Very expensive place for essentials. $4.00 for a small Bag of chips. Restaurant is limited for menu and only open 5pm -9pm. Vermont has State Tax, Food Tax and a new Tax called City Tax for Burlington on top of the inflated prices for poor quality food at hotel. The pool was over chlorinated I’m located in the basement - no hot tub - no Room service and $3.00 plus tax for a cup of hot tea..

Hotel lobby under renovation, lots of construction folks in the lobby which was itself taped off. Reception folk were preoccupied with them when we arrived. There is no parking included except expensive valet or metered on street parking. On the plus side, the room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is convenient to everything we wanted to do in Burlington.

This property is under major construction which they did not disclose, so you have to walk through a major work zone to get to the elevators. The restaurant is also apparently under construction and seemed extremely understaffed. Although the property advertised a pool, I saw no signs that this existed -- maybe it was hiding behind one of the temporary walls? It's infuriating to spend full price on a hotel to learn that it is under renovation. This should be disclosed when you make a reservation. On the plus side, the location is excellent and the valet parking was speedy and efficient.

Hotel was perfect for a girls weekend. Great location and walkable distance for restaurants and the popular Church Street marketplace. Valet parking service was convenient - you could text in advance to have your car ready to go in front of the hotel. Rooms were clean and staff was very quick when we requested extra pillows and towels. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Only downside was that the sidewalks were being renovated near the hotel while we were there. however, that’s only a temporary thing. Still a 5 star stay.

Hi, I wanted to share my feedback about our stay. My family and I chose this hotel specifically because of the indoor pool, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The pool room was freezing and, to make matters worse, the pool water was cold too. Hopefully, you can look into adjusting the temperature for future guests.

This property is under major renovation. It was a problem from the minute we arrived. Construction vehicles blocked the valet area and we had to go inside to find someone. There is ONLY valet here. We could hear guests on the rooms above and next to us. The entire first floor is a hard hat zone. It is a long walk thru construction areas to the elevators. The floor in our room was thin and bouncey. The bar/breakfast area is without any character. The front desk was nice but told us it was “corporate’s decision” not to notify anyone abt the construction.

Good price , close walk to water. Plenty of bars and food within walking distance . Hotel is undergoing renovations but didn’t bother our stay . Good in hotel bar and restaurant with snack options for late night . Free airport shuttle is a plus as well . Will definitely stay again if I visit Burlington in future.

Liked the location, walking distance from Downtown. Staff at check-in were helpful when we needed assistance and at check in. Thought cost for valet parking was high. Did not like the quality of products in bathroom (the tissues and toilet paper), did not get enough towels (had to ask for more), bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked. We were surprised and expected more from a Hilton hotel.

Property is undergoing construction and renovation so no pool or hot tub. Would have been nice to be notified prior or gotten a price break. Staff in restaurant area not very friendly or helpful. When someone asked for a coffee stirrer, they were told they didn’t have any because they were “under construction”. When asked if they had any muffins again the response was no we’re under construction. A bagel, and not a very good one, was $5. Rooms are very loud. Heard entire conversation of people in the room next door and they weren’t speaking loudly. Room above was either bowling or moving furniture. Even just footsteps very loud. Tile portion of floor in room, entry and bathroom, very sticky. Would not stay there again.

The common areas are recently remodeled and are great. The room was loud with people upstairs, next door and in the hallway and the shower tile was nasty. We could easily hear the people upstairs talking. Not what I was expecting at this price point. The staff was excellent

Stayed here once before and it’s fine, asked for a lake view room which was more $$, but our view was a building with very very small view of the lake. So if you’re going to stay here, don’t even bother with paying anything more that says “Lake View”

One word of caution though, when booking a room that is listed as “facing the lake”, ask if you can’t actually *see* the lake. That was my one mistake. Although the room did indeed face “the direction” of the lake, what you see is actually all the buildings between the hotel and the lake, so exercise caution on the “upsell”.

Staff was great during check-in/out. Hotel is lovely, clean, etc. I was in a 4th floor room and there was this weird constant thrum. It wasn't the heater/fan - which kicked on AND off. This thrum was constant- like a mechanism in the wall or ceiling. Unfortunately, it wasn't soothing like white noise.

We checked in on a Friday afternoon. Sounded like construction on the floor above no mention at check in. Went to dinner with friends and returned around eight. We could hear the TV in the room next door. The TV played all night until four am. Pretty disappointed with the sound proofing. Long night!!!

Wonderful location close to Lake Champlain and restaurants. The majority of the staff was extremely helpful, especially Peter at the front desk. He gave us a list of things to see and do in the area, plus a list of restaurant recommendations that were all walkable. The only disappointment we had was our rental car was damaged we feel by the valet service. We were promised to be reimbursed for the valet fees which hasn’t happened as of yet or follow through with giving us a copy of the damage report etc.

Pretty bad service: -They send me to the wrong room -We call 4 days before to have a baby crib. The gentleman at the front office confirm that I'll have one in my room at my arrival. No Crib when I came in. Call 4 times to understand that the guy send it to the wrong room and that the crib is broken. Talk with the manager who told us first come first serve, we only have 3 cribs in the Hotel. Come on, it's 150$ for a new one. -There was hair from the previous people in our shower. -Only decaf coffee in the room.

Strange that Expedia continued to send me updates to get ready for our booking and treating us as if nothing happened. Very convenient to UVM, which was the purpose of our trip. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of renovations happening which was not a big deal but noticeable in the morning. Only two staff in the restaurant for breakfast and no buffet (i.e. had to order and wait) which make it very slow and we left to find bagels elsewhere.

Evette at the front desk was amazing - so helpful at every turn. Room was comfortable, gym was nice. Great location Only downside of our stay was we booked the airport shuttle and the driver never showed up (granted it was 7am but still - it was scheduled the day prior). Still made our flight with booking an Uber but it was the only stress of the stay

Nice location, but due to construction, very challenging to find the entry point. Stood around the valet area for a good 15 minutes, seems like one of the attendants could have asked if I needed something! Room was very nice and quiet. Great location with excellent proximity to touring around.

There was a lot of construction going on at the hotel when we visited for an admitted students day at UVM. They also only had valet parking, which was a little inconvenient. The rooms were nice and the staff was helpful. Great location in between UVM and the lake and walkable to Church Street. There was a lot of construction downtown in general so it was a little confusing getting there.

Loved the hotel itself. The entry way could be more pronounced as it was hard to find at first. Loved the walkability and the staff were very kind. Valet was awesome. Only problem in the area is the high prevalence of homelessness. We tried to go to a couple different spots but were dissuaded due to the drug abuse and homelessness. Nothing on part of the hotel itself.

The HVAC in our room sounded like a freight train, so we couldn’t sleep. Pretty crazy, especially considering the room cost $392 for the night. To make up for this, they comped our $22 parking and gave us free breakfast…. Which we threw out, it was so disgusting. I can’t believe they have the balls to charge money for that. It’s the kid of breakfast that comes free with any room at Holiday Inn.

It's pricey but the location can't be beat. Walkable to Church st and spacious room. The bar staff, Ian, is fantastic! He made us some excellent drinks. The fireplaces in the lobby and front patio are both a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting by them with a drink later in the evening. Breakfast buffet, $18, seemed steep but then you consider that the local bakeries have avocado toast for $14, this is actually a good deal. And no lines. I would go back but go on a less busy weekend where the prices may be better.
