The airport shuttle was hard to find.Waited 30 minutes and finally a Holiday shuttle came by but fron another hotel and drove us to the hotel.Breakfast was good.The hotel is situated near the airport right under the runway of departing airplanes so very noisy.Every 2 minutes there is a airplave passing over the hotel

It was great other than the pool being closed when the sign said the hours the pool opens up. Also shuttle service was really slow. I had to wait longer than 1 hr coming and going. It was like 2 hrs waiting coming from the airport and going back to the airport that same day. After that everything was great

Hot tub was filthy. After alerting the staff the manger quickly said it was closed and put a closed sign by the pool entry. Breakfast was subpar. Gym was not cleaned regularly. There were no sanitary wipes to clean the machines. The front desk offered me Kleenex to wipe the machine! The cleaning staff gave me a towel with some bleach on it to wipe the machine down. Not clean.

We stayed here for an early flight the next day. There is a $20/night parking fee, no shuttle for the rental car center, other than that, its clean, close to the airport and had a great breakfast.

Booked one night to catch an early flight. Although I received an email saying the shuttle service worked from 6am to 11pm, every hour, when I came out of the airport at 10:20 pm, it never came. I ended up have to share a Lyft with another passenger. Once we got to the front desk, the night clerk told us it ended at 10 pm. He was very non chalant and said he didn't manage the shuttle and could offer any more information. He was unwelcoming and dismissive. The room itself was nice and comfortable although all the USB outlets were damaged and the room was noisy. I could hear a train passing and the people in the room next door.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. To begin with, the transportation service was not reliable—pick-up and drop-off times were not honored, which caused unnecessary stress during my trip. Upon arriving, I was disappointed to find that the room was not very clean. Surfaces were dusty, and the bathroom did not feel properly sanitized. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and sadly, this hotel did not meet that standard. The most frustrating part of my experience was that I accidentally left behind a packing cube containing clothing. I know exactly where I left it in the room, but when I contacted the hotel shortly after checkout, I was told nothing had been found. Front desk was very good, professional and friendly. Bath countertop had not been cleaned and soap scum everywhere. It was questionable if the bottom sheet had been changed on one bed. Breakfast ran out of fruit before 9AM and the omlet pan lots of liquid in bottom of pan.Food line appearance poor compared to other Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at.

The rooms were very clean and comfy. The hotel is up to date and packed with amenities. The staff is nice. The shuttle was timely which is important because the Miami airport can be a monster. The king bed was comfortable and lifted a perfect height from the ground. Love the updated bathroom.

Very nice room. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the loud noise from airplanes going over. I would still stay there again, but I would bring ear plugs to use during the night.

My wife and I were just there for 2 nights before our trip to Key West and Aruba. Made a mistake staying this close to the airport. Airport shuttle took 45 minutes! It was LOUD directly under the flight path of Miami airport. AC was super loud and heard excitable kids in pool until 11pm. Rooms have inadequate soundproofing. Nice bedsheets and newer towels. Breakfast was decent. Didn’t feel safe in this hotel. We ordered pizza from the front desk recommendation. We called and ordered once we got to our room. Then, they delivered directly to our room because the front desk guy says this is normal. They do this all the time. We didn’t feel comfortable. For security reasons, we would rather pick it up and meet the delivery guy at the lobby. We think only hotel guests and employees should have access to the elevators, hallways, stairs especially rooms! The next day, there was a flyer from another pizza place stuck under our door! We were shocked and told the front desk guy about this. He said “don’t order from them, they’re scammers!” So, why are scammers roaming around our floor/hallways? Will never recommend this place.

I really enjoyed meeting Kaleb at check in. He was very kind and helpful and pleasant to deal with. My room was clean and tidy except for one long black hair on the back of the toilet tank. My room did have an issue with the air conditioner but they came and fixed it immediately. The airplane noise didn’t bother me and I actually enjoyed watching them. The property itself was very clean and I always seemed to see someone cleaning. Great stay.

On a six day stay, I never once saw housekeeping. The front desk female staff was quite friendly and accommodating. However, everyone else was either Ruth or dismissive. I was right by a staff area so it was loud with music playing very early in the morning. I would never ever ever stay at a Holiday Inn express ever again.

At check in, I changed my form of payment. I went out of the country and came home to both of my cards being charged (cleared charges, not pending) for the room (so, an extra $200.) I called the IHG number, they said someone would call me back within 48 hours. They did not. Called again and got told the hotel said they canceled one of the payments. I said, they didn’t because I am looking at 2 charges. So they told me to dispute it with my bank. So I called the hotel directly, left a message. Haven’t gotten a response and now I’m having to fight it with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous and the whole thing is terrible service. Very frustrated and disappointed. (Additionally, the outside seating closes at 9 with the pool and you get locked out of the hotel if you’re out there. The manager came out and rudely said something about it, that we struggled to understand due to the language barrier. Seems pretty ridiculous. The inside seating was FREEZING and nobody wanted to sit in there!)

Great experience! The front desk associate was one of the better I have ever came across. He was informative and beyond helpful! We had just got stranded at MIA airport for the night and had a terrible experience with our airline. As soon as we arrived he could tell the day was not going great. He upgraded us without asking and provided us with great info on food options! Also, delivered on everything from wake up call, to the cab waiting for us at 5am the next day! The hotel and rooms are super clean! If you ever get stranded at MIA International or just need a place for the night this is the place to stay! Thank you!

I arrived late at night and checked in quickly the night before I was going on a cruise, check in was great and quick and we were given a flyer to order great pizza for a very late dinner. When I checked out, all went smoothly until I got on board a cruise liner and unpacked, and realized I had left my bathroom bag in the bathroom on the door. I called to ask if they had found it and was going to send an uber to collect it for me, and was told it wasn't there. I called and checked back to see if it was found several times, and returned to the hotel to speak in person with the front desk. The bathroom bag apparently had not been found in the four days I was away, and unless it was a magical bag that just disappeared, I don't know where it went. So I have now 'lost' contact lenses, lovely bathroom accessories that I would have used on my cruise and the hotel staff were not helpful at all about finding it. It didn't travel from the hotel with me, so who knows where it is? I'm very disappointed to think someone may have stolen it!

Stayed before a cruise. They were helpful with arranging transportation to port, and even though we didn't stay there after the cruise, they helped with transportation from Port to airport. Service was excellent. Will stay there again if we ever go back to Miami

Upon arriving, the desk attendant Kaleb was very busy. He effectively handled check ins, snack purchases, inquiries from guests and questions from pizza and Uber drivers. He is outstanding. I highly recommend a raise in Salary for this outstanding employee.

everything went well. the hotels.com app was efficient. the night front desk attendant at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Miami Airport East, saw superbly excellent. He should be promoted, and hired to train all holiday Inn staff.

The location was very close to the airport but the neighborhood is a little rough. The room was much larger than expected and clean. Breakfast was good but a lot of items were running low and took a while to refill. They also offer a shuttle for the airport. Overall not bad.

We chose this property as it is extremely close to the airport. Yes, you will hear some jets taking off. It’s not so bad in the room at all. I am a light sleeper and it didn’t wake me at all. They have a shuttle from the airport. I would suggest getting directions as to where to pick up the shuttle. It was a bit difficult as a first time traveler to the Miami airport. The property is very clean well-maintained nice seating area in the lobby and for the breakfast that is included. The breakfast was so so , not the best but better than just a continental breakfast. There really isn’t anywhere there to walk to for dining or shopping so a car or an Uber would be necessary. There is however a shuttle provider for a very reasonable price will take you to the port and also arrange for your return trip to the airport from the cruise port. A real plus was that we had an extremely early flight and arrived there quite early for our check-in and the girl at the desk was kind enough to let us into our room as soon as it was ready around 11 AM. We were very thankful for that courtesy.

It was very easy to get to from the airport. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. The area was a little shady but, my family felt safe enough to walk three blocks to a really good Cuban restaurant.

We stayed here (actually same exact room) a year ago as well Areas are clean and staff interactions have been great. Our arrival was right after anticipated bad weather, so all outside furniture was tucked away. Within minutes of asking for pool towels, staff was outside resetting up chairs around the pool and. However some of the chairs seemed old and 'broken' (not weather related) and should have been replaced.airport noise was expected because of location and having a subway right next door was appreciated.

I liked the breakfast that was avaliable every morning. Our room was nice and clean. It was quiet. And parking was very convienient for our rental car. We were close to the freeway that made it easy for us to travel. We have no complaints whatsoever. A shuttle was provided to take us to cruise ports and back from the ports to the airport for our trip back home. Five Stars all around!

Unlike nearby Holiday Inn, and most IHG hotels, no complimentary drinking water in lobby! The breakfast bar is 4-star excellent! However, no restaurant inside and zero eating places nearby for guests without cars. Of special note is the larger than average refrigerator and nice microwave.

I’m horrible with doing reviews but had to take 5 mins to do this 1. My stay was Everything & I promise everytime I cruise out of Miami this is my hotel of choice. Shuttle was great, staff was polite , snacks were reasonable price for hotel, breakfast was great so was coffee. Rooms including the shower was great as well. We had to pay for the shuttle to & from the port. But that was reasonable as well. We were able to have breakfast prior to our early check-in and store our luggage. We also got the shuttle back after our return back & stored our luggage & got the free shuttle back to the airport. Made everything so doggone easy. Not to mention the washer & dryer. (Bring quarters) great start to a great vacation. Highly recommend for the price point!!
