Days Inn by Wyndham Foley - North Gulf Shores

There was a listing about a gym and there was no gym. I work out every day and it made my trip and stay not good.

The biggest issue for me is they straight up lie about having EV charging. There is none! They feature it as an amenity in their page and their Expedia listing. So, I had to spend over an hour going to a supercharger not to mention the extra cost I had not accounted for. I was going to stay here a second night on my return trip, but I have cancelled that and rebooked with another hotel. Do not stay here. Curtain rod pulled out of ceiling, cracked mirror, dated look, unhelpful staff, broken outlet.

The hotel pool was very clean

Very limited food or options at free breakfast. Stayed 3 days never saw that pool was open asked management and was told pool guy put chemicals in it and it would be open in an hour never was opened. I know you’ve got the beach close by but sometimes you just want to swim and cool off. Got clean towels each day only emptied trash once. Was an ok choice since most of time was spent not in the room.

The room was not very clean at all. The towels that were given me daily had black marks all over them and were stained. After getting out of the shower and walking around, my feet were completely black on the bottoms. Ice machine did not work. Very noisy at night

The floor was nasty, I had to go buy duct tape to pull the power cable so the lamp would work. Also had to tape the remote control so it would stay together. The microwave worked but you hit the 2 to get it to come on. The pool was terrible. I had to skim the pool myself for 30 minutes just get it clear enough to wade in. The free breakfast was very sad, and the coffee served was the worst I’ve ever had in 58 years of life. Other than that it was great. Only one roach and no bed bugs. I highly recommend the shrimp basket restaurant out front. Just know that you’ll be getting far far less than 5 stars.

Was working on some rooms but was nice. Very friendly people. Pool needs to be cleaned better.

The pool water looked green and there seemed to be some permanent residents just hanging around outside.

The outside was clean, my room smelled like dogs had been in the room. My refridgerator did not work in the beginning, no blow dryer, no towels in the room. Front Desk person told me that the person who handles this was on my floor now cleaning rooms and he would have to handle this that I would need to find him. This was on July 16th and it was super HOT that day. So I am having to run around and find him myself. He was very nice and did his best to accomodate me. They did get the refridge working for us. Their ice machine downstairs did not work, the pool was cloudy and was not clean. On Monday morning we left the room for the day and upon our return, our beds were never made, they emptied the trash and gave us clean towels and refilled coffee packets. On the morning we checked out, my granddaughter walked out the front office door after breakfast with me and she slipped and fell on some water that was leaking from an air conditioner. For the money I spent to stay 2 nights, I expected everything to be clean , stocked up with the things its advertised to come with and all electrial appliances in working order. I also think the leaks from the air conditioners should be addressed for safety measures.

Room looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. Floor dirty, broken and hanging vent cover In bathroom. I was at the same hotel a few weeks ago and placed into an updated room then. This room was not one of those and to add there occupancy rate wasnt were an updated room wasnt available. I was exhausted when i arrived from driving 12 hours and passed out on the bed once i entered the room. I regretted not going back to the front desk

Long hairs were lining the bathtub. Dirty washcloth left on tub. Rust on tissue box. Mold on lamp shade. Mold on mattress. Flies in room. Desk chair was filthy. Room was for 3, but only 2 towels. Only one coffee cup. This was a Wyndam property so I assumed it would be clean. Desk clerk was asleep when I left so I had to wake her up. For the price I expected a clean place. I didn't complain to management at the time because after looking at the room I figured all the rooms were the same. Definitely needs to be shut down and remodeled.

Blankets sheets filthy towels in the bathroom had hair on them…shower curtain with mold

The staff was very friendly. Our room wasn’t very clean. The floors were so dirty that our kids’ feet were black from walking barefoot. Overall, the whole room needed to be cleaned better. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Dirty floors, dirty sheets/blankets, dirty moldy bathroom, moldy ceilings. Disgusting

Honestly, it was terrible. There were bugs in our room. The floor was disgustingly filthy. I wiped it with a towel and the towel was black. Our socks were black on the bottom. The door wouldn’t close to the bathroom. It had a funny smell to it and the refrigerator was frozen over whenever we got there. It wouldn’t even close. There were guys smoking weed in the parking lot when we pulled up

Filthy- spiderwebs, trash under beds, questionable linen. Not what I would expect from a Day’s Inn by Wyndham

Room was dirty, mainly the floor!

The room was in horrible condition in need of several repairs and cleaning. Several small roaches on the bath vanity and on the floor. Bathroom wet area light hanging off ceiling with gaps open to the framing. Toilet paper holder filthy. Move on - do not stay here!

Rooms smelled like smoke, sink was falling off the underside of the counter, continuously had to have the keys reprogrammed, toilet seal was broken so the toilet rocked, AC was inefficient so it was hot in the room regardless of temperature setting on the thermostat, had to listen to people running up and down the halls all night. Not at all what I would expect for the prices they were charging (over $200 per night)

The room was ok, spacious and clean

It was loud. Literally hear everything. We could hear people at the ice machine, upstairs and right outside the door, all night and morning.

The check in process was great, the room was updated. The mirror has a huge crack in it on the corner. The floor was covered in dirt so there is no way the floor had been swept or mopped in between guests. The bed was not very comfortable and there was some really nasty stains on the mattress that you could see through the mattress cover. I’m so glad I didn’t see that until check out. The sheet was inside out and kinda made me feel like it was just flipped over for the next guest. I hope not though. Decent shower pressure. The walls are super thin. Heard a bird singing outside and felt like the bird was in the room with us. The lights outside blast through the room curtains. Spending any kind of money one expects cleanliness no matter what.

Half the outlets in the room did not work. We lost our key and when we went to the front desk there was no one there and the doors were locked. We called the reservation center and they tried to repetitively call and there was still no answer on the phone or at the door. The room was clean but we could not connect to the internet. The phone did not make outgoing calls, and they said it was not supposed to . This was a terrible stay for my daughters wedding. We were locked out and couldn’t even get her a change of clothes. We ended up staying at another hotel until we could reach the desk to get our things out of the room. They would not give us a refund or even apologize. Just blew it off like it was our problem. We won’t be staying at another Wyndham Hotel in the future. Terrible management and customer service was not there. We asked if they had a toothbrush or toiletries because our luggage was misplaced at the airport and they told us to go to the gas station across the street. We were shocked!

When we got to the hotel, they couldn’t find my reservation. I had actually booked the wrong day! But they were super nice and gave us a room anyway just like we had requested. It helped us out a ton. The room was fine, the beds were comfortable, the air was cold, shower was hot and clean. Tv worked well. Had a small fridge and a little dated microwave, but we didn’t use either. The only negative was there was a spot on the wall that looked like something had been built in and then moved and it was a little dirty with small footprints (obviously a child) had kicked off the wall onto the bed. Besides that we were very happy with the price we paid for the stay we got.

Overall I give a rating of 3 stars. The location was wonderful. But the room I booked had no working air conditioner, although I was switched rooms. The following room had poor lighting as well as no refrigderator

It was a fairly nice place to stay but the floor was so dirty that we had to keep our shoes on to not have black feet. Breakfast was not great and it lack a lot of eating options for a continental breakfast. There was not a continuous presence at the front desk but it was quiet and the air condition was great. Doors did not shut very well but they would lock. Refrigerator did not keep items cold and hot water was very sparse.

Rooms were old and worn and thats ok, but not very clean. Bed linens were clean. Shower handrail was broken and just hanging with rust exposed end.

The stay was fine. Hotel rooms could use a lot of work broken vents on air conditioner. Very worn room. Bed and tv were the only two nice things about the room.

I was directed to the wrong area in which my room was at. Upon going to the room and opening the door I discovered that I should not have had keys that room to open the door because it was already somebody else’s room.. I went to the front desk to notify them of the situation. They gave me a different room upon going to my now “new” room, it was filthy. The sheets were dirty, the mirrors were filthy, and there was obvious long black hair on the tissue dispenser and on the floor. When going to the front desk to let them know that I was not going to be staying there as I age did not feel comfortable and having teenage girls going to this hotel, and B, it was dirty I was treated very poorly as if my concern should not be concerns Upon trying to get a refund as I did not stay there for even 30 minutes I was denied that and told I needed to go through third-party as I did reserve initially with Expedia after going through Expedia Expedia then told me that it was denied because it needed to be given in reference to the refund it needed to be given through the hotel so not only did the hotel not meet requirements neither did Expedia. I have absolutely no reason to make any of this up. I was there not for pleasure, I was there for a high school Volleyball tournament and certainly did not have the time to be dealing with any of this in addition to scrambling around in a panic to find another SAFE and clean hotel hoping I didn’t miss their game. HORRIBLE!!

The property was fine but the staff checking out was not there. We waited 45 before the staff showed up from getting something to eat down the road. He did not come back with anything so that means he ate there. The door to the office was left unlocked and wide open so that anyone could go in. I found this to be very unprofessional for him and the hotel.

The hotel was mostly clean, there was a few things that you could tell had just been barely touched. The worst part of my stay was the woman who checked us in was so terribly rude to my friend and i. She wasnt nice, very snippy and overall unpleasant. Both in person and on the phone she was just unwilling to help

The staff are friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. And were even willing to answer my questions about what was available in the area.

Service by attendant was horrible, no towels or wash cloths in room,called the front desk she would not answer phone, walked down to office she was sitting there doing nothing just wouldn’t answer phone. Ask about towel situation and she gives me 2 towels and said that’s all they have. I won’t stay there again

There were no towels and property management didn’t seem concerned or cared that they had over 5 guest in the lobby requesting towels and no housekeepers on site

Staff was friendly but there were obviously people that lived there and we were woken up to the smell of weed at 6 am. Very disappointed !!

Paid over $200 a night for a King bed, expected that it would be clean and comfortable. Here’s what I encountered: 1. Towels and washcloths were damp and appeared used with dark smudges. The front desk promptly gave us clean replacements. 2. The Kleenex dispenser was dirty with numerous snot dried handprints. 3. The bathtub drain wouldn’t stay in an open position. I took a shower with a bottle cap from a bottled water lodged underneath it to hold it open. 4. There were dusty spider webs on the ceiling over the vanity lights along with a large spider. 5. The front door was filthy on the inside. 6. The ironing board cover had numerous dark spots on the bottom half. 7. There was a large empty space and there were three screws sticking out of the wall where an armoire had likely been at one point. The only place to hang clothing was on 2 extended hooks on the wall with several hangers provided. 8. The outside grounds were dirty with cigarette butts and litter. The next day I spoke to the front desk about all the issues mentioned above and was asked if I wanted to check out and offered an apology. I promptly explained that I was seeking a resolution. I already knew there were no vacancies anywhere nearby. I was politely told that someone would come to the room and address these issues. Everything was taken care of except for the cobwebs and spider. The bed was comfortable, the AC was cold, water pressure was good and the shower was hot. Staff were courteous and prompt.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful, however no one cleaned our room the entirety of the weekend. We had to ask for new towels every night, all of which were stained.

Literal it was such a nice area literally a block and a half from Walmart half a mile from the outlet mall restaurants and grocery stores close to the ocean I couldn't have asked for better

It’s not a five star hotel but it’s a nice three star that’s very descent , was very comfortable and very affordable for a quick weekend getaway , the location is spot on within walking distance to restaurants ,, you can actually have a few margaritas and not worry about driving back to the room . Overall it’s a good hotel

It was very noisy at night time trying to sleep. The breakfast area wasn’t very clean and when I asked the associate to wipe the table down she wiped the floor with the rag and then wiped the table with the same rag.

It was not clean. The floors felt very gross. The bathroom shower was not maintained as it should be and was dirty. Breakfast was all sweets. Cereal, yogurt, waffles. No protein available.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Wish they had more breakfast options.

The simple things. In room coffee was advertised but not provided. Breakfast was supposed to go until 9am, but both coffee carafes were completely empty by 8:30. Coffee is important to me so double bad. Also, neither of the soda machines onsite would accept any of my bills, one of them was actually unplugged. Had to hop in car to get a Mtn. Dew before bed!

They never cleaned our room, even after asking them to do so. We had to beg for towels. The coffe was cold in the mornings and the breakfast offerings were mediocre. On a positive note this is the only motel I have been in where th waffle maker works.

Especially liked the fantastic breakfast! Kids enjoyed the pool!

Everything was okay except the breakfast. The pool was green but we wouldn’t have used it.

Fishing trip. Just needed a place to stay. It turned out to be a great place to stay. Very clean, the person who checked me in was very friendly and fix the problem when the tv would not work. Complimentary breakfast better then most. Stay at Days Inn Foley again in a heartbeat.

The mattresses were visibly stained. It was the first thing my son noticed. The breakfast area is so small that if there are two families there then it's full. The breakfast is very limited, the waffle maker is the only hot option you have. Once the coffee runs out there is no more, no matter how much time there is left for breakfast, usually before 8 on busy days. They also let people in there without shirts, or shoes and you can't bring food to your room so it's very awkward. Y'all be hairy, have some shame and sense. On the upside, it's right next to the shrimp basket, and near many other food places so you'll have plenty of options. The staff was pretty helpful, getting me a trash bag, and ziplock bags that I needed for free.
