Great place, in a great neighborhood. Only compliant I would have the underground parking is pricey. And you can only buy 1, 3 or 6 days (we stayed 5). FYI Parking is manage by another company.

Spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath. Great location. Needed more blankets for the sofa bed. Rooftop was a great photo op!

Our first experience with the apartment/hotel setup. It really would have been an excellent stay if it weren't for a couple of things. First the shower head was loose and water would spray from the top of the shower causing the floor, toilet seat and toilet paper to be wet. I wish there was another TV in the bedroom (if this was explained in the description, my fault for missing it). The TV set up was a little confusing. The device that plugs into the HDMI port and the USB port of TV confused us because the USB was not plugged in. I was looking for device to plug the USB connection into. I didn't imagine the device plugs into two separate ports on the same TV. I think a TV with built web capabilities might be a better option if you're looking to utilize the Chromecast function. They lobby and the courtyard were really nice.

Good location in secure building near plenty of places to eat and shop.. Walking distance to target field. Parking was expensive.

Enjoyed the roof top patio. Only thing is we couldn’t stay up longer.

Lovely apartment and great location, but a bunch of small cleaniness issues. Bed was deeply uncomfortable and linens were not great. Parking was a pain as you had to pay daily and there may or may not be any spots left. It was restful and very beautiful overall.

Loved staying in an apartment concept with a kitchen, washer and dryer, instead of hotel. Only one bar of soap was provided so had to move it back and forth to the sink and shower as needed. Pan needed to use the oven was missing. Needed a sheet pan or foil to reheat some left overs. Rug and carpet needed cleaning.

We asked for a king bed, and when we didn’t get one, we asked why and they said it was not guaranteed. There were some garbage on the floor in the bathroom. The TV was unplugged and very hard to use. We were there for two nights and they only offered two caffeinated coffees and two sugars for two of us. Randomly, they had salt and pepper in little to go bags. Overall, it just looked like it was owned by someone that didn’t care about their property, and was just looking to deposit a check. We would never stay there again.

The room was in great shape and the location was superb. We were able to walk to the football stadium (about 25 minutes) and the baseball stadium (about 8 minutes). There were nice restaurants within walking distance. The room was extremely clean.

Everything was mostly good. Comfort of beds, cleanliness of the place. The water pressure in the shower was not so great and they had forgotten to put soap in the bathroom.

It’s a clean property. But when I checked in, a dishwasher was not emptied and full of dishes and cups. Also, water pressure was very lower. TV is quite outdated. Don’t expect streaming services using TV in the room…

Our stay was awesome! The only issue we had was finding parking. It wasn’t exactly as located but we did find the correct location. Set up was great! Only thing that we all struggled with was beds. They were close to the ground and super hard

Nice large and airy space.

What a nice little apartment! We'll be back! Pros: - lots of restaurants within a few blocks, plus Whole Foods w/liquor store is nearby - towels - comfortable bed - kitchen cooking equipment includes 2 small sauce pots, a medium skillet, a large pot, spatulas, corkscrew, pizza slicer, a cutting board, a grater, and a couple knives. - appliances include toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and clothes washer and dryer - products included 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher tabs, 3 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels, and 1 tissue box - the AC works great! - quiet and feels private despite being right downtown Cons: - we couldn't get the hair dryer to work, but I'm gonna say it was user error lol We picked up anything we needed at Whole Foods (2 blocks away). If you're up for a slightly longer walk (about 12 blocks) check out Strive Bookstore!

Apartment vibe with an ownership feel. Loved feeling like I was just stay at my place downtown instead of a hotel.

The worst bed I’ve ever slept on. It was basically a brick slab with paper sheets. My back will never recover.

It was just as advertised. Clean. Comfortable. The directions to find it were accurate though a bit hard to find at first. There were a few frozen cans in the freezer by a previous guest and the coffee maker had an old filter in it but beyond that it was all clean and had everything we needed.

I was nervous because of some bad reviews. But communication through the app was great and we got everything we needed. Location was excellent. Only issue was they wanted to delay check in. I think because of a stench in the room. We needed to change and unload groceries.. so dealt with the smell, which was not the properties fault. Probably from the previous renters cooking.

I'm a travel agent and booked this place for my client. We were completely dissatisfied with the service and I will not consider Sonder at any locations until they take accountability for their mistakes. 1. We requested an infant crib as advertised and instead received a pack and play, which was not what we confirmed and arranged one month prior to check-in. Not only that, the pack and play was broken. When we requested an infant crib again based on what we received, they delivered another pack and play and didn't bother to retrieve the broken one. They refused our third request for them to supply an actual infant crib or bed because they simply miss advertised and didn't actually have neither an infant crib or infant bed. We would have never booked this place initially if they didn't offer an actual infant bed or crib as advertised. 2. We extended the check-out date by one day and received confirmation of the extension and new dates. However, the Sonder booking system never updated the new checkout date. They were not going to honor the new date and told my client she had to check out within 3 hours or move to a new room because they had another client arriving. They were inconsiderate and took no accountability of their own issue and made it my client's issue even though my client was charged for the new booking and we had documentation. Nor did they offer to help move my client's belongings nor try to arrange the new guest to another room they had available.

Easy check in

Easy access, great location, clean and friendly!

This place was beautiful, you definitely get your moneys worth. The only complaints I have is the ac was terrible. Also we were getting noise complaints during the day for conversing. Now I’m fully aware that this is peoples permanent residence but it was odd to get complaints during the day. We didn’t have music blaring or any of the typical reasons to get complaints. I will mention that I feel like the security was being nosey and saw people who weren’t residents and kind of targeted us. Overall it was a beautiful place and well worth the money spent.

Overall, my stay at Sonder at Second and Second was very enjoyable. The hotel delivers a high level of comfort that makes it a great choice. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for a reliable and pleasant hotel experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to Target Center. It’s a great base for exploring the area and there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance.
