Absolutely terrible. There was no hot water for three nights and no one was offered compensation unless they explicitly asked for it. There are no signs up and they kept telling us it would come back on and it never did. Abominably managed. Housekeeping came once and made one bed and not the other.

Front desk was friendly. Check in was easy. We asked for a later check out and they said that was fine but the house keeping opened our door before we checked out and said "Oh Sh@t I\'m sorry" Room was extremely dusty everywhere (tv stand, lamps, tv was dirty) Bathroom shelves were dusty. Breakfast was decent. Pool isn\'t big and the hot tub was closed. The ceiling down by the pool looks like it\'s fallen apart.

Hotel hot water was out my entire stay. I was going back and forth to the hospital on a family emergency. No offer to move me until the last night. Having the family emergency I didn’t have time for that and there was no offer of compensation. I had to take cold showers the entire stay

Needs refurbishing building and rooms feel tired and in need of TLC. Pool was a disaster plaster falling from the ceiling. Hot Tib closed.

We had no hot water, the hotel lobby was all torn up with construction which is understandable however there was no where to walk. Also during brunch they took away the tables and chairs. So there wasn’t availability for seating We were offered a credit for all the inconveniences and state of the hotel but since we had paid through hotels.com this couldn’t be given.

The first room we were in the toilet handal wasn't even attached to the toilet. Then there were no directions on the phone to call front desk, so you had to guess what button to press. We received a new room but it was so gross. There were crumbs on the dresser and table, we had to get up early for surgery so we just wanted to go to bed. I went in for a shower and the floor was gross, while taking a shower there were dirty hand prints in the wall (wasn't mine). The vending machines on the floor wasn't working. We were not happy at all

Our room had random (not sure if they were bodily) fluids splattered on the walls and our headboards. Coffee was not made- had to ask for it both mornings. 1st time at 7am , 2nd day at 8:30am. No food prepared 2nd , everything had run out.

Carpet and hard surfaces were gross. When I took a shower my feet left black prints when I stepped in the tub and the only place I had been barefoot was in the room

Sticky floors and stained carpets in my room made may stay underwelming. The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. For the price, i expect the rooms to be maintained better.

Lobby is very nice. Rooms are kind of outdated/ missing something. Room was big but in my opinion not worth the rates they charge. I’d stay here again but for far less than I paid.

Very disappointed the Suite that I seen on the website hotel.com for the Hampton Inn in Toledo was not the suite that I actually got when I got to the hotel. There was absolutely no furniture except what seemed to be two full-size beds, my 5 yr old grandson slept comfortably by himself,when they were supposed to be two queen size bed and the suite was supposed to have had a couch and a chair in it all it was was a big empty room with no furniture in it and was told that they couldn’t do anything for me. They couldn’t give me a discount. They couldn’t change my room. They couldn’t upgrade my room because I went through hotel.com to book the room another mistake. I will not ever book a room at this Hampton Inn again

Front desk staff were very friendly. I liked that they checked with me after to see how we liked our room and if there was anything we needed. Good customer service!. Never been to Toledo before and had a nice visit.

We had an issue with a noisy neighbor until it became unbearable at 2A.M. Melissa said she'd talk to them. I didn't believe that would do any good. She gave us another room on another floor so we were able to get some sleep. Very happy with her help and remedy.

When we checked in on Sunday evening, their system was completely down, so they had to check everyone in the old fashioned way. The young lady and young gentleman were fabulous. They were kind, patient, and did a wonderful job.

The only thing that we didn't care for is that on the night we checked in this location appeared to be completely understaffed. We had to wait at least five (maybe ten) minutes before anyone even appeared at the front counter to check us in. Breakfast was good, as normal.

Entire staff here was extremely rude. From checking in to asking for a toothbrush, the staff had no smiles and never greeted us. The pool was closed, which was super upsetting to find out after we checked in.

Sara was amazing! She was so helpful and kind to us in dealing with our breakdown on the way to my son's wedding. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay! Thank all of you!

The young man working the reception desk around 10pm on July 17th, was very impressive. A rude man without a shirt came into the lobby wanting to use the phone for a cab, and cursed at the receptionist, etc...and the receptionist handled it quietly and calmly and very respectfully...it was a situation that was obvious could have escalated, but it didn't due to the young man's demeanor. Felt safe at this hotel with my two children, and it was very clean and quiet.

I had a few items removed from my room. Spoke with manager. Received them back. Couldn't give an explanation on to why they were taken. Did not offer any compensation for inconvenience. They said it's just an error. An error is taking everything with the assumption the customer checked out. Not picking and choosing what you take. That's called theft.

Very pleased with the room and the hotel. Everything was top notch and probably one of the best rooms and hotels I have stayed in within the mid price range. Everything worked like it should, everything was exceptionally clean, and the area was excellent for dining as well as smaller shops, and also seemed very safe.

The only thing good about here was the large, cleanliness and comfortable room. The TV is way to small and older version. The picture value is cloudy and not very clear. The TV guide is not accurate on the available channels. Breakfast was very disappointing . Staff at the front desk weren't available all the time. I would have like a check out receipt not an empty check in/out desk to just put your room key in a box.

Very nice, clean hotel. Breakfast was included and they had a nice variety of food. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Many restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our visit.

The room was very clean. We stayed for two overnights. The breakfasts each morning were excellent. First morning was scrambled eggs with Canadian bacon. Second morning was cheese omelets with potatoes and maple smoked kielbasa. Have never had those meats at hotel breakfasts.
