Owners are very accommodating. We've stayed before and the upgrades of lawn furniture and kyaks were a good choice. Bird lovers take notice! Quiet and transformative from the hustle of downtown.

Room was clean but could use a little updating ( porch door). All in all a great value for the money. Proprietor was very accommodating with Kayak usage for the salt marsh accessible right from the back of the property! Highly recommend.

Quiet and clean room with ample space. Very nice proprietor and staff. Beautiful grounds overlooking the marsh. Coffee and bites to eat for bkfst. Free kayaks to use on the tributary and marsh. Loved it!

It was wonderful sitting just outside your room watching the birds flying around the marsh. Kayaks were included for use at the hotel. The only drawback was the smell of the marsh which is normal.

This is a comfortable and charming little inn right by the marshes in East Sandwich, run by a very lovely couple, with free use of kayaks for the inlets in the marshes. Continental breakfast with fruit and yoghurt is conveniently available each morning till 11 AM in the office. Just be aware that though the Expedia description states that Sandy Neck Beach is an "18-minute walk," it's actually a 40- to 45-minute walk (and I walk quickly), which is hot work in the summer sun! Best to have a car if you're going to stay there. It's an enjoyable and peaceful place to stay, and from which to explore the Cape!

I only stayed for one night during the week but it was very nice. The room was clean and had working A/C and a comfortable bed. The property itself has a beautiful location in a quaint part of the Cape, looking right onto a salt marsh. You can borrow a kayak and walk right out the back door to paddle up Scorton Creek. Really good value, wish I could have stayed longer.

Spring Garden Inn is great! The owners and staff are great! Simple in some ways and easy to stay there. They’re right on the canal and the kayaking from there is a lot of fun. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and cozy. We love going there with our kids and have been there many times when we go to the Cape.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning and I gave an extra star for that reason. The room although very cute needed a deep clean. There were cobwebs on the art pieces, the floors were soft from water damage from the window a/c and out of three hotels we stayed at on our trip this bed was the least comfortable and one of the more pricier places we stayed.

This is a unique and homelike motel that Steve and his wife, the owners, have kept in great shape for many years. It is family owned, with excellent housekeeping staff and thoughtful consideration of guest comfort. Steve serves a lovely continental breakfast from the office as there is limited common space. Trays are provided for guests to bring the food to their rooms. The room are immaculately clean. The surroundings are serene and lovely with gardens out to the marsh area. A lovely stay. The rates are very reasonable and the stay is consistently great. Thank you!

Unfortunately our first impression wasn’t great: a spider was found under one of the small cover blankets upon check-in and a bug crawling up the bathroom sink drain the first morning. There are upper units with balconies and lower units all connected. If there is a way to book the upper units with balconies, I recommend it because we were staying on the bottom unit and you can hear everything above you (the person above commonly would be walking around after midnight and before 6am, which is very annoying for light sleepers. The unit came with a dehumidifier, which was needed due to the humidity when we went, but because the dehumidifier outputs so much heat, you’ll need the AC running at the same time and you’ll need to remember to empty the dehumidifier bucket of water every couple days before it overfills on to the floor. Although there are a few beaches that are nearby by car, they are not walking distance as the description suggests. The property is located right next to the marsh as shown in the pictures, so if you are not used to approaching low tide near a marsh, be prepared for some sulfur smells. Overall the stay was ok for the price. Not many breakfast options. But host seemed nice during check-in.

The property is beautiful, with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view of the marsh. The check it was smooth and very pleasant. The room was small but clean, sweet and thoughtfully furnished. My only negative comment is that the bathroom floor badly needs replacing.

A wonderful setting & a quaint room w/a full breakfast offered. Very thoughtful! Our only issue would be paper thin walls. (We could hear people’s conversations next door) Otherwise we had a lovely stay!

This place is totally ok. Rooms are basic and old. No soundproofing so prepare to hear a neighbours tv etc. Not much the owner could do except a proper refurb to change. He kept the place clean and was v friendly and helpful. Thank you to him. We had room 1 which was next to the office and that added noise of people checking in. When it says breakfast. Expect a wrapped plastic muffin and cheap filter coffee. Nothing fresh but a sweetened yogurt. Would i restay? No. It wasnt for me. But if you are just looking for a cheap overnight stop its is as said. Totally ok.

It was so comfortable and homey. The room was small but it had everything we needed. The gardens provided a wonderful, quiet place to sit outside and enjoy the fall weather. They offered coffee, juice, fruit and pastries that we could take with us back to our room or to enjoy outside. It was very quiet and close to several restaurant options and outdoor activities. A great value for the money as well!

The only disappointment was that the breakfast could easily have been a step up. Otherwise, it was a beautiful location and a very reasonable price. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the marsh.

A red eye flight from Denver to Boston makes for a long day, especially if one cannot check into their lodgings until 3:00 or even 4:00. Thankfully, the managers/ owners of Spring Garden Inn Motel went above and beyond the call of duty to check is into our simple but charming room early. Customer service can be lacking these days, but not here. A+ service. The room itself is definitely vintage. Don't expect a modern vibe; on the contrary. Wood paneling accents the walls, giving the small room a warm and inviting feel. The bathroom is small, too, but adequate. The shower is hot, and water pressure, good. The age of the place means odd creaks and noise but that's to be expected. We could hear footsteps above us but it wasn't too bad. Our king bed was comfy. I often bring my own pillow when I travel and am glad I did. Theirs are thin but plentiful. The views of the marshlands are lovely and peaceful. We bought some steamed lobsters and ate them at a picnic table by our room. What a memorable treat it was! We would definitely stay at the Spring Garden Inn Motel again! All around wonderful stay, and affordable, too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Spring Garden Inn. The proprietor, Steve, was very accomodating on the phone and in person. The room was charming, neat, clean, and comfortable. Perfect for our nights stay. If you like friendly, with a touch of rustic, this is the place to stay.

I arrive late in the evening, driving in from Bradley International. The inn contacted me while I was on the road to ask when they could expect me. Since it was going to be after 9 p.m., when the office closes, they gave me instructions on how to find my room and left the door open for me. Very cute and cozy room. Woke up in the morning to discover the beautiful setting. Unfortunately they were booked solid for the next few days, or I would have spent a second night there.

Fabulous stay here. Very relaxing with views over the creek at the back of the Inn. Right by the roadside with ample parking right outside the room. Quick, easy check in. The room had everything we needed with a couple of comfortable chairs and that great balcony overlooking those fantastic views. No restaurant for breakfast but even better was a selection of goodies in reception which could be popped onto a tray and taken back to your room or eaten on the lovely chairs outside in the garden. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you.

Very nice room and comfy bed! Place is out in the middle of nowhere but would stay again. The only negative - other than no restaurants near by would be to offer coffee before 8am...we get up at 6am.

Had a pleasant stay at the Spring Garden Inn! Decent location to be based if you want to explore many different areas of the Cape. It was located in a peaceful area, very tranquil throughout the evening, we slept very well. The rooms are a little dated but the property is very clean, which is all that matters! Excellent value. I can see why the Inn had no vacancy the entire time of our stay. Popular little place for a reason :) Thanks again

We really enjoyed our stay . The view out of our room was beautiful. Location was great. They served muffins, fruit , coffee, and tea each morning.Our room was very clean. Our room was small but very clean. The bathroom needed a some renovation.

This place is totally ok. Rooms are basic and old. No soundproofing so prepare to hear a neighbours tv etc. Not much the owner could do except a proper refurb to change. He kept the place clean and was v friendly and helpful. Thank you to him. We had room 1 which was next to the office and that added noise of people checking in. When it says breakfast. Expect a wrapped plastic muffin and cheap filter coffee. Nothing fresh but a sweetened yogurt. Would i restay? No. It wasnt for me. But if you are just looking for a cheap overnight stop its is as said. Totally ok.

Loved the vintage feel of the rooms. Needs a little updating but clean and safe. Love the view!! Breakfast was little Debbie’s and coffee. But coffee shop down the road had an amazing breakfast burrito and great coffee.

The only disappointment was that the breakfast could easily have been a step up. Otherwise, it was a beautiful location and a very reasonable price. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the marsh.
