Sea Club I

The beach is beatiful on this Key. The Sea Beach is old but it was good for the price and right on the beach. We just needed a place to sleep so it was fine. No beach towels provided but they do have lounge chairs. On this key u have to Uber everywhere. Nothing is in walking distance.

On the Beach. Beautiful views. Nice heated pool. Great manager. Guests will be very pleased with their stay. Old Florida gem.

Other than parking issues due to renovations on parking lot, we had a perfect visit!

Fantastic 60s style motor lodge. Our room was maybe 100 yards from accessible private beach of white sand and aqua blue clear water. Saw several dolphins . Room was very comfortable. We were in the studio because only two of us. Queen bed also had pulldown murphy bed. Sitting area, sm breakfast area and kitchenette. The freezer was great to always have ice without going out for it. They sell ice also for $3 a bag. We sat on balcony and looked out at the pool and the Gulf. The had beach chairs, loungers and pool noodles and beach toys you could borrow. Do not supply beach umbrellas. Also had 4 propane gas grills you could use. Staff was great. Definitely will stay there if we get back. Great pizza place and a bar called Guppys about a mile away. Also, great breakfast and lunch cafe close. Grocery store about 5 min away. We were there in late June and the big turtles were making nests on the beach late at night which was cool. Perfect beach style place to stay.

Great beachside location, helpful friendly staff. Nice well equipped unit although it would benefit from a few cosmetic updates. Poor WiFi though, Also Surprised that they didn’t supply pool/beach towels in view of their proximity to the beach.

I love that this property is right on the beach. We were there over Christmas. The property was not fully booked, so it was fairly quiet. The Gulf was too cold for us, but we enjoyed using the the provided lounge chairs to relax on the beach. Lots of shelling to do. Not a lot of people at this time. Pool was not a bad temperature and was clean. The property looks like an old motor lodge, but they have kept it nice. Our room did not have a lot of updates, but it was sufficient. A roll of paper towels would have been helpful. We would consider staying here again.

This is a true old Florida gem. We were only there for 2 nights but would readily stay for a week or more. Everything was lovely. The front desk staff, location, pool and beach. Absolutely wonderful.

Quite the bargain for the location! Had walk on beach access, pool access and grills for cookouts! Very quiet and relaxing. Condo had everything we needed. Staff was more than helpful. Minutes drive from dinning options and shopping.

Such a great place to stay. Pool, beach and beautiful sunsets!

The unit wasn’t clean at all..

I did resort work for my career. I have inspected thousands of hotel rooms. The cleanliness was impeccable.

Office staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and cozy. I have went here for years and will continue to.

Clean room, quiet and safe, right on the beach.

The scale and personality of the place reminds me of the simpler, less developed Longboat Key of my 1960's childhood. The unit and the grounds are pleasant, comfortable, and well-maintained. Beautiful, open view of the gulf, which feels like it is right outside your door.

The lady at the desk was lovely. The facility is old and it shows it. Paint is peeling off the cabinets, the porcelain on the sink is starting to rust and deteriorate, the door was broken and couldn't lock properly.

We had a magical beach getaway! Beach trips often offer a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. the the soothing sound of waves, warm sun, and the refreshing ocean breeze added to the enchanting experience. The property is in a perfect location just steps from the beach, the room was super clean and had everything we needed. Lisa is the sweetest, she gave us all the information we needed and check in and out was a breeze. Zero stress… I didn’t want to leave.

Our room was just right for what we needed. It was clean and had everything that we needed. We had a view overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The beach was a short walk and the property offered its guests beach loungers.

It is an older beach motel, with privately owned rooms, so each is different and inconsistent from each other. The desk clerk recommended booking through their website to get better options of quality of room. Yes my small studio room backed onto the main road so it was a little noisy. It was tired with older furniture, but not much different from all the beach VRBOs and AirBB in the area. I would stay again, just maybe in a more upgraded room. Location FANTASTIC!!!! I had low expectations going in and did not expect fancy, so I was not let down.

Very clean, Retro/old-school, Florida resort. Note - Each unit is individually owned, equipped & decorated. The positives: Excellent beach, Easy access to Publix, restaurants, Sarasota & St. Armand’s, Very friendly and helpful staff, Nice pool with plenty of seating, umbrellas, tables, & nicely maintained grounds. Our unit had everything we needed and we ate most meals there. The towel creations were a nice touch. The negatives: Was disappointed our balcony was not actually beachfront or even beach view, but I should’ve asked more questions. Unit 49 had one of the most blocked views of the beach. Professional tree trimmers, to maintain proper growth habit, would be highly beneficial. I’d have chosen a different unit, had I known the layout. The queen size bed and Murphy bed were incredibly uncomfortable and felt old. Both should be replaced immediately. Lampshades beside bed were cracked & need to be replaced. Removal of the Murphy bed, adding a comfortable king-sized bed and a full-sized sofa-bed, for more seating, would make more sense, more space & definitely more comfort. I’d stay here again but would speak with management, before booking, about specific units and their amenities. All in all, we had an incredibly relaxing week and enjoyed our stay, except for having difficulty sleeping comfortably.

Our room was on the beach! Beds and furniture were very comfortable!! Lots of outdoor seating and extremely close to the water!

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. However, the place is very old. The apartment I stayed in needs a total renovation. There were a few things that could still be better. For example, the rooms should have had a suitably-sized TV or even a TV at all. There was no paper towel in the kitchen, nor were there dishwashing supplies. But the beach and the tranquility make it worthwhile to stay here. Despite everything, I really liked the place.

the day of checkin we received a courtesy call from the property and because we would be arriving late it was decided they would unlock the unit and leave the keys inside with the office contact information and we were to stop in the office the next day to take care of registering. Such a simple gesture but meant a lot, it was nice just going to the unit. it is a smaller complex which is great, beach wasn't crowd, lots of room, not piled together. Publix just a few miles a way to get breakfast and lunch items. Not a lot of eating choices super close, needed to drive about 15 minutes to Armound Beach or Bradenton. Unit was not fancy but had everything we needed. I would recommend this property if you are looking to relax.

It was a family trip. This our third time in this place. Very peaceful. Great customer service

First off , if you are booking this property through VRBO you are actually booking through EXPEDIA but being up charged through this app. The “host” of this property on this app is unresponsive and does not take any accountability for this booking. We booked for 2 adults and two kids and the vrbo did not disclose that to the property ! So we then got scolded regarding our party size. Very unsettling while coming to vacation. We loved the location , the beds were comfy and the living room was a nice size and clean. The bathroom was our #1 issue. First nothing is kept up with. Paint falling off the walls , screw sticking out of the broken metal hand grab bars in the shower , the shower leaks water once turned on ! It’s just NOT kept up with what so ever and for what you pay you can find a better place on the island. Night one we had the cabinet fall OFF of the wall onto our four year old injuring her head and her arm. The cabinet was NOT screwed in. Just NAILED into the drywall. Completely unacceptable and unsafe for anyone ! We had to document all of these issues and would have left but there were no other places to stay as it was Easter weekend. Items in the home were not secured or taken care of properly.!!

It was just as described. The room is small and we had an issue with the refrig going out. However the staff acted quickly. Did not do us much good however the next people staying there would be happy. Beautiful quiet beach, chair provided and a nice pool
