My number 1 want from a hotel, since my trips are in the summer, is that the air conditioner works well. The Hotel De Ville's AC was the best I have enjoyed in a hotel including some that I paid a hell of a lot more for than I did the De Ville. The walk-in shower was also excellent. The staff was polite and helpful and you are in easy walking distance of the North Beach. Parking is 9.99 a night but it was pointed out as you make your resevation and there is a good chance you can park in a covered space. If you are looking for a clean, safe no frills place to stay this is it.

Didn't like that we had to pay to park in a parking lot of a hotel we paid to stay at for the night. That is an added cost that I didn't appreciate. Front desk guy could have been nicer or more helpful when checking in.

It was terrible, be prepared to pay for parking extra, we couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool it had green water, no lighting in the restrooms, clogged toilet. For the money that I paid, I expected at least minimum services. Will never go back!

Overall experience was great! Check in and out was quick. Cold a/c. Strong shower pressure and basic essentials provided. Pool was dirty and beds were a little uncomfortable but other than that a well provided Hotel. Would recommend.

The overall room was updated and nice. The carpet does not appear to have been vacuumed- ever. We wore our shoes and placed towels on the floor. I understand that they were short staffed due to "two people quit their jobs yesterday", but if you are booking a room make sure its cleaned properly. Otherwise, a nice stay with views of the bay which is within walking distance.

In the past my wife, son and my self have stayed at Hotel De Ville. This is the worse. There was no toilet paper, the land line phone was broke. Cord would fall off the receiver. Most of all this room, 120 was not swept. You could feel the sand on your feet. I did take pictures on these infractions. I do plan to take these infractions to different agencies. Would not recommend this location.

Property was dirty. I told one of the staff members that there was a full trash can that was leaning against the stairs by our room that needed to be removed. As I checked out the next day, it was still there. No elevators, so it was hard for my mother in law to climb 2 sets of stairs, even though we were on the first floor. Looked like there was sand in the bed sheets as well as sand on the floor. I felt dirty staying here and would not recommend. Definitely a motel.

The furniture was pretty scuffed up and covered in water rings. I only had 1 small desk lamp for the entire main room, so I had to unplug it and move it if I wanted light in another area of the room. There were dirty towels from the previous person/people. One of the sinks was sticky. There were pencil lines on the wall from where outlet placement. The top door lock was difficult to use.

2 Star Hotel with the softest bed I have experienced at a hotel in ages. Room smelled lightly of sanitizer and bleach. Shower was extra large and easily fit two people. Maybe a block to the beach, which we could see from our room. “ Love the barn door touch and the matching furniture pieces. Easy to walk wet from the beach to the room and crash. Great location.

Great location. Friendly staff. The only issue was our A/C in the room kept turning off and on. Not cycling, but literally shutting off and then turning on during the night. Made it difficult to get a good sleep.

Very nice hotel. It is dated but they have tried to make it “look” newer on the inside. The king size bed in 104 absolutely SUCKS!! It has huge sink holes on both sides and boards trying to hold it up but pushes up higher on the mattress making it to where you will roll a little if you sleep in that section of the bed. No elevator bites.

While the staff at the front desk was kind and helpful, and the location was perfect for the area that we wanted to be in, this stay was disappointing in that it was a motel, not a hotel. It was pretty worn and has not been updated in awhile. The lighting inside was dark, especially in the bathroom and the sheets were wrinkled up like they were either brand new and never washed or they were not changed prior to our stay. There was a large puddle directly in front of our door that was difficult to side step going in and out of our room, and when I pointed it out to one of the employees passing by, she shrugged her shoulders and stated that “it’s always like that”… the property simply doesn’t look like it is advertised, and we would not stay there again.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival. Floor was sandy and not mopped. TV remote was not working properly. One of the beds had broken coils on one side and was pretty much unsleepable. Called front desk to take care of the issues upon arrival and she stated she was busy and would call us back; she did not. Stayed in a dirty room for two nights.

The staff was so nice loved the customer service. Its close to the beach you’re able to walk and it’s not too far from the Lexington boat, and the Aquarium. The property is average but it is not bad for the price.

We tried to check in 45 min early. no guests were in the hotel. It was empty. I was told there wasn't any rooms available. and they would call when one was. We didn't stay there since we wanted a room and was only 45 min early and we drove around for an hour and didn't hear from them, so we checked into another hotel. very disappointed in the way we were treated.

Really love this place we have stayed here several times and never disappoints. Love the rustic look inside the rooms This time only one thing they charged my card 3.50 and when I asked why he said I bought a candy bar for # I didn’t and 2 I didn’t even know yall sold candy bars so my thing is not the money it’s the principal that to be more aware of who your charging purchases to but love this place. Very close and convenient to restaurants, the Lexington and the beach. Oh and I wasn’t charged only because I brought it to their attention so they removed the charge before processing card

First thing is we drove about 3 hours away n tired and they said room was ready but they said we had to pay 25.oo to check in an hour early. BS!!! THEN, they wanted to charge $100.00 service charge for any destruction of property. No where did it say there was that charge. Never stay here again!!!

We had to make last minute plan changes and Hotel DeVille was able to accommodate us. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a great view of the bay and North Shore Beach! Absolutely no issues!!

Loved this place. Just a short walk down to the beach. Walked to USS Lexington and the aquarium. Staff was super friendly. Got discount tickets at the hotel. Loved the beach decor of room. Would stay here again for sure.

Colourful Beach Front hotel situated on outskirts of Corpus Christi, but a short drive into the City. Hotel had an abundance of free parking with complimentary coffee in reception but no breakfast service, although plenty of eating places nearby; particularly the Fajitaville Mexican restaurant and Captain Blackbeard’s, both a short walk from hotel. The Hotel is raised from beach on wooden stilts with a boardwalk passage around the hotel’s two levels. Our room was conveniently situated near the stairs where we parked our car. Our room was on level one with a beach view. It was spacious with a comfortable kingsize bed, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator and the room was spotlessly clean. Receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and a great ambassador for Hotel Deville. I would thoroughly recommend it for a visit to Corpus Christi.

This property was run down. When booking not notified of only paid parking, no breakfast. At check-in not notified of closed pool, no maid to clean, bring coffee, towels. When concerns were brought to staff and manager, all they said was , sorry. Rooms had lots of water damage and mold.

Me and hubby stayed at this hotel for our anniversary weekend. They had an ice machine which was great but no working vending machines which would have been helpful when all the nearby convenience stores close around 11pm.

I made our reservations literally five minutes before we arrived, after leaving a HORRENDOUS hotel (Do NOT stay at the Quality Inn on the same street!) about two blocks away. We got a beautiful room with an ocean view at a very reasonable price. The staff was polite and helpful, no matter who was at the front desk. The only thing that could've made it any better is if they offered breakfast. It's a little further from the beach than some of the others, but you still get a great view of the ocean and, if you walk on the access road, it's still a straight shot that takes about five minutes. There is also a restaurant behind the hotel that we didn't check out, but it's worth putting on the list. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.😊😊

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an updated room which was extremely nice. The beds were super comfortable. I loved how there was so much within walking distance. Only downfall, no breakfast or pool but we knew that when booking. A hose or shower to rinse sand off outside of the hotel would be great.

Great view of the beach from our corner room. Staff very friendly. AC unit doesn’t cool rooms very effectively in the beating heat of a Texas summer but we were fortunate to have brought a fan with us. Hotel is very dated and furniture is old and very scuffed. Overall comfortable stay. Be aware there are no real amenities though…no gym, no pool, no breakfast, no elevator, shower only in the rooms. Not deal breakers. There are a few restaurants nearby and there is a Planet Fitness close by if working our is important or the beach is just a two minute walk.

No breakfast at all. The office needs signage so u can find it. The hotel sign itself is on the side of the motel instead of the front, so not that easy to see. The room was very nice, clean, the floor needs attention, one of the tile is loose. The lighting at night was great! The outside was very clean!

Staff was nice but... bathroom light was out phone did jot work. The ocean view was a resteraunt which i paid 3x nore then a normal room . No outlets by the bed of course as i knew no breakfeast oe pool but even the vending maxhines were not working. Basic cable. Half the chanels were audio only. I exspected much nore for almost 200 a night. Basic room may be worth it but nor ocean view

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We only stayed one night. It was perfect for that. It's definitely worth the price if you're staying 1-3 days like a weekend or just going to the beach. It was really close to the beach access and a 3-minute drive to the aquarium and the USS Lexington.
