Felt unsafe — I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel is located in what felt like a very unsafe neighborhood. At night, there is very little lighting around the property, and the hotel itself is almost completely dark, which made me feel extremely uneasy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on a rock. The rooms also have virtually no soundproofing, so you can hear everything coming from neighboring rooms, as well as rooms above and below you. On top of that, there was extremely loud music playing throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I originally planned to stay for three nights, but after just one night, I decided to leave. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, particularly if safety, comfort, and a good night’s sleep are important to you.

I booked this hotel through Expedia for a 6-day stay in Mexico City. At check-in, everything seemed normal and the room was fine. However, after two days, the situation changed completely. The front desk staff suddenly claimed I needed to pay more money, even though I had already fully paid through Expedia and had my receipt as proof. They accused me of being a thief and refused to listen to any explanation. Despite showing my confirmed reservation and payment receipt, they locked my room and did not allow me access to my belongings. I contacted Expedia immediately, and the Expedia support team was very helpful. They tried to contact the property multiple times, but the hotel did not respond to them. Expedia eventually arranged another hotel for me. When I returned to the property to check out and collect my belongings, the staff still refused to open the room or release my items unless I paid extra money. I showed them Expedia’s confirmation email and even a warning letter sent by Expedia, but they still refused. The situation became very tense and nearly escalated into a confrontation. I told them I would call the police, and the manager became angry and questioned why I would involve the authorities. In the end, I had no choice but to pay an additional $60 just to retrieve my personal belongings and leave the property. This was a very stressful and unacceptable experience. I do not recommend this hotel due to their unprofessional behavior, unfair demands for extra pay.
