Very lovely b &b and extremely convenient to go into the center of town without driving which was a plus with the Fourth of July weekend. Dining at 315 was fantastic and very enjoyable on the patio. Parking is on the street which is fine except during holidays, where because of proximity to downtown park area gets a lot of cross traffic and parking gets a bit scarce.

The wait staff for restaurant was very friendly and helped me get set up. We also got a $35 credit for restaurant which served a very good dinner. The room was on the 3rd floor,no elevator, no light In small shower, window opened awkwardly, couldn’t get TV to work

We had a wonderful stay at Greenbriar Inn. Parking was tight, though much of that was probably due to the contractors and equipment for reroofing the building.

Fantastic gem of a hotel. It’s a historic 3 story house, sort of like a B&B feel. You check yourself in using a code you get prior to arrival and get an actual key for your room (not a card). The first floor is the restaurant which was AMAZING. Such good drinks and the food was so fresh and good, 5 star plating and taste. The room was really cool. Was in room 4, it has a separate bedroom and sitting room. Built in 1908 so yes, you can hear other people walking around in other rooms and stairs but not a big deal. No elevator that I saw so be prepared to carry bags up. Staff was sooo nice, especially the bartender, super friendly and kept the conversation going. Mike (the owner?) had homemade granola in the room and yogurt, cheese and fruit in the fridge for breakfast. Bed was soft and super comfy. Just a couple blocks from the main scene downtown and 4 blocks from the lake. Would 100% stay here again!

This is not a 3 star hotel. It’s a creaky old house with lots of stairs and dirty carpets. Didn’t find out the restaurant wasn’t available until after booking. No cancellation refunds available. No staff available at the inn. Only given a code to let yourself in. It was clean though.

The room was very nice and spacious. They had a community breakfast offering in the hallway outside the room that included yogurt and granola. It was classy, with bedside chocolate mints left in the room. Very nice. For the area it was a good value for the price.

Greenbriar is a wonderful place to stay. It’s clean, convenient, quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Parking was no problem. Even the several flights of stairs to our room proved no obstacle…..& we are in our 70’s. We received a voucher for the on-site restaurant and had a fabulous dinner. I definitely want to stay here again. It’s a hidden gem of CDA.

No one to greet you at check in. Very old, smelly. Furnitures look like it was bought in an antique store and not renovated. Overall, terrible setting for an in. Not sure about breakfast but so for a few items have been piled up in the hallway.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Quiet. Room nicely stocked with coffee and tea choices. Delicious continental breakfast. Dining and food was excellent. Todd was a wonderful server. Knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely stay at the Greenbriar Inn when back in Coeur d’Alene.

Great food as they have restaurant on site. Service at front counter nice. Our room was at the top and was clean and quiet but our bathroom was across the hall and very small and I didn't use the shower because it was like 5 and half feet tall and I'm 6' 7". My wife who is 5' 8" didn't like it either. If you're 60+ like me and need to pee during the night, you have to put on your clothes to go into the bathroom across the small hall. I would recommend staying here but not our room at the top.

Wow!!! When we first arrived I was a little bummed- our room was on the third floor-(no elevator)- Mike did offer to help us with our bags up the stairs, and the bathroom was across the hall. I did rent the least expensive room and you know what - third floor room and bathroom across the hall made no difference at all! Greenbrier Inn is AWESOME. A very short walk to downtown Coeur d’Alene- which is a fantastic walking downtown on the water. We used the $35 food voucher at the restaurant 315- OMG!!!!! The best food. Our waiters name was Todd if you can, ask to sit in his section. He guided us through the menu and suggested drinks to pair. And speaking of drinks- ours were amazing I had a tequila and cilantro deliciousness and my husband had a “marvelous” old fashion. The point I’m trying to make is they tasted great and had a decent amount of alcohol. This restaurant is a GEM. The Inn is a great place to stay in a lovely vibrant town. To the staff- Well done!

This is restored, antique property. A subdivided hundred year old mansion on a beautiful residential street about two blocks from the waterfront/downtown. I'm a senior boomer who appreciates antiques so I understand the vintage vibe this place sends out. Travelers that don't get that, may be turned off by squeaky floors, thin walls and tiny baths. This place was delightful during our two night stay. We ate dinner downstairs one night and it was a nice atmosphere and the food was outstanding. Top feature: BEST in-room air conditioning unit ever!

I was able to walk to most everything. Staff was very friendly & helpful. The ambiance of Briar is lovely. I had a cocktail outside as I waited for my dinner party to arrive it was peaceful. Delicious meal the first night. I was at the top and there are stairs for those who might have problems. I had a glitch at check in for code but Michael was available to fix it. Look for the text. I would stay there again & hope to.

We really enjoyed our stay - comfortable old house with a lot of character. Staff were very nice (all of them) - and service was absolutely perfect. Dinner and brunch at the restaurant were very good. Walking distance to downtown and the beautiful lakeshore was a big plus. We'd stay again if in the area!

Lovely visit to celebrate a birthday. The manager upgraded us to a bigger room, at no cost, because no one else had booked it for the night, which was very thoughtful! Check in was easy, the room was lovely. The staff at the restaurant were friendly. It is a great location, easy walk to so many places in Coeur d'Alene! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic gem of a hotel. It’s a historic 3 story house, sort of like a B&B feel. You check yourself in using a code you get prior to arrival and get an actual key for your room (not a card). The first floor is the restaurant which was AMAZING. Such good drinks and the food was so fresh and good, 5 star plating and taste. The room was really cool. Was in room 4, it has a separate bedroom and sitting room. Built in 1908 so yes, you can hear other people walking around in other rooms and stairs but not a big deal. No elevator that I saw so be prepared to carry bags up. Staff was sooo nice, especially the bartender, super friendly and kept the conversation going. Mike (the owner?) had homemade granola in the room and yogurt, cheese and fruit in the fridge for breakfast. Bed was soft and super comfy. Just a couple blocks from the main scene downtown and 4 blocks from the lake. Would 100% stay here again!

Was located on a residential street. One thing to improve upon is to let you know where the key to your room is located in the email. Entered the building and didn’t know where room key was located. However the fine staff was there to assist me. Restaurant staff were very friendly and engaging. Food was very good and tasty. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quaint place to stay and eat.

Greenbriar is a wonderful place to stay. It’s clean, convenient, quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Parking was no problem. Even the several flights of stairs to our room proved no obstacle…..& we are in our 70’s. We received a voucher for the on-site restaurant and had a fabulous dinner. I definitely want to stay here again. It’s a hidden gem of CDA.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Quiet. Room nicely stocked with coffee and tea choices. Delicious continental breakfast. Dining and food was excellent. Todd was a wonderful server. Knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely stay at the Greenbriar Inn when back in Coeur d’Alene.

Very lovely b &b and extremely convenient to go into the center of town without driving which was a plus with the Fourth of July weekend. Dining at 315 was fantastic and very enjoyable on the patio. Parking is on the street which is fine except during holidays, where because of proximity to downtown park area gets a lot of cross traffic and parking gets a bit scarce.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent and with the $35 credit was very reasonable, filet mignon, ribs and chicken wings and two fancy cocktails for $44!! Can’t get it that cheap at McDonald’s!

The Greenbriar (aka 315) was the perfect place for me to stay while on a business trip in Coeur d'Alene. Incredibly convenient location, lovely room with all the comforts, a friendly and helpful staff and an amazing on-site gourmet restaurant to boot!
