Contemporary, chic, art filled lobby. Best breakfast in town in the lovely Guild House dining room. Wonderful small shoppes, galleries and dining on High Street just outside hotel. Room very comfortable-lux bath and shower. Have stayed here many times. Our go-to in Columbus.

The staff was amazing, the room was clean. There were treats available in the room at a cost, while this wasn’t a problem it was clear they were old. The coffee was fantastic, and the Cityview was superb. My biggest issue was parking the best option is valet which costs $40 a day. The price is high, and to go out with your car is quite tedious, because you have to wait for the valet which can take up to 30 minutes so you have to make sure to plan that in your time. It’s not uncommon to see people standing out front waiting on their cars. I'd love a daily self park option so I can get my car at will without paying ridiculous rates. All in all, it was a nice Stay. The location is fabulous and perfect if you want to explore downtown and the short north. Ideal for convention center events.

When we arrived, the staff heard my fiancé say it was our anniversary. They sent a complimentary bottle of Champaign to our room. Front that point on it was a fantastic stay all around. The bar in the lobby, 5 star. The room, 5 star. The view, 5 star. Valet service, 5 star. Had our car ready in 5 minutes or under anytime we needed it. Even the guy working the door, friendly, helpful and pleasant. Hands down my new go to hotel when staying in Columbus.

The Location was very convenient and close to the downtown area. The staff was very courteous, and friendly. The room was clean, and the minibar was stocked with lots of nice options. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again in the future.

It was sort of dirty, the wallpaper was peeling, there were orange stains on the curtains, and the finish was peeling of the bedside table. The outlets were worn enough the plugs wouldnt stay in the holes. The bathroom looked nice, but it was extremely dangerous. There was no rim around the shower stall so water got EVERYWHERE! We both slipped and almost fell multiple times. They had bottled tonic water in the mini bar with no bottle opener. I would have thought the money I spent would have gotten me a little bit of forethought and cleanliness. The views were outtanding, the bathtub was nice and we enjoyed the record player.

Could be an even better property. A real gem. The housekeeping services aren’t up to par currently. My room was made up as requested but towels left on floor weren’t removed as well as dirty coffee cups a d glassware do not remover. Odd. Great location, friendly front desk staff and bartenders.

Bedside table alarm clock was pre-set by someon and it woke me up at 5am. There should be a way to check this I would think. Walls were paper thin and you can hear normal conversation in next room throughout the night.

We liked that we had a view, and being downtown close to things to see and do, even though it was quite noisy (highway). We appreciated that valet had unlimited in/out privileges because self park was a joke. We would have really appreciated if the restaurant had at least one vegan option on their menu (a meal - not a dressingless salad or just sides). Because they did not, we did not patronize it.

when arrived at room it was 2 queens, not the King I booked. I called front desk but they said I booked a queen and they were sold out of kings. They repeated I booked Queens or hotels.com didn’t transfer the reservation correctly. nothing they could do to get K. I verified my reservation that I did book a K, contacted hotels.com who called hotel, and minutes later the front desk called and said their mistake, they checked me in under the wrong reservation. (Although I provided my Drivers License at check in). They resolved by moving us and gave us a breakfast voucher for the trouble. At 12:30AM our phone rang twice (I thought it was a dream the first time as my daughter & I were sleeping) & said there is no credit card attached to my room to charge for the drink I ordered (earlier) and if I could come down to the front desk now. At 12:35AM!! I couldn’t believe that they called my room at that time -2 times! And asked me to get out of bed to come down. I also provided my credit card at check in, which I assume they left attached to the original room they gave us. So now to resolve if my credit card was left on someone else’s room for incidentals/their charges. Did not make me feel very comfortable. Sad these happened bc it is a beautiful hotel in great location and would love to come back but not sure I will again.

We were informed when we checked in that they had oversold the King rooms. We were offered the Queenx2 room and they offered satisfactory comps. The entire staff was amazing...attentive, informative and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Pretty bad c/s fail. Room I booked/prepaid was not available; I get it, things happen. But no apology - just ‘we’re sold out’. And, much worse, no refund of the price difference between the room I paid for and the room I received. I don’t expect to leave a marriott property feeling ripped off

Great hotel, centrally located, caring staff, great food and wonder full accommodations. I gave it a 4 not a 5 as on check out the staff charged me for a bottle of wine that I did not drink and a replenishment charge for the in room cooler - I called them up and had the charges reversed. Additionally, I had asked the room to be cleaned between my first and second night and it was not done.

The Joseph is very close to the convention center (we were there for Volleyball) and a number of other food options. The lounge downstairs is fun and everyone is always very professional on their staff.

We have loved the Joseph for many years. The Guild House restaurant is lovely off of the lobby. Staff is stellar. Rooms have been consistently fresh and very comfortable. Only thing is in the last couple years, the main street in front of hotel has gotten very noisy. We stayed in back of hotel this time and it was better.

Such a cute, artsy hotel! Exceptionally clean and the beds were the best! Some of the best sleep I've had in a while! Great location and the staff was very friendly and courteous! Enjoyed the wine at the bar and the breakfast at The Guild House was delicious!

Helpful, friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere in the lobby bar (and coffee shop by day), and a great location for convenient dining and shopping made this a wonderful stay for my wife and me. Definitely recommend and we’ll be staying here again the next time we come to Columbus
