Room was pretty clean and parking was easy with lots of space. My ac unit in the room was very noisy and was disruptive when sleeping, room got super warm if it was off though. My hair dryer was sticky and that's my only other complaint.

This property was perfect for getting to Ironman AZ events. It is close to dining options and very easy to park. The hot tub wasn't working which was a little bummer but overall a great place to stay.

The room was great. The pool was closed for “maintenance” but no one mentioned it or would say why, the gym was fine but had no air conditioning. But the breakfast was great!

Checked in on 3-24-24 at Tempe Hampton Inn room was not clean and need to be dusted and vacuumed crumbs and litter on carpet. The Swimming pool and Hot tub was not opened until check out day due to mechanical problems on 3-27-24 ice machine was not working on our floor 3rd floor. Hotel needs a good cleaning

This was a nice hotel to stay at. The rooms and common areas were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is centrally located so it was easy to get to Scottsdale and ASU and the freeway.

The room needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned and refreshened. For a Hampton Inn, I was very disappointed. It was a completely different experience than the one I stayed in North Phoenix/Happy Valley. The outlets by the bed didn’t work. The USB on the nightstand didn’t work. The heater/fan made an awful noise. I was put in a room right by the main road & too tired to ask for another. There was a major stain on the wall behind the toilet. Like another reviewer wrote, this may as well have been a Motel 6. And the other reviewer’s report of the outlets clearly hasn’t been addressed.

Rooms are very dated. Old fixtures and just cheap quality. Carpet was filthy… asked housekeeper to vacuum as food from previous guests still apparent. My socks got very dirty just walking across carpet. Curtain torn and hanging. Breakfast was very good and variety of choices. The front desk staff were excellent but overall not a $200 per night value.

When staying at this Hampton Inn please check area around your bed. Unfortunately my family and i found this out as we were packing to come home. Found a used maxi pad under the ruffle they use around the bed. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn.

Was not told that house keeping was only every other day when i booked in heard this when i was waiting at reception and another person was checking in. Did not get house keeping on the day it was due and had to ask house keeping staff to clean my room. But rubbish was not emptied. There is just one s sliding door for the bathroom and the wardrobe was i found annoying. + the cupboard door to the fridge would not close. Drawers for your clothes are open baskets so if you dont use packing cubes smaller items of clothes & items fall through. Old style A/C which was noisy and smelly. Would not recommend or be staying there again.

The close proximity to the PHX airport was the main draw to this hotel for me. However, the incessant and overwhelming noise of the room’s AC machine rattling was akin to driving down the high way at 90mph with the back windows down. The noise kept me up all night and entirely defeated the purpose of staying close by to the airport to capitalize on all of the sleep I could get on a business trip.

Everything was great EXCEPT the WATER was DISGUSTING. It smelled and tasted like mold. My husband and I were seriously scared to even brush our teeth with it. Thus, we brushed our teeth with bottled water and did not shower. Husband tested water in shower, it was the same as water from sink. Very disturbing.

The outlets by the beds were so worn out the would no hold a plug in. The console between the beds with a usb did not work at all. We left our room at 9:30 or so to take some stuff to the car and have breakfast. When we came back to the room at 10am, we found the housekeeper had entered the room, emptied our personal items out of the refrigerator and taken our cooler. When the housekeeper saw us return to the room, he did return the cooler at least, but our snacks and drinks for the drive home were gone. We had NOT checked out and still had our keys. This was our first stay at a Hampton and probably our last. Might as well stay at a Motel 6.

I booked the king suite with wet bar to accommodate 4 of us. Two on the bed and two on the sofa bed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and you just roll to the middle. We put the sofa bed mattress on the floor but you can feel the springs of the mattress. We downgraded to a two queen bed room. That room is much smaller and has no microwave. Those were the two main reasons we booked the suite with wet bar. The staff was nice but offered no compensation for the downgrade in room or inconvenience.

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, IF i could be away from Scottsdale road. The room was horribly loud and we couldn’t sleep. The staff was lovely an accommodating and were able to let us move to another room and then everything was great for the rest of the trip. Rooms are dated, but very clean. Every employee we dealt with was great. We will be back. Great convenient downtown Tempe location.

Hotel was in an awesome location. Rates were higher cause it was spring training. That was kinda a bummer. Donnie at the front desk rocked and worked his tail off. He was great. Answered ever text and always helped. The housekeeping staff was super nice and helpful.
Hotel was in an awesome location. Rates were higher cause it was spring training. That was kinda a bummer. Donnie at the front desk rocked and worked his tail off. He was great. Answered ever text and always helped. The housekeeping staff was super nice and helpful.

Tried to see if any rooms were available for an earlier check in. The staff seemed annoyed and bothered that I would even ask. It’s ok if they weren’t, it’s how you choose to communicate it. The carpets are dirty and need cleaning. No room to eat at a table during breakfast so I sat at the patio outside but got locked out - no way to get back inside without it k coming on the door and hoping someone will open the door. No signage indicating this so o has to prop the door open with the trash can so I go back inside to get more coffee. The beds were uncomfortable

Front desk lady was rude and booked us in a cigarette smokey room pretty sure she knew it smelled like that and she seen I had two kids and when we went down to tell her she didn’t ask if we wanted to switch rooms room wasn’t even cleaned at all just towels switched

I went for a last minute trip but the location was close to coffee shops and convenient stores so it’s a good location the parking was good. I didn’t get the name of the young lady (dark hair ponytail and glasses) that checked me in but she had the best customer service ! Will definitely be staying here again

Disappointed. We could not checkin at 3. Only one person at front desk and we were turned away because they did not know if rooms were ready or not. We had an engagement at 4, so my husband and I were unable to change clothes for the event. When I did checkin later that night, I asked specifically if there was coffee in the morning available. The clerk said, "Oh yes 24 hours a day you can get coffee in the lobby." At 5 am when we had to leave, the coffee in the lobby was stone cold and I was told, rather brusquely, they only make it one hour before breakfast at 7. This is a HOTEL! People are traveling, picking up early flights and not lounging around. How hard is it to have hot coffee and maybe a muffin available. This was what I got for $325. Never again.

However, the incessant and overwhelming noise of the room’s AC machine rattling was akin to driving down the high way at 90mph with the back windows down. Staff rules. Lena is the best. But ..I saw several homeless individuals looking in cars and running around the property,even using the bathroom at the pool area. Look, I love the staff, but I was worried all night about my vehicle. They even lock the doors last 10pm. Wisely done if u ask me.

Stayed just one night to be close to the PHX airport for a very early morning flight. The hotel was pleasant, clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a 10-15 min drive to the airport, super convenient. Fair price.

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, IF i could be away from Scottsdale road. The room was horribly loud and we couldn’t sleep. The staff was lovely an accommodating and were able to let us move to another room and then everything was great for the rest of the trip. Rooms are dated, but very clean. Every employee we dealt with was great. We will be back. Great convenient downtown Tempe location.

Everything was amazing! Was here for a work trip and traveled alone and felt very safe the property was very quiet, clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast wasn't that great but it was a variety of selections which was nice!

Everything at the hotel was great, except they seemed understaffed at breakfast time. There was only one person to restock the food items and keep the area clean. You could tell she was overloaded. This lead to guests waiting for items to be restocked. That made the breakfast area very congested.

When we arrived, we were greeted very friendly by Lena. She was awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Thank you Lena for your excellent customer service skills! Breakfast was boring. No variation from one day to another. Same menu as 20 years ago! Also, limited choice for vegetarian options. Breakfast needs improvement. Look around at what other hotels are serving and spruce it up!

The area is definitely not super safe feeling. The rooms were big and clean staff was very nice. Property was a little out of the nicer area but close to a lot of things. Breakfast says till 10 but at 9:15 it was mostly gone and cold, said they werent making more which was disappointing.

It was a wonderful stay. I was so refreshed everyday. Mostly due to the beds being comfortable. The room was very clean, and roomy, and smelling fresh... very relaxing. The shower was clean with no traces of other peoples hair left behind. The breakfast was good and hot. The usual, waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, breads, juices, coffee. The staff was helpful and friendly. The gym was clean, spacious, and 24 hrs (yay!). I was ever so grateful the price made it so I didnt have to stay in another Motel 6!! The beds are much more comfortable too. So yeah, if the price is right again, I'll stay again!!
