The property itself is OK but it’s a little bit dated.. The hotel attempts to be aesthetically clean, but if you look at it very carefully, you can tell that: the shower glass hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time nor the mirrors nor underneath the bed.. the hotel has only one washing machine, Which is underwhelming, considering the amount of rooms that they have.. The gym is kind of an afterthought.. The location is good if you don’t want to be in the heart of the action and take it easy at night.. The rooftop views are impressive.. Overall, the hotel has to do some major renovations Because the potential is there.. They just really need to update The rooms and work on deep cleaning them every once in a while..

Stayed with in this hotel with my mom, two separate clean rooms with daily room make up options; Great location and convenient, pretty much across from one of the entrances into Myeong-dong Street Market; Emart 24 store directly next to the hotel for snacks, beverages and other miscellaneous items; 5-7 minute walk to the subway station; lots of close eateries and coffee options; great views from rooftop bar and restaurant; laundry option downstairs; staff is super friendly at the hotel, especially the super friendly and beautiful Lilly and the courteous gentleman named Tom; will definitely stay here again.

It was a good place to stay - the location is premium! Such a good place to be close to big subway stations and the hustle and bustle of the market nearby. Pillows in the room were very bad we had sore sleeps from the lack of the cushion only 1 per person to. Size of room is small but that didn’t stop us! You move around it. The spa upstairs is private it had an epic view good place to relax for 20$ can after a long day. Although the hot tub was not hot at all it was at maybe 78? And the suana was not warm at all. But still fun. Cleaning was great! They came daily and we felt safe with our things out.

What I like about this property is its close proximity to myeongdong shopping center, namsan tower, and subway. The facilities is excellent. The restaurant at 22nd floor has a great view and food to offer. I will definitely go back bext time I'm in Seoul.

It supposed to be 4 stars hotel. No.. no lobby, no room services, no restaurant. NO SPA as they have in description! They have hottab at additional cost. Totally misadverisement! I would never stay in this hotel if i would knew all all of it.

Room is clean. Room is small but is considered more spacious than some other. Hotel is 5 mins walk to Myeongdong station Exit 10. However, there is no elevator at the exit, hence got to carry the luggages up to the ground level. Other than that, it is close to the main shopping area. There is also a rooftop bar that offers great view of Namsan tower

The place overall was very nice and convenient! Downfall was the bathroom, it was a little dingy and did not look like the photos provided. Cleanliness was ok, definitely tell it’s old but bed was clean and comforter was clean.

The room was small but doable. I didn't like the fact that the sink is not inside where the toilet is and you have to walk around to go wash your hands. They did not did a good job at cleaning the toilet. You can still smell pees

Very outdated hotel! Hotel needs some remodeling. Sheets and towels stained or with holes. It is in a convenient location near Myeongdong. Has a laundry room but with only 1 washer and 1 dryer, very inconvenient. I don’t see myself booking with them again.

2泊3日で利用しました。 毎日水の提供がありますが、250mlの小ボトルです。 夜外出から戻るとベッドメーキングはきれいにされていましたが、マグカップ類の交換は在りません。3日通して同じコップです。 また、清掃をしてもらったとは思われますが、トイレットペーパーの補充はされず。 足りなくなり、フロントへ電話をすると「フロントまで取りに来ればあげます。」と言われて驚きました。最終的には部屋まで持って来てもらえました。 備品はバスアメニティ(シャンプーとボディソープ)のみです。 バスローブや歯ブラシもありません。 予約時は四つ星ホテルだったと思っていましたが、入り口には三つ星の表示がありました。 立地はとても良く、どこへ行くにも楽でした。 ホテルを出るとソウルタワーが見えて景色も良いです。

It was a nice location to stay (Myeongdong market, shopping, food, subways) but the cleanliness is terrible. My towels regardless if I get new ones there’s always stains on them. The hallways are dark and same as my room. They had 4 broken bulbs and didn’t change it. The chair covering is old, blind for the bathroom and walls are yellow.

Hotel is in a great location. Room was very small but good considering price. The shower did have some mould in it and hair in the bathroom from previous guests. Cups were rarely changed with room service and floor was not vacuumed for the entire week of our stay. Biggest issue was the glass surrounding the bathroom. If you’re staying with a friend be warned!!! There is a screen you can pull down to lessen visibility through into the bathroom from the main room. But if your friend is in the shower you can’t walk past to go to the toilet unless you close your eyes. There is also a mirror right outside the bathroom so if someone is in the shower be careful where your looking

The hotel is close to Myongdong and located close to thre me subways lines. The internet was slow. Far slower than any other hotel on our trip and than we have slept on a hotel without sheets.

２人で泊まるのにベッド周りをぐるりと歩く事が出来ない位狭いのと、道路側の部屋だと車の音が夜もきになります。 駅から近く、隣にコンビニがあるのでそれは、良かったです。

Generally this is a positive review, but first the major con, noise, you will need earplugs to stay here My room was on the 19th floor (the highest), and was facing the street. The glass is single pane and: - Seoul drivers blow their horn constantly - Some vehicles have especially loud exhausts fitted - At midnight, there is a someone manually directing traffic using a loud whistle - This is a major road, so the traffic doesn't calm until about 2am - Other odd noises I did ask at the desk about the noise but was told that as I was on the 19th floor the noise would probably be worse on other levels. I suspect the main issue is because of the single pane glass, the window is the same size as the room. NB I also had a hotel in Busan which I noticed had the same kind of glass so I suspect that's a Korea thing Now the list Pros: - location. You couldn't ask for better, it's a 5 min walk to the tube, and the tourist part of Myeongdong is pretty much right there - I had issue getting a taxi on my last day but the staff were very helpful and sorted me out straight away - The rooftop is nice (and is open) - Breakfast was great - Shower was fantastic, full size and powerful Cons - It has an ice machine in name only. There's just one, and on the ground floor, and dispenses something like 15 cubes every 30 or so minutes (there's a sign on it to that affect). It didn't work once in the time I was there - Gym. I booked this hotel for 2 weeks and it was my base to come back to after shorter trips to other cities in Korea. It's so easy to get to from the 6015 airport bus and is also close to many other bus stops and Myeongdong metro station. My room was super comfortable although the air conditioning was a bit tricky to get working properly and sometimes I'd get blasted with cold air in the middle of the night. But that's a minor thing for me because I don't mind the cold. The room was a bit small and though it was perfect for me as a solo traveller, it might be quite cramped if there are two of you. Also there isn't all that much space for luggage and shopping even if you don't have that much. I didn't get to try the rooftop bar because I was just so busy, but next time I'll definitely make time because the view from my 19th floor room alone was amazing so I can imagine it's even better up there. The restaurant has quite limited food options, but you're in Myeongdong, so this is not really a problem. The hotel is very clean and although I didn't really speak to the staff, they were very friendly on the occasions that I did. I'd definitely recommend the Ibis to others and I really hope to go back there in the near future.

Great location and value for what you pay. The rooftop bar is nice but a little pricey. My only complaint is that the rooms are starting to show their age.

Stayed with in this hotel with my mom, two separate clean rooms with daily room make up options; Great location and convenient, pretty much across from one of the entrances into Myeong-dong Street Market; Emart 24 store directly next to the hotel for snacks, beverages and other miscellaneous items; 5-7 minute walk to the subway station; lots of close eateries and coffee options; great views from rooftop bar and restaurant; laundry option downstairs; staff is super friendly at the hotel, especially the super friendly and beautiful Lilly and the courteous gentleman named Tom; will definitely stay here again.

The first day, i have mentioned to the staff about my ac not working. It took some time to get someone to fix it. Eventually they were not able to fix it abd rooms were switched. Yun, i believe she was the front desk manager was very apologetic, offered us comp, the gesture to recover was very commendable. I would be back in thjs facility

Staff was EXCELLENT and Awesomely Helpful in all my request. Jun was incredibly assertive in making sure my items I needed refridgerated which was lei's from Hawaii stayed cool and I can't compliment enough how nice each person at the front desk were. The room was very clean and hotel was extremely quite. Perfect place to stay in Myeondong if you want to shop and get around. Will definitely book this hotel again. Love Love the STAFF.

The location is still a long walking distance from the myeongdong streets. Need to cross a big junction to get to the Myeongdong side. Not very convenient. The breakfast is the same everyday. We stayed there for 3 days but they only changed fried egg to scrambled egg or fries to wedge potatoes. Limited food options also. I reached airport and realised that my phone went missing. I called the hotel reception and they found a phone left behind. I asked if they could help me arrange for an express shipping service to the airport and I will pay for it. However they said I had to arrange for the service myself. How could a foreigner know how to do it. So I asked them to keep for me and I will find a way to send it back to my country the week after. They took very long time trying to retrieve my information but still could not. I only checked out 4hrs before that and they already lost my data. Wow.

The room that was provided was comfortable and had good amenities. Unfortunately, in the 16th floor hallway was not as comfortable when the heat and humidity was high. The hotel was near the Myeongdong Station which was important because it made traveling easier. It is also near the night market which gives us a lot of cheap eats.

Alles war perfekt. Zimmer war ausreichend für zwei Personen. Die Lage unschlagbar. 5 Minuten zur Myeongdong shopping street und zu der U-Bahn. Bushaltestellen waren ebenfalls in 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen. Hotel und Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würde hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.

It is a little over five minutes from the last stop of airport bus 6015, which departs from ICN. 24-hour Emart is right next door and also in the central shopping district of Myoungdong. The hotel room was a small business type, but it seemed like a brand new carpet and bathroom. It was a good shower, the AC was working great, and there was fast front desk service in & out.

I stayed for 8 nights in March 2024. The hotel is easy to find and is very close to the subway lines (5 minutes to Myeong-dong on line 4 and then 15 minutes to the Euljiro on line 2). It’s very easy to get around Seoul because of this. I also got the Airport Limousine and that dropped me off and picked me up at Myeong-dong station so it was really easy to get too and from the airport. The room itself was nice, a bit of wear and tear on the walls but nothing too bad. The bed was comfy and the room had everything it needed. The staff were also nice. The only issue is there is construction close to the hotel (at the back) which starts around 8am until 6pm. I wasn’t too bad for me as I was out all day but on the days I did want a lie in it woke me up. This isn’t the hotels fault though and I’m and guessing it will only be temporary. Regardless of this there were more positives so I’d recommend staying here.

Hotel was fine, a bit small but fine. The issue is the extortionate price they charge in the restaurant. It cost a fortune for a simple meal that was so small in portion size that I thought it was just a starter. Apart from that, good-ish hotel in a good-ish location.

Didn’t get good sleep here, they only give you one pillow which was way too soft. My friend also found a stain on her duvet, though staff were very apologetic and of course changed it that day. The room itself is very small. The breakfast is also a small selection and pretty random too, as usual there is a Asian and Western option but for the Asian option which there is rice and soup (which was always lukewarm unless you chose the cream option) there’s not really any other thing to accompany it. The chef with glasses makes a mean omelette though, that is definitely the highlight of breakfast. The location is decent, 5mins away from the bustling Myeongdong and Myeongdong station and about 10mins from Chungmuro and Euljiro 3-ga.

What I like about this property is its close proximity to myeongdong shopping center, namsan tower, and subway. The facilities is excellent. The restaurant at 22nd floor has a great view and food to offer. I will definitely go back bext time I'm in Seoul.

Der Aufenthalt war gesamt betrachtet in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist nicht besonders aufregend, es gab keinerlei Süßspeisen, aber man findet sich etwas und muss nicht hungern. Leider hat die Bar am Abend schon Recht früh geschlossen, somit haben wir es an keinem Abend geschafft den nächtlichen Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse zu genießen. Die Betten waren für mich bequem. Das Badezimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber es funktioniert alles. Die Metro als auch diverse Bus sind gleich in der Nähe, sowie einige Einkaufsstraßen mit jede Menge Streetfood und anderen Lokalen.

Location was awesome, close to 2 different stations. Roof top bar has amazing view. Property is well maintained. Only minor complaint was that request for extra pillows was never filled. No evening staff could fill request and was not done during the day either. Would stay there again though.

The hotel is in a good location, near Myeongdong so it was easy to get to from the airport. It was also nice and clean. The bathroom didn’t have enough surface space for our toiletries but other than that we had no complaints!
