This is a well maintained property with a friendly staff. My only knock is that they charge for parking, which is a bit ridiculous given that they aren’t directly in a resort district or any type of area that warrants such a hidden extra cost. The gentleman at the from desk was super nice when we arrived. I think his name was Omar or Oscar. He was really friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean. Our room was huge. I loved the extra space and the big tub. The pool was a bit small but we still enjoyed it. This was my first time staying here at Ayres, I used to stay at the hotel next door ALO. However, Ayres will now be my go to place for my family.

Hotel was clean. We did not spend much time in the hotel, so we did not have a chance to use the amenities, i.e. the gym, pool, etc. Also did not try the breakfast. The only thing that I did not like was how the parking was charged because it was confusing and had to be paid via my phone. The confusing part was that I paid using the area/section number that was posted by my car, and later on, after returning from dinner, the only parking I could find was in the parking garage, which has a different section number. Was I supposed to pay again to be covered in this section?

Called & emailed in advance to let staff know had elderly parents with health issues to make sure they could get in room immediately after flying in to rest. Waited 3 1/2 hours and to make matters seem longer they kept saying it should be "30 more minutes"....for 3 1/2 hours. parents were exhausted. Dirty towel left hanging on bathroom door hook.

It's a nice hotel with good amenities and a good location. The check in took 30 minutes to get through the line, which maybe had 12 groups of guests in it so that was a bummer. Also, if you're sensitive to noises and also have terrible luck like me, ask for a room on the top floor. We were below a basketball team I'd assume from the amount of running around, banging, hitting walls that went on at almost all hours. Woke me up at 530am, was still going on after 11pm. The ceilings are very high and I wish they had used some of that room to invest in some better sound proofing between floors. Also, there's this weird little 4 foot partition between the two beds. I'm guessing the set up is more for privacy if you're with kids? Although I'd think I'd rather be able to keep an eye on my kids. If you're two friends that want your own bed but still want to hang out it makes it difficult because sitting on your bed you cannot see the other bed.

Pros: Complimentary breakfast, comfortable bed, clean spaces and excellent service Cons: Rooms have terrible noise isolation. Level 1 rooms along the road are the most prone to noise and disturbances from traffic. Level 3 rooms are less prone to traffic noise but it is an issue for those who are sensitive to sound. Roof noise is an issue too. Thumping can be heard from upstairs residents.

Outside of the poor quality WiFi, the property is nice, and customer service was top tier from the front desk. The third morning (day of checkout), the dining staff (gentlemen) wasn’t engaging and potato’s were undercooked and yet parts burnt along with the eggs(browned)…. Looked and tasted rushed. The second day, the pancakes tasted like Perfume/ chemicals and the orange juice cocktail, and apple juice tasted like tea… otherwise the food was good.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The room was HUGE, so spacious and the beds were separated by a little partition, giving each side their own space. Tons of storage in the room, comfortable bed and pillows, good breakfast, and it had a huge bathtub and shower which I loved. My only complaint is that we couldn’t turn the AC on lower than 68 degrees, so the unit turned off anytime it got down to that temperature. So if you’re someone who likes it on for the noise, or who really likes a cold room, that is something to be mindful of. Also parking was free which was so nice even though it said there would be a fee. Hopefully it stays that way!

I called in the morning before arriving to the property asking if we could do an early check in, they said my room was available and that we can. I come in and they they said its an additional $35. I respect that theres a fee but i just wish that information was communicated on the phone before I drove out to the hotel.

Booked an hour earlier through hotels.com. Got to hotel and they said they did not have reservation. I showed them reservation on phone. Said i would have to wait for it to come through. Asked if they could call. They said no. Asked if i could get a room and give them a credit card in case it never came through so i could at least get to the room. They said no. After waiting another 30 minutes i did an extensive google search and finally found the unpublished number for hotels.com. They were able to push it through. The room ended up being a handcap room. In the morning tried to ise shower. Only a hand shower with the wrong mount for hand shower. Would only spin back to wall. Had to hold it yhe entire time. Also shower curtain was 4 inches from bottom so water went everywhere.

The hotel is located along a busy commercial street and near a major freeway. Very convenient and easy to access. Once on the premises, I found convenient parking and entered a welcoming lobby. Once in my room, I felt like I was at a retreat.

Was a nice place to stay convenient to UCI Orange Hospital. Facilities and roomswere clean. Staff was nice. The bed was very comfortable. We have a king. Bathroom is clean and updated. We went to breakfast at 7am. Had a good variety for breakfast. Our only complaint is they seemed unable to keep the food, warm, cold pancakes, cold eggs, cold sausage. I may need to change to a new system for keeping the food warm. I believe breakfast was from 6 AM to 9 AM.

The room was beautiful. The property was also very nice. It was on a busy road but we didn't hear traffic noise from our room, on the other side. Breakfast was very good, good variety. Only complaint was we were staying to go to Disneyland one day. The breakfast isn't served until 7, we had to leave earlier than that. We missed out. It would be better if it started at 6. I would stay here again!
