Excellent location for travel in any direction in the city by foot or Uber. love my kids but glad this hotel was adults only. Included breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and delightful. Rooms were super comfy and super clean - Mid century look. Loved the nespresso (tired of Keurig) and good quality coffee. Small hotel tucked inside/above a cafe w after hours doorman gave it a more personal feel. And every staff member was super nice. There isn’t anything I didn’t like.

The Hotel Luca is a gem of a small hotel tucked away in the beautiful Roma Norte, one of the nicest neighborhoods in Mexico City. The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet and I always feel very safe there, even when I am travelling as a solo woman. You might want to know that it does not have a lobby per se, but there is a lovely coffee shop on the ground floor that is great for meeting up with friends. It has terrific coffee. The hotel is not dog friendly, but the coffee shop downstairs is. The "suites" are not two rooms, just one large room and there is no fitness center or pool.

Boutique hotel, donc niveau de service faible (pas de gym, pas de salle de travail, menu petit déjeuner imposé), pas de late checkout alors que l’hôtel semblait presque vide. Chambre standard pour un 4* mais lit très confortable. Par contre quartier très agréable.

The hotel offers limited services and looks more like an apartment building than a hotel. The “free” breakfast is embarrassing; we gave up on it after the first try.

El restaurante es riquísimo y con un gran servicio. La ubicación frente al parque es muy bonita. Lo único malo es que no tiene estacionamiento.

I was put off by the strange lobby/ check in. With the price I was expecting a proper hotel lobby and reception. The staff themselves were helpful and accomodating, but did not explain the amenities very well. We did not know until the following day that there was a terrace with a bar. The room itself was large and very clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

Wonderful location. Easy Uber rides to all the local sites and tons of amazing restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is quasi-wheelchair friendly (steep ramp to enter the lobby) but the rooftop terrace (where the included breakfast is served) only accessible via a staircase.

Everything you need. Nice breakfast, water in the fridge, fresh towels, wifi. Central location for a number of restaurants. Felt safe. Sweet park in front of hotel.

Uma boa opção para quem quer evitar os hotelões. Localização ótima (fica em frente a uma praça muito arborizada), quarto amplo e muito limpo, funcionários afáveis, café da manhã bom, embora com opções limitadas (não é self service). Tem um delicioso café privado no térreo, muito frequentado por jovens que trabalham à distância. A vizinhança tem muitas opções de restaurantes. Dois senões: as portas dos quartos são muito próximas e batem com estrondo, incomodando o sono. O prédio tem um único elevador, que não chega ao quinto andar, onde é servido o café da manhã; pode ser um problema para quem tem mobilidade reduzida. Além disso, quebrou na véspera da minha saída e não havia sido reparado até o checkout (não por negligência, mas por dificuldades técnicas).

Our room was great, spacious and very quiet. It was easy to fall asleep. We had the free breakfast only once and it was great. There’s plenty of places to eat that are walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe. The hotel itself is small with minimal amenities.

Great location in the heart of Roma Norte, very secure area. Everything within walking distance. Super clean, nice staff. Great rooms.

It was very clean and comfortable and the location was great.

Room service made sure that the room was in very good condition every day. The bathroom had a few spots of non-professional touches (paint on the bottom edges) but did not detract much. Complementary wine bottle on the first day was a good touch. Breakfast was excellent and service great.

We traveled as a couple for four days. We picked the hotel for its central location in Roma Norte. We were impressed with the hotel, its staff, and good breakfast in the morning. The bonus was the wonderful coffee house attached to the hotel. The room was clean and a decent size. I would stay here again.

Loved out stay at Hotel Luca. Charming and very comfortable. Safe and friendly. Security is on it in the evenings and honesty greets you upon your return. Desk staffed 24/7’s. Water and cokes in your refrigerator daily. Great bed and large bathroom with good towels. Lively room facing the park. So quiet at night. We left the patio door open most of the time and at night. Air condition never seemed to be cool enough. The ceilings seem low to our 6’3” man but he said room on 5th floor had higher ceilings. Great full breakfast in a beautiful area on the roof top of the hotel. Only thing it seems a little unsafe because no hand rail the first 10 steps but the there is one and you have to be able to climb a flight of stairs but the view is really very nice with indoor and outside seating. Please tip the hard working servers even if included in you daily rate. And your maids. The hotel is in a great part town with many eating options and the center of most attractions and museums. A little different checking in. You enter into the middle of a really lovely quiet coffee shop and on the left about in the middle of the seating are the glass doors to reception. Just knock and they will buss you in. Yet another safety feature. Really never felt we needed it in this area even walking at 4 AM to meet a transit ride 6 blocks away to visit the pyramids in a hot air ballon! Thank you to all for making our anniversary special with a most lovely bottle of wine. We will be returning again.

Wonderful place to stay. We appreciated the location, as we could walk to so many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, and also quiet! The breakfast on the terrace was also very good and peaceful.

The hotel is nice and the area is fantastic. The room was perfect for a short stay, only that the curtains didn't fully closed and the street lamp lighted the bedroom all night.

Great location & large rooms

Staff was wonderful. Area is great. Breakfast and downstairs cafe were great. Easy to get uber. Place is tired and I would liken it to a Best Western. No insulation or double paned windows, so it can be noisy.

We had a nice stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. Clothes dresser would have been nice to have.

I loved the location this hotel was, very convenient. The free daily breakfast was great. The room was big and spacious. The only bad thing about this hotel was its a bit noisy. Also, it has very big windows and the curtains have gaps. I had to use a hair clip to close the gaps better. If you are a light sleeper come prepare with an eye mask and ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel because of the location and the free daily breakfast.

This was a spectacular hotel situated conveniently in the heart of Roma Norte. With a charming coffee shop located on the first floor, you could securely access the main hotel rooms via key card. We had a room overlooking Plaza Luis Cabrera park, and it was so lovely and peaceful to look out on. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with the only exception being the bed itself - mattress was incredibly firm, which was really uncomfortable for my husband and I. Other than that, it was a really incredible space. Our room included a daily refill of the mini-fridge with bottles of water and coffee pods. We also received complimentary breakfast every morning, which we ate on the rooftop terrace (such a beautiful view of the park and city, and since the weather was amazing during our stay, it felt wonderful eating up on the terrace). The food was great - fresh fruit, sweet breads like cinnamon rolls or croissants, juice, coffee, and main dishes like chilaquiles and egg omelets. The two servers who took care of us every morning were wonderful. We really appreciated how attentive and kind they were. Outside the hotel, you’ll find dozens of restaurants and bars nearby. Walkability in this neighborhood is fantastic. You can find anything you need or want within a few short blocks, especially with Av. Álvaro Obregón being so close by with bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. We had such an exceptionally wonderful stay at Hotel Luca, and we will definitely be staying here again.

lovely hotel and a wonderful location across form the park. staff were super helpful - only thing to be aware of is that the basic rooms are quite small. totally fine for a night or two but book a bigger room if you are staying for longer x

The hotel is in a great neighborhood with a wonderful coffee shop downstairs. My room was clean, spacious, but lacked design style (no art), which was surprising for the area. Overall, I had a good stay at Hotel Luca.

Cute boutique hotel with a wonderfully friendly staff. Beverages are provided in your room daily - gratis. Breakfast was delicious. We chose the view of the park but if we were to book again, I would chose the courtyard view so I could sleep with the door open and not have to contend with noise from the park. It wasn't bad. I'm just a light sleeper. Also AC wasn't very cool. Thank goodness we traveled in February.

I had such a great experience staying at Hotel Luca! The location was perfect, right off of Plaza Luis Cabrera and very central to some great shops, restaurants, and bars. There is a cute coffee shop on the ground floor, and then a secure separate entrance inside for the hotel. There was also security on duty at night so that was great. I was traveling solo and felt very safe with this setup — that coupled with the incredible staff. The staff was so helpful and kind - they truly made the stay. The front desk was always attentive and available. They helped me arrange a massage in my hotel room, which is something the hotel offers for everyone, and that was wonderful. Breakfast was also included which was served on the terrace until 12 noon - loved the flexible timing and the vibe of the terrace overlooking the city was the perfect place to eat a meal. My flight out of Mexico City ended up getting cancelled so I had to stay one extra night unexpectedly; they were so accommodating to set up the extra night so last minute, and even arranged to have me in the same room I was in for the rest of my stay. I felt very taken care of the whole time, which meant a lot to me as a solo female traveller. I highly recommend staying here. I’m looking forward to returning back to Mexico City and will definitely be staying here again!

The property was in a good location and the complementary breakfast and staff were good. However, it took a while to get water for a shower and there was an additional charge to check in early.

The biggest issue we had was that the toilet seemed to leak somewhere. It wasn't a lot of water and we weren't sure where the water was coming from. We only stayed a couple of nights so it didn't make sense to move. The room we stayed in was right above the coffee awning facing the park. The park view was nice but it didn't have a lot of privacy. Skip the breakfast coupon - it was okay but many better places in the neighborhood. The value of the room was not worth it. The location was nice for the neighborhood, but would not stay here again. Walk through the coffeeshop to find the doors to Hotel Luca. Instructions on a welcome email could have been better. Check-in was smooth. There is 1 elevator and small. The bed is very firm. Although the 'lobby' is 24 hour desk, we rarely saw anyone at the desk.

The staff was great. I really liked that Hotel Luca contacted me via whatsapp a few days prior to my arrival to coordinate airport pick up and to finalize other check-in details. This was very handy.

Unfortunately my last impression of this stay was a negative one. The hotel entrance is located inside a cafe, in which I spent time and money at every day. After I checked out, I took a seat in the back corner of the cafe to wait about 20 minutes for my ride to the airport. A tall effeminate employee in glasses came by multiple times to take an order and when I said I was just waiting, they became aggressive and said I need to stay in the hotel waiting area, which is actually just a tiny office with one chair. Given that the two businesses are clearly in cooperation and benefit from each other, I'm surprised that cafe staff would be allowed to treat a hotel guest this way. The other staff person was ok with me sitting there, so maybe this person needs to be coached on customer service.

La temperatura del agua de la regadera fue un gran problema. O quemaba o era helada. La respuesta del personal de la propiedad era que así era el calentador y debía adaptarme. Dejé el hotel, sólo estuve una de las tres noches. Quedaron de reembolsarme las dos noches no usada, pero después de horas de comunicación se negaron. Tengo la comunicación grabada. Argumentaban que debía pedírselos la app de Hotels.com que por cierto nunca me respondieron.

Perfect location for exploring Roma Norte and La Condesa. It’s a quiet neighborhood. We loved the park across the street from the hotel.

Very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Staff super helpful arranging transportation, directions, restaurant recommendations. Located in the Roma Norte, on a small tree lined square with a fountain. Easy what to restaurants, museums and many wonderful parks. Very international vibe. Feel like you are in Europe. Just lovely

Everything about this hotel is wonderful: The staff, the room, the location! It's across from a quiet little park with pretty fountain, but close by to many great restaurants! We woiuldn't hesitate to stay there again if/when we were to return to Mexico City.

Good location. Nice room. Fridge. Safe. Nice staff. Good breakfast in the terrace. Nice park across the street. But on the last day we were robbed by a gang in the park while walking - by using the so called "Bird Poop Scam". The wallet was picked up from my shoulder bag while they were "helping" us to wipe the bird poop from our backs.

A localização do hotel é a melhor possível, perto de tudo, com boas opções para comer e se divertir. O quarto é amplo, a cama é confortável. O café da manhã é bom, mas merecia ser melhor. Ter que escolher entre ovos e panquecas (coisas completamente diferentes) soa estranho e desnecessário.

Nice safe location in front of dog friendly park. There is a nice coffee shop downstairs. Plenty of nice places to eat, cafes, groceries, and banking within a short walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious and had an option to buy from a menu. The breakfast terrace had inside and outside tables. The goodbye pumpkin flower ice-cream bars were delicious. Room was spacious and cool. The cool fan gets a little to get useto. The mini fridge is stocked each day with a few drinks. I borrowed an iron from reception. No iron board. Best to iron before coming. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely no upgrade. Were on the second floor above the sidewalk. Street noise from people in the cafe below. It did have an excellent breakfast, fruit, eggs, croissants and great coffee.
