We chose this hotel because it advertised itself as pet-friendly. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The hotel has a strict policy that dogs are not allowed to stay alone in the room under any circumstances. This is a very important piece of information that is not clearly communicated during the booking process and is difficult to find unless you carefully search through the hotel’s website and pet policy. If we had known this in advance, we would have booked a different hotel. Calling a hotel “pet-friendly” while having such a significant restriction is misleading. Most people travelling with their dogs expect to be able to leave them safely in the room for a short time while having dinner or visiting an attraction. The hotel itself was nice, but I would not recommend it to anyone travelling with a dog. The hotel should either make this policy much more visible before booking or reconsider describing itself as pet-friendly.

Clean and tidy hotel with excellent decor throughout. Friendly staff with fully featured rooms - and a 24/7 pizza service just to top it off. We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return if coming back to Amsterdam
