The hotel was not bad only if they had a pool

Toilet seat was crack with tape over it, pool was green and unusable. Found hair still in bed and a pillow. Room was very spacious though.

This place needs to be condemned. The paint is a violent yellow/green that's cracking, the shower has black mold and the smell of overwhelming cleaning supplies to cover up the mold is horrendous. We found cockroaches in the bathroom and the carpet was sticky. We are all for an old budget friendly hotel but this one is unsafe and a health concern. DO NOT believe the photos on their posting. Also the pool has been closed for years. I wouldn't spend $20 here let alone the $200 we got charged. The owner was rude and disrespectful when we kindly asked for a refund. It is most definitely an intentional scam. Save your money and sanity and go to the comfort inn or anywhere else.

I liked the location and the price compared to other properties nearby. Facility maintenance is lacking but most of all we booked our stay based on the pool. When we arrived the pool was still covered and there were no plans to open it. We were there at the end of June and the pool should have been open. I operated an outdoor pool in Western North Carolina and kept it swimmable every day of the year.

Like to have a refund no pool when we arrive it show a pool open on web site plus ice machin was not working for 2 days

We liked the price and the room size. The cleaning people are competent. The owners do not speak much English and are only learning the computer systems they have. There were 3 rusty hot water heaters in front of our unit. There are at least 30 rooms but only three rooms had cars in front of them. There is a pool, but the water was dark green. There is an oil change business next-door that leaves bright lights on all night shining in our windows. EVERYONE WAS VERY PLESANT, but not communicative regarding the facility, the town, or local restaurants. We stayed 3 nights.

There was NO pool!

Room was nothing that was advertised. Mold on furniture and shower. The floor was black stained from what I hope was just years of dirt. Dont trust the reviews!

It’s just very run down. Black mold on the shower curtains so we didn’t use that. Also found some kind of dried crusty food on my sheet, it wasn’t just a stain. Stripped it off and just slept in long clothes to avoid touching anything. At the very least they do have bed bug covers on the mattress so that wasn’t an issue. Their English is very poor which is fine except if there’s an issue that needs to be resolved it makes it difficult to communicate.

Please see attached photos. The room had black mold and there was something bad going on at the water heater. The room had a horrible deodorant (sweet/floral) that did not dissipate. I think it was to cover the mold smell. The entire staff hung out in the parking lot so you had to go find them to attempt to get anything taken care of. There was no opportunity for WiFi to be available. The room seemed to have a bug issue as seen in the mold pic. The person at the service desk said he only spoke Hindi (in English). Refused to return the money I had paid. I told him I was calling the health department Monday to report the building as a health hazard. I am currently waiting for your company to tell me I get a refund (I really think I deserve that refund).

Dirty, old rooms ….. bugs and spider , terrible smells …. Stay away travels

I liked having the separate living room and kitchen. The cost was very low. However, the unit was not clean from long term non-maintenance. The florescent yellow bathroom has paint everywhere outside of lines and even in the tub. The plastic floor molding was even pulled away from the wall. The carpet was sticky, to the extent that my 1 year olds feet turned black. The eating utensils provided were plastic. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. The kitchen chair was even dirty. This would be a great place to stay after a unit makeover and deep clean.

Mildew in bathroom.

You definitely get what you pay for. I appreciate the cheaper prices hotel but unfortunately certain things are compromised when paying less. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was friendly. The room seemed ok upon entering but noticed the walls were disgusting, looked like they hadnt been painted or wiped down in forever. A dead bug had been smashed on the wall and left there. The bathroom floor and tub were disgusting. I refused to take a shower there. A hair was found in the bed when we pulled the sheets back. We didnt want to swim but will mention the pool is not in use, for those that might be interested. I will say it was a quiet stay and we felt safe being there. The room just needs a good cleaning/scrubbing.

I booked a king suite and was shocked at how this property could have good reviews. If it had not been so late we would not have stayed. Our feet stuck to the floor in the kitchen and bathroom and it was pretty evident that the floors had not been cleaned. The place appeared to have been painted without masking anything and there were paint patches of bright green on the ceiling, baseboards, switches etc. The attic hatch in the bedroom area was coming away from the ceiling. The bathroom had a locked door where water was trickling out, indicating a complete lack of maintenance. The room smelled heavily of deodorizing sprays and it appeared that mold was an issue.

It was a nice location. Off the beaten path - easy in & out. Not much available for the continental breakfast tho. Couldn't keep internet connection - kept losing the network so t.v. was not easy to watch or use @ all! The biggest disappointment. Couldn't even watch a movie!

It was quiet and spacious however, if you want to cook in the kitchen bring your own pans. The bed needs updated wear it wouldn’t be so hard. Didn’t get a good nights sleep due to the bed being so uncomfortable. Needs a modern upgrade. Enjoyed the quiet area

We were expecting a typical hotel room, but it was more like a small apartment. Kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, bedroom with a very comfortable king sized bed. Nice complimentary breakfast and very accommodating staff.

The internet didn't work and the in room refrigerator didn't work.

The knob to the air conditioner could not be adjusted for the temperature.

It was like a mini apartment. Apartment size refrigerator, microwave, 2 tvs, bed and couch. Quiet and no issues

The motel is a bit dated. The room was spacious. We had the room with a full kitchen, it was stocked with plates and utensils. Good place for the price

The rooms were clean and spacious. But the bed and pillows were so bad I would have left if I had been able to. I would not stay here again nor can I recommend. These were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever stayed in.

Check in staff was rude, room was extremely dirty. Asked staff for another room and he yelled saying "this is the room you get with Expedia, no other rooms available." Did not stay, trying to get refunded. He told me Expedia would charge me, not him. When speaking to Expedia they said he charged me. Terrible experience.

The staff went out of their way to meet our needs.

They had a sign that said they were open until 10pm but no one was there. When we were already leaving he came and told us he was open until 9pm and we made the reservation after then. We stayed elsewhere

You get what u pay for. For the price it was great. It was clean and the staff was very nice.

The property was very beautiful and conveniently located. Also all of the facilities were clean. I checked in kinda late the staff was not very welcoming or accommodating.

When we arrived, nobody greeted us or responded to our greeting until a conversation in Hindi held by 4 people, 2 of them customers, ended. Then we were only asked for our names, driver\'s licenses, and credit card. We needed to take a late check-out because we were going to another place after 3 p.m., way later than 11 a.m., their check-out time. The clerk did not understand our questions, which we repeated multiple times, and at the end, he answered: "No, checkout at 11 a.m. only," and stood up showing us the exit door. While we waited standing, the smell of something being cooked next door to the reception (which looked more like a storage room) filled the entire place. It smelled like some meat being boiled with spices or something like that. It was very strong. We went to the room as indicated, and found the TV had broken speakers, the smoke alarm had been ripped from its place, and the bathroom had mold all over the shower curtain and the sink. The coffee maker would overfill the very small cups provided, regardless of the size chosen to brew the drink.

Dirty and staff was not friendly. Definitely not worth what we paid for the night.

As an older woman traveling alone, I’m especially concerned about safety. The motel grounds were well-lit and I felt completely safe the whole time. The host and hostess, even with the language barrier, were friendly and prompt and efficient when there was a plumbing problem. I won’t hesitate to stay here again when I’m back in the area. Glad I found it.

It has a fence all the way around the property making us feel like maybe it’s not a great area.

Considering the price it was definitely a good value. Clean, safe, no issues with billing. AC units worked properly. Breakfast bar limited but we just wanted a good place to crash. I was a bit concerned that the smoke detector looked quite old even though the green light was on. I would also have liked to be able to make a cup of coffee before the lobby opened at 7am.

While this property is an older one, it is clean and the rooms are comfortable. It looks as though they are working to update the outside and grounds, which are mostly pavement parking. They had a nice free breakfast selection. Great TV access as well.

My fiance and I decided a last minute trip for New Year's/ our anniversary. This place was great for what we needed! The room was clean and I was surprised to see a new Keurig as well. Them having a microwave as well is a huge plus. The walls were bright green and yellow which is a choice... Buuttt since we just needed a safe place to sleep, we can handle that! There was coffee, fruit, muffins, cereal, and juices for the Continental breakfast which was perfect to kick off the morning. The staff was very nice and clearly hard working. If you are looking for a safe and reliable place to sleep while you explore the area, great pick! We even walked downtown which was a huge benefit on a holiday notorious for drinking.

Had difficulty communicating with manager when we arrived at property. Told breakfast was 7-10 Went to office at 915. There were 3 dry cereals and apple juice available. Asked if er wanted milk. Asked if they had anything else and were offered an apple. We got a cup of coffee and left. Room was very clean and neat. Property looked tired. would not stay there again.

The room was clean and the property was quiet. It's in an out of the way spot and there were few guests. My only real complaint is that we had no wi-fi. There was a pool in the middle of the parking lot, but it looks like it hasn't been maintained in a long time and it made the property look not so good. There is a "breakfast", but there's not much too it, so look elsewhere for that. I feel that the price is too high for the quality of the motel, but it's getting to be that way everywhere.

The pool was absolutely dirty, the staff welcomed us in socks. And the breakfast was cereal and muffins but no milk to go with the cereal. Or any other refreshments for breakfast.

Staff was welcoming and accommodating to our last minute booking. Place could use some renovations- our room had mildew on the walls and you could tell there had been water damage on the floors that hasn’t been addressed. Otherwise the room was clean. Provided breakfast consisted of muffins, apples/oranges and cereal. Overall the stay here was pleasant.

Place was unkept, smelly, dishes seemed not to have been cleaned in a while. Splattered paint where they had done painting annd a bad job of painting and the baseboard was coming apart. Furniture had crumbs and not in good condition. Says breakfast but only had some muffins, not sure how old they were, and cereal and milk. The Keurig coffee maker made lousy coffee. I won’t stay again.

We used this hotel for an overnight stay on our way to another destination. In general, the room was pretty clean, but the bathroom had a mold problem and the pool was not functioning at the time of our visit. Also, the breakfast was stale cereal and prepackaged muffins that was not particularly appetizing. Overall, if you need a place to rest your head for the night and you're not overly allergic to mold, then this is a perfectly okay place to lay your head for the night. Don't be fooled by the free breakfast or the pool. Both of those are overrated. I will say that the couple that runs the motel is very friendly and happy to help with anything that you ask.
