Apres Whitefish

Cute place. Reminds me of a European hostel. Be aware the is no elevator. They do have a chair lift for access to 2nd floor.

The property is well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful. Sauna is great and there is a nice trail next to the hotel along the river.

A great place to stay. A wonderful outdoor hot wood fired sauna. Friendly and very accommodating. Clean and comfortable. Will return.

Some noise from the road. You can definitely hear talking from adjacent rooms. Top notch bath products by Grown Alchemist. High quality free coffee and tea. Easy parking, too. And downtown-adjacent for a quick walk to get dinner. Sauna hours are 7-11pm with separate towels provided. Overall this was fair value for cost. Common area lounge had a selection of well curated books and vinyls.

Excellent place to stay, great service and amenities, including a spa out on the back lawn and espresso at the front desk! Spacious room/bathroom, comfy bed, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

This place is simply adorable and welcoming. The rooms and decor are just perfect and the beds are super cozy. The laundry was a plus and the sauna and outdoor cold shower were extra plus plus. Perfect walk along the river to get to town. Love this place.

Awesome little place. Newly remodeled. Creek out back and they have corn hole and hammocks for guests to relax in as well. Great location, eady in and easy out.

Place is very clean and the staff is very nice. The hotel is pretty close to restaurants, shops and most especially if you want to go to the mountains or lakes!

Stayed the last night of our trip at Apres Whitefish. The hotel has been renovated since the last time we stayed, and it was very nice. The hotel is clean, the rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. In addition, the location is perfect, my wife and I were able to walk downtown to grab dinner.

I really could write a very long review, but I don’t think it will make any difference….So I’ll try and keep this short. We were going to be needing a room in Whitefish for 2 nights. Looked online and there were plenty available, however, we wanted something nice..ish, and the pictures stood out for Apres. Booked online with Expedia. Per usual a great experience. Got into town, and driving up to the property, I’m thinking, this isn’t what it looked like in the pictures…But, oh welll. Check in was easy, however the front desk person had as much charisma as a loaf of bread (indifference to the max). Lobby was a little messy, but was acceptable I suppose. Got to our room ( 3rd level, no elevator)…My fault, I’m guessing it must have said that somewhere… Room was very bohemian- new age. Carpets were dirty, bathroom had not been cleaned properly for a long time. Furniture was minimalist, but okay. BEWARE: The bed frame sticks out far past the bed. I can guarantee that 1,000s of people have smashed their shins over the years…Including myself…Though I broke my leg FCOL! Whomever chose this bed frame, clearly has never done so before. Air conditioning was the window style fabricated to fit in the wall. Seriously the noisiest one ever. (Rattling sound). Had to turn it off and open the window…Guess what, no screen! Bed was motel quality. The building itself is b grade industrial at best…zero character, and walls do nothing to dampen people talking in the next room.

Lovely, clean, modern, no-frills, affordable

Pet friendly and hip/charming. Beds were a bit soft and the floor wasn’t barefoot worthy clean but everything else was just lovely! Really appreciated the yard, fire pit area, sauna and espresso bar at the front counter. The staff were wonderful as well!

Overall it was a nice stay, but room 11 should not be considered non-smoking. There was so much smoke smell that permeated from the wood fire sauna and bonfire from that side of the building! The TV was dated, no smart TV options.

Excellent location by the river walk. Good view of the mountains. Friendly staff. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.

It was fine, basic accommodations- nothing wrong, but nothing luxurious. It’s not a boutique hotel, it’s a renovated motor lodge marketed to be something much more elevated and refined than it is in reality. The one “luxury” amenity is an outdoor sauna that they offer in a grassy area adjacent to the parking lot with a “cold plunge” aka galvanized tub next to it. The rooms have loud AC wall units next to a plywood bench seating area that is built in so you literally cannot sit there if you want the air on. They also have a pay to use laundry room on the second floor that is completely outdated- and has a top loading washing machine from the 90s. So for the money you are paying- you get a “hip” design, basic, clean accommodation and are paying mostly for the location.

Great spot! so glad we found this! walkable into town / 10 mins. loved the space and amenities. my only negative comment is that the walls are very thin.

WiFi was not terribly good. The walls were thin. The overall vibe was clean and great!

I liked the finishing touches in the room to give it some personality. One small issue; the AC was noisy through the night.

This is a great hotel! The lobby is tiny, but the staff are friendly and check in was easy. The room is clean and super spacious. It’s a great location, less than 5 minute drive to restaurants and shops. The only downside is the walls are thin, I could hear my neighbor on his phone.

This place was very mid century modern. Hooks on the walls for anything. No drawer. No thing for lights but two bed lamps and a floor lamp. Not good lighting. Alright for overnight but we were there 4 nights.

Very overpriced for what was offered. Tiny room and bathroom. Weak shower pressure. Third-floor room with no elevator. Poor sound insulation between rooms (could hear the conversation in the neighboring room).

Such a cute spot! Management is so friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. Would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Apres Whitefish. The staff were extremely friendly and let us stash our bags the morning we got off the train (we were backpacking) and called us for early checkin once our rooms were cleaned. They had great ideas about things to do in the area. The free SNOW bus stops right by then so that was really helpful for us traveling on foot to see more of the area. Room was very cute, clean, had everything we needed and we slept wonderfully. Just wish I’d booked it for a second night!

Got charged for a damage that was not done during my stay. Would have liked a long thorough email with pictures that showed these damages. I learned my lesson for always taking pictures before and after a stay has happened to prove that damages were not done during my stay.

Very nice little hotel near (walking distance ~.5 mi) to the downtown Whitefish restaurants and shops. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only thing to note was there is no elevator (only 3 floors). But when staff noticed us carrying up our suitcases with toddler in tow, she jumped to help us with our bags! Much appreciated!

Sometimes when travelers are road weary, we’re just grumpy. We are all working through life the best way we can. I was that traveler for a few days. Jayne and the entire staff offered heartfelt empathy, kindness and hospitality. I would eagerly stay again! The location is prime. Beautifully landscaped in a mind blowing setting!

Place was nice and clean. Staff was ok, when asked to explain some policies they were new and didn’t know.

Check in staff was wonderful. They carried our luggage upstairs for us and were very friendly.

Great location. Staff not super attentive. Seemed very indifferent. Not welcoming. Loud upstairs neighbors. I guess since the place is kind of older you can hear people walking loudly.

Apres whitefish was so lovely! A half mile walk to so much downtown and right off the river path! Wish we had more than one night there!

Super clean and modern. We came early and they upgraded our room just so we could get in early! It’s an easy walk to town and the snow bus stops real close to the hotel. Highly recommended!

Nice rooms, super nice staff and nice location. Walking to Whitefish center along the river was an added bonus. It's a beautiful 15 minutes walk.

Great location! Super close and walkable to downtown white fish. Nicely updated rooms. Only down side is there is no elevator. But they do have a gentlemen that will help you carry your luggage up the stairs. We stayed here while we explored Glacier NP at the beginning of September and it was wonderful.

Lot's of noise from neighboring spaces and footsteps from the room above. Otherwise, cute, spare, modern. On a fast street but didn't feel encumbered by it. Easy to get to amenities and Whitefish Lake. My husband enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge. For me the best thing about our stay was finding Rebel Roots Kitchen food truck in the Apres lot. We arrived at dinnertime, and were joyously surprised to find such tasty food. They even had a tofu bowl that was out of this world good!!

Great place to stay, really like the style and vibe of the place, and that they had Espresso in the lobby, and a taco truck in the parking lot was a bonus.. Would stay here again.

The hotel definitely has a nice cozy vibe. The noise that is from other guests in there room or hall, even lou ge area was way to loud. Zero sound barrier. Conti ental breakfast was just cofee.

Everything was perfect. Best $4 latte from the front desk, don’t miss out on that one.

Reception staff are very friendly, check in was a breeze. Great latte/cappuccinos at reception. Rooms have mountain view and are clean and comfortable. Amazing bathroom products. They smell so good and feel quality. Hotel location is very convenient Took ten minutes to walk into town. We didn’t use the sauna or outdoor fire, maybe next time. Will definitely be staying here again.

Cute property with modern rooms, a comfy sitting room with a record player, outdoor deck, hammocks. Access to a walking path for a short walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Whitefish. Very friendly and welcoming staff, espresso machine for custom coffees on site as well as complimentary coffee We stayed our last night before flying home, very convenience to Glacier airport.

The property was super cute. The room I stayed in was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Food truck in the parking lot was delicious which made it super nice to not have to actually go anywhere after a long travel day.

This hotel had lots of querky surprises. There was a record player with lots of old albumns in the common area. Cool decor that was done with great taste. The food truck in the parking lot was yummy and fun. And the walking trail behind the hotel, along the river,was a bonus. Highly recommend.

The property was in a great location for walking into town and far enough away to avoid people noise. The property is located on the main street going into town. I liked the general manager. She was very friendly, but there were a couple of employees that checked us in that were not so friendly. I wouldn’t stay here again only because since the building is older the walls are very thin. You can hear people in the next room talking. We were asked to be relocated on the first floor because of the noise coming from next-door and it was much cooler and a little quieter. If you are a sound sleeper, then this would be a good place to stay. They do not offer any breakfast, but do you have coffee complementary and they offer lattes and espresso’s for a charge. The rooms have been modernized and were very clean.
