Amadi Panorama Hotel

I did not have a very good check in process at all. The Hotel is not clearly marked from the street, steps leading up to the lifts, difficult with luggage. I had to park in a loading zone to go to reception to get access to the parking. The area around the hotel was not what I expected, i was not comfortable walking around on my own at all.

A really nice place to stay for visiting Amsterdam. The hotel had been very nice. Great room, delicious breakfast - they even make omelette, eggs, pancakes for you upon request, great view from many rooms. I don't have anything to complain about. The tram station is not far from the hotel and it takes you to Amsterdam Centraal in about 20 minutes only. And if you park in that public garage close to the hotel parking fees are really 7,50 € / day (24 hours), which had been absolutely perfect as parking in Amsterdam can be pretty expensive!

The lobby was fantastic for me. For someone who wants to spend a few hours for work in lobby. It had a cosy atmosphere with free snacks and coffee.

The ads photo is misleading because the hotel only the top 2 floors not the whole building The entrance to the hotel is stairs beside the building to reach to back door then ride on service elevator to reach to the hotel The ads information tells you that there is air conditioning but unfortunately it is fooling customers I complained after the temperature reached 25 in the room but I was told to open the window to get some air exchange which I did but got lot of mosquitoes

Wir waren über Ostern für 3 Nächte in diesen Hotel. Die Rezeption befinden sich im 8 Stock eines Hochhauses. Um in unser Zimmer zu kommen mussten wir zuerst in den 8 Stock dann mit einem anderem Aufzug in den 6 Stock. Das fanden wir sehr umständlich. Zuden hat im Hotelzimmer das Telefon nicht funktioniert. Im Notfall musste man also immer persönlich in den 8 stock fahren. Hab ich so noch nie erlebt. Dann hatten wir das Zimmer für 3 Erwachsene Personen gebucht aber nur Kissen für 2 Personen bekommen. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt dass die Kissen ausgegangen sind. Sowas ist ein no go. Zumal alle 3 Personen den gleichen Preis bezahlt haben für das Zimmer. Um in die Garage zu gelangen muss man immer aussen am Gebäude rum gehen. Innerhalb der Gebäudes gibt es keinen Zugang. Obwohl das in der heutigen Zeit technisch bestimmt einfach zu lösen wäre. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns,gesagt dass dies eine Sicherheitsmaßnahme sei. Das Garagentor war an allen 3 Tagen defekt und stand offen. Somit war unser Auto zur keiner Zeit sicher. Auch mussten wir an der Rezeption Klopapier holen weil es das Zimmermädchen vergessen hatte aufzufüllen. Für mich einfach kein Zustand eines 4 Sterne Hotels.Schade wirklich. Auch die Flure vor den Aufzügen sind dreckig und machen keinen guten Eindruck.Die Lage in der Nähe der Straßenbahn ist gut. Das Frühstück war auch guter standart. Für unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Amsterdam wählen wir ein anderer Hotel.

Hotel is getting quite old. After a summer day in Amsterdam the rooms get really hot but the airco was barely functioning. Prepare for hot nights during summer. Refrigerator wasn’t working and quite dirty.

Hotel is located in a calm and secure area and also close to local transportation. There is no car park of the hotel, you need to park your car in a public car park with a daily fee. A/C and fridge did not work. I reported that 2 times but nobody did a thing about it. At the end they only put a small fan to our big room. Hotel is part of a residential building, only last 2 floors, 7th and 8th. The enterance to the building is a little bit creepy…

Found it very strange that the reception is on the 8th floor.....and the first 5 and a half floors are apartments

Verrassend leuk. Was wel zoeken naar de parkeerplaats en daarna even o zoek geweest naar de receptie op de 8ste verdieping. Nette kamer met gratis koffie in de lobby. Luke receptie medewerkers. Goed ontbijt.

Geen parkeerplek in de buurt en de mini koelkast deed het niet.

Bedbugs and disgusting beds in generel. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wir haben in einem Familienzimmer mit unseren Kindern gewohnt.Leider hat man hier und da sehen müssen, dass die Reinigung des Zimmers nicht immer und überall zufriedenstellend war. Zudem wurden Handtücher und Toilettenpapier regelmäßig vergessen. Das Frühstück war ganz gut und die Angestellten bemüht. Positiv hervorzuheben war die Größe des Zimmers, welches lichtdurchflutet war durch viele große Fenster. Die kostenlose Minibar, sowie die Möglichkeit Kaffespezialitäten rundum die Uhr zu holen, war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Der Check-in war leider auch erst eine Stunde später als angegeben möglich. Wären 10 Punkte die Höchstzahl, bekäme dieses Hotel 6,5 Punkte.

Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, als wir uns beschwert haben, weil unser Zimmer ekelhaft dreckig war. Die Toilette war voll mit braunen Spritzern, überall war Dreck, Aber vor allem haben wir Nachts gemerkt, dass an der Decke eine ganze Gruppe von fliegen rumflogen, direkt neben von der Decke hängenden Fussel-Fäden. Auf den Fluren roch es so stark nach Chlor, dass wir die Luft anhielten, wenn dir dort durch gingen. Zum positiven: Personal war nett und Hilfsbereit, auch, wenn man sich nur um die Toilette gekümmert hat, das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, und die Anbindung in die Innenstadt ist super. Trotzdem nie wieder!

Unfortunately, our room smelled of smoke although it is a non-smoking hotel. Also, all the utensils in the room were dirty such as towels, toilet seat, trash can, kettle, shower tray, mattresses, The water bottle from the released in the refrigerator had already had lipstick at the opening when opening the bottle. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this accommodation in any case.

It could be a nice hotel - nice clean rooms, good location. But unfortunately they have a terrible problem with the sewage system. The room was smelling terrible of bad sewage (faecal odour). Only when running the water for 15 minutes, it was better for some hours - but when entering the bathroom in the morning it too ones breath. I asked for improvement, but nothing was done. I would have left if I would have needed to stay more than two nights. The rest of the room - bed, etc. - was really nice and clean - but in this smell one could not enjoy.

Sauberkeit insg. lässt zu wünschen übrig... Geruch nicht angenehm... Preislich zu teuer... Netter Portier hat geholfen und unterstützt. Frühstück ok...

Veel spinnen en veel spinnenwebben in de kamer. Veel stoffig. Verstopte badkamer afvoer.

Clean room with friendly staff

Superbe chambre, bien propre, possibilité d’aéré la chambre à travers la fenêtre. Cafe gratuit !

Room was very nice overall aside from white curtains in the room and black blinds in bathroom were dirty. Staff were all friendly and approachable. Appreciated the fresh fruit and unlimited tea and coffee available.

Quarto espaçoso, banheiro excelente, café da manhã muito bom. O Wi-Fi não funcionou no quarto, fez muita falta. Reclamamos mas não foi resolvido. Fica um pouco distante do agito, a Central Station está a uns 20 minutos de tram.

Prima kamer voor een nacht. Helaas uitzicht op het naastgelegen pand. Wel fijne bedden.

Una buena experiencia, camas cómodas, el espacio de los cuartos muy amplio, con área para trabajar, baño limpio y excelente ubicación para tomar transporte y llegar al central

Jeg var desværre meget skuffet over opholdet og hotellet. Der stod der var WiFi på værelset. Det virkede ikke og jeg var oppe og sige det i receptionen, men der blev intet gjort ved det. Det er virkelig skuffende, når det er et af de parameter der bare skal virke. Værelset og badeværelset var meget slidt og køleskabet på værelset virkede ikke..

Every room feels like a penthouse

Small room, good view...until they finish the building next door. Air conditioning didn't work, staff not very helpful and I suspect they knew: I had to insist to get someone to look at the settings, when someone from maintenance said it was not working indeed. Even with two fans, the room was hotter than the car park. Locals don't have a good opinion of the hotel, here is why.

Right outside the tram station, so great for getting in and out of central. Some cafes and supermarkets around. Beautiful view from the room. Staff were lovely. My biggest qualm is that it felt like it was a newly acquired property. The route to get in was a bit unclear and didn't feel like a hotel. The rooms were clean but like they were awaiting renovation. Wallpaper rips and stains on the carpet. Good place if you're trying to save some money being outside the center. I wasn't unhappy with it but I don't think I'd stay again.

Hotel ground floor entrance was not particularly inviting or inspiring, it is down an alleyway which was not illuminated at night and there was a lot of building work going on. That said, the hotel itself, which is on the 7th and 8th floor of the building, was much more inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Our experience at Amadi Panorama was top flight. Staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating, the room was ideal for a brief stay (special kudos to the high ceilings and unique light fixtures), and it was quiet and peaceful to be just outside the city, though remarkably convenient to get to Centraal. I will be visiting again upon a return trip to Amsterdam, and I will be recommending to friends as well.

Nice hotel a short tram ride from city center. The room was large by European standards with a refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker. Staff were not very friendly, other than the young man who checked us in but never saw again. Recommend you skip the overpriced breakfast in favor of the bakery or bagel shop just down the street.

When i checked in obviously the person on the reception has to clear all the formalities for check in. He gave us the false information and taken the deposit of 82 Euros which he told we will get on check out and now today when i was checking out, the other person on the reception refused to give it back because he said you got the wrong information and i will give you back on 35 Euros like seriously? Very disappointed service as i was having high expectations from this hotel.. Terrible experience and never gonna come back to this hotel.

After a terrible day of travelling we arrived at the hotel to be subject to terrible customer service. My son had booked through a 3rd party booking agent who had requested a single room instead of a double. The hotel receptionist offered NO help at all to get this sorted, telling us they were full and couldn’t offer another room. After no help to get this sorted, I ended up booking a junior suite which was miraculously available, despite being told they were full up. Escalated to the manager but again no support - it’s not their problem. Sullied the stay. Won’t return and won’t recommend.

Het is een heel fijn hotel met echt het allervriendelijkste personeel wat ik in tijden heb meegemaakt. Van de receptie tot de housekeeping en de kok bij het ontbijt. Allemaal lachen, groeten en heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk om te ervaren. Parkeren ook een makkie gewoon op de straat voor het hotel, zaterdag na 19.00 en zondag is dat gratis. In de buurt zit een Albert Heijn, drogisterij, action en meerdere winkeltjes, restaurantjes en snackbar en je bent met de tram en bus ook zo in de stad. Een taxi naar het centrum kost circa 25 euro ;snachts) helemaal prima! Wij hebben genoten en komen hier zeker weer als we naar A’dam gaan

Lovely friendly staff , well balanced location and the night views are spectacular.

Set in a lovely area, quiet but with plenty of amenities within a two minute walk. Gorgeous views from the room as well. The staff were all very pleasant, and helpful, even offering me somewhere to store my cheese! The bed was comfy, though I wasn’t a fan of the mattress topper, but it was easy enough to pop off for my couple of nights. I’d be more than happy to stay here again.

Mooie ligging, makkelijk met openbaar vervoer naar centrum Amsterdam te komen. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Outskirts of Amsterdam but with a very fast public transportation to the city centre. We liked our stay a lot.

Nice hotel, good location just outside the main city centre area, tram stop directly outside, 15 mins ride to central station to view amsterdam.

Close to city center just 15mins by tram, also 3 local shops just few minutes to walk where you can buy everything you want or need.

We were visiting friends and wanted a place near their home. This was a great location so close to the tram that we could either walk to their house and feel like a local at the surrounding shops and cafes or jump on a tram and be in the heart of Amsterdam in 10-15 minutes. We always love staying away from the crowd and this was awesome. The chef prepared Dutch pancakes for me as well even though he was only making American pancakes. Great infused waters and a nice buffet. All around great experience sitting in their lobby area looking at the beautiful view from the 8th floor.

Really lovely comfortable room and fabulous breakfast. On the downside there is construction around the hotel which makes it look a bit messy. It’s also not easy to find the entrance to the building as the hotel is on the top two floors. There aren’t really places to eat anywhere near. Having said that it was good value for money being slightly out of the centre, and an easy 10min tram ride to centraal station.

Great place to stay. 5 min walk to train that takes u to central station in 15min. There were 2 grocery stores nearby so it was pretty convenient.

I had some trouble finding the hotel but the room was nice clean and spacious (single room deluxe). Staff was overall friendly (apart from one man who checked me in, I thought he was a bit rude). The hotel breakfast was nice but I personally don’t think worth the full price. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets to buy food from.

Fijn hotel en een goed ontbijt. 4 nachten verbleven i.v.m. met een cursus en het centrum van Amsterdam.

Personale gentilissimo, camera ampia e luminosa, comoda e accessoriata, pulizia , bevande a frutta sempre a disposizione. Particolare il contesto di sicurezza per l' accesso alle camere. Ci siamo trovati bene. Ottima colazione con vastissima scelta. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
