It was a great welcome and there were fresh cookies which made reception area smell lovely. Lobby and dining room had been refurbished. Rooms were in good condition and everything looked clean. Only gripe was that the floors creaked so we could hear the guests upstairs. We had a bite in the restaurant which had a small but adequate menu and a good bar. Breakfast was great. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and efficient. We'd stay again

I was completely disappointed to find out that the pool is not currently open. I chose this hotel only because it had a pool since I swim daily due to pain/mobility issues. Had I known the pool was not currently open, I would NOT have stayed at the hotel.

Great location directly across from shopping center. The staff was super great, friendly, accommodating, professional. The food was most excellent. The only thing I did not like was the pool was very, very small.

The staff was very nice however I don’t think the room was vacuumed properly before my arrival I did find pieces of chicken in the floor near the television everything else was fine and had a good experience, if you decide to stay here and use the amenities just know the pool is small and the water is cold

No one came in to clean or service room during day, which was a terrible surprise after being out all day. Staff practically nonexistent. Took almost a half-hour just to check in and no one was at the front desk for checkout (just a Dropbox for keys) so couldn’t even complain about lack of housekeeping.

Was a very beautiful hotel inside and out. My suite had one window that faced another wall of the hotel so i didnt rwlaly get much of a view although the hotel would have been in a great location. Also wasnt told they would not be cleaning the room unless i asked until i checked out and asked why the room hadnt been cleaned and the front desk worker just told me "cause you didnt ask for it". I miss the days it was a given unless you told them not to.

Nice lodging. Great view from the mountaintop. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. One negative. This was a multi-day stay. The first day housekeeping never entered our room. We came back to an unmade bed, no fresh towels and no cleanup. We did not expect or need fresh bedding, but come on, make the bed. Other than that it was a good stay. Jack and Diane

Checked in very late (12:30 am). Only stayed til 5:30. Went to use shower in the morning and the shower drain was clogged and water was up to my ankles. Tried to mess with the drain plug and black debris was then floating in the water. Was disgusting. Mentioned it to person when checking out.

While in our room you could hear people running above us. Everytime the commode would flush either in room beside of us or above us you could hear the water. The walls and ceiling must be paper thin. As many hotels my family and I have stayed at I have never been able to hear any of these things. We went to lobby to grab a few snacks and a bottle of water. I could see paying maybe $10-$15. Nope it was like purchasing something from an airport over $35 which is outrageous. We will never stay there again

Staff was very accommodating and helpful when our first room smelled like cigarette smoke. They did switch us when the hotel was quite full so that was much appreciated. The rooms though need a refresh. They were worn, drab, and not quite up to Hilton par.

Very friendly staff! East check in. Clean rooms & perched on top of a hill. Great view of the mountains. The air conditioning was either very very cold or off so it was a little uncomfortable. But overall good stay.

We've stayed at this property for previous visits to Roanoke, and it's always clean and the staff is always helpful. The rooms are nice, and I've always enjoyed them, but the air conditioning in our room this trip didn't seem to cool at all, despite it being cool outside. Other than that, everything was good.

Beautiful views, nice room, clean and easy to check in/out but the breakfast being an extra price sucks and the thinness between rooms is the worst. People above us got up at 5am to leave and they sounded like a herd of elephants. Couldnt control the ac couldnt even turn it on/off. Rooms so thin the person next to us coughed and it was like he was in the room. Paper thin walls.

This property has adequate amenities. However, what impressed me and made me go back for a second time was the staff. Specifically the front desk person Mat. Mat was beyond professional and friendly, he treats every patriot like family. Also, the food is awesome!

Not happy with my experience at this hotel. I booked with hotels.com and after arriving for check-in at midnight I am told I only have one room booked when I booked two. Clerk seemed irritated that I used a third party. Showed her a copy of my reservation but to no avail. So I paid for an additional room then after calling hotels.com I am told the reservation was sent under two names. So how am I supposed to know that when I booked both rooms under my name and paid for both. So now I am likely not getting a due refund. On top of all this I was bitten all over the lower half of my body by bed bugs. Beyond livid.

We had a problem checking in; the system was down and my credit card was declined like 6 times as I was trying to pay the $25 incidentals bill. Took me 20 minutes--finally the nice buy at the desk gave up and let me go up to my room. The personnel were very knowledgeable and nice. It left a bad taste in my mouth, though, when I went to warm up my daughter's waffle and found a box of old food in the microwave.

Our stay was great—everything about the accommodations was just as expected. What really stood out was the kindness and flexibility of the hotel staff. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. with our little kids, who were both hungry and eager to jump in the pool. Even though the small in-house restaurant and pool were set to close at 10 p.m., the staff went above and beyond. Around 9:30 p.m., I placed a quick order for chicken fingers and fries, and both the bartender and the cook in the back were incredibly gracious. Even though they were cleaning up and getting ready to close, they happily made a quick dinner for our kids without any hesitation. It was such a small gesture, but it made a big difference to a tired family. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality!
