The Museum - Au Lit, Jérôme!

This is a wonderfully and lovingly restored old property Excellent hosts, fantastic breakfast easy walk or tram into town and plenty of great places to eat nearby although many closed on Mondays

This was the third time we have visited this establishment for a 3-day visit. All the rooms are extraordinary as they are full of antiques, curios and books, and unusual decorative effects. Ours had ceiling made of shells in the bathroom and an unusual tropical plant as a centerpiece. The decor, comfort and cultural details help to refresh the mind and body and the excellent and comprehensive, surprising breakfasts help to refresh the palate. The location, in the upmarket Zuid area, is very convenient for the Museum of Fine Arts and other cultural sites, bars and restaurants, and minutes away from the River Schelde and it's new riverside development, and transport links. The owners are superb and welcoming hosts.

The room and building were both beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. You can tell that a lot of love and attention go into the property. Breakfast was delicious and included a lot of different tasty treats. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay, the room is beautiful and the breakfast amazing. We will visit the place again when we visit Antwerp and recommend it to all our friends.
