Hotel was great. The staff were very professional and friendly at all times. Check in was fast and smooth. Room exceeded our expectations. We got a wine bottle at arrival and room had everything we needed, it even came with bath robes. Bed and pillows were comfy. There is plenty of great restaurants around that you can walk to. And there’s an Oxxo a block away in case you need some snacks. The area seemed very safe even at night. They have a nice pool on the rooftop with some lounge area to relax. We definitely recommend the restaurant close by “La Tequila” it’s phenomenal. Will be staying again on our next trip to Guadalajara.

Front desk person was unpleasant, and the towels were need it to be request everyday as the maid takes the used towels and do not leave the clean ones at the time room. The pool looks great, but please spend the resources to keep it warm in the cold season for us to be used for the cost of the night.

El servicio de valet es pésimo: no están atentos. Al llegar tuve que dar 6 vueltas a la cuadra porque nadie salía y no tienen un lugar bueno par estacionar. Las dos veces que ocupé salir, igual el valet no estaba u tuve que esperar demasiado.

Estuvieron pintando el piso en horas de transito y no se pudo pasar alberca ,ni al gimnasio. Se pudo ver lo tado dura te la noche para no afectar la rutina del huésped.

Hotel location is good. Room size is fairly big, towels were dirty, we asked for clean ones, got dirtier ones! Not just stained, dirty, as in they had been used, housekeeper said she was so busy, sometimes dirty oned got mixed in with the clean ones, gross.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is very quite and located in an excellent area of town. The staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. En la primer opcion de habitacion la ropa de cama estaba sucia y rota. Nos cambiaron de habitacion y en esa la cabecera estaba sucia y el refrigerador olia mal y aparentemente tenia hongos. El servicio fue tardado las veces que lo solicitamos. Amablemente nos dejaron hacer late check out.

Extraordinaria ubicación. Las habitaciones excelentes. Los baños y regadera inmejorables. El desayuno incluido delicioso y el fin de semana incluso con un bufet muy bueno. Lo único que les falla es que las habitaciones no cuentan con calefacción. Nos tocaron unos días muy fríos y la habitación parecía congelador.

Stayed here a couple of times but was a bit disappointed this time around. Booked a suite thinking it would be more comfortable than the smaller rooms and I was wrong. The sheets and comforter had red stains on them, the table lamps were flimsy and wobbly and just out of style, the hand-held shower’s hose kept coming lose and spraying everywhere and the larger rain shower head above was all clogged up and leaky. Also water kept going from low pressure to high and the temperature from cold to boiling every couple of minutes. To make matters worse, the wifi does not properly work un the 4th floor where our room was. I don’t think I’ll be staying here my next time in GDL.

Their attitude significantly impacted my stay, and sadly, overshadowed the hotel’s physical appeal. It’s a real shame to see such a lack of professionalism in a place that otherwise has potential. Due to the poor service I received throughout my stay, I would not return to this hotel.

I really like this Hotel, I have stayed here a few times. The staff is very friendly and Eduardo was very helpful. The charges are confusing though. It says free airport shuttle but they just call a car service and you have to pay? This is fine but it needs to be clear. Also on the breakfast menu, it clearly states "free" breakfast for Hotel guests but then you have to pay? This is not acceptable. Make the details clear for your guests or you won"t have any.

This property is our favorite place to stay when we come to Guadalajara. The place is always clean, the beds and pillows are excellent, and the staff is exceptional, from Karla at the front desk, to the bellmen, Joel and Rafael who are always ready, with a smile, to help. It feels like home and we will continue to stay at the Square hotel when we stay in Guadalajara. We rate this a 5 star hotel!

We love the staff at this hotel, we had a little problem but the hotel staff was quick to resolve the problem and actually went over and above what we expected. We travel from California to Guadalajara many times a year and this will be the hotel we plan on staying at each time we come. It also is in a wonderful location, walking distance to multiple upscale restaurants. Lastly, the beds are extremely comfortable. All the things we look at when we choose a hotel.

Cassandra and Carlos at the desk were very helpful, Eduardo, Rafael, Joel and Moses at the door were very helpful as well. Had many fine meals upstairs with Jorge JJ Kevin Javier a very fine group of gentlemen great people and great servers!

I like the location. All right I have also stayed in the hotel across the street. Only thing is the room they gave me 103 was very nice. But at night next door there's like a bar that play really loud music. But it wasn't really that bad I was able to go to sleep. I will come back but I'll ask for another room and not next to the bar

I always love staying here. It’s so quiet. The beds are comfortable. The room is beautiful. The attached restaurant is good. There is a convenient store within walking distance and a delicious bakery as well.

This hotel is located in Vallarte Norte, one of the best and safest areas in Guadalajara, close to many excellent restaurants. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are espacios and comfortable and the customer service is great, the staff is very polite and welcoming!

Everything was fine except for some staff and few issues with the hotel. Some staff at the front desk were just not attentive, where as there were some great ones. Not the biggest issue. The issues: - There’s some bar or club in the lobby and the music is blasting, people singing that you can hear at night from your room -The heat didn’t work, so it was freezing -The restaurant was randomly closed at night, before their closing hours. The food was also not great Overall, its was a place I could sleep at safety that was near the doctors office I was there for so it did the job

I really like this Hotel, I have stayed here a few times. The staff is very friendly and Eduardo was very helpful. The charges are confusing though. It says free airport shuttle but they just call a car service and you have to pay? This is fine but it needs to be clear. Also on the breakfast menu, it clearly states "free" breakfast for Hotel guests but then you have to pay? This is not acceptable. Make the details clear for your guests or you won"t have any.

Extraordinaria ubicación. Las habitaciones excelentes. Los baños y regadera inmejorables. El desayuno incluido delicioso y el fin de semana incluso con un bufet muy bueno. Lo único que les falla es que las habitaciones no cuentan con calefacción. Nos tocaron unos días muy fríos y la habitación parecía congelador.

My check-in process was smooth; however, I had to wait over 2 hours for my room to be ready. The evening front desk staff were unfriendly. In one instance, I went to the front desk to ask about room service and felt like a bother. The gentleman seemed irritated that I was interrupting his cellphone use. The food at the Skybar was terrible. I ordered the steak and it was raw.

Had a two night state over our family visit. Wonderful welcoming better comfy. All the small amenities were very appreciative. Nice to have a pool on the rooftop. The beautiful view. With a great neighborhood. Easy to walk around local bakery, wine shops, easy access, too many things would definitely stay there again.
