Nice hotel that needs a few tweaks: tv remote didn’t work & took 1 day to get a replacement, indoor pool ice cold & needs to be resurfaced as peeling off badly, toilet's low to ground & TP holders installed 1” off ground-like for children at schools.

The room was nice and very clean. Unfortunately, they offer a fitness center but it has NOT been kept up. There were 5 TVs in there and none of them worked. The TVs on the equipment wouldn't power on, nor the ones that are mounted on the mirror. There were 2 clocks in there - one was dead and the other was on the wrong time. The hand sanitizer was completely empty. The paper towel dispenser was empty. Don't offer a fitness center if you aren't going to keep it taken care of.

First, the door would not lock but there was no maintenance on staff so they did offer to change rooms but only other room was closer to rowdy kids. So we passed and just hoped no one came in. Also, cable went out during March madness games. And two suvs were burglarized with their windows busted out. I will not stay here again as safety for their customers are not their priority.

The only thing we didn’t like is there is only 1 elevator for a 4 story hotel and it stops at every floor whether you’re going up or down so the elevator was extremely slow. Take the stairs!!!

I was pretty disappointed to be honest. There is an expectation when booking with Holiday Inn Express and this one didn’t measure up. It’s in a sketchy part of town. The grounds were dirty. Grass and plants were not manicured. The carpet in the hall was stained HORRIBLY and ripped in areas. Safety hazard. The toilet flushing mechanism wasn’t working so the toilet didn’t flush. The lamp bulb was burned out on one nightstand. The sink was missing the drain plug. The tub had a huge stain with rust about 7” in diameter. Just not a place I would go back to.

Staff was good, but the property could use some maintenance. The hallway carpet was filthy & the exterior had trash around it. The drain system in our room was horrible. The sink drained extremely slow & we had to use water from the tub to flush the toilet.

No one was at the front desk when we tried to check in. We waited a long time and the lobby smelled like sewer gas. Our room was dirty in areas and we almost left in the middle of the night because of the sewer gas smell that continued in our room often on the entire stay. If we hadn’t driven 10 hours that day I would have left.

Our room and bathroom smells so bad. It’s like someone has been smoking in this room for years and it hasn’t been cleaned with a mixture of sewage. So disappointed. This is the first time I have experienced this with any holiday inn express across the country.

Unfortunately the dresser drawers in our room were broken and the television sitting on top the dresser was sitting at an odd angle and could not be adjusted. Looked as if the whole thing might have fallen over at one time. Also when first turning on the heater there was a putrid burning smell. Once the heater ran for a bit the smell did dissipate. The room otherwise was very comfortable with two easy chairs as well as a sofa. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Keurig coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator all in good working order. Shower also nice.

The TV remote didn’t work correctly. The front desk said’none of them did because they had ordered the wrong ones’. The room was clean. The bed comfortable. There was a stain in the middle of the room on the ceiling. Facility is starting to age.

This Holiday Inn Express was definitely on the lower end of the scale. Everything needed to be replaced and the carpet in the hall really smelled bad. However, the room was comfortable and quiet so it is really difficult for me to complain! Just need to pay attention to the really deteriorated condition of the the furniture in the dining area, etc.

Arrived well after the 3pm check in time only to find out our room was not ready yet and they did not have a timeframe of when it would be ready. Took at least 30 mins to even get to check in because the front desk clerk was outside on her phone taking a personal phone call then proceeded to come inside and continue her personal phone call and not help anyone. I was not even acknowledged that I was there or was even told they would be with me when they could. They just completely ignored me. Room was clean for the most part, the bath tub had some dirt residue leftover. I have never had issues at a holiday inn, but the initial experience is making me second guess finding my go to hotel for stays.

Our room wasn’t ready to check in at 3pm, it was finally ready right after 4pm. When you’re traveling many hours with small children and plan to have a hotel room it would be nice to be able to check in on time. Or at least receive a phone call prior to let the guest know it will be later than expected. The facility was clean, and in good repair. No complaints about the room!

This was just quick overnight while traveling through Wichita on the way to Dallas. The hotel is dated. Otherwise it was an ok property. At check in the clerk took my card to run it to cover incidentals. She had me tap my card 3 times, as after each transaction she got some kind of "fail" message. She gave us a room key and told us she would check into the issue. She said she did not think it was my card. I went down later to see if the issue was resolved. It was not, so we tried running the card again. It appeared to work and the she said it failed again. I went back up to my room and got online to my credit card site. I could see all 4 transactions on my credit card site as pending charges. A short time later the employee called my room and said she had resolved the issue. No explanation. The room was ok, just not an overall welcoming experience

Worst check-in experience ever in 50 years of travelling globally. The lady at the check in was surly, she said I did not have a reservation. I showed her the reservation through Expedia on my phone. She said the reservation was not one of theirs and that I should contact Expedia. She did not offer any help. Eventually I found another confirmation code which worked and she grudgingly checked me in. Her attitude was that she did not want to be there and continued to be rude. The hotel was clean and in good condition but we will not be staying there again.

This hotel was easy to get anywhere from. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel is one of the better free breakfasts we've had. The pool was open until 11 which was later than any hotel we've stayed at and the kids enjoyed it. It was just big enough to be able to let off some energy and wasn't busy. We really enjoyed the stay here. They even had cookies out in the evenings! We had zero issues during our stay and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Paid for the room which was 2 queen beds on Expedia when we arrived they informed me they gave me my room away. How do you give the room away when I had already paid for it. So we had a king bed instead. Not happy why pay for what you want and they just give it away. Room was clean, bathroom clean, breakfast was ok. They were out of some food. Looked like they weren’t prepared for more people
