Hotel needs to do better maintenance around the pool area. Pool tiles were falling off plus the grout was black.

To say we were nervous to stay here with all the poor reviews was an understatement. We went in with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. Room was super clean, beds comfy, and pillows ok. Balcony had no patio furnishings. Our room had a table so could bring chairs out but would have been nice to have. Looks like no one but altitude had patio furniture. Pools nice, clean and warm. The chairs are not comfortable, would be good to replace with more cushion. We always took the same spot at the family pool & Same Great waiter, Ulises. It was my friends birthday & he brought her a little cake and entertainment played happy birthday without even asking! He truly went above and beyond & made our trip Amazing!! Had cold coffee at coffee bar. Nice little cafe with pastries, sandwiches and ice cream. We did go to the adult pool when they had foam pool party. People on that side seemed to be having a good time. I would say I was pretty disappointed in entertainment -they never asked to engage in games during the day nor was any part of the entertainment bilingual. Food was always good and Hot! We always ate lunch at the pool. Fish tacos with extra sauce was the best. Mango Tango with tajin & Paloma were our favorite drinks. Overall it was a good trip. Would I go again,no just because I like nightly shows and entertainment. But if you want to relax with good food/drinks/beautiful view-this place is definitely for you!

Excelente servicio de concierge , muy atentos y al pendiente todos. Solo creo que un detalle, no me gustó que te cobraran las camas que están en la alberca y la playa, creo que eso es parte de las instalaciones del hotel La comida muy rica

Staff were great, food was below par, rooms cleaned every other day, no loungers on beach and need to pay extra for altitude club if you want access to more then one pool or restaurants. Nice place but needs updating and not having to pay more when you arrive for use of other pools/restaurants/ loungers etc.

Resort appears short staffed for number of guests. Plus Adults Only pool on website as for Altitude guests, IT IS NOT. Pool extremely busy, not enough chairs/loungers. In Altitude Tower, room was cleaned twice and had to ask for clean towels, twice

Resultó verdaderamente desconcertante la experiencia en el hotel Krystal Grand Los Cabos. El propio Concierge en el lugar representante de Expedia de nombre Gabriel Ávila gestionó un cobro adicional , no obstante que incluso él mismo mencionó que ese ERROR era enteramente atribuible al hotel y no a nosotros. Dicho cargo jamás fue mencionado al momento de liquidar la totalidad de la estancia el día de nuestra llegada, lo cual evidencia una lamentable falta de rigor operativo. El representante de EXPEDIA afirmó estar “para garantizar una buena experiencia ”. Permítame expresarlo con total claridad: ¿consideran que exigir un importe inesperado y equivocado al concluir la estancia constituye una experiencia satisfactoria o mínimamente coherente con esa promesa? A ello se suma el hecho —del cual él estuvo enteramente enterado desde el inicio— de que recibimos una habitación impregnada de olor a cigarro y con colillas de cigarros dispersas en toda la habitación , situación impropia de cualquier estándar hotelero serio. Y aún así, no se nos reubicó hasta el día siguiente, prolongando una incomodidad que debió resolverse de manera inmediata. Ha sido, sin lugar a dudas, la experiencia más desafortunada que hemos vivido en un resort. Lamento profundamente que EXPEDIA tolere procedimientos tan poco diligentes, los cuales erosionan gravemente la confianza del cliente y la reputación de su propia plataforma.

No está tan mal, pero definitivamente su comida de “especialidad “ si tienen que mejorar bastante, restaurante japonés y mexicano quedan mucho a deber en cuanto a sabor, los baños de las albercas parecen baños públicos, huelen muy mal y siempre están mojados, te cobran un impuesto por limpieza de playa, por lo que deberían de tener una playa muy adecuada para sus huéspedes, pero está sucia, llena de basura . Tienen muchas áreas de oportunidad que para ser un hotel 5 estrellas si tienen que mejorar.

Unhappy with the recycling plastics cup at the bar by the main pool I saw how they wash them n reuse them not the ones with logo the regular plastic cup so NASTY, lucky my family didn’t y get sick

Los restaurantes son chicos para un hotel All Inclusive. Hay que hacer fila. En el desayuno, todos los días dan lo mismo. No hay variedad. En particular, el aseo de la habitación fue bastante deficiente.

Our ocean view was of rooftops. Stepping outside our room we were overwhelmed with sewage and exhaust smells. The AC did not work. We left after 3 hours.

Food is horrible doesn’t have many options, they have Taco night that was good is about the only good thing. They keep using the same plastic cups I saw at the bar washing them not the ones with logo the recycle cups NASTY!!! Unhappy

It didn't meet my expectations. The property needs a lot of maintenance. The pictures are absolutely outdated. The rooms smell musty given I was changed from one room to another room. Both had the same smell. Due to the weather, the dining took place in same spot for a couple days. Bar would be closed. The only beautiful part of this hotel was the pool area. However, your staff should be given medals as it's thanks to their amazing service and willingness to quickly assist that made this place hide the negatives and kept me to stay for the week. Had it not been for them, I would have left the following day. You have an incredible team and one can't only focus on the negatives as they do deserve recognition especially during Mondays earthquake incident for which I was present with my son.

Staff were friendly. The front desk manager Mario was very polite and helpful 5⭐️. The first impression inside room wasn’t good, Our room when first walked in wasn’t clean. There was hair all over the bathroom and shower. And soap and shampoo was empty.

Didnt get the ocean view room I paid for, the AC was barely cold, food was not worth the money, flies all over the food, area by the snack bar smelled like sewage, it was bad we left a day early.

So when we chose this resort we didn't know that all inclusive was really not that they give you different colored bracelets and some of the dining is for apparently the upper bracelets and the beachfront junior suite isn't bad but its very musty and mildew smelly. As well as every night they have a live music or live dj or something that's going on until 10 to 11 pm and it's right under your suites which is ok unless you have early morning excursions the staff was great for the most part but the food is just ok .Mexico is very expensive now went to cabo 25 years ago and dont think I need to go back for another 25 years rather keep going to Europe

Overall our stay at Krystal Grand Los Cabos was good, not the best. We had a personal butler named Claudio that we had access to to reserve restaurant bookings, questions about resort activities and events and he was great. Our room was in the altitude tower as VIP guest which was amazing. We had ocean front room, looking out to the vast Pacific Ocean. Our complaints were the bathroom flush pressure was low and asked them to fix but it didnt really help. Restaurant service was poor at majority of the offerings except the Italian place. The food was delayed and waiter did not come to our table to check on us.

I stayed at this resort with my partner on 8/13/2025 to 8/17/2025. Upon entering, we were checked in by the Expedia concierge, Omar, who was very friendly and personable. We only saw him once during check in and no other time the rest of our stay, but despite that, he was still able to book us reservations at the habachi restaurant, and give us additional info on excursions. I appreciated his help. The rooms aren’t the newest and I can tell they weren’t maintained properly and thoroughly. I came with a party of 6 other people, and in one of their rooms, the bathroom sink did not drain so they had to brush their teeth in the shower. In that same room, the shower door did not close and kept swinging open no matter how many times you kick it closed, so all the water would splash on the floor. Their floor in the common area of one of the rooms was also very dusty (dirt and debris was getting stuck under our feet) so they had to call house keeping to come sweep and mop, which they did pretty fast which was great. One of the couples that joined us had another family knocking on their door because apparently the resort double booked that room. The family ended up getting a separate room and my friend and her partner were compensated with reservations at one of the restaurants at the resort, The Grill, which she told me was delicious (unfortunately I did not get a chance to dine here). My room in particular was pretty okay. Some molding on the patio doors, no patio seats or tables

We had an amazing view from our swimout oceanfront king room…the sports bar club was one of our favorites because we didn’t have to leave the resort to go to a nightclub

Our stay at Krystal Grand Cabo was incredible. The resort is beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. Our swim-out suite was always clean, water replenished, and the pools sparkling. Gabriel, the concierge, was amazing, quick, kind, and helpful with every request. The staff also arranged a cab into town that waited for us and brought us safely back. At the restaurants, Sara, Lila, and Karen were welcoming and ensured my gluten allergy was carefully managed. Victor and Angel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Manuel at the adult pool was fast, efficient, and remembered every order, handling my gluten-free requests with care. He is an extremely hard worker. Valerie, the manager, was warm, professional, and made us feel truly valued. The biggest shoutout goes to Rodolfo, our dinner waiter. His knowledge of gluten-free food was exceptional, and he made every meal safe and enjoyable. He was kind, professional, and attentive, making our trip unforgettable. Improvements would be better Wi-Fi in the rooms, continued investment in food quality, and labeling buffet/menu items for gluten-free, dairy-free, or nut-free options. The food was average. The room was tired, bits broken here and there, a lot of dust and dirt under the bed. The noise from the road was very loud. The pool area was extremely clean, the staff were very attentive and very friendly. The beach from the property was excellent.

This is our second time staying at the Krystal grand in los Cabo’s! This is also our first time bringing both our kids. Upon arrival, the Expedia concierge Gabriel was very inviting, warm and friendly. Even when we had minor issues with our room (toilet not flushing properly, loud highway noise) he went above and beyond by upgrading our room to the altitude tower which is their highest category suite. Waking up every morning to a beach front view was something out of a magazine. We couldn’t have been happier and it was because of Gabriel that we got to experience this. Not only that, but because ayami restaurant was closed due to renovations he pulled strings by allowing us to enjoy a delicious premium seafood meal at Senses, which is only for altitude club members. I got to celebrate my birthday eating my favourite food. Gloria, Rodrigo, Tania and Ishmail were also outstanding to us. They made our stay extra special and memorable. We cannot thank them enough for their service. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff for their hospitality! This is why we keep returning to the Krystal grand :)

We really enjoyed our time at Krystal Grand Los Cabos. We traveled with our son's family and it was very family friendly. Shout out to Omar and Gabriel, our Expedia concierge, who were awesome and very helpful. They scheduled dinner reservation, airport transfers as well as check in/out, which was really easy. Thank you Gabriel and Omar for making our stay seamless.

Gabriel and Omar were wonderful to ensure that my stay at the hotel would be nice. There was a mix up in the room that I booked and they both went above and beyond to relocate me to room that had the ocean view that I booked along with a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The property needs to be updated but it was clean and presentable. The sliding door in my room fell off the track on 2 different days. Omar had maintenance come by each time to repair it. The restaurants were ok. The adult pool, walking on the beach and the ocean view were great. Overall, I had a nice time especially for the price. Big Thank You to Gabriel, Omar, the waiters, bartenders, maids and the rest of the staff—there were AMAZING.

Overall, spend a lil more money elsewhere folks. The highlight of the property was that the staff was friendly (always greeted good morning and good evening no matter what the circumstances, and it's clear they are trained to respond with "it's a pleasure" after assisting customers). I think it's one of the more budget friendly "resorts" in the area, however for most people it can still be a lot of money spent, and I don't think it's worth it. Otherwise, the pool is nice, and the clientele appears to be local families and there was no drama. The rooms are dated, restaurant hours are not consistent, and quality of food is just ok. Our hotel room did not have any bath towels provided, did not have a working in-room telephone nor were we asked if we wanted one, therefore for most of day 1-2, I relied on the express service via WhatsApp. Various parts of the resort smelled of deep sewage water. Our room 4427, reeked in the restroom of deep water sewage. Check-in staff rushed our check-in; didn't bother to give us our separate keycards for towels, didn't tell us about the separate site that is their one-stop shop of daily bulletins and restaurant info - on day 2 we found out thru the express service via WhatsApp.

Views were great, but the staff really made my trip amazing. They went above and beyond, everyone I interacted with was so friendly, patient, accommodating and attentive. They really try hard to remember your face and name which is amazing considering how many people were staying there. Food can be hit or miss; I enjoyed the breakfast buffet but the lunch buffet had some strange food. I preferred eating at the restaurants instead. It was also very convenient to have the cafe so I could get a cappuccino every morning. I will be coming back and will bring my family next time.

Our room was half cleaned and because the hotel did not a toilet plunger to fix the toilet. We had to change rooms, not once, but twice. The food was bad and the drinks were completely watered down.

Well...3rd time at the Krystal and everything was wonderful as usual! (We arrived during a hurricane and the staff, even though working with a skeleton crew, were very professional and kind)...The restaurants all had wonderful food and the service was exceptional! Some staff members who made my vacation even more special...Leombardo (waiter extraordinaire), Hilda (housekeeper), Yolanda (waitress), Luis (front desk), Luis (bellman), Hector (waiter), Eduardo (bellman), Rosalba (hostess), Robert (concierge) and of course my favorite Concierge...Gabriel!!!! Thank all of you for another fabulous vacation!!!!

Me gustó mucho, la comida es rica y hay varios restaurantes, para los restaurantes se van turnando, no abren todos todos los días pero siempre hay, un dato a tener en cuenta es que la playa que está directamente en el hotel no es apta para entrar al mar

El hotel es bonito, ameno y muy comodo, muy cerca del aeropuerto y la playa es hermosa, fuimos en temporada baja y pasamos unos dias muy tranquilos con poca gente Pero lo q nos super encanto fue el servicio y la amabilidad de staf! Desde antes de nuestra llegada, mi amigo gabriel avila se puso en contacto con nosotros para ver si teníamos alguna necesidad en especial y muy amablemente nos ayudo con todos los detalles para nuestra dieta especial kosher Por su parte valeria la gerente dela comida en general estuvo al tanto de todos los detalles para cubrir nuestras necesidades en el asunto, y siempre de la manera mas amable y con la sonrisa y disposición siempre presentes! Todos los trabajadores del hotel en general nos hicieron sentir como.en casa, super amables en todo momento, super amigables, nunca habia tenido una experiencia tan grata, amena y comoda con el staff de un hotel, Todos con una buena vibra en todo momento y con una sonrisa siempre, gracias mil veces por darnos esa comodidad y atencion para gozar de unos dias de relajacion en pareja!

No se puede meter a la playa

If you want to walk to in town areas this is not the place to stay. I felt I couldn’t walk safely like I had my last trip where I stayed else where.

Very friendly staff, room is just ok. Could be better with some upgrades. Food options are rather limited. But the access to beach is good. The good staffs made up for the lack of amenities.

The Krystal Grand is in a gorgeous spot, the wide stretch of beach so clean and close is breathtaking. The resort is a good size that it doesn’t a long time to get to everything you need. The specialty restaurants are wonderful, with a Mexican, Italian, Asian and a steakhouse all in gorgeous locations. Loved our room. Lovely and big with a gorgeous view. A great experience at check in with the Expedia staff, Gabriel and Omah!! They even took care of our teppanyaki reservation. Very family friendly but the plus for us is the separate pool for 21+ with the swim up bar. Truly paradise. Great location to walk to surf spots. No swimming along the beach as it is too dangerous. Recommend the Italian restaurant! And the theme night buffets were a real touch of traditional Mexico. The Mexican bbq and even the young man making the churros from scratch. You don’t get this experience often at other resorts in Cabo. Lilia at the buffet was so friendly and smiling always too. My only downside is there is really no where to leave your wet clothes to dry.

Far from night life, but worked for us. Food is excellent for an all inclusive. Highly recommended!!! Expedia reps went above and beyond to schedule dinners and work around our daily plans.

Beach was unobstructed and beautiful view

We were VERY impressed overall! Yes, the property can use some upgrading/maintenance with small things (ie. tiles in the pool), but overall it was great! The staff here is SO friendly -- probably the most friendly and helpful than any other all inclusive we have stayed at. The food was great, but make sure you upgrade to the Altitue Club. You'll have access to the best restaurant and roof top bar (which is a must for sunset and late night). I would highly recommend staying here and will stay here again.

This property is marketed as an all-inclusive resort, but it does not provide room service unless an additional fee is paid. The food quality was subpar. The restaurants had limited hours of operation, and the poolside snack bar offered unimpressive options. However, the fish tacos were a notable exception. Unfortunately, the Asian restaurant's offerings were not worthwhile, and I experienced adverse effects after dining there.

If decent dining is in your wishlist for a all inclusive hotel, you should consider looking for other hotels. The hotel description shows 5 restaurant but only 3 of them are open per day; The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast- lunch and dinner but the other two restaurants are open for dinner only. The bummer is, you have to wait for your food at those restaurants for too long and the portion of the plate they serve you is as equal as kids meal. The buffet restaurant offers very limited meat options and mostly carbs. The staff though were super nice and friendly. Our overall experience with the cleanliness was unsatisfying, specially the outdoor restrooms that were not maintaining regularly. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel and I believe there are better options around.

Good: service, people are kind. There is a separate coffee shop which is nice and convenient. Property is clean and taken care of. Its a small resort/compact but still nice. Meat restaurant was good. Japanese restaurant was good. YES i would come back again Bad: food options are limited. Basic food. Bacon only available 1/6 days. No fruits for dinner except breakfast. Limited to none kids activities available.

I do not know how this property has such a high rating on Expedia. The dining options are terrible and I mean TERRIBLE!!! We spent most of our time away from the resort. There is a beach but you can’t get in the water. The adult drinks are nothing to write home about. I’m pretty sure they water down their alcohol. For the most part the staff were very nice and tried hard. Do not waste your money on this place!!! Our room was clean and the grounds have some pretty plants and flowers but the whole property needs a deep clean and updated! Also, this is the first time I’ve left a bad review on Expedia. That’s how terrible this place is!!

Beautiful property with super nice, accommodating staff — service was top-notch, and they even upgraded us after a small room issue. Pools are fantastic, and the swim-up bar has great drinks and quick service. The big drawback is the food. Most of it is disappointing, with the buffet being the only halfway decent option (and even then, choose carefully). Taco night is good. The specialty restaurants are a waste of time — the Italian was the worst I’ve ever had, and the Asian wasn’t much better. For a good meal, head into San Jose where the food is amazing. This hotel really needs to consider getting a new executive chef because if the food situation was fixed, they’d have a real great resort that I would return to.

Nice pools and access to beach! Italian restaurant was our favorite - must try! Breakfast buffet was our favorite at the main buffet. We got upgraded to ocean view room so that was nice. My kids enjoyed the kids club/room. Loved the mini fridge which was restocked everyday. Omar who handles the Expedia customers was nice, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you! The lunch and dinner buffet was not our favorite. The Asian restaurant on property was very salty!
