Ruby Emma Hotel Amsterdam by IHG

Uitstekend gelegen. Goed bereikbaar vanaf de Randweg met de auto. Maar ook uitstekend v.w.b. het OV. met de Metro en trein. Modern hotel met ruime parkeergarage. Was even wennen, maar het personeel was vriendelijk en gaf uitstekende hulp. Voertaal is wel Engels, hetgeen vreemd overkomt als Nederlander in je eigen land. Ontbijt was ruim voldoende. Alleen je kwark eten met een saus lepel, terwijl er wel gewone lepels aanwezig waren in voorraad bakjes, heb ik even uitgelegd.

I enjoyed our stay just not as many close options but loved that the public transportation was so close and easy to get to. Rooftop was gorgeous and loved the staff up there. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming!

Tolles Zimmer, superfreundliches, professionelles Personal. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Parken in Amsterdam wird nur hier zum Vergnügen. Rundum ein Garant für einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt zu einem günstigen Preis.

The room was clean and cozy. The staff was very friendly. Hotel offered a nice continental breakfast and an underground parking garage. It had easy access to the subway station. What I was missing is an iron in the room. And the area around hotel looked industrial (but safe).

Schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal im Service, Bar und morgens beim Frühstück. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer (Loft). Die Parkgarage unter dem Hotel ist ein großer Pluspunkt und mit der entsprechenden App einfach zu bedienen. Die Innenstadt ist prima über die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in fußläufiger Entfernung zu erreichen. Es war für uns ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Ruby Emma has a different way of doing business - pre-enter your information in their app, and check in without needing a counter clerk. Our first time was a little confusing but restaurant/check-in assistant patiently explained the process. Calling the elevator was easy and efficient. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and tasty. Bar service includes specialty coffees - great finish to a long day of touring! Location is a 2 minute walk to the Metro so getting around the city was so easy.

Nice hotel reception,, food very limited to. Bar snacks but there is a restaurant at the top which is very nice but very pricey. Rooms are cold even with the heating up full, we had to ask for a heater which they did provide. No tea or coffee in the room and water is filtered from basin tap. Good location for the metro, not much else around so again limited to the hotel, breakfast very expensive at ,€24 pp

Wonderful hotel rooms, nice location limited food options, restaurant on premises is separate from the hotel so not available for breakfast and is very hard to book for dinner. Breakfast it’s self is on the ground floor behind reception booth and is ok but again limited and not worth €20pp, I was expecting a full cooked breakfast with multiple options not to self serve my self toast and cereal. The bar is next to dining area but is again very casual and not what I expected, fine for a day time chill but would be nice to have something with more of a vibe and atmosphere for evening drinks/relaxing. Ended up visiting another hotel down the road for dinner and drinks because they had availability and much better options/atmosphere. I imagine the restaurant at this hotel is nice (I could not visit unfortunately as it was booked out every evening of a three night stay and didn’t seem to offer lunch) when the restaurant is busy during the evening it can be difficult to get up to your hotel room as restaurant staff seem to prioritize their guests over hotel guests and there is only one screen available to be able to call a lift from. The rooms are the best thing about this hotel, up on the 16th floor very spacious, nice views. Note there is no phone in the room to call reception, if you need any assistance you have to visit reception booth also no irons in room these are located on six floors in the hallway, so expect to carry your clothes out there to do any ironing. Very annoying

Excellent property in a residential area. Didnt really explore the area but it did have a little shop and the metro was very close. About 30 mins into the center from the hotel. Room was clean, well laid out and we appreciated the black out curtains. Good bar in hotel. No room service at night

Myself and my daughter stayed here for our 3 night break. We were visiting family so used this hotel as a base. We were impressed by the lovely, clean modern room. My daughter absolutely loved it. We found the room very clean and tidy on arrival. We had two single beds, which were nice and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We also really enjoyed the cocktails/mocktails down in the bar. The hotel is located close to the metro station, and local shops and a McDonalds.

Sauberes Zimmer, super Personal und sehr gute Verbindungen

The hotel is right beside the train station and even at 10th floor, trains can be really noisy. Trains come every few minutes and quite noticeable especially at night and early morning. We checked in and the room was supposedly cleaned but had puddles of water in the bathroom with hair in it. Additionally, the towels both had brown stains and the glass coffee cup also had a hair inside it. The ceiling is exposed concrete style with lot of moldy residue when you look up. The cleanliness was a very bad experience. The “automated” checkin experience was very confusing and had some difficulties which wasted our time and required staff to help anwyays. The location however is very convenient for travelling into the city centre at 5min walk from the station. The staff held our luggage on the day we checked out which was nice.

Overall the hotel was a nice experience. I did notice that there were stains on some of the bedding and towels. The shower also drained poorly and it was hard to avoid tracking water outside of the shower.

Personally wouldn’t come back. I had to report mess that was still in the room, crumbs all over the chair and the floor and dust under the TV all across the frame. I also requested something for my birthday this was not picked up. Staff were not attentive. First impression counts certainly wouldn’t come back I didn’t get the impression others were talking about online.

The air conditioning doesn't work.. why you can set the temperature in your room on a tablet, but yet the temperature never changes. Wasn't hot on our trip, but not was the hotel unbearably hot..bother than that beautiful hotel

Amazing. Lift system is awesome ! Never had such a short wait for an elevator. Rooms amazing. Speaker is a really nice touch View is great! Curtains and electrical system slightly annoying as if one person leaves the room the lights go out leaving the other in darkness. And the blinds would close randomly which was annoying.

While the property was lovely and the staff friendly and accommodating, the automated technology in the room led to a frustrating stay. The lights are remotely controlled by an iPad and some are also automated, so they come on when you don't want them to. For example, when you need to use the bathroom at night, the light in the WC turns on automatically, along with a bright night light in the hall, illuminating the room and waking my husband. Worse yet, I'm often the up before my husband

The A/C wasn’t working and I was not given the option to change rooms.

Very close to metro. Rooms were spacious and clean. We really appreciated the blackout curtains.

Kamer was schoon. Niet alle gebruikte materialen zijn top. Waardoor snelle aantasting en verkleuring. Open karakter van de badkamer, maar een beetje te open.

The room was so hot it was uncomfortable. Even with a fan we were given it’s was very hard to sleep. They don’t have ac in the rooms. Other than that is was a nice place.

This is one of the nicest properties that I have stayed at in Europe, very modern, spacious and high tech. It is further from the city center but is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, the Wow room really lived up to its name.

I recently stayed at the Ruby Emma and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the RAI Convention Centre and perfectly located for getting around Amsterdam. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. Breakfast was terrific, with plenty of fresh options to start the day. It’s also very easy to reach from Schiphol Airport, making travel stress-free. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

Unfriendly staff at reception. Staring at their personal phones and seem annoyed if you ask them a question, and forget service with a smile. Hotel is clean and room service is good.

The room itself was lovely. Very clean and stylish. The problem was check-in. It took ages as you have to do it yourself and there are a lot of questions to answer. Reception was a person with a laptop perched on a stool. They didn't have the local knowledge that you would expect from somebody with that job. Overall, a nice room but the hotel misses the human touch,

Not much around, but easy access to the Tram station. Suppose to clean our room 1 time, but never did. Overall not bad.

Self-service check-out was nice and easy but self-service check-in had some technical issues. I did receive help from the staff but what I don’t understand is if there is staff available, couldn’t they have just checked me in? Now I had to write down all the information myself while the staff was standing next to me doing nothing. That’s just weird to me! Anyhow the hotel was beautiful, clean and silent. Very good location next to the metro!

Well situated, staff was amazing, Charlie the bartender was so helpful and very knowledgeable about what to eat and where to go. Plus cocktails and customer service was excellent. Thank you.

Incheckningen lämnar mycket att önska. Hotellet använder ett själv-incheckningssystem som är både krångligt och opålitligt. När jag försökte använda en av self check-in-stationerna, som rekommenderades av receptionisten, fungerade den inte alls. Efter att ha försökt i fem minuter var jag tvungen att gå tillbaka till receptionen, där samma person då informerade mig om att “systemet har lite problem, så vi måste checka in dig manuellt.” Detta är både ineffektivt och frustrerande för gästen. Om systemet inte fungerar som det ska, varför hänvisas man till det från början? En mer genomtänkt lösning, eller åtminstone tydlig information från personalen, hade gjort hela processen smidigare och mindre stressande.

Very lovely hotel with equally lovely staff - always willing to help out where needed. Checked for us before our check in time if our room was ready sooner as our flight had arrived sooner than expected, and let us check in early when ready. Also held our luggage for us after checking out to return to get as our flight wasn’t until later in the day. The room was also very well presented and clean with amazing facilities and amenities. Would definitely return, thank you for everything @ the team at the Ruby Emma!

It was the first time i stayed slightly out of Amsterdam and it was perfect option. Great metro avfew steps away made getting into town a 10 minute journey. Ideal base if you do not wish to pay high cetral prices. Hotel was nice, staff lovely. Would definitely return.

Sehr praktische Location sehr nah an Metrostation Spaklerweg, da hast du eine toe Verbindung nach alles was Amsterdam zu bieten hat.

Great hotel, convenient for everywhere

Great hotel! Only a ten minute metro ride to central Amsterdam. 2 minute walk to the metro station. Quiet area. Beautiful clean rooms! Would stay here again.

Ontbijt is aan de hele hoge kant , € 24/persoon. Dit ontbijt is het zeker niet waard, let wel het ontbijt is lekker en de opties die er zijn is OK. Maar voor 24€ mag je u aan veel meer verwachten.

Excellent hotel with great amenities and a delicious breakfast. The heart of Amsterdam is easily reachable by subway.

Het ontbijt was geweldig met lokale - Nederlandse producten. Prima locatie dicht bij Metro en Treinstation.
