Staff were very polite and helpful. Laundry, microwave, water dispenser and luggage scale were all on the same floor as Lobby, which helps. The rooms were nice and tidy and good size for the price we paid. Also great to be within walking distance to all of ikebukuro. However I felt the lights could do with an upgrade, either make them brighter or give us more lights, and not the dim icky yellow lights either. Please have lighting at all mirrors, and more than one light for the living space. The bed was great, not too soft, and I was well rested. Once again thank you to the staff who called me for when the washing machine was free. Would be perfect if you guys upgraded to a system that shows on room tv that a machine is free.

The staff were friendly and polite. The service was great. We stayed in a room with a large bed and there was enough space for big suitcases. The bathroom is a bit outdated as is some of the furniture, but the price and location were very reasonable for what we got, especially at the last minute. Our room did not have a microwave or laundry (we knew this when we reserved) but there were laundry and a microwave near reception that were free to use. The Denny's breakfast was a nice bonus! We would definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel is in good location. There’s anime shops nearby, bic camera, parco mall, and couple of train stations. There’s a walkable Ichiran ramen which we love and the famous I’m donut?. My only comment is that their rooms are small, specifically their shower and toilet area. It’s tight and a tall or big person will have an issue. Breakfast is served in on site Dennys chain. There is laundry available which is good if you need it. Staffs are courteous.

Pro: very close to Ikebukuro station, 7 eleven just downstairs, many great places for food, 4 washing machines/dryer at the reception level Cons: very dark inside the hotel, very small room for king size bed plus one extra bed, they didn’t even bother to put bed sheet on the extra spring bed (kids probably ok to sleep on this kind of bed, but not adult), bath towels are very small, more like hand towel, bathroom is very tiny and low, uou you have to get your own amenities such as toothbrush, cotton buds from reception level so a bit inconvenient, only have 2 lifts and each is very small

池袋駅からも近く、階下にコンビニとデニーズがあり大変便利です。朝食がデニーズというのも面白いと思いました。フロントの方は外国の方が多い印象でしたが皆さん日本語が上手でとても親切でした。部屋も綺麗でまた近くへ行く際は利用したいと思います。ただエレベーターが２つあるのですが、少し小さめな為、時間帯と乗る階によっては(フロントが3階)乗れない事があり、階段が見当たらなかった為、少しだけ不便を感じました。

I always love staying at the Ikebukuro area and this hotel was definitely a location i will be coming back to for future trips to Tokyo! The location is a bit tricky to find if you come by car because the gps will direct you to the front of the hotel on the main street but if you circle around to the back of the point on the map, there will be a parking area for Centurion hotel guests to have their car valet! Hotel consierge was very helpful and they have staff that also can speak english, korean, etc if you're worried about your limited Japanese comprehension. The room was so SPACIOUS? which i was not really expecting since it was in Tokyo, only 2 min walk from Ikebukuro station but it was such a nice surprise!!! Amenities are available on the concierge floor so make sure you grab things you need and that is also where the laundry is located. It is not complementary unfortunately, but understandable. The room was clean and location is super convenient so I highly recommend looking at this location for any future trips if you want to stay in Ikebukuro!

I have stayed here about 9 times now. The property is heavily used and slightly run down. It’s an average hotel with average priced rooms. The location is very convenient though which is why I stay here. The bathrooms often times have a sewage smell to them as there seems to be an issue with the venting in the building. Almost every room I’ve stayed in in this building has this issue.

We really liked the proximity of the hotel to the transportation. We easily explored tokyo for a few days. The staff was very helpfull and bilingual. However, we found a cockroach in the hotel and there was mold in the washroom.

The location is excellent, just a quick four minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and there’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs which makes it super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with all the basics you need. That said, I stayed in three different rooms at this hotel, and this particular one was by far the smallest. I only had carry-on bags, and there wasn’t enough space to open them unless I put them on the bed or the small desk. The desk didn’t even have a proper chair, just a low cushion seat like a footstool, so it wasn’t comfortable to sit and work on a laptop. The building itself feels a bit old, especially the elevator and hallways, and the lighting throughout is quite dim. The beds are firm, which is pretty standard in Japan, but from a North American perspective they can feel quite hard. If you have a sensitive back, definitely ask for an extra duvet for more cushioning. Overall, the location and service were great, but the room was extremely compact and not ideal if you need space or plan to work from the room.

The main plus for this hotel is the location. About 7mins from Ikebukuro Station. 7/11 right next to the hotel and many shops and food places within walking distance The hotel itself is very dated. Rooms feel small and dusty because of the room lighting and layout but it is actually clean. Staff are friendly and can speak English Stay here if you are not too fuss about the negative things and want to be in a convenient location

池袋駅から結構近くて便利ですが、騒がしい街なので、夜遅くまで外が賑やかです。０時過ぎて静かになった感じです。スタッフの方々皆さん、とても親切ですし丁寧に接してくれます。とても心地良いです。部屋はちょっと暗めですが、しばらく居れば慣れるので、そんなに気にならなかったです。フロント横に、水、お茶、コーヒーのサーバーが２４時間あるの嬉しいです。池袋での宿泊の際はまた利用したいです＾＾

Great location, 5 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station (2nd largest station in Tokyo). Quiet, could not hear neighbours or outside traffic (we were on the 13th floor). Air conditioning was awesome. Washer & Dryer available though it did get busy later in the evening and you would have to wait but there is a laundromat 2 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were very courteous and one of them was so helpful explaining how to navigate the subway station. Room was tight for 3 people but that's Tokyo.

Great location close to a ton of things including ikebukuro station, sunshine city, animate, Togo cinema, and a bunch of other conveniences. Staff were fantastic and helpful and did there best with English even though they weren’t fully fluent they could communicate perfectly fine. Would definitely stay there again

An above-average business hotel near Ikebukuro JR station. The basic rooms are pretty small, but the larger two-twin bed rooms and two-twin couch rooms are closer to what you might expect in a European or American budget hotel. Location is convenient, but definitely still has a touch of the red-light-district after dark. Still very safe though. Denny's downstairs is convenient for tourists but I beg you, do not eat there, there are two dozen better options within 5 minutes walk.
