Postillion Hotel Amsterdam

Bra hotel fina rum ,med bra frukost. Ca 5 min gångavstånd till tunnelbana till centrum.smidigt med parkering under hotellet. ( men dyrt ) Tråkig omgivning runt hotellet och minus ingen parkering utanför hotellet vid ankomst. Lennart

1e keer hier een nachtje gebleven en het was uitstekend! Parkeren kan voor 25 euro per dag in hun garage. Op straat is dit 5 euro per uur. De metro (overamstel) is op 5 min loopafstand voor als je de stad in wilt of naar de Arena. 1 minpuntje was de lichtsensor in de badkamer. Die ging na 7 seconden steeds uit ondanks dat je aan het bewegen was. Dus dat is wel onhandig met douchen, tanden poetsen, naar de wc gaan etc. Maar verder is de kamer super high tech en de bedden erg fijn!

Prima hotel met echt super goede faciliteiten en parkeerplaats overdekt. Niets op aan te merken.

Le tarif du parking à 23.50 €/ jour pour les clients de l'hôtel est cher, 12 € aurait été plus raisonnable pour un emplacement excentré du centre. Le ménage des chambre est trop bruyant, les murs tremblent. L'attente de l'ascenseur trop long le matin pour l'accès au parking, environ 10 mn.

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit . Das Hotel war sehr Hundefreundlich bloß für einen Hund der nichts in einem Hotel in Anspruch nimmt sind 20.- € schon sehr hoch da würde auch die hälfte reichen . Vom Hotel gemietete Fahrräder waren Platt und die Bremsen komplett defekt was sich später als sehr gefährlich heraus stellt und das obwohl man zwei Hausmeister hat herumlaufen sehen . Im Badezimmer waren Bodenfliesen lose - Im Flur sind nicht schöne Flecken sichtbar . Trotz allem würden wir das Hotel aber nochmals Buchen

Has all the room basics and a small gym. Located close to a train station but other amenities (e.g. supermarket) are limited. Train links easily to city centre and conference centre. Staff very helpful. Would stay again.

Mit allem super zufrieden. Lage top-gute Anbindung. Tiefgarage abgeschlossen, modernes Zimmer, gutes Bett, in der 7.Etage super Ausblick.

The member of staff checking us in decided it was a good idea to serve the three people behind us before serving us to "give us a better service". I wasn't going to mention this as when I complained, they gave us free breakfast. Problem is, the breakfast was terrible. I got a bike from them and the guy who sold it to me told me where it was, it wasn't there, so I had to go find him to see where it was, to which he insisted it was where I was, I had to convince him to come and show me, the bike wasn't where he told me, he finally told me where it actually was and when I had cycled halfway to Amsterdam central, I realised it had a hole in the tyre. The staff are either very angry and obviously don't like you or are very happy and talkative, there is no in-between. Everyone I met from the bar was amazing but all the male staff on the front desk were standoffish and not welcoming in the slightest. The area around the hotel is a bit deserted as it looks like it's being built, but there is a metro station about 5 min walk away to get anywhere you need. This hotel is very pretty, it has good facilities, the room was a lot smaller than I thought, but had a great view but the staff massively let it down. I booked one specific room about 3 months before the stay and got asked which room I wanted to stay in when I got there. He even tried to downgrade my room (we paid for the best one). All in all, this hotel was ok at best.

Gute Anbindung zu Verkehrsmitteln. Modernes Ambiente. Frühstück war gut, aber nicht außerordentlich. Parkplätze für 25 EUR je 24h. Klimaanlage kann man an der Rezeption ausstellen lassen. Sehr nettes Personal.

The overall hotel was nice but due to the lack of proper cleaning the first room I was assigned to had carpet beetles (I found two) in between the bedsheets when I did an inspection before sleeping in it. Was assigned a new room and was notified that after each person’s stay a proper cleanup was made after guests with pets. In the new room although at first glance it appears clean, upon closer inspection I noticed LOADS of crumbs.debris and pet hair in the crevices of the mini couch and I noticed a mysterious puddle/stain on the mattress. It looked like oxidized blood(menstrual blood??). The mattress under the single bedsheet also had human hair strewn around and again, pet hair on the decorative blue bed cover by the feet of the bed. I was initially promised a compensation for the sudden room change by concierge under management but i received absolutely nothing and just paranoia for more bugs to be honest.

Clean, modern very cool place to stay. Views were nice and buffet breakfast was excellent.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Postillion and would consider staying there again. The front of house staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was nice and a good size. The cleaning was not that good, they forgot to restock items and we had to ask on a couple of occasions for things to be returned to the room such as towels and water glasses. The shower gel was not refilled and we had to ask front of house. Additonally the air extractors were filled with clumps of dust. Maybe they just don't have the time with it being such a big hotel? The location is fairly easy to get to. Not the most beautiful area but it's nice and easy with the public transport.

Wir haben wie gewünscht ein Zimmer ziemlich weit unten bekommen. Das Personal war auch immer freundlich. Wenn man nicht so genau hin sieht, ist das Hotel schön gestaltet und sieht jung und modern aus. Für einen Stadetrip mit dem eigenen Auto ist die Lage sehr gut. Bahn ist nur ca. 5 min entfernt und das Auto steht sicher in der Tiefgarage. Die Autobahn ist auch ganz in der Nähe. Leider haben wir bereits bei Anreise komische Flecken an der Wand neben dem Bett bemerkt ( Tomatensosse?), die wir selbst entfernt haben. Im Bad ging es dann auch mit weiteren Flecken / Spritzer an der Wand und an der Schiebetür innen weiter. Die Smart Home Gadges haben nur bedingt funktioniert und am Telefon hingen alle bunten Kalbel schön heraus...Die Klimaanlage ließ sich leider nicht ausschalten. Da wir in der ersten Nacht deswegen kein Auge zu gemacht haben, wurde diese auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption abgestellt. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem und sind auf Rollen. Das Frühstück ist nicht angemessen für den Preis. Hätten wir da svirher gewusst dann hätten wir in der Stadt besser gefrühstückt. Der Fußboden im Früstücksraum ist leider auch sehr dreckig. Wir würden das Hotel nicht nochmal besuchen.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind, always ready to assist. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, which was great for relaxing. Overall, the stay was great, and I would highly recommend it!

Beds were very small, mattress too soft and they're on wheels so it slid around constantly. Overall place was fine. The room was clean, had all necessary amenities and we could get into city centre via metro very easily. They need to rethink the lighting system, it's just inconvenient having the only light function on an ipad stuck to a wall on one side of the bed.

The staff were very friendly on Check-in/out. The facilities in the room were fantastic, all digitalised, even the blinds and not to mention the TV in the bathroom.

Nice hotel with modern exterior and interior. Good and "fresh" furnitured, clean rooms. Good public transport availability with the location not far away from the Amsterdam's city center. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect sound insulation of rooms. "Over-engineering" that's annoying: Sensor-contolled light turn-off in the bathroom.

Streaming to TV didn't work, AC was loud and lights in the bathroom turn off during shower.

The quality of this hotel was excellent. They even had heated floors and a TV in the bathroom!

My mother in love and i stayed here while vacationing in Amsterdam for a concert! nice hotel in a great location, would definitely recommend and stay here again. Shavelli at the front desk was absolutely amazing and provided the best customer service from check in to check out! thank you all!

Staff was very friendly!! Room was clean, in good shape. AC was out of order while we were there but we got free drinks and free parking on the property for our stay to make up for the inconvenience which was very good and saved us a lot of money. I'd come here again!

Lange wachtrijen bij zowel in- als uitchecken. Verder deed de airco het niet en was het 25+ graden in de kamer. Direct bij binnenkomst gemeld en drie keer over gebeld met de receptie. Er zou worden teruggebeld omdat ze druk waren en/of ze zouden er iets aan doen. Beiden is niet gebeurd. Toen ik vertrok was het nog steeds 25gr. Slecht geslapen daardoor. Van een duur vier sterren hotel verwacht je een betere service.

Very luxury and clean room, helpful staff. Location was great, it was out of the city center but metro station was close by. You can reach anywhere you want easily

Easy walking distance from the Metro stop. Excellent buffet. Quiet, clean room with modern features. Have now stayed there 4 nights and would book again.

Mooi hotel met prima uitzicht vlak naast metrostation overamstel, hierdoor makkelijk naar stad en arena te reizen. Vriendelijk personeel, maar bijna allemaal geen NL sprekend.

We had 2 adjoining rooms, which was great for family stay. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work properly, it was very cold first even when we tried to change the temperature, it made no difference. The hotel reception was very helpful and turned the cooling off, however, it was way too warm then, and even when we tried to put temperature to 19, it was still going up as high as 25 degrees. We had to sleep with windows open. Other than that everything was great. There’s a metro nearby that takes you to the central station within few minutes so it was very easy to get around the city.

4 star hotel just a few stops on the metro from downtown. Good breakfast. As advertised.

Very modern, new and nice new hotel. Went for dinner and was a bit disappointed. I asked for a Negroni and they couldn’t sell me because “it wasn’t in the menu”. Then I asked for a dish and the waiter didn’t know if it came with a side dish. I told him to add in case it didn’t come with one. Dish arrived with 2 side dishes. However it was really delicious fish!

Excellent staff. Very good restaurant. Close to metro.

綺麗で、スタッフの人たちも優しかった。 朝ごはんも、メニューがいつも同じなのは少し残念だったけど、おいしかった。

Super comfy,clean and spacious rooms, Staff were really helpful. Adding the breakfast cost €19.95 a day which seemed quite expensive

Veldig flott hotell som ligger nær togstasjonen. Ca 13 min med tog til central stasjonen. Elektriske lys, gardiner, tilog med tv på badet. Liten minibar og isbøtte som kunne fylles med is fra automat på gangen. Fant ingen matbutikker i nærheten, men det var tilgang til blandt annet fibo og mc donalds. Også room service 24/7 som hadde pizza.

Muy mal servicio con la comida, no te dan a escoger que quieres comer, te traen una cosa a la que puedas ser alérgica, no te preguntan nada
