This hotel was very nice! I found it to be extremely clean and welcoming. The front desk personnel were nice and helpful. Convenient and easy self parking. The indoor pool and hot tub were definitely the draw to this particular hotel and they did not disappoint!

I booked this hotel specifically because they had an indoor hot tub when I checked in. I asked the front desk person what time the hot tub was open until she told me 11 o’clock fast-forward 20 minutes later I go down to the pool area and the hot tub button don’t work and then I go to step into it and it is ice cold, as I go to leave, there are no towels in the pool area but multiple signs telling you to dry off before you come back into the hotel. I had specifically asked about the hot tub. It would have been frustrating that it was broken but at least they would’ve been a problem with me and I would’ve went to a different hotel at check-in

Stay was okay. Room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was okay but since it was included I can complain. Main complaint was only one elevator was functioning. Swimming pool was not available and notification was not provided until you walk to the pool area.

The common areas floor and elevator needs a deep cleaning. They did occasionally slop a mop over the floor but it still looked incredibly dirty. The rooms also could use a deep clean and some dusting. The hotel felt safe and I have no other issues but I would definitely look into a nice hotel if I ever stay in Temple, TX again.

Upon arrival right outside the front door somebody had spilled something and it was not cleaned during our entire visit, the elevator floors and also the walls had fingerprints and dirt and it was never cleaned during our visit. We were not told upon check-in that the hot tub was not working and that the swimming pool was very cloudy. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. There was a very large group sitting in the breakfast area around 8:00 in the evening consuming a lot of beer and being very loud they set there for 2 hours while their children swam in the pool and made it where no other guests could have enjoyed either area.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very courteous, however the state of cleanliness in the common areas left a bit to be desired. Trash had been overflowing by the side entrance and the stench of rotting food there was unbearable. Checked in on Tuesday, yet it was not cleaned up until Friday. The room was nice, although it needed maintenance: the fridge did not keep food cold, the toilet chain on the flush handle kept getting caught making the toilet run constantly unless you jiggled the handle, the shower door was off its rail at the top, and the television set was dying (picture kept getting dimmer and dimmer). On the brighter side, the breakfast was very good - food was fresh and hot. All in all, I will likely check out another hotel if I was to return to Temple. I

The hotel, facilities, and room were all nice and comfortable and in general. Our issues were that we were put into a handicap room without our request or being told when we checked in. My wife has back problems and the constant bending over to use handicap features made it painful for her. Another issue was a large cockroach in our room and food under a headboard that had not been cleaned in some time.

Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Car trouble and heavy thunderstorms forced us to stop and spend an unplanned extra night on the road. Couldn’t have happened in a better place. Close to O’Reilly Auto Parts & Walmart. Great breakfast with cheese omelets and cinnamon rolls.

Close proximity to the hospital! I stayed here so I could work during the day and stay with my family member during the evenings. The staff is excellent, very friendly and always willing to accommodate. Breakfast is nice too! Chobani yogurt, banana and coffee was the perfect breakfast for me. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff is fantastic!

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Temple – Medical Center Area and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the hospital and everything else we needed during our trip. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and our room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and I really appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night. We got some of the best rest we’ve had in a while! One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the staff were. They were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed—including providing us with a crib for our little one, which was a huge help and much appreciated. If you're visiting the Temple area—especially for medical reasons or traveling with family—I highly recommend staying here. It’s comfortable, reliable, and delivers great value. We’ll definitely be back!

I reserved a room with two queen beds and instead received a King Suite, which only has one bed. The linen was what looked like small droplets of blood stains. We went down to the attendant and asked for a different room, and she stated she had none. Later, when we went to use the bathroom, the light for the mirror area was out. I went down stairs to get a new bulb, I had to wait 30 minutes for the front desk person to show up. No one was around. I did eventually get a new bulb. The a/c unit was so loud we couldn't sleep. I will never stay there again. I will never recommend anyone to stay there. Personally, we should get our $300 back.

Getting there was easy. Once we walked in there was no one at the counter for at least 5 minutes. Someone finally radioed for help. The lady came from the back office and finally checked us in. We were on the 1st floor which i dont personally like because people thunder walk all the time!! Doors and walls are thin so tou can literally hear conversations and tvs going! Bed was super comfy and everything was very clean. Shower was amazing with a nice stream and hot water!! At some point alarms where going off, but they said it was all good and seemed irritated when people came out of their rooms with concern! All in all it was a nice hotel and clean.

The entire hotel was clean and the afternoon / evening front desk staff was very friendly.She had a smile and said hello every time I saw her. The complimentary breakfast had several different options and was well stocked.

Chose this property specifically because it had a hot tub, as we were traveling all day. Upon arrival, we were told that the hot tub heating element was broken, so the hot tub was cold. The gal at the front desk apologized and offered to request a partial refund. Management would not issue any kind of credit. Also, shower has mildew in the corners.

My mom and i were in Temple because my Dad had a surgery at the Scott & White hospital. So after an exhausting day at the hospital the convenience of location was perfect! A clean room and comfortable bed was most welcome

This Hotel was very very clean, the beds were super comfortable, breakfast was very good and fresh plus the staff was absolutely nice, helpful, and all around wonderful. We travel frequently and this was the best hotel we had ever stayed at. All the staff was excellent but one girl in front named Ebony really left a lasting impression. We will Most definitely be coming back to this Holiday Inn. Whoever the manager at this hotel is give yourself a pat on the back. Great Hotel!

Check in was easy. Got to the room key didn’t work so back to front desk to fix the keys. Picked this higher priced room for indoor pool and included breakfast. Kitchen was broken so no hot items for breakfast. Pool was green and spa was broken. Been that way for months. Room was nice and comfortable.
