El hotel está nuevo y muy bien atendido. No tiene acceso directo a la playa y hay que bajar unas escaleras bastante empinadas para poder accesar. El acceso lo cierran a las 8 PM, por lo que no se puede estar en la playa después de este horario. La alberca la cierran también a las 9 PM, lo que resulta sorprendente para un hotel de playa. No es un lugar recomendable para disfrutar del mar por los horarios que manejan para acceso a la playa y a la alberca.

We’ve been to mazatlan 4 times and the previous three we stayed next door at the Holiday Inn. This property is an upgrade, although the fitness center was somewhat lacking. Loved the room, view, and proximity to the Malecon for walking. This is the Golden Zone, so it’s deemed relatively safe. Lots of Americans and Canadians. Be sure to eat breakfast down the street at Pablo’s!

Todo excelente lo único un poco incómodo es la bajada a la playa , ya sea por escalera o por rampa , es algo incómodo para algunas personas , si bajas es hacerse a la idea de quedarse ahí buen rato en la playa , y que no olvides bajar todo lo necesario porque estar subiendo y bajando muy dificl por lo menos para nosotros que tenemos problema en nuestras rodillas , lo demás excelente

La alberca el agua no está bien tratada y los filtros parece q no funcionan agarre una infección en los oídos y de mis diez días de vacaciones solo disfrute los primeros 5 los demás fue una odisea con mis oídos infectados y los meseros en el restaurante necesitan estar más pendientes de los visitantes y poner más atención en el servicio el bar de la alberca muy bien en especial al bar tender Jesús muy atento y amable el restaurante bien el bar adentro bien recepción bien los empleados de la puerta bien cositas q tienen q arreglar para tener una buena estancia gracias

I stayed here few times before and loved but it’s sad to see how they don’t enforce deep cleaning on room and bathroom floors nor furniture with damages as a one star hotels. Other than that is a nice and convenient place to stay

The hotel was very good. Rooms were clean & in good condition. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. The area is walkable - nearby restaurants and souvenir shops. You can also walk to the boardwalk & there are lots of little cars to transport you to nearby areas. We took a taxi to/from the airport. The price was the same as an Uber. The view from the rooms and common spaces is BEAUTIFUL!The pool is heated, which was amazing! But it would be small once the hotel gets full & it honestly could stand to be cleaner. Overall a super relaxing and nice stay.

Entry doors don't close properly, bathroom doors broken, shower mold in corners, balcony doors don't lock, hallways haven't got cleaned once during 5 days of stay, ignorant staff. Maybe not they fault but still, noise construction next door. Will not stay again, very disappointed.

Like other reviewers will say. The smoke alarm has a very bright LED which blinks all night long. The air conditioning works extremely well, but I wish it dehumidified as well as it cooled, This may not be possible I guess. This property is beautiful and new but it is already starting to show its age(water features in valet, pool tiles, railing to pool. The property seems like it was rushed into business. There should be multiple hooks to hang towels in the bathroom, and by the front door. The deck was great and the chairs were actually pretty comfortable, missing a little coffee table. The buffet was nice to try but i was expecting more “American” options. There were cruise passengers that would come through and overwhelm the staff, annoying for those of us actually staying at the hotel. Our room was cleaned and reset daily, very nice. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Pool gets chilly after sun down. Sun deck was great. I don’t know if it was just the time of year but the Sinaloa bands were out in full force. Sometimes there would be four or five bands playing on the beach and they are very loud, this on top of music playing at the adjacent holiday inn and at the pool bar makes for a deafening afternoon most days, but this seems to be the norm in Mazatlan! :)

We loved our stay because the view from the pool and rooms is amazing. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything. Also, the service was good and the common areas decoration is modern, it doesn’t look beat up like many other hotels in Mazatlan. The only bad things are the pillows, super uncomfortable, and the mattress could be better. We enjoyed our stay.

La propiedad no está a la talla de la marca Marriott. Al llegar, encontramos vidrios y suciedad en el piso. La ropa de cama no estaba limpia y el baño siempre estuvo húmedo porque el extractor no funcionaba. Los sellos de silicón que dan a la puerta del balcón estaban botados y con las recientes tormentas, el viento soplaba en forma de silbido muy agudo. Por suerte, este último detalle fue solucionado con rapidez. De los tres elevadores disponibles, uno estuvo fuera de servicio todos los días de mi estadía. Las toallas de playa que ofrecen a los huéspedes son muy pequeñas y por si fuera poco, nos obligaron a consumir $500 pesos de comida seca e insípida para poder usar los camastros. Inaceptable. Para ser un hotel con menos de 5 años de haber sido inaugurado y con el respaldo y prestigio de Marriott, deja mucho que desear.

Our room was always well cleaned, our room was a suite, but was nothing like one. Not a photo on the wall, a weird couch in another room. Disappointing. We had two great patios, but no table to put a drink or anything else. We had to bring in a chair from the inside in order for us to have a table on the patio Overall, great location, great beach. Very few chairs at the beach perhaps eighth in total.

Room was great! Service not good at all. Started with wifi. Front desk person said they would send someone to the room. We stayed 8 nights . On the 7th night my wifi was working. We wanted to sit on beach and have food and drinks . The resturant and hotel next door that has nothing to do with this hotel catered yo us daily . Then one day we almost were told we vould not sit on the chairs in front of our hotel . We had to prove the room we were staying at was ours in which we did. Hotel is in a very nice location and very clean. They need doneone to come in and show them how catering to their clients could make them much more money! The sraff next door looked for us each day

Best location in the Gold Zone. Several restaurants, bars, retail shops, etc. just outside of the entrance. Inexpensive cabs lined up at all times. Close to bus route (taking bus is almost free). Every room is ocean front. Walk in shower with good water pressure. Fast internet, and everything in the room worked perfectly. Super comfortable bed & excellent restaurant. La persona con la que hicimos chek in. Fue una señora gorda de bluson azul. Súper grosera, me azotó hasta las tarjetas de acedo y eso porque primero me dijo que tenían que atenderme en la otra fila quienes primero me habían mandado a la fila donde estaba la señora gorda de cabello negro. Tiene pésima actitud de atención al cliente!. Ojalá pudieran quitarla pues la actitud no solo fue conmigo. Trató igual recibió la persona de atrás de mí!.

This might be a Marriott property but definitely not the customer service of a Marriott, unless this is the new normal within the chain. No customer service what so ever from check in to check out, our room was late at check in by an hour no help to take luggage to our room no instructions as to how the elevator system function at the mazatlan properly and you are definitely better off purchasing drinks outside the property because body is manning the bar area at the pool or elsewhere very understaffed property along with an absurd amount of noise from the Banda music that can play well into the night. Beware this is not a Marriott quality property.

Once again we choose this location for our 5 night stay, the staff at this hotel are incredible! Bar service inside was awesome Guillermo and Manny mixed up some amazing drinks! The pool service was also fantastic! Our check in was super easy thanks to Lidia and the rest of staff! I would absolutely recommend this place

I am going to split my review into two sections (good and bad): Good: 1. Location. Within walking distance to lots of good restaurants and bars. 2. Pool swim up bar staff were excellent. Special shout out to Jesus. 3. Room and beds were very comfortable. Bad: 1. They constantly ran out of pool towels and the towels were small and of very poor quality. 2. Too many people coming into the hotel on day passes and talking all the sun loungers etc. 3. The towels in the rooms were restricted to 2 (one per person). Despite repeated requests we were told "NO". 4. The hotel is rated at 4 stars, but I would probably give it 2.5 at best. 5. The price for drinks and food were very expensive compared to other hotels that I have stayed at in the same area. 6. Bell boy was very slow bringing our luggage to our room after check in. (we waited almost an hour!) 7. If you are looking for a hotel with a more Mexican atmosphere, this hotel is not for you. I named it the "Plastic Palace" ! Would I stay there again? Not likely. There are far better hotels in the locality

La alberca muy bella con muy buena vista, también las habitaciones. El servicio de alimentos a la habitación terrible. Muy malos, regrese el platillo porque no era como en la descripción era de muy mala calidad y me lo cobraron estuve buscando al supervisor o gerente y nadie dio la cara. Razones por las cuales no regresaría. No tuve agua caliente en la habitación, tenía que estarlo terminando a mantenimiento .

Too much sun, no garden! Breakfast buffet too expensive and food was not that great. Coffee was bad. Very little selection on side dishes. Service needs to improve. Didn’t like the bracelets too wide! We love the view from our balcony.

Booked a Marriott based on prior stays and although the site was beautiful and clean the dining was terrible, took a a long time to get food wait staff disappeared for 15 mins at a time and at each meal (3) something came incorrect based on the menu description. Ie missing items.
