Pros: decent place to stay on the way through. Cons: Air conditioner wouldn’t go down or get colder. Was a very hot and uncomfortable night. Hidden fee: when booking, the site stated that parking was free or complimentary. Upon arrival, a fee was charged by the front desk to park. Overall: not the worst place to stay, but not the best. After the added parking fee, it wasn’t any cheaper than the others that I compared. I definitely felt as if it was a sneaky or scam way to get people in, then charge them hidden or unexpected fees once they get there. Expedia needs to add to their site that a parking fee will be added upon arrival to the hotel. Maybe that Is the hotels way of “punishing” or collecting additional money for those who book through Expedia or other third party companies/websites.

All was goid and clean. No issues at all. Would have preferred a bathtub instead of shower. Also was hoping indoor pool meant it was heated or at least warm enough to swim but it was not. Its January and indoor just means indoor not heated lol

If passing through Waco for business, we usually stay at this hotel. It’s a great location, clean, and well maintained. This stay, however, the exterior lights at the entrance weren’t working, so it felt a little dark and unwelcoming (and even a bit unsafe). It’s an issue that’s being repaired, we were told at check-in.

Great hotel. The only thing negative about our stay was that only one of two elevators were working during the weekend. The hotel was at full capacity so there were long waits for the one elevator at times...especially during the Sunday checkout times.

This was a nice hotel with a comfortable, quiet room and a really nice breakfast. One elevator was broken, which didn't seem to cause any significant delays. The ice machine on my floor wasn't working either, but I went to the first floor and got ice there. It has a gym and a pool and is walking distance to one of the best restaurants I had experienced on the trip (Saltgrass). Staff was pretty friendly. Lots of smokers around outside. Plenty of free parking. I was happy with my stay.

Boy! I loved this hotel. It was so much better than where we stayed in Dallas – we stayed at the Beeman which you had to pay for parking because there was nowhere to park and they did not have a breakfast and the rooms weren’t spacious. This was FIRST RATE to stay at the next night, considering the first night in Dallas ~ clean, spacious, kind, lots of parking. We were really happy & slept well!

The lobby was clean and the staff was very welcoming! I want to send a special shout out to Jenae that checked in a bus load of tennis players in 5 minutes! She was very professional, fast and efficient! The rooms were fabulous and the cleaning crew were so nice and on point! The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the middle of restaurants and very close to a very busy shopping area. The hotel offered a continental breakfast that was great! The had pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, bagels, muffins and different types of juice to name a few. I had the best time and next time I come to Waco I look forward to coming back to this hotel! Thank you so much!

I truly enjoyed my stay it was very pleasant the concierge was extremely friendly and checked me in quickly. Upon entering the room I could smell the cleanliness and cleaned stocked towels. Breakfast had variety of food choices and the coffee was great. As I was leaving to check out the next day one of the cleaning staff greeted me very politely. Walking through the hall to leave I could smell the cleanliness of the facility and appreciate it. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future.

Very nice hotel, only exception to our stay would have to be the air conditioner. The thermostat does not read the actual room temp and is limited to 66 degrees. The room never got cool enough to be comfortable for us to sleep so we switched it from auto to hi fan to help move the air so the compressor would kick on when the room warmed up. This seems to be a problem with several other hotel chains also so it’s not an isolated problem.

The areavand the outside and lobby of the property were good. The pillows were very poor quality. The nouse level at this hotel was terrible. We could hear the people in the pool and we were on the 4th floor. We could also hear the guests in the other rokms every word . We wont stay at this location again.

We were not happy that the temperature in the room was controlled. Our thermostat would not go lower than 65 and even when on the on option it still found itself shutting off. This was the worst Holiday Inn Express we’ve ever stayed at and you guys are our set preference. Disappointed for sure.

Most everything was fine, but the AC was not very good. To be fair, we didn’t notify the front desk, but the wall thermostat was non functional and we could only turn the unit on at the window but it didn’t cool down adequately until 10pm. Another couple traveling with us was staying in a separate room and their shower controls were only accessible if you stood directly under the shower head.

I read several bad reviews about the property and still decided to make my own opinion. Im glad i did the staff was all really nice and helpful. They went above and beyond. We brought a air mattress for my daughter and it sprung a leak and they brought us a roll away bed right away and we thank them greatly for that. Would definitely go back.

The hotel staff at check-in was great. The staff member at checkout refused to issue a paper receipt and said I would get one via email, which I did not. She didn't even get up from her chair to speak to me at the counter.

Hotel had over booked our room. We arrived about 6 pm after cleaning a relatives home who had recently passed away. We were tired and dirty. Ms. Debra was friendly and apologized. We had paid for a a 2 queen with sofa bed room. We received a 2 queen room. 2 family member drove back home since they were just an hour away. We were not refunded or reduced price for the down grade or inconveniences.

Debra who worked the front desk during the day and evening went out of her way to make our stay great. The printer was down so I sent a doc to her to print. She had trouble printing it but she kept at it and brought it to me at my room. She was just so nice and really made our stay fantastic.

I was booked for two nights. I had a very serious emergency and had to leave after the first night. I explained my situation to the desk clerk and was told they could not refund my money for the second night. Even though I had taken out insurance that should have covered the second night. I have talked with them and Expedia talked to them, and they still refuse to refund my money for the second night. I will never stay there again.

Our air conditioner worked really well in our room but our toilet wouldn't keep water in it so we had to bucket water from sink to toilet and the breakfast was absolutly terrible!

I really enjoyed this hotel. Everything worked very well. The breakfast was perfect. They had omlets both with and without cheese, great coffee and Cinnabon rolls which were delicious. I did not use the TV or internet. Cell reception was LTE 4 bars. I would definitely stay here again.
