Highly recommended budget hotel for a female solo traveller. Ari and Gabriel at reception both speak english and were helpful throughout my stay. Rooms were incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and are serviced daily. Fabulous on site cafe, run by the lovely Monica is open from 7am mon-sat, serving breakfast and the best espresso coffee in town. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

The staff at Lorimar were very kind and helpful, and the facility was in great condition. The owners had done recent renovations , and it showed. I would only add some bedside lamps.

Llegue al Hotel el viernes 30 de septiembre, demoro una hora en llegar el recepcionista/dueño y mal genio. Le pregunté que si tenía estacionamiento me dijo que no, que se estacionan en la calle. Quise pagar con tarjeta de crédito y me dijo que no cuenta con terminal. De 650 pesos que decía la página me quería cobrar 950 pesos, para mi no reunía las condiciones. Decidí cancelar la reservación, con la persona llamada Michel, se supone que el cancelo mi reserva, al final me dijo que no le quitara el tiempo. Cancele reservación en la recepción. Para mi un pésimo servicio Muy mala experiencia.

El cuarto es pequeño pero limpio, reservé una habitacion con 2 camas y llegando me dijeron que no tenian, asi que me dieron un cuarto con cama queen , me devolverían dinero mismo que no hicieron, los cuartos no tienen television y el hotel no tiene estacionamiento propio. Parece mas como un hostal. No lo considero para un viaje en familia.

Property appeared to have undergone some renovations. All white, new floor tiles and clean as far as the common areas and our room were. A couple of blocks away from the water. Responsive and friendly Manager and staff. Would go again for another short stay.

There is a step up into the bathroom. I had to pay attention as I almost fell. Then remember to step down. It was a small room with a bathroom. I can not say anything bad about this place. I found it safe, comfortable and really clean. Slept really well. The staff were great upon check in and check out. Truly it was amazingly clean. I gave it the white glove and the bedding smelled wonderful as well. Bed was also very comfortable. Close enough to the Malecon and far enough away that there was no street noise. The air conditioner was quiet and quickly cooled the room. I only needed it for a few minutes to chill the room, then I turned it off. There was no TV which was nice. I fell asleep without it. Also that way there were no other units with loud t.v.'s. Other guests were respectful for I never heard anything after 9 p.m. This hotel is what it is and for the price it is perfect. Like a private room with a bathroom in a hostel. Many thanks to the housekeeping staff, your awesome.

The bed was hard and the pillows flat. There were no lamps or a TV in the room. It was supposed to be a queen bed but was a double. The drapes were supposed to be black out but weren’t. It was a very plain, very bright but clean box. We were handed 2 towels and air conditioner control and pointed in the direction of our room. No hand towel or floor mat for the shower.

The Suite was nice, clean, and comfortable. A spacious kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom. The patio was a huge plus. The cool ocean breeze that flows through the entire suite is really superb not needing any air conditioner. A true vacation condo with lots of privacy.
