stay without a lot of extras, so we wanted to find a low price hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was decent, and the service was good. We didn’t like the waffles as we thought we would, so that was a bit disappointing because we love to get the Texas waffles when in Texas! We were disappointed with the pool because the hot tub was covered with cement and the website advertised a warm pool, but it was very cold! That was one of the reasons we decided to stay there, so that was a bummer. Overall, the price was low and was good for an overnight stay.

Just stopped in for a place to sleep before heading out the next morning- was east and shockingly pretty clean. Only issue was long black hair still left in shower on wall. Otherwise, good.

Was surprised this hotel warranted a Wonderful rating on Expedia. It was average. Room had overpowering musky smell and area was loud. AC did work very well.

I enjoyed my stay for the weekend. Super clean room and welcoming staff in the front!! The only issue was that our room smelt like cigarettes.

Room smelled heavily of smoke, when I went to front desk, was told nothing they could do and offered a can of Lysol. Front desk checked for febreeze but could not find any. was also told no other rooms available.

Not sure how Expedia rated this wonderful 9.0. Our stay was okay. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The building smells moldy and was masked with Febreeze in lobby. Our room smelled slightly moldy but thankfully didn’t smell of Febreeze. Price is decent for what you get.

The staff at this hotel are amazing! When we checked out I left some of our clothes in a drawer. Housekeeping bagged them up and turned them in to the front desk and the owner shipped them back to us. Everyone I spoke to while we were staying at the hotel and over the phone after we left were all kind and extremely helpful. Probably best hotel staff I have ever come into contact with. Now, for the hotel itself, It is pretty run down but seems clean. You have to sign something when you check in stating that you will not smoke in the rooms (which I appreciate) but as soon as we got to our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. My husband went to the desk to inform the guy who checked us in (we didn’t want to be fined for something we didn’t do) and he did give us a can of Lysol spray to spray in the room to try to help with the smell. Later in the night a room down the hall from us was having a party and I could smell weed coming from the room when I went to get ice. Honestly, It’s a toss up on whether I would stay there again. We are traveling 3 different weeks this month and we were only in town for a football game so I looked for a hotel that was on the less expensive side. This hotel fit that bill. I wish I could take the staff and management at the hotel and stick them in an Embassy Suites! If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel with great staff, this is for you. If you are used to staying in “nicer” hotels, you may want to keep looking.

Friendly staff the room was clean and the hotel is close to restaurants & shopping

Check in was fast and staff was efficient and hospitable. The room and towels were clean. However, one of the bed spreads had stains and I could not figure out if they were old stains or dirty bed spread. We slept on the other bed.

The Queen Suite was great. Very spacious and really clean. Would definitely stay here again.

When we got to the hotel we found out that our reservation through Hotel.Com wasn't on the books. Luckily for us the man at the front desk had a room that was available. The room was clean but the outside noise was ridiculous, ALL NIGHT LONG. I understand that the Hotel has absolutely no control over the noise level from outside but we will definitely not be returning to this location on our next trip to Waco.

The furnishings and facility seemed a little bit worn and weary, but nothing specific wrong. Location was very noisy on corner of interstate and major multi-lane thoroughfare.

Fast,friendly checkin. Easy access to freeway. Room is dark and depressing… gray and brown carpet, worn dark couch and furniture. Need light colored laminate floors. Bathroom clean, plenty of hot water. Beds very comfortable. AC works great. Several fast food, low-end restaurants within easy walking distance.

The tv service was pathetic!! Spectrum was the provider. Nothing on the remote worked to select a channel on the tv guide. I had two tvs in the room and each had different channels available. Even though the room was nice and staff was great I probably would opt for another hotel in the area.

Easy access. Comfortable bed, soft sheets and towels. Large suite room. AC struggled to maintain temp. Really annoying hurdles to access “free” WiFi (sign up for their program or watch a video - repeatedly because it kept kicking me off). Wouldn’t attempt to work from the room on WiFi.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious.

It was clean and comfortable but the walls a thin - there were rooms around me with teenagers (possibly for a school event?) and they were in and out of their rooms, moving up and down the halls talking and they could be heard very easily. The water pressure and temperature were great, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had good options. Staff was also very friendly. I did not like however that because I reserved through Expedia that the staff claimed I could not get a printout of my receipt from the nights stay, that doesn't make sense to me, but nothing I can do about it.

Pretty close to Highway, so it has traffic noise. Office Lady was nice, Rooms clean. Not bad for price.

Couldn’t keep the room a consistent temperature to save my life. TV had “weak to no signal” on every channel except a soccer channel. Front desk lady was kind but offered ZERO assistance. She “doesn’t have a clue” as to why or what could be done to fix it. Offered to text the manager, but nothing came from it. The rooms were very spacious but very much felt like a dungeon. Pillows? You me the 4 THROW SIZED pillows that were covered with dirty pillow cases?! The room was VERY humid. Attempted to sit on the mismatched couch to watch tv and the front room was miserably stuffy and humid. Everything seemed “clean” but very much gave a grimy feel because of the temperature situation. ALL the bedding from pillowcases, both sheets, and covers were incredibly wrinkled like they either hadn’t been washed or were waded up after coming out of the dryer and not folded. Breakfast? Ohhhh you mean the pancake eggs and sausage that’s been reheated over and over? Or did you mean the “coffee” that has the same color of tea? Heck yea is probably even darker than there sorry excuse for bean water! Overall just not a “comfortable “ stay by any means of the word.

I mistakenly reserved a king room instead of double. The nice gentleman at check in switched it for me without any problems.

Sketchy at night. Fantastic in the morning and day. The night time staff was kind of weird Also the you can hear EVERYTHING from the room above. It's an okay experience. The day time staff were fast and incredibly friendly.

The gentleman who checked us was very personable and very efficient.

Afternoon/evening desk checkin guy was sour, rude & not welcoming at all, he also was very grungy looking. Our first room had an odor & we asked to change rooms which he did begrudgingly. Never greeted us when we came in or walked by the desk. Morning was very friendly. Cooridoors also had an odor. Bed pillows "sucked". Expected more from this brand & previous ratings.

Expedia is unreliable. What you book is not what you get. booked 2 queen beds and got handicap twin beds. Don't ever book with them again. Place was not located as it is described on Expedia site. We were able to get a queen bed because the person at front desk did his best to accommodate us but it was still a handicap room.

It was close to the university with easy parking

We liked the price during graduation day at Baylor. However the property was not "near the university". It wasn't far but to say near the university was misleading.

Good location for coming and going in Waco. You could get most of the things you need at the Truck stop, QT and a couple of near by restaurants. Facilities/rooms were a little worn probably from heavy use, but it was fine for myself on a work trip.

Excellent location, close to shops and downtown. Staff was very friendly, hotel clean, pool amazing. They have cribs available for families traveling with infants.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean & quiet. There were a number of dining, entertainment, & shopping options nearby.

great location, close to Baylor, Magnolia Farms and huge shopping outlet stores and food dining.

Facilities and staff were excellent. This facility was located very close to an interstate. There was a truck stop across the street and one next door. Exiting onto New Street was sometimes very difficult.

Breakfast was terrible and needs more hot selections the eggs are terrible and sausage links seems weeks old.

Excellent staff. Only minor complaint would be the coffee could be warmer as well as the oatmeal. Sounds silly, I know.

Rooms were clean and nice. Bed was pretty comfortable. I would stay again. I was surprised on how nice the room really was for the price. Front desk was nice and the breakfast was about average.

We typically stay with Quality Inn's when traveling. While this one was "okay," the free breakfast is worth it! Sausage tastes stale, the "faux" eggs firm, and the orange juice at this one was watered down. Had the breakfast tasted good, it would be worth the room rate.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel. A little bit of road noise, but not too bad. Breakfast could have been better.
