Great location but you do need to set up a porter to help with your bags.

The property is fine as a baroque hotel but short of a “palace”! The location is good within the old town but the neighborhood isn’t quiet. No elevator from the ground floor to the first floor but there’s one from the first floor to the higher floors. Breakfast, which was included in the booking, iwas a la carte with main dishes limited to 7-8 items and everything has to be requested from waiters including beverages. Fresh orange juice is served at an extra charge. Apart from the ladies who served us breakfast on the first and last days, the rest of the staff did not leave an impression. On the day of check out the young lady at the reception was very firm in her tone and told us sharply at 11am that we have to leave, when I told her that at every hotel we would have an hour or so more she replied very sternly “not here”!

Perfect place to stay for exploring Dubrovnik old city. Comfortable, quiet and breakfast is tasty! This hotel does not have parking because it is located within the old city where there are no cars allowed. Highly recommend staying here!!

terrific staff, nice room, great location. As with all hotels in the 'Old Town', you must walk from the city gate (with your bags) to the hotel, sometimes through narrow streets, up abundant stairs and on uneven roads, but this hotel was easy to get to and just one set of stairs to climb.

Grounds not accessible by car. You need to haul your luggage to get to hotel. I recommend to stay at a hotel outside of old town.

This is in a great location that's fairly easy to get to from the pile gate. Such a historic building and old town, just beautiful, especially at night from the rooftop.

Lovely, helpful staff, particularly Mattia who went over and above to help us. Rooms were clean and spacious. There is a lift in the property but on the 1st floor with some fairly steep stairs from reception up there which is something to keep in mind if you have any accessibility issues. Prijeko street is up some steps from Stradun (the Main Street) but if you go up Celestina Medovica street there are only 6 steps there as opposed to double that on other streets (useful to know when carrying cases/shopping etc).

This bed and breakfast was wonderful! The room was very clean with unique funky decor and gorgeous views of the old town roof tops out to the sea. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They also allowed us to store our luggage on our last day so we could continue to explore Dubrovnik. Fabulous experience!

Check in went smoothly, and the front desk staff helpfully arranged for a cab to the airport following checkout. (Though we wish they had told us it was cash-only.) We appreciated that the room decor was unique and not cookie-cutter. Several items in the George Heidweiller room needed maintenance. The armoire was shimmed with folded cardboard, and the door did not fully shut. The bathroom mirror had large chips on one corner. The soap dish broken. One of the headboard sconces didn't work. The elegant high ceilings made the small room feel less cramped. Having been the victim of pickpockets earlier in our trip, we were very disappointed that the room had no safe. The air conditioning was not up to the weather conditions, and we were uncomfortably warm. The front desk staff had warned us that opening the door to the balcony would shut off the air conditioning. Though we would not have used it anyway, because it was quite small and thisclose to the building next store, offering no privacy. The tiny bedside tables barely contained the lamps on them, so they could not accommodate anything else. We appreciated the refrigerator, but the small kitchenette was baffling. There was a dish drainer atop what we assumed to be a stove. There were some pots and dishes, but nothing with which to wash them. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, making us regret that we had dined elsewhere for dinner. Overall, we did not consider this hotel to be a good value.

The art in the room and throughout the hotel made for a lively feel and the staff was great. Note that you're in a bar and restaurant area, so you'll likely hear folks having fun nearby. Not a problem for us.

Excellent boutique property in the heart of Dubrovnik. Easy walking distance from the main gate of the city. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were well appointed. The decor is a bit quirky, but it adds charm to the restored building. We would stay here again upon returning. Tip: get a room with a balcony. :)

Great stay in the old city. They upgraded our room and all the staff was very friendly. It can be noisy in the evening (nothing that kept us from getting to bed around 11), but that's a given since you're in the old city and there are restaurants and bars around you. The A/C could have been stronger, but other than that, this was perfect!

Staying at this beautiful and historic Hotel was like stepping into a wonderful dream. Its location on a side street in the Old Town is perfect for exploring this fascinating City on foot. A dinner at the Hotel's rooftop restaurant at dusk was truly magical, wirh excellent food and wine, and an amazing view as dozens of alpine swifts darted through the air. Each person at the front desk provided very useful information regarding my stay, answered my logistics and other questions thoughtfully and even assisted with a fast and very reasonably priced in-house laundry service, invaluable on a long trip. My room was extremely comfortable and immaculate and had a small balcony. This Hotel is a treasure in every respect.

Beautiful art hotel in the center of Dubrovnik old town - less than 10 mins walk to all major spots. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and Matija was very friendly and welcoming during the check-in procedure.

We had a horrible experience at Prijeko Palace. Our room was located on the third floor, basically in the middle of a dining room. When we can back the first night, after a long day of sightseeing, we walked into a full restaurant. Our room was so loud that I almost had a breakdown. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and rude and told us to check out (without a refund) if we weren’t happy. I can’t express enough how much I dislike this hotel.

Overpriced for the quality of the facilities provided, customer service was poor and one member of staff in particular was rude and unprofessional in her approach.

This hotel is a gem! It was a wonderful place to stay right in the center of the old town. Breakfast was great. Service was also excellent. One morning, we were leaving too early for breakfast. The hotel arranged for sandwiches where were delicious. We were very impressed and happy with our choice!

Great central location and helpful staff who provided a lot of good recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. The main concierge even booked us a table for dinner at a nearby hotel that he recommended.

Great location inside the walls. Very interesting artwork. Unique. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t feel the staff explained the amenities well. We weren’t aware of the lounge. There was a young woman who was not very helpful. Overall we were glad we stayed there and would recommend.

Unbelievable hotel. With an unbelievable rooftop restaurant with the view everyone wants. One of the only rooftops in Dubrovnik. Try to book the Mark Verdoes room! Medieval 15th century palace converted into a boutique hotel :)

Staff in morning was preoccupied with the wrong business and at best dismissive when I tried to engage with her about our checkout plans. Food was not very impressive for a Michelin star hotel.

We had a good night staying at this property overall. It was on a Croatian bank holiday evening (night before) so the streets were very loud until the early hours. Room was spacious and in good condition. The only disappointment was the only way to enjoy the view from the roof restaurant was to have an expensive a-la carte menu in the evening. We would have loved to had breakfast or brunch up there instead of at street level. None the less it was a great hotel to experience staying in the walled city of Dubrovnik.
