Econo Lodge Neenah

I had a room with single queen bed. It had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. It was large with an arm chair and office chair. Lots of extra room would be easy to park a couple bicycles or such things. Laminate floors not so cozy. Part of the reason I chose this hotel is the EV charging. They have 2 Tesla chargers that can $10 which I thought okay however they allow anyone to park in front of it. I managed to park close enough to one to plug in, barely, having to extend the cord to the full length to the only close open parking spot. the Motel appears to me to be on the decline, maintenance wise. I had a hole in the ceiling and some drywall repairs were done poorly. It was clean and the breakfast okay with waffles, cheese omelets and sausage to accompany typical items.

The hotel itself was ‘worn down’ with worn out flooring, slow drains, and an old tired appearance. complimentary breakfast was really low quality with limited selection. They had extended stay customers who stayed in the outdoor common areas smoking cigarettes. Fights/arguments were heard one night. An overall unpleasant experience. The quality surely explains the low price.

It's good for the price. Parking for electric charging can shouldn't be occupied by none electric vehicles

No pool or hot tub.

It's easy to find with plenty of parking. we were on the 2nd floor with no elevator, I'm 82,wife late 70's. Comfortable bed and nice bath, wife thought it could be cleaner. The breakfast would have been great but sausages were ice cold and scrambled egg pattie was warm, waffles and cereal. Easy check in & out. Looks like 1'2 of the motel is rented by familes by the week or month. That was uncortable but had no issue with them.

This Econolodge is way overdue for a makeover. The outside and grounds are deceiving clean and kept up. However, the rooms are terrible. First of all, rooms are marked as non-smoking, but it's obvious they've been smoked in recently as the oder was apparent and the cigarette burns on the air conditioning unit were a telltale sign. Bathroom fixtures and shower fixture are not in good repair and leak. Sink did not drain, toilet seat was broken in both our rooms. I could go on with many details but there is no need. This property needs to be gutted and rebuilt.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location seemed safe. Convenient parking! The rooms seemed a little old and outdated but clean! The breakfast offering was a little disappointing! Appreciated the fact that a noise curfew was in place. All in all our 4 night stay there did not disappoint! Thanks for the stay!

Easy access and room for parking larger vehicles

Nothing likeable about hotel? Poorly maintained.

Everyone there seems to be smoking outside their room. The smoke ends up coming in your air conditioning and you can smell it in your room. You could hear people arguing in the parking lot. It was a cheap motel and relatively clean so not the worst thing. Just depends what you’re looking for.

Bugs from the cracks on the bottom of the door. Filthy bed and towels that made me seriously sick.

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! DUMP! ROACHES (DEAD AND CRAWLING), DIRTY UNSWEPT ROOM, HEATER NOT WORKING, AND A BUG ON THE WALL. I stayed up all night, scared. I tried to get my $ back for the 2nd night, but this dirty placed redused.

Dirty room, garbage laying around outside, the breakfest didn’t even have a working coffee maker, and police presences in the parking lot

Clean but out dated. Served our purpose to have somewhere to sleep that’s clean and comfy

Didn't like much of anything. Bathroom floor dirty, shower curtain filthy, bath tub slick/slimy, drain slow, bathroom door didn't come close the shutting, floors sticky, tv didn't work, when bed sheet removed the mattress pad had a large dried area of urine on the lower left side. Front desk informed.. they put things on their list for the day..

Bathroom smell like pee and shower head was broken.Shower was also plugged so water would run all over the bathroom. Towels dirty and so were the pillows.

There was hair in our bathtub when we checked in, indicating that the room wasn't properly cleaned. The peep hole on the door didn't have any glass so it was just a hole drilled through the door. The AC couldn't keep up with the heat so the floors had a layer of condensation on them. Overall, it just felt dirty and broken which made it impossible to relax.

The room was dirty with stains all over the walls. The area smelled like sewage and cigarette smoke. The towels had fecal, dust, and blood stains on them. The bread for breakfast was moldy. There were a few small spiders in our room, the outlets were hanging out of the walls, the nightstands were unclean, the toilet had a blood stain on it and so did the bathroom door. We were placed right next to people who lived there, and they were very dirty and didn't pick up after themselves. I was shocked that the bed didn't have bugs or stains on it, and the bedframe was disgusting. The bath drain wouldn't plug for the bath, either, and the sink drain barely drained at all. The shower curtain had mold on it as well. The were cracks underneath the door that were exposed to outside. We also had to pay a hidden deposit, and we had to take pictures and videos of everything in the room so we wouldn't be held liable for the damages we didn't cause. I still doubt we'll even get that $50 back. The WiFi did not work, either.

The hotel was filthy dirty

Mostly clean hotel. It does need work. I could see outside through large cracks in my door.

Not much to say positive unfortunately. Very unkept property. Room stink of stale cigarette smoke. Towels are disgusting and rooms are old and dated with horrible bathrooms. Wifi didn’t work. Breakfast was basic and looked unhealthy. Went out for food. Because it’s close to Oshkosh they gouge you on the price for such a horrible hotel.

Very noisy at night. The man in the room next to me kept me up all night because I could hear his snoring. Clientele at the hotel were downright scary. The next morning I tried to look out the peephole in the door and discovered the peephole was in backwards!! I couldn’t see outside so I went outside and looked in the peephole and could see everything inside the room!!!!! That’s disgusting and scary as hell. The bed was so uncomfortable my hips ached the whole next day. Don’t stay here if you value comfort and your safety!

Last minute stay for me and my son. The outside seemed run down - but wow - the inside looks like it was recently remodeled. New laminate flooring, comfortable bed, super clean. Staff were friendly. Loved how bright the property was at night (I’m not a fan of room entries that go directly outside.) I would return if in the area and needed a place to stay.

Everything alright. TV remote isn't original for TV so time consuming and inconvenient to change channels

The room was clean, but the appliances were dated, and fixtures in the bathroom were gross and were starting to fall off the wall. The tub either needs replacing or to be recoated.

The TV, the phone, the clock, the light switch didn't work.

It was convenient, clean, functional and quiet. It is also tired, cosmetically, but functioned well for a place to sleep and shower. Staff were good, check-in was smooth, and the formulaic breakfast was as good as one can expect. The entry door needs a new threshold and the shower curtain hangs into the tub and looks a bit gross from water staining.

The room was dark with lights on. Place looked sketchy, don't know if there were bed bugs. Mold on the bathroom door trim. Seriously considered going someplace else and lose the money paid for the room. Eggs in continental breakfast tasted awful. Waffle was good, made it myself

They demanded a deposit in cash only, no credit card to be sure room was not trashed. They were'nt going to give me my room with was prepaid on Expedia unless I came up with fifty bucks. I told them this was ridiculous. I have been using Econolodge for decades and was never treated like this. Always in the past a credit card was sufficient. I won't give cash for something like this. And so I didn't

We stayed for 4 nights, had a reservation for 3 but arrived a day earlier than planned and they were very accommodating on getting us moved from 1 room to another for the remainder of our stay before actual check in time. The continental breakfast was very good, nice variety. Staff was extremely friendly and the entire property was clean and quiet. We will definitely be back to stay here on our next visit. I would definitely recommend this place. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Friendly staff

I reserved a room for 2 night, a couple hours after check in, i went to front desk, told them i dont need my room cleaned, im staying 2 nights, i just need a couple towels will stop back later, next am went to front desk, asked for 2 towels, lady was busy, told me i would have to find house keeping, blew me off, didnt want to help me, i felt she was very rude, told her i guess my wife will have to skip shower. And left, i got myself coffee. I was so frustrated went back to desk, told her i stopped here yesterday, told front desk about not cleaning, will just need towels, the same rude gal at desk, just looked at me, said nothing. If this us how you let your staff take care of customers. I will never stay at your motel again

This property is run down and in bad shape. The staff was very nice. But, the room was below average, the bathroom was a bit scary. The door to the room seemed loose and cold air blew in, and this location is in an industrial park. I would try finding someplace different next time.

Very nice hotel for the price, I've seen others complain about the location, but I had no issue with it. It wasn't hard to find and the area seemed fairly safe. Stayed for two nights in two seperate rooms. Both rooms were very clean, very comfortable beds in both rooms, staff was very friendly and polite, good continental breakfast with cheese omelets and sausage, it's a great hotel. No complaints here.

This is an older motel which we code because the rate was lower, so we knew that coming in. Outwardly it looked a little shabby, but the room was updated and clean. The office was stocked with vending machines and the dining room was nice. Free breakfast had a lot to choose from but eggs and sausage were unappetizing on our visit. Although address for motel is Neenah, it was effectively in Appleton. So if you are doing business in Oshkosh it is a 15-20 minute drive.

Stay was mediocre. Room needs serious updates. Toilet wasn't fit for human use. Very small, low to the floor and not very friendly for anyone disabled. Room was reserved for four but did not have adequate towels or soap for four. Motel location was off the beaten path and in an industrial area. Not a place I would recognize.

This was a nice place for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was very close to the highway, which was convenient, but I thought might be noisy, but did not actually hear the highway noise from the room.

OK, it's more for working people as it's in an industrial area. But not noisy on weekends. Little hard to get to.

Looks very run down and is dated. Right next to interstate so alot of noise from cars and trucks. Did not feel safe... clientele.. floors were not clean. Feet were black after walking around inside with bare feet. Kind of in the middle of nowhere so not much around. Would not recommend or vist again. I wanted to ask for a refund but had no time to find another place due to being here for work

Old. Rooms and dining room need updating terribly. There were two vinyl bucket type lounging chairs in the dining room that were dirty and ripped open. Our bathroom door wood jam shut. Room was generally clean. Bed sheets looked old and worn but clean. Shower drain was mostly clogged and water was red with rust.

Great Breakfast!

I travel often and have stayed at 11 hotels in the last 12 months. This one was THE worst. Issue 1: They charge a $50 “refundable” fee if you dont leave the room in diaster-yet offer no compensation in return when they do not hold up their end of their advertised amenities/comforts. 2. I am 5’7”, so not tall by any standard. The mirrors/light switches are so short, I had to bend over to reach or see myself. 3. No hooks to hang toiletry bag/hand towels by the sink. 4. No ironing board, iron, hair dryer or hangers. Wth?! 5. Breakfast was all junk food, minus the eggs and sausage. Food ran out prior to posted hours, leaving no eggs or sausage 3/4 days of my stay. 6. No housekeeping. Housekeeping was advertised as eo/day. In my 4 day stay, housekeeping didnt come once. Had to go to the front office nightly for towels, shampoo and conditioner. Ended up setting my trash outside so it wouldnt stink up the room! Disgusting! 7. The first night we arrived, a few guests had lawn chairs set up in the outside walkway just outside of our room, so it was noisy until after midnight. 8. Cobwebs around vents, plastered doors, cracks in drywall, wooden bench thing in the shower didnt stay folded up so I scraped my leg on it each time I took a shower. 9. Least of my concerns (but will mention so you get a good overview)- the toiletries are NOT quality. Shampoo/conditioner did not leave hair soft, but instead tacky/glue-y. No ingredients listed on the bottles to review prior to use.

Better breakfast choices

Stay was ok. There was no breakfast. In past stays I always looked forward to their breakfast. Very friendly place. I would stay there again.
