I had a really lovely stay at this lodge in Costa Rica. The room was a great size with a private bathroom and had everything I needed as a solo traveller. The property is gated, which made me feel safe and secure throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the volcano, as well as the nice communal seating area outside where you can relax. The location is excellent — everything is within walking distance, including restaurants and shops, which made getting around very easy. Breakfast was included, and I really appreciated how organised and attentive the staff were. You choose your breakfast the day before, and they remember your name and look after you when you arrive, which added a nice personal touch. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay that I would definitely recommend.

The staff made this place extra nice. I asked to borrow their microwave on some leftovers and she even plated it nicely and gave us silverware to use. Breakfast is pretty good. I wished there was a screen on the patio door or window so I can leave it open for extra ventilation without letting bugs in. The room can get humid too. The bathroom is a nice size, but for some reason water easily splashes out of the shower and gets the floor outside of it wet.

Room was very clean and cute. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Great location!

The room was excellent, balcony overlooking the volcano. Very comfy beds, staff were great, aways ready to help. A nice choice of breakfasts. A short walk to town.
