The room itself was fine. Breakfast was good. However, we had to get new room keys twice. Then ended up getting locked out of our room bc key card wouldnt work as we were trying to leave. Ended up taking the front desk guy 50 mins to figure out how to open the door for us. Bad customer service by 1 employee and manager. Hot tub was heated but jets not working. Elevator down button not working so had to go up to go down. Needs more updating.

Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work. No out of order sign. Hot tub would not turn on so maintenance turned it on. Jets extremely weak. Very difficult to unlock the room door handle. There is a Keurig in the room which is very nice There are numerous eating places in the area

The staff was exceptional, especially Sam at the front desk. Anything we needed he took care of. He was also very nice and friendly. the only negative would be the washing machines did not work and the Ice machine on our floor was out of order. Breakfast every morning was very good for a free meal. When we go back to see our kids this is were we will stay.

The elevator is in need of repair. The first floor bottom has pushed through the plate. It is definitely a health and fire hazard. It needs to be addressed immediately.

Room are accessed by a magnetic card. We got locked out twice. The toilet in our room was not bolted down to the floor. The security lock was missing. The refrigerator did not work properly. The coffee maker did not close properly. Microwave oven buttons didn’t work only the on button worked. When taking a shower if the unit above flushes the toilet the shower goes cold. They moved us to another room the next day. There was missing molding in the room. The shower floor was dirty and there was pink mold. Told the cleaning person on the floor and he said that was clean enough. For the staff asked the receptionist how to get to Downtown Hudson and she was not helpful. When we talked to the manager he had an attitude and then said don’t ever reserve a room with them. Trust me we will never book with that hotel. This property is not up to BW “plus” standards. After reading the reviews from other people they are all true and wished I read them before booking. Just the way the hotel responded to the reviews is the way they responded to us when we pointer out what was wrong with our stay, and we have pictures for proof.

The bathroom was not very clean and the window shade would not move up or down. It looked broken and was very dirty. There was dust and cobwebs on it and the metal piece that holds it in the track was broken and bent. We couldn't see how to get the shade all the way down. Did not feel we had very good privacy. The only thing we liked was the beds were very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed two nights here. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel seems like it's older, but has been nicely updated. Our only complaint is that the hallway smelled like marijuana during the entire time we stayed. Thankfully, our room didn't smell like it, so we were okay.

Sadly we didn’t have a great experience here… I would stay far away from this hotel. We stayed for three nights for a wedding. -(4) light bulbs were out. Staff gave us light bulbs to screw in. -The smell in our room was terrible. Old food, smoke smell. So bad that the night we arrived at 10:55pm I went to the Walmart to get a frabreeze plug in -once we unpacked we were looking forward to taking a shower, we turned on the shower and the shower head was cracked and sprayed all of our luggage and toiletries. Had to use up all the towels and hang dry our clothes. -house keeping had to replace shower head because there was no Maintance staff on hand -DONT walk barefoot in your room- black feet after walking on the carpet in our room. -white liquid stains on both sides of the pull out couch cushions -breakfast had very limited items, were out of eggs 2 days, staff was complaining about their previous coworker that didn’t stock the breakfast area properly Was a big fan of best western until this. Will not be staying at one again unless it’s one of their premier resorts. Disappointed-not worth $500 dollars for 3 nights.

Whoever is on the third floor cause I was in 322. That room stinks extremely bad. It smells like Indian spice and it does not go away. It made me sick and I smelled like that for two days.

We felt the cost of one night in this hotel for over $200 was too expensive. The room needed some work. The shower was old and not very nice, the floor in the bathroom was worn, the door handle was loose, the bedside table was not very clean (we had to clean it). Overall this hotel needs some updates.

We had another amazing stay at the Best Western Plus in Hudson, this is our 3rd year in a row staying there. The staff is so friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff, one of the best places we have stayed

The staff in the breakfast dining area were so nice & friendly!! Food was hot & kept refilled. Excellent selections. Also…housekeeping, outstanding and should be recognized for this. These ladies were super nice!! Made our stay enjoyable just speaking with them in the mornings. (They should be at check-in). The only negative was the front desk gentleman when checking in was very curt. Never went over pool or dining hours. Almost acted like we were an inconvenience. Terrible personality when you’re just arriving. But overall will be back again next year!

Overall a decent place to stay. We just needed to stay one night and it was just fine. Very clean. A little dated. Comfortable beds. Pretty good breakfast. The price was a little more than I would have liked to pay but we were there for a soccer tournament and I think the supply and demand drove the price up. And since we decided pretty last minute to book the room it was understandable. The area of the hotel was close to many restaurants and just down the road from a Target and Walgreens. So pretty convenient area.

Best continental breakfast ever. Bed and pillows were more comfortable than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Dropped one star because: (1) there was a really weird smell in my room, which I did not call the front desk about because I didn’t have time; (2) check-in is 4 pm, and I couldn’t get confirmation that I’d get early check-in until AFTER I had to leave home, meaning I had to go to a business lunch in wedding attire; and (3) there was little security to the building - all levels and rooms accessible until 12 AM. Overall, great experience, and I’ll go back if the need arises.
