Booked at 930am. PAID FOR TRIP COVERAGE... FOR WHAT?! CANCELING THE TRIP WASN'T AN OPTION AFTER 6AM. Property is run down and sketchy looking, parking lot was total crap, parking was a joke. Look for a different place to stay thank me later and don't pay for trip coverage, it does not cover ANYTHING.

Tv didn’t work for 121.00 a night

The bed and pillows were comfortable and my room was clean. Parking is easy but there’s two floors without an elevator so call ahead if you need to be on the first floor. Donna, who checked me in was so very friendly and welcoming. Great stay overall!

Hotel was not ADA. There were 2 floors with no elevator. I am in a wheelchair and was placed on the second floor. When I ask if I could change to the first floor I was told no it would be full. Unless you got up real early there was no hot water. You had to turn the hot water on full just to get luke warm water.

I enjoyed my stay here. The bed was comfy and everything was quiet. The staff was nice. The property is old and a bit dated, but it's very clean and the parts that matter have been updated, like the furniture. I loved that I could open the windows, old places are nice like that. It's a simple place but has a lot of thoughtful touches. Best of all, there's a couple restaurants within walking distance. I only had a couple drawbacks: my room had a baked in scent to it, like old cigarette smoke covered up by floral cleaner. Some folks might not mind it, but I'm allergic to scented carpet cleaner and laundry detergent, so I'd politely suggest using unscented products in the future as a best practice. Also, there was great water pressure but in my room, 215, there was a lot of buildup in the shower head so more water went out of the shower than in it. There also wasn't enough hot water for more than a few minutes at 7 am. But if all you need to do is sleep, it's a humble place with thoughtful touches and everything you need :)

It was a good location . It was lacking parking that's the only downside.but other than that we stayed in the back we had a king size bed .quiet

The rooms are small and the rooms with the balcony are never available to stay in which sucks. Also there's no staff at front desk ever after a certain time and the doorbell video thing you can't hardly hear them. Otherwise it's decent for a 1 night stay. Another thing the driveway and parking lot is horrible potholes everywhere and people park stupid.

This hotel is kind of run down. The telvision didnt work. It seemed to be clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However rated facility moderate as huge potholes in driveway. Also the TV service kept freezing and needing to reboot to watch any programs.

We reserved a king bed and got a double bed which was like sleeping on a bowl of Jell-O. The bathroom floor was unclean, showing dribble in front of the toilet, obviously the floor had not been mopped recently.

Great Trip to Wisconsin except for this overnight. Actually arrived around 9:30 pm and felt very unsafe, the motel is a severely in need of maintenance, no place to park, stairwell to the room was filthy and disgusting, my wife refused to use the shower due to the uncleanliness, worst overnight in our 40 years of traveling, checked on our vehicle a few times during the the night due to the cars parked in the area having major damage to the vehicles. I do not like to write negative reviews but we felt it was important to notify travelers to avoid this location. Thankfully we only stayed one night and left at the break of dawn very tired due feeling unsafe.

A very clean & cozy, accessible motel with super sweet staff. At the time we stayed, the facility was under landscaping upgrades. Room was very nice, clean & quiet AC! Will definitely stay again!

It’s an old hotel, property kind of run down, but the rooms where clean and comfortable. The price is well worth it if you’re just looking for a clean room to sleep. Just remember it’s not the Hilton!

It’s a very basic hotel, the property could use some upgrades, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. For the rate charged that’s all I was looking for.

The AC units are gross and couple of them looked like there was animals good or somthing in vent...i took it apart and cleaned them myself in the rooms i have stayed in...and the TV wasnt working 1 night and the lady i called snet somone out but shesent them to the wrong hotel. And it was midnight or after so she put me in another room cause i was tired and wanted to sleep.

I have stayed here many times. I'm always greeted by a friendly staff and my room has always been clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

Honestly the only good thing about this motel hotel, is the fact that it was cheap, the parking area had big holes so you definitely had to drive with caution, and the room was very bland and had nothing to it pretty much. And the bathroom is tiny, im 6'2" and it was a struggle to really move and I guess be comfortable. This place is okay for a quick sleep and that's about it, also the bed is very stiff too. There was nobody at the counter, you had to use a ringdoor bell and even then you had to wait. Even in the morning nobody answered at all for checking out, even called the number on the window and went to voicemail.

Hotel is perfectly serviceable for a stay; clean if slightly outdated, good location, reasonable price. Bed was comfortable and clean.

Checking in was weird, they had a Ring door bell, it took ringing it 3 times before they answered, I had to put a code in a lock box, which wouldn't work... had to try a second lock box. Parking was hard too... I noticed the property next door was parking in the motel spots. When I entered the hallway to my room, it smelled like a Marijuana factory... the next morning, the shower is extremely small, but water was hot and great pressure so that was nice. Went to check out and no one was there. Had to drop key in the box. Overall was disappointed.

The room was cute and clean, no landline, and didn’t care for the over the phone check in process at 9 pm at night.

Good basic accomodations, very clean. Don't expect luxury; it is what it is, a clean place to sleep and shower for not a lot of money.

It's not to bad. It's quite. It's clean compare to most Motels/Hotels in this area. The price of the stay is ok.

Room 119 at the far back had a nice king mattress, nice clean sheets, 5 pillows, fridge, microwave, tv, desk, enough space, room-darkening curtains. It smelled ok & I was able to open the window wide and let in a lot of fresh air, there is just a lawn & pleasant suburban street in view. The room with the toilet and shower stall was a little cramped but tile was in good repair. This was the least expensive room in the Madison urban area this Friday night and proved a bargain, really I sacrificed nothing. There are potholes in the parking lot, the structure is far from new and they will never be able to expand the bathroom to achieve luxury status - so what, what do you need? I had all I needed for a good night of sleep and was happy here.

The room is clean but the interior condition feel old and need to be update. The bed wasn’t that comfortable to sleep on. The front desk was nice and kind of slow. The shower really need to be update.

Room was warm. Looked like the picture. Bed sits high off the ground n the frame is skinny medal. I stubbed my toe on it. Kind of dangerous. Good night sleep.3+.

I called in advance to determine whether I could stop early in the afternoon to check-in - only to get my room key. I was told Yes. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. There was a sign that instructed you to call for assistance. That didn't work. There also was a Ring doorbell which did nothing the first two times I used it. On the third try, someone did show-up and said there is No early check-in but upon looking-up my reservation agreed to give me my room key. Strangely I had to put down an additional $50 security deposit. The room was very small and extremely dated. However, the king size bed was comfortable. The parking lot is full of pot-holes. At 9:00 AM the next morning, there was no one at the front desk to check-out. I had to leave the lone room key I was given in a drop box. Hopefully I get my $50 deposit back without a delay. There was a Bunn coffee maker in the lobby but no coffee in it.

It was clean and quiet. Was glad we paid ahead as there was no one at the desk. Followed the directions there to call but she said she was busy with another customer. After 15-20 minutes a housekeeper came to clock out and she gave another # to call. They gave direction on getting our key from a key holder on the wall. Never did see a person at the desk even when we checked out. Placed key in drop box. Desk closes at 9:30pm and sooner on Sunday.

After 45 minutes they sent me across town to another location. Both locations were dumps but the 2nd one was literally at a dead end road behind the city dump. Super loud, both patrons and the window AC units (one next door sounded like tornado sirens every 15 minutes)

I was pleasantly surprised with the accomodations, the room was simple and functional as well as comfortable. The guest service representative at the front desk was friendly and professional. She certainly made me feel welcomed. The location was in close proximity to restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance.

When I asked about coffee in the morning, the Manager was extremely rude like it was the dumbest thing that she\'d heard. There is no coffee in the office area and no coffee maker in the room. I had trouble getting the AC to work and called for help. There is someone on staff at the hotel, but she made it clear that she was not happy about being bothered. Check in is done remotely over the phone and you retrieve your key from a lockbox. When I returned the next day I parked in an area where I had seen vehicles the previous night and the manager came out and instead of coming over and talking to me like a civilized person, yelled at me from the far end of the hotel and said that I couldn\'t park there. There were not any "no parking" signs and none of the parking spaces are clearly striped. She didn\'t like the second place I parked and yelled again from over a hundred yards away. This hotel strikes me as more of a place for an extended stay when someone is trying to get back on their feet. It was however very clean.

we got there and the property manager said we couldn't stay because i wasn't over the age of 21. i am 19 and my fiancé is 22. we've stayed at many different hotels together and never came across this issue. when we tried to work with the manager she said it was in the policy but NO WHERE on the website or in the building was a policy stating that. when we asked to see the policy she printed it out but refused to show it to us. she said she was refusing us service because she didn't show us the policy when we asked to see it. the way she handled the situation was way out of control. she called the cops on us because we were understandably upset that we drove 8 hours and couldn't even stay in the motel. and called me underage and said i was not an adult because i can't buy cigarettes or alcohol. which makes no sense. she locked the window and called the cops on me and my fiancé. she was also looking in all the windows of the motel, she stated that we are permanently banned from their 8 location because she refused us service. over all a terrible experience. when we asked to get our refund she said she doesn't do refunds at all so i had to get a hold of an Expedia agent and after the agent contacted the property she gave us our refund.

Old school, good quiet place to stay during a busy time in Madison during commencement weekend.

I enjoyed my weekend stay. It was delightful and conveniently located near various food establishments, petro/gas station and upon my arrival there was friendly front desk agent to welcome me.

The neighborhood was sketchy and the “parking lot” had potholes you could swim in. There isn’t really a parking lot. It’s just a driveway going past the building that you park along the side of.
