Sleep Inn & Suites Foley - Gulf Shores North

My stay at Sleep Inn was extremely disappointing. The hotel is clearly run down and not properly maintained. The room had visible mold, which is a major health concern, along with a strong musty odor that made the space uncomfortable. Cleanliness was poor overall—surfaces didn’t appear to be properly cleaned, and the condition of the room did not meet basic standards. The hallways and common areas also looked neglected, which made the entire property feel unsafe and uninviting. The biggest letdown was the breakfast. It was advertised as an amenity, but there were very limited options available, and the quality was unacceptable. It did not match what was promised at all. Additionally, the overall experience felt like the hotel lacks proper management and upkeep. For the price paid, this stay was not worth it. I would not recommend this property to others and strongly suggest improvements be made to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest services.

Staff is friendly. Waffles for breakfast. Clean hotel and convenient to shopping and the beach.

The linens and towels were in good condition. Housekeeping was every 2 days and one was missed during our 7 day stay. I wish the floors would have been cleaned as part of housekeeping. The corners in the bathroom were very dirty. The breakfast was a continental and seemed very sparse. You could make a waffle if you liked that for breakfast. The only protein option was yogurt. Even hard boiled eggs would have been a plus.
