Easy check in. Keys in lock box, no human contact. Room clean. Small kitchenette but no pans, utensils. Overall excellent value for our stay.

I have stayed here several times in the past. The workers and owners take great pride in their business. I constantly observed the staff cleaning, whether it was guests' rooms or the walkways inside the property. I knew they didn't have a pool, so that wasn't a deal breaker for me. They do have a cute area in the back with a koi pond and tables to just relax or eat a meal. The rooms are very large and there is a kitchenette which includes a stove top, mirowave, sink, and full size fridge. I only wish they provided a pot/pan or two & maybe a few utensils so I could make use of the stove top. The a/c unit was constant when it was on. I like that because I hate being woken up in the middle of the night. The sofa in my room had a very large tear in one of the arm rests. The bathroom, including the shower curtain, were immaculate. This hotel also has the fluffiest towels. There is no breakfast provided, but thats's ok. There are plenty of places within walking distance to find a good meal. Or bring your own pan so you can make your own!

You need to know to ask for kitchen supplies!!! We were definitely impressed with the thoughtful and high quality upgrades to this older motel. A very comfortable bed, new flooring, tasteful color palette, quality fixtures, even granite kitchen countertops! And super clean! What baffled us was why, with a small but full kitchen, there was not a single eating or cooking utensil. Checking in is done by a texted code to open a box with your room keys. No problem, other than this is when you might be told that you simply needed to ask for anything you needed. I hope management will post a notice in the kitchen letting you know that you can request flatware, glasses, plates, bowls and cookware. What you get for the price is excellent, and we will stay there again, only next time we will know to bring our own eating and cooking utensils, or to simply ask for them.

The Koi pond in the back was so relaxing

Loved having a kitchenette but it wasn't furnished with any dishes or pans, etc. Probably because there isn't a dishwasher. Still a great place to stay and super convenient right off the freeway. On a busy street but it was really quiet. They've done a great job with soundproofing.

Staff friendly and welcoming. Communication the day of check in was very good. The room was large and very comfortable. We stayed in a queen suite. It had a kitchenette area with stove top, microwave and a large fridge. Bed was very comfortable. It was a great stay after 11 hours on the road. We walked to a Taco Bell next door. There were other choices close by.Will stay again if traveling in the area.👍

Room very quiet and clean. Front office was closed so check in snd check out “contactless” was nice but a little changelling to get extra supplies. Room has coffee pot but single cup so if you drink more than one cup bring your own coffee maker. We will definitely stay here again and will encourage the rest of our Sr Softball team to stay as well.

The hotel is older, but remodeled. It is roomy and comfortable. Initially, it seemed to be very clean until we looked at the bottom of our bare feet. They were black after walking on the floor. The tub was full sized and the room was nice a dark. The mattress was very soft and the pillows were hard. The linens were nice and so were the soaps. It was quiet and not full when we stayed. There is no swimming pool. Entrance is from the outside of the hotel.

Fantastic! Really cute place to stay next to everything! Only thing i would say is the carpets need to be cleaned, and the patio area needs to be cleaned up, wasnt what we were expecting!

Clean and kind staff

I was greeted by the clerk immediately she had my room cooled and ready for me. The motel had recently been renovated so everything was new and the room was spotless. I was able to park directly in front of my door so loading and unloading was a breeze

Great value, nice beds, very clean!

Noone was initially available at checkin. They gave us an ADA room, upstairs? The clerk moved us to ground floor. Beds sagged in the middle (really old). The floor was filthy. I showere and walked to my bed and the bottom of my feet were black!

The hotel is older, but remodeled. It is roomy and comfortable. Initially, it seemed to be very clean until we looked at the bottom of our bare feet. They were black after walking on the floor. The place was poorly kept and upon arrival there wasn’t anyone yo check in, we were referred to a self check in box on the side of the building. No one available for amenities and the lady that would text over the phone to get updates was extremely demanding and rude. I booked because of the high ratings but definitely a place to stay away from. Carpet is dirty and smelly and the restroom vent wasn’t working so the room smelled like mold.

Check in was fine. The lady that checked us in was very nice. My husband requested a second floor room which she accommodated. The room was very cute. We were pleased, but the bed was awful. We can’t figure out how it manages to get all these 10’s! If you don’t get a good nights, sleep, what uses it?

It wasn’t bad, just ok; clean, comfortable for a quick stopover in St. George. Old building, WiFi terrible….if you need to work or do schoolwork remotely, skip this place

Old Motel remodeled to a 2 star level. The sheets were good. They gave me a room next to a busy Blv. Noisy.

Our room was newly updated and had a lot of space. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay - all good things except the road noise

The room was spacious, clean and amenities were ample. The kitchen was nice although I didn’t use it. I obtained the key via a box as there was no staff. There is also no WiFi.

Disgusting room and hotel. Completely misrepresented. No staff exists at all. The only communication I received was via text prior to 6am. I requested for them not to continue texting at that early hour and they continued to do so. I received 6 texts prior to checking in when they could have emailed me. Horrible staff!

Check in time was 3pm so we measured our 9 hour drive from Boise to arrive at the motel at 3:30. The neon sign in the office said open but nobody was there. We called the phone number on the office but only got a message. We waited over 30 minutes before someone finally called us back and said they went to the store and would be there in 15 minutes! The manager finally arrived about 20-25 minutes later. We had requested a 2nd floor room as far off the street as possible. She assigned us a 1st floor room nearer the middle of the motel. This was also with no other car in the entire parking lot so I knew there were more acceptable rooms available. After voicing my displeasure with our assigned room the manager relented and gave us a more acceptable room. When questioned about her absence while supposedly being open from 3pm till night she gave us very snappy answers and was very rude. We had stayed in this motel a number of times and liked it very much so this experience really put a bad taste in our mouths and are likely to ever stay there again. I hope this critique gets to the owners so they know who is providing “good customer service “ to their clients.

The room was great. Bed comfortable n clean room. However the absence of management and customers was a little odd. Check in by key box and strange text messages from management. Then the over done signage in the rooms seem a little harsh.

I don’t have a vehicle so was happy to find a variety of food options within half a block. Check in was smooth and staff has been very attentive.

There are no staff on site. A note on the office that says "be back soon" but room keys come from a lock box, so I do not think anyone is coming back.. WiFi does not work. Dirty, old carpet in rooms. Signs all over the room stating what you are not allowed to do. This feels like an extremely budget property for a not that budget price. Would not stay again.

Excellent customer service

Received text from staff early morning prior to check in requesting us to grab keys early in the morning. Wasn't possible as we were 2 hours north. Staff was rude and tried to guilt us into cutting our day short in the national park so she didn't have to stay waiting for us. I believe they were understaffed and over worked. All else about stay was ok.

The Chalet was a great experience. Superior customer service. We asked about a bottle of water and Dexter drove to the store and got them for us. Christine was very kind and helpful. We asked for directions and she immediately printed them. The property and rooms were very clean. This will be my go to hotel in St George. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Christine and Dexter!!

The room was decent. We liked the fact that it had 3 beds. For a one night stay not bad. Until we left. My youngest daughter got sick overnight and threw up. As to not just leave a huge mess for the cleaners my husband and I cleaned everything up. The next morning after check out I received a text that we would be charged a ridiculous amount for the towels we used to clean up. When I responded that I would not pay that amount I was told that per state they had to be thrown away because of bodily fluid....I don't believe they throw away every set of bed sheets with bodily fluid but ok. I stated if they wanted to charge an appropriate amount we could discuss that but she was unwilling to discuss it. We had left a bag of laundry and needed to come back and get it. We were first told she would give them to us, then we were informed she had family things to deal with so she would be leaving it outside with our names taped to the bag. When we got our things bag was taped to a garbage bag with the towels and a note stating we could take the "puke towels home and wash them". I could NOT believe the petty and unprofessionalism that this was. I am currently disputing the charge with my bank and will never return to such a rude motel. Absolutely ridiculous and so incredibly rude. Not to mention cowardly to leave the note and leave.

Very nice motel with excellent management. Really wonderful place to stay for a few days. Manager could not have been more accommodating, absolutely wonderful. Would recommend highly.

Stayed here twice, great motel. Close to old town, food and shopping.

The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the little koi pond outdoor space. It's right on a busy street with not much surrounding landscaping. There were some places to eat within walking distance, which was helpful. There was no front desk staff on duty during our stay, so no one to ask questions. There was no WiFi available as far as I could tell, and phone calls to the main reservation phone line about this were not returned.

The room was extremely clean and a nice size and is conveniently located. But, there was quite a bit of noise that came in from the street and the neighbors. In addition, I didn't like that they don't accept cash as a payment option. Overall it's a good place to stay.

Beautifully renovated, traditional “mom and pop” motel right on the main business route of St. George. The road was occasionally a bit noisy until about 10:00 pm then all quiet after that. Don’t let that discourage you from enjoying this absolutely clean and crisp motel at a bargain price. My wife generally hates motels and proclaimed this one as a “keeper”. They even had nice wood hangars in the closet, a rare occurrence. We will be back.

This is a consistently good motel for overnight stays in St. George. It's convenient to the I-15 and walking distance to the town for restaurants/shops. While nothing fancy, the rooms are large, clean and safe and a good value for the price.

Great place to stay. Really nice inside. The price was very reasonable and walking distance to some nice places to eat.

The rooms are nice and very clean. The check in process was so easy and the staff is outstanding. It is located right on the Boulevard so you have easy access to lots of shops, dining and activities.

The only thing we didn’t like is no breakfast🙁

This place was very clean and appeared to have been remodeled recently. From the outside we were not expecting this so we were pleasantly surprised. The only draw back was it is on a very busy street and there was a lot of traffic noise.

It’s a very cute small, motel, that is very comfortable and quiet. The person at the check in desk was very helpful and friendly. She gave us multiple suggestions for dinner and maps about Zion.
