Impressive Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Las piscinas del bar una cierra a las 5 y otra a las 6 pm, no tiene sentido esto, si quieres continuar usando un bar debes ir al lobby. Comida nada especial, tienes tres especializados, si vas una semana solo ouedes reservar hasta tres. La.limpieza de la habitacion si es 5 estrellas.

Beautiful pool and beach but not enough chairs at the pool

I didnt like that the hotel was all inclusive but they try to get you to buy premium package, when I go all inclusive I feel everyone should be all inclusive. The hot tub was cold the whole week.

Hôtel entouré d’une très belle végétation. Dans l’ensemble il mériterait d’un petit coup de jeune. Les piscines n’étaient pas très propre. Le buffet pas mauvais mais froid, les restaurants sont bons mais repas froid également. Il y avait souvent des coupures d’eau dans les chambres. Le personnel très sympathique

Quando finalmente consegui reservar o restaurante mexicano, tive uma experiência negativa: o atendimento foi insatisfatório e a demora, excessiva. Apesar de ser um all inclusive, percebi que o atendimento era bastante limitado. Os funcionários da recepção, em especial, mostraram-se mal-educados, impacientes e pouco prestativos. Durante toda a minha estadia, permaneci sem telefone no quarto, mesmo após reportar o problema ao serviço especializado. Outro ponto a considerar é a internet do hotel, que não é de boa qualidade. Em algumas áreas simplesmente não funcionava, por isso recomendo fortemente que se tenha um pacote de dados próprio. No entanto, de forma geral, trata-se de um ambiente agradável, com clima familiar e boa estrutura para descanso.

In general it was a good experience. Unfortunately we had some issues with a.c.in the room, and we had to move, Restaurants offer very limited time and hard to make reservations. Hydration room not working properly. No ac in game room and gym. Good entertainment, good food, beautiful facilities.

Went with four guys… here’s the list…. Get the reservation booked and call them to upgrade. You receive better reservations, better rooms, and better alcohol choices. The beach is beautiful. The pools are numerous, and lots of fun. Bathrooms everywhere. There aren’t enough bartenders to handle full capacity so you’ll be waiting for drinks. Bring a yeti to double up servings to limit wait times. Restaurants are great if you can get reservations…. The rooms are simple and plain. For us four guys it was a shower, a little tv while getting ready, and a solid bed to sleep in. We were never in the room otherwise and didn’t really need something extraordinary. It is what it is. 6.8-7.2 for regular and 8.2-8.4 probably with the premium upgrade. We knew what we were getting into and were ok with it. If you want no frills and ok with the basics, book. If you need something a little more, don’t.

Beach bar needed more help. Put you in a line that could take up to a half hour to get a drink. Solicitors to buy additional stays were ridiculous. Which is normal at every resorts. Did enjoy the food and staff was kind.

I liked the staff. The food wasn’t bad but those are the only positive things I can say about this property. AC does not work. Sheets and towels are old and discolored.. bugs in rooms. Just overall a 2 star property. Very disappointing.

Tellement satisfait de mon séjour, très propre, tout est bien organisé. La plus part des personnelles sont gentils est souriant. Une très belle expérience.

Not bad in all but when you are used to travel yearly over DR you can rate better the facilities . There’s non Dominican food at the buffet in all , I found at the room ( building 24) small roaches at the coffee maker area , hair at the shower and the ac were not working properly. There’s no hairdryer neither body cream at the room . The security guys at the property were every moment around and that makes us feel safe.

food was good, staffs good but it was a bad smell in the resort. pools were dirty.

Staff were friendly and wonderful. Beach was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

My Son and I booked 4 nights at Impressive and left after two nights .We were not impressed ! The room we stayed had mosquitoes. There were signs of mosquitoes on the wall . We got bit all over our legs and arms. We didn't have running water for three hours . Had a hard time booking restaurants too.

Bed bugs ! Our daughter had bed bug bites all over her legs ! Other then that the resort was fine . Lots of entertainment which we enjoyed. Would probably never come back just because off bed bugs

Dos ocaciones que e quedado la primera vez una habitacion regular ahora me quede en una premium las dos pasa lo mismo los aire acondicionado no fucionan bien pasa mucha calor y uno no duerme bien ya no me no me quedara mas en este hotel

El aire condicionando en la habitacines no servia teniamos varias habitaciones porque viajamos en familia y todas estaba igual por la noches apagaban los aire acondicionado y tenia uno que domir con calor realmente no descase nigun dia no lo recomiendo porque el hotel solo da excusa no tire sus dinero

This place is old , the blankets are dirty ,the pools have the titles broken and moldy, we have no hot water for 3 days ,the AC is no cold enough the room was hot u only feel the cold when u enter the room , after that is hot , overall this place is not 5 start maybe 4 , definitely 3 starts .

Hermoso hotel en todo los aspectos. El buffet muy variado y el personal bien atento, desde que llegas hasta que te vas. La habitación muy bonita con balcón y la cama súper cómoda. Todo el tiempo hay transportación dentro del hotel en carritos de golf, muy práctico. El hotel cuenta con WIFI lo que es excelente. Lo único que fue molesto es que el aire acondicionado de la habitación no enfriaba casi nada. Hablando con otros huéspedes supimos que no éramos los únicos con el problema.

Todo muy bueno. Deberian mejorar los aires de los cuartos

There was no hot water on any of the days of our stay. But that was not the worst thing, but the lousy information they gave about it. In the lobby, while we were asking for information, Miss Kenya looked the other way, and laughed at us. An inconceivable lack of respect in a Hotel like this.

If you go here, ask for Gabby in the lobby he was the best part of this place. He helped us book our excursions and was so kind. He speaks 5 languages which is such a big plus! The hotel itself was clean. The everyday buffet was ok the food was bland but decent selection. The biggest issue was how hot our room was. The ac unit said 15 Celsius which is 59 degrees, and the room was definitely like 85. We called for someone to come and try to fix it. They came and as they’re “fixing it” they said in Spanish they don’t know what they need to do and one of them said just do something so we can leave. They didn’t think I spoke Spanish. They promised before they left the room would feel like “Alaska” and to wait 20 min for it to kick in. We waited 1 hour and I called again for them to atleast bring us a fan. They said they would send someone else again, and never did. We spent the night asleep on the top sheet and barely clothed. The next morning I called again, and they kept pushing to have someone come again, I told them someone already did and nothing changed. I asked for a fan again and they said they can’t give one. They said they would send someone so I said ok. They once again did not come. We spent the next 6 days sleeping in the heat. I heard multiple other guest complain about this and nothing was done about it. So the key was cold showers every time we came back to the room and no clothes. Overall prob won’t stay here again and will try another place.

El aire acondicionado en las habitaciones no se sentía y/o no habia. El personal es excelente muy amables, pero los supervisores en el área de buffet trataban grosero a lis empleados. Comida fria en buffet, pero puede mejorar, No volvería por lo del aire y la poca atención a la situación

No tiene aire acondicionado andaba en familia con vario habitaciones y todas tenia problema de aire acondicionado y por la noche lo apagaba y uno domia con calor estaba ya loco por irme por que no descase le notificaba a los empleados de hotel y te daban excusas diferente no lo recomiendo

La comida de el bufet muy mala, el aire de la habitación no funcionaba bien, no me dieron cama matrimonial, el servicio ni la atención son lo mejor.

Everything was good, just the people in the blue shirts the ones that say that a free breakfast and to give you some info they attack you so much call at 8 in the morning like 4 times if you dont answer they come knocking on your door even if you have the do not disturb sign on the door, so annoying, they are standing there by the entrance of the buffet so if you go to eat before you go in they stop you and try to convince you, when you come out of the buffet they stop you again, you try to go to the coffee shop to get a coffee by the lobby they stop you and sit you down, they dont take NO for an answer. Thats the only thing my wife and i didn't like we felt like we had to be watching our backs and hidding from these people!!!!!

El check in era para las 3 y no fue hasta las 5 que nos dieron la habitación.

I did not like the fact that as soon as I checked in at the front desk, I was greeted by a Extadian representative who was trying to sell me on another vacation and pushing me into a seminar the next morning to convince me to buy another vacation. I came to this resort to enjoy myself and relax, not to be conned into another trip. This was highly inappropriate, classless, and very unprofessional. I thought Impressive Punta Cana would treat me better than that and I will definitely remember this when booking my next trip. Also the condition of the room I stayed in was poor and the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable.

When we arrived to the property, they wanted to charge us again because they couldn’t confirm payment from Expedia. We were tired and this debacle took about 45 minutes to remedy. Then we weren’t properly versed on the dining options. By the time I went online to make reservations, they were all booked limiting us to the buffet. Some of the staff were outstanding while others were not very accommodating. Bar tenders were in short supply, but we made the best of it. All in all our time at Impressive was decent not Impressive. I would suggest looking at other properties for more options.

Less than impressive! Check in was awful.. took well over an hour just to find us a room , they tried to up sell us into premium , I asked how much , after 45 min of going out back they said they actully didn’t have any … they told us nothing about the resort just kept going out back to the man behind the curtain . We tried to book reservations for the restaurants right away but they were completely booked. The front desk made us a reservation for the Italian restaurant for 7pm- it was less than 1/2 full the entire time. Entertainment staff and entertainment was good . All buffet restaurants were outside so tons of bugs flying in the food which was disgusting. If you don’t have premium you are screwed. Beach was good, lots of seaweed . Cheap vacation but i would go to cancun instead

All staff is very friendly.... had an issue with a long line at checking and check out but apparently is a temporary issue...while they fix the area.... other than that I would definitely recommend this resort.

La amabilidad de los empleados es excelente, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte.

Hotel is clean, rooms seem new, really nice. Beach front and ocean are beautiful, but as soon as you walk your way off the beach from there are public beaches, which if great everyone to have access but unfortunately that are not maintained by anyone thus lost of garbage gets accumulated making unsafe to walk barefoot and not pleasant to see. Hotel doesn’t have a beach front algae cleaning service like the hotels nearby so it can take fue days before cleaned up. During our stay (March 2024) a group of tourists/ guest dedicated about 2 hr each morning to clean and pick up algae while staff were pretending to work. The restaurant service was awful, this at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants, I even had to report a cook’s bad attitude to a supervisor. It takes for ever to get drinks, so much the we stood up to get them as the bar on each meal. Food was just basic, if you are the ripe to eat Kaft dinners at home you will be ok other than that not good, burgers, hotdogs, pasta and pizza plus few other things. Restaurants don’t serve coffee (except for breakfast) if you want a coffee after lunch or dinner at lobby they have a great coffee shop. As well I had to report a horrible cook’s attitude to a supervisor on how he treated guests, could be an isolated case, but the service was awful every day. So for these reasons I would not recommend this hotel, better places like Riu, Bahia and Iberostar among other are better option if you want to enjoy your stay.

I booked two rooms ocean front. When I arrived they told me it is not available. They gave me rooms facing construction area when they are building a new bar. Customer service is poor. Food was ok but the main restaurant is in an open area, no AC, lots of flies, few street cats. I will never go there again. The beach was good but no drinks service on the beach, you will need to go to a bar which is not far.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was close, walkable. We were right next to a pool, and a few feet from the beach! The buffet, lobby and activities were all outside so have to be ok with the heat.

This was a great place overall. The only downside was the beach water with all the stinky Alger so couldn’t get in and would have liked to.

Very nice layout with mature trees throughout providing natural shade. Pool is ok but the beach is amazing.

We stayed from 8-15/24 to 8-21/24 We loved the beach it’s beautiful and lots of sand area ! Room was okay . The a/c didn’t change the set temperature, the tv wasn’t great , the mattress was hard but the room was okay ! The food was 6/10. Lots of repeated options so you kind of get tired to see the same type of food on several meals but it was good ! Not excellent but good ! The pools were great ! We loved our stay

Excellent beachfront. No seaweed, beautiful sand. Lovely staff that are friendly. Clean. Food was good. Pools were nice. Easy to navigate the property. It’s not a fancy place, however an absolute bargain. For the price point you can’t beat it.

I had a great experience at impressive overall- food was okay except for the on the grill food was awesome, unfortunately we only got to go one time there was no availability as you have to make reservations. the only downside of this resort is the beach is dirty due to seaweed and the smell

The property its self is beautiful, but here are the issues I saw. First and most important, the property has 5 restaurants and 2 open buffets (more like 1 and a half). The main buffet is open to everyone for all meals, the second buffet ( called on the grill) is only opened for everyone for breakfast and lunch and has basically 1/4 of basically the same thing the other buffet has. There is lots of different food types to select from at the buffet, but for me personally the food would recieve a 1 out of 10. Second issue, the other 5 restaurants are by reservation only. I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and was able to find only one spot at one of the restaurants my whole stay. There is basically no reservations available even though the restaurants are always empty. I believ this is done on purpose to force people to eat at the cheaper nasty food provided at the buffet. When i talked to the concierge he told me to basically try to talk to the restaurants and basically plead with them to let me in which i found insulting. 3rd issue, checkout time is very early at 12 pm when most flights out of punta cana are around or after 6 pm. They ask you for 20 dollars per hour extra after 12pm which isnt bad i guess but still an inconvenience. 4th issue, they allow lots of people on their property that will basically try to sell you many things, from packages to jewlery to even cigars everywhere and they will approach you multiple times everyday, at the pool, beach and even the lobby.

We liked the property, set up and accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. We thought the food was sub par versus some other all inclusives weve been to. The restaurants were also all booked when we arrived so it took some arm wrestling with concierge to get dinner reservations.

Staff is absolutely amazing! Very clean. Food is a bit repetitive and there could be more activities planned like water volleyball etc.

Upon arrival we tried to book restaurant reservations for the week. We were able to only get one reservation the entire week. Defeated the purpose of all inclusive. Was extremely dissatisfied as we had to leave resort for dinners unless we wanted the same buffet every night

No many options in the buffet and restaurants are always fully booked. Beers are always warm, pretty common in all inclusive hotels, overall a nice hotel. Snack bar and bar in front of the beach were pretty good.

Everything was great at the hotel the employees were very helpful and friendly the only thing that was hard and Millie impossible was to get a reservation for the restaurants there were booked solid for over more than 2 weeks and I could not get in to have a romantic dinner with my wife

Gran y variada oferta de comida con muy buen sabor. Visitamos la mayoría de restaurantes y su personal es muy amable y profesional. Cabe destacar la excelente sazón de Olive Tree y sus camareros en especial a Françoise que siempre nos hizo sentir como en casa. On the Grill nos gusto mucho a cualquier hora del día. José el supervisor nocturno muy amable ya que nos consiguió una reserva allí. Excelente para desayunar allí o almorzar además de la vista al mar y su personal siempre muy profesional y atento! Lo desafortunado de nuestra experiencia fue la falta de 2 camas en la habitación a pesar de haberla solicitado varias veces antes de nuestra llegada y recibirla 24hrs después de nuestra llegada al hotel y de haberla pedido a varias personas en recepcion y al mayordomo. Optamos por adquirir el plan premium que nos pareció una buena opción sin embargo el servicio de nuestro mayordomo Manuel no fue el esperado y nos hizo dudar de haberlo pagado ya que el servicio de mayordomo no nos funciono pues poco nos ayudo a nuestros requerimientos pues hicimos las reservas en los restaurantes por nuestra cuenta y cuando quisimos su ayuda hizo la reserva equivocada sin percatarse del error y diciéndonos que también fue el nuestro por no revisar la reserva por WhatsApp. Un mayordomo debería ser mas diligente y anticipar los requerimientos de los huéspedes además de informar día a día las actividades en el hotel. El nuestro brillo por su ausencia. Sin embargo volveriamos encantados!!!

Tuvimos problemas desde el check-in, nos dieron habitación con una sola cama, para tres personas; y parecía que no les gustó cuando les pedimos el cambio de habitación. El humor del personal nunca fué realmente bueno, la mayoría del tiempo nos atendían con mala cara, sin ganas de servirnos en los bares, etc... Lo peor: nos salieron larvas (gusanos) en la comida, en una ensalada, fuimos a poner la queja y ni siquiera nos ofrecieron una disculpa! No les importó. De las veces que hemos visitado Punta Cana, lastimosamente, esta es la primera vez que tenemos una mala experiencia en un hotel de la zona.
