Super 8 by Wyndham Blythe

The property is being renovated. We checked in and room was clean by r could not get the heater to work. We were given a space heater which we only needed the guest night. We had to ask for the bathroom window to be repaired. They cam e promptly and fixed it. Breakfast was non existent. We we given honey buns and granola bars the night before. No coffee or anything else the next morning. We stayed four nights and got other honey buns by asking. No one in office by 7 AM in mornings. They working hard to get the property finished but need to work on customer service presence.

The staff was very friendly. Well lit area. Price was right. Was worth it and served it's purpose.

The vending machines were inaccessible. Lack of continental breakfast.

Pool was empty, no breakfast, no ice, bathtub was dirty and the water was brown.

What is portrayed and promised on website is not available at hotel. The owners are blaming all the problems on Wyndham not delivering for them . They are restoring a 60 year old hotel and not ready by any means to be open. They have painted over rotten wood on structure you can see daylight around the room door wood missing literally and new locks installed anyway. We could not bring ourselves to use the shower tub due to the condition. I had asked for walk in shower and told it was not available due to being plugged up drain. When we asked they said they were going to get the tubs replaced, really? Went for complimentary breakfast and they said they are still waiting on Wyndham to send items, sorry. This properties parking lot is totally dangerous. I have a walking disability due to stroke and the asphalt is full of potholes and loose gravel . The handicap parking stalls have 2x4’s nailed around them . This property has many more issues too many to list but it is not ready to be open for business yet. I think it is a case of people getting in over their heads with a project and cutting costs. We would not even think about booking here again! I can’t believe that a representative of Super 8 or Wyndham would not have visited the property before putting their name on it.

Great staff at an older facility that has been updated. Well lit parking lot. Comfortable, clean room. Worth the price.

WHAT A LOW CLASS DUMP! This motel is HORRIBLE... They charge $60 dollars which we believe is over priced by a lot. They were still cleaning in the rooms three o'clock this afternoon they said they only had one king room available and I would have to wait for it to be cleaned, I told the lady I don't want to wait If I don't have to there's got to be something else as there's nobody else here. So after about 30 minutes she found me a place next to the place that was being cleaned. And as soon as we got in the room It was not what we were expecting at all. Please look at the pictures The room itself was just average the whole room had two lamps in it and they were not very bright except for at night they got a little brighter. Look at the bathroom area it is horrendous There were spiders in there I killed one my husband killed two I almost fell in the bathtub because it was so slippery and disgusting The ad said there was breakfast when we got here they said no breakfast Anymore The swimming pool is closed both of those were still listed in their website & Hotels.com. I also came here to do a little swimming as well During the day. We got into the bed and it was extremely itchy it looked like it was clean, but it was not 2 pillows were flat, My husband and myself our bodies were itching all night felt like sheets or blanket were not washed for a week, during the night both of our noses got stuffed up bad and we were sneezing throughout the night.

Staff was very nice upon arrival. The facility is very old and outdated. They are in the process of remodeling, but the upgrades are not professional. Looks like the handyman is doing the upgrades. The continental breakfast included warm coffee in a carafe and Hunny buns. We had to request towels and extra toilet paper. Heating was a space heater plugged into the wall. The price reflected the accommodations though. I don't think I will return.

The linens were dingy and stained (?clean). Numerous repairs were needed, an outside door frame was split. I spilt some water and wiped it up and the cloth was grey with dirt … the laminate floor needed mopping

The room was 100 degrees when we got there. They turned the ac on when we arrived and the room did not get cool until morning. Brown water came out of the tap and shower. The fridge was not cold. Paid almost 200 and was absolutely not worth the price.

Sheets were stained, spiders in the room, the bathtub was chipped, air conditioning struggled to make the room cool. Overall, rundown. No breakfast was available even though it was advertised.

The staff were pleasant and responsive but the room was dirty. The bathtub had what appeared to be construction debris in it, the bathroom floor had not been swept in some time. The exterior door did not completely close, light was visible under the door and at certain parts around the door. I will never stay there again.

I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy!! The only good thing was the bed which appeared to be the only new thing in the room! In the information it says it has a coffee maker, (but I had to go back to the front desk to get it and some coffee), fridge and microwave, it did have both, they were awful. The floors were dirty, I could see outside light thru the door and the sides of the A/C. The bath room was disgusting. Expedia should take this dump off their list because posted pictures look NOTHING like the actual room. YUK

We were going to cancel after seeing the place/location, but had no choice but to stay, cause we already paid through Expedia and it’s pass the cancellation period. The place is old and dirty. They’re renovating, but the owners are doing a DYI job so it’s not nicely done. The sinks/showers are grimy and dingy. The tub was bleeding rust. There was a group of men staying in the motel that made us feel unsafe. It looks like they’re living there until their work/contract is done. They were yelling profanity at each other (they were occupying the whole second floor 6-8 rooms) they were so noisy waiting for their food, that a truck delivers to them daily. There was a spider and cricket in the room. The door get stuck, like you need to use your whole body to open the door. The front desk is also the housekeeper and the maintenance is also the housekeeper. The breakfast included was bite size muffins and terrible coffee. The tub and sink wasn’t draining well. There’s no pool. For $108 a night in Blythe, it should be more. My daughter also got a pink eye after staying at this motel. The only plus is the staff is nice. But I’m so sorry I have to be honest, the place needs to be professionally renovated, it’s Wyndham! So please if possible stay elsewhere, specially if you have kids and if you’re all Women. It really feels unsafe.

Check in was ridiculous. Had to stand at 10:00 pm in the dark outside and check in thru a boarded up window. Crickets and bugs everywhere. Her main concern was did I have a pet. My main concern was am I safe out here. The door didn't open until I used my hip to push it. No lights. Room was extremely HOT. And here's the worst part....the sheets were dirty...clearly slept in. Bed bugs in one of the beds and crumbs too! The frig had the last guest's food in it. The tub was stained and GROSS. The shower curtain was disgusting, yellow and brown. Crickets were in the room. The bathroom didn't have but 2 towels for 4 people. We walked backed to the window outside and the clerk said to give her 10 min to go find some. No coffee maker, no microwave. Just dirty floors (sandy) and clearly the linens were reused. SOMETHING OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE.

When we arrived, the manager was nice but we were told the breakfast that was supposed to be included wouldn’t be because they hadn’t received their toaster yet…? We checked into our room and the first thing I saw as I walked in the bathroom was a giant cockroach which my husband killed and flushed. We decided that was not a place we wanted to stay and told the manager we would be leaving and wanted a refund to which he agreed. A week later we still haven’t gotten it so I called Hotels.com and they reached out to the hotel. She spoke to the same manager who said he wouldn’t refund us because “no cockroaches were found.” Duh!! We flushed them! We were in that room for two minutes… why would we lie?! Bad business and will definitely never stay there in the future.

Lock on the door did not work and i thought i was getting complimentary breakfast but they said that it was offered through the old management. Lol.. Whatever!

We rolled in after 13 hours on the road. Checked in and went to our room. Opened the door and started looking over the room. Beds were way too soft and not in the comfy way. Went to go shower and quickly decided against that because the shower was not the best looking and poor workmanship. The tub had been painted and paint was peeling everywhere. Heat source was a space heater that you plug into the wall. A/C unit was mounted in the window and the window was not secured and had big air gaps where the machine was mounted. I get it, this is a cheaper hotel chain but you can have a cheap hotel room and still be a nice hotel.

No coffee in the room, the toliet handle was broken. Old Super 8. Not enough towels for two persons. Won’t go back!!

Rooms are old but clean.

Heater doesn't work and electric power go off two times in 2 hours

Ordered 2 queen beds room but got 2 full beds room. Turns out all listed queen beds room are actually full beds room. Also the towel rack fall off suddenly while I flush the toilet. Microwave in the closet cannot open fully and makes it unusable. Luggage rack also broken.

Motel is mostly remodeled & has modern furnishings with excellent wifi, would stay there again!

When he walked in it smelt clean. Then we went to turn the hairdryer on, and none of the plug-ins worked all, but the one by the front door Air came in under the door. It was cold in the room they had a small space heater, and when we plugged it in it worked for a little while and all of a sudden it blew the circuit and everybody lost her power. Didn’t feel very safe in there.

Bathroom Hot and cold water isn't working well. I had to take a cold shower! The air conditioning is so loud. A bed is a comfortable thought. I was dead tired, so I slept well! Close to I-10.

We were totaĺlly satisfied with our stay at the Wyndam in Blythe, CA.We think the hotel is under new management and they were really attentive and considerate to our requests. There were no coffee makers in the room but he went out of his way to get the coffee and maker and delivered it to our room himself. Attentive and kind.

From walking in to check in we were treated with amazing customer service till we checked out. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this motel

When I typed in directions to get to the property from Arizona it said it was temporarily closed. I tried calling several but there was no answer. My husband and I were going on a cruise the following day And had to frantically search for a place to stay that night. Luckily we found one but too far. Expedia called the property to find out what happened and to facilitate a refund but they refused. I called as well and at first the person at the counter said that they would relay the info to the manager but when I called back they refused. Insisted they were open and would not refund! Do not book this place they are shady! Almost $100 down the drain!

The check in process was super simple and the staff were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

We have considered Wyndham properties to be a well respected group. But, i need to complain about your super 8 in Blythe, CA. Have you not been there? Filthy dirty bathroom sink, dirt smeared on door moldings, bathtub not finished and dirty, old coffee grounds in the filter, garbage dumpster overflowing onto the ground, intense over whelming air freshener smell that was sickening. Horrible experience! 3 women, 1/2 a roll of toilet paper when we check in. No spare roll. We go to office to request one more roll and was told no. We then asked for 2 extra wash clothes. Was told no. He finally relented and gave us 2. Our request for an extra bath towel was also met with a firm no. 2 towels for 3 guest in a 3 queen bed room! We tried to explain to him that one coffee pod, making 1 cup of coffee, would cause a fight in the morning, and requested 2 more pods. Big NO, followed with "you can come into lobby for coffee." There was no coffee ready in the lobby the next morning. Continental breakfast featured coin size pre-packaged "muffins." Our friends came in at 10pm. Their room had no bedding, no pillows, no towels, and was gross. Their room was never fixed or given bedding or towels. This hotel should be condemn This Super 8 is part of Wyndam properties.

It’s fine for an overnight or couple of days stay but the Marriott it’s not Plus it’s in Blythe so it’s not like you want to hang out there. Roger the manager does go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable !!!

Chose this one on price - overnight stay as part of a long touring trip. The room was OK - however the location was awful. I am sure I chose the wrong part of town to stay in - it was bleak and not pleasant. There also seemed to be quite a number of semi-permanent residents - they had their own barbecues going outside their rooms.

Hotel is old in not such a good neighborhood Livy stunk

Room not ready, furniture missing, dirty floor. Group of young men harassing clients, name calling, noisy. We left before our second night and lost our money, but did not feel safe enough to stay.

Motel could use a bit of upgrading but for the price we didn't expect the Ritz. Disappointing that the advertised breakfast was not available.

Breakfast not there. Not even a coffee. Poor lighting. Curtains in bad shape. Bath tub needs to be redone or replaced. Air conditioner had cardboard and masking tape around it. Only good thing was clean comfortable bed and properlt functioning TV with wifi. Should have been warned of construction and no breakfast available. Pictures available.
